Speaker 1 (00:00):
Number one on your car radio preset hand the new
and improved Diehard.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
Radio w WD two seven three D, Philadelphia. I is
Fox Sports Radio the Gambler. You got to try to
port the film if he's open here getting Obie. He
(00:29):
did it.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
You know. He was asked about that record a couple
of seasons ago and he's like, yeah, no, shot, that's
one of those records that I never thought we would
ever see be broken.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
Of course, I was saying the same thing about.
Speaker 1 (00:41):
Will or Cream excuse me, kaream kareem Cream's record, right, Like,
I just never thought Lebron would play long enough at
that level to obtain the numbers he would have to
have to ultimately take over the number one spot. These
guys just play at such a high level at the
age that they're at right now. Vetchkin and how good
the capitals are too, which is crazy because you would think, like,
(01:04):
all right, this dude's out there, you know, and they're
getting them goals and the team is you know, suspect
that best. That's not the case. As I pull up
my NHL standings because I am such a diehard.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
Here, where's my guy Larry Henry Jr. When we need them.
Speaker 1 (01:20):
But right now the Capitals are top of the metro
and they are seventy seven games play. They got forty
nine nineteen, so forty seven wins for the Maple Leagues
over there in Atlantic, fifty two for the Centro in
Winnipeg forty seven. So look, their top of the list
as far as the better teams in the NHL. But
(01:41):
Ivashkin again playing as long as he has and was
able to get the goal needed yesterday against the Islanders.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
Pretty cool story.
Speaker 3 (01:50):
Pretty cool story, no, absolutely, and any anytime there's these
records that have been in place for years and decades
bye by the historical greats, you see someone break them,
it's cool. Like you don't have to be a diehard
hockey fan, which I am certainly not to appreciate Howitz
moments like that and that stuff is cool, like the reaction,
the pageantry when he skated on the ice dove, everyone
(02:15):
surrounded him.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
Dove on the ice. I meant it was it was
awesome and it was cool to see.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
And then him and Gretzky sharing the moment, like you
saw that when Kareem handed Lebron James that bowl. It's
just cool and great respect greats and records like that
are broken. It's just great sports movement here.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
I could even raise it up another level for the
people out there, courtesy of our friends over at Yahoo
Sports to do a great job with this newsletter Kendall Baker.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
He says the following.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
The Capital's won the NHL Draft on April sixth, two
thousand and four, and the right to select a Russian
phenom by the name of alex Ovachikan with the first
overall pick.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
Sam, do you know what today's date is?
Speaker 3 (02:54):
It's April seventh, which means twenty one years to the
day he broke the wreck?
Speaker 2 (03:00):
How about that?
Speaker 1 (03:01):
And on top Ovaskan did it eight hundred and ninety
five goals in one thousand, four hundred and eighty seven games,
Gretzky did it, and eight he did eight hundred and
ninety four goals in one thousand, four hundred and eighty
seven games.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
Like it's just crazy, you.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
Know how those things are playing out exactly to the
number there as far as games played between those two greats.
And yeah, at the record I never thought would happen.
I just never thought that that would be broken. Gretzky
held that record for thirty one years wow. PK Suban
was on ESPN. They said Austin Matthews could potentially break it.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
It's about Connor Bernard. No, No, he's he's been around
for a while. No, he's the young gun. You're thinking of.
McDavid oconor McDavid McDavid.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
I would assume again, if these guys can play to
thirty nine to forty to forty one, forty two and
keep scoring at.
Speaker 3 (03:58):
A high level, thing, it's like Lebron's record will probably
be broken. Like you have some of these even like
a Luca, like some of these guys who are young
studs who the durability is the question mark. But you
see guys across all sports playing later because of all
the analytics we have behind health.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
Yeah, and the advancements we've made with medicine.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
So guys are going to be playing late later, So
you're gonna see these records broken more often.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
Most likely a topic we discussed last offseason. Do you
know who could potentially go down as one of the
greatest baseball players.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
Of all time?
