The Hon. Elijah Muhammad Experience at Saviours' Day 2025

Sajdah Muhammad, who has taken responsibility for the Honorable Elijah Muhammad House Museum in Chicago's Hyde Park, as a tribute to his life, work and global impact, joined Straight Words hosts Naba'a Richard Muhammad, Bj Murphy and James G. Muhammad in a Feb. 25 conversation.

Brother James shared his experience at the beautifully appointed and refurbished home, how inspiring a visit to the property was. Sister Sajdah talked about tours over the weekend, Muslim business meetings, and continued plans for the project, which is nearly complete.

She also shared the incredible history of the house and the different aspects of Nation of Islam history and Black history that is being preserved.

The Saviours' Day convention Feb. 21-23 in Chicago was held at the National Center and Mosque Maryam. Student Minister Ishmael Muhammad delivered the keynote address, "Repent, For The Kingdom Of God Is At Hand," as directed by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.

Listen to their stories and a description of the first home of the Hon. Elijah Muhammad in Hyde Park and plans for holograms and exhibits will be right down to the modern time. A special focus will be on the women in Islam and their strong faith, leadership and contributions to our Nation.