Speaker 3 (04:30):
Stani Juan Soto, Juan Soda. Really look at.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
Wan SODA's numbers and then check out how old he
is I think he just turned twenty six.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
Wow, something like that. It's just like he's been in
the league forever. Look at twenty six yep, and it's
like all right.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
Like you said, though, if they're durable and they don't
have any injuries that take them and sideline them for
a year or two, then there they will be uh
competing with those numbers. Pretty cool stuff though as far
as the world of sports, as you said, man, just
you know how have to be a die hard hockey
fan to be entertained by that. But keeping it moving,
(05:05):
let's go ahead and get back over to the hardwood.
I want to talk specifically about the NBA here. Sam
Oustrien does a great job covering all things hoops. Does
it all for us here in the game, k but
make sure you check them out over at the score.
And a game took place last night that had a
lot of attention Sam did. And it was of course
the LA Lakers and the Oklahoma City thunder who have
the best record and all of hoops, and the Lakers
(05:27):
went into okac and not only did they just win
in a national televised game, they smashed Oklahoma City one
twenty six to ninety nine. I'm I'm gonna categorize this question,
and you.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
Can have two options of an answer. You ready, yep.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
Answer A is maybe what took place yesterday shows us
that Oklahoma City isn't as good as advertised, maybe leak
in maybe they are gettable.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
Or option B. We need to be.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
Focusing on the Lakers more than anything. Put OKAC to side.
They're a damn good ball club. We know how good
OKC is, But the Lakers with that performance in a
seven game series, with those two dudes out there, JJ
Reddick Austin Reeves, they're putting it together, are we?
Speaker 2 (06:14):
Because you know where on at put me in category?
All right?
Speaker 1 (06:17):
You can hear it from my voice. Where do you
stand on that? If you had to give me an
answer A or B on that one.
Speaker 3 (06:21):
I'm going to be because I think it's more about
the Lakers because for a couple of reasons, Lakers needed
this game more like they needed to separate themselves from
the West packs. Now the Lakers are the three seed
and they're likely going to finish as the three seed,
and that four through eight is really jumbled in those
West standings, all within a half a game, So Lakers
needed this win. More separate themselves from the pack. The Thunder.
(06:42):
You don't really want to see this from a young
team that hasn't accomplished much in the playoffs, but they're
ready to get to the playoffs.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
I mean, they're so far ahead of the rest of
the West.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
It's one of those games with pretty much the last
week of the season, you're just like, all right, get
us to the playoffs. And that's excusable when you're the Celtics,
or maybe you're a team that's accomplished more with more veterans.
You don't love to see that from the Thunder, But
I'm not putting too much stock in it. What I
will say is from the Lakers' perspective is they did
a great job defensively against Thunder. The Thunder and that's
gonna be the big thing with the for the Lakers.
(07:12):
It's defensively without a rim protector, with a lot of
questionable perimeter defenders and Luka Doncics, you never know what
you're cann get from Lebron defensively.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
Austin Reeves, I got a lot of guys you can target.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
How were they going to be defensively and against the
great offense in the Thunder. They were awesome, Like they
really shut off Shay's drives. They they shut off Jaylen
Williams drives. They built a wall that were in the gaps.
They were really preventing them from getting to their spots,
which was really impressive. And they also switch everything as
they play small. And the Thunder went with the iHeart
(07:44):
chet Home grim lineup and that's the bit as big
a lineup as you can get in basketball.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
Wait, what did it go again?
Speaker 3 (07:50):
I heart Isaiah Hartenstein and chet Home Grin. Have you
never heard anyone coart like perfect?
Speaker 2 (07:58):
Right?
Speaker 3 (08:02):
So they went with that big lineup and the Lakers
can't match that. I mean, Jackson Hayes is their five man,
but he's not a starting caliber five, so you can't
really match that. And that's the problem with the Lakers
why they won't go as far as many, maybe some
people believe, is because of that five man where they
don't have not even depth at center. They don't have
any starting caliber center, so they're forced to play small.
(08:23):
And when they play small, you gotta switch everything, and
you're gonna have your wings guarding guys like Jet who
who can pound down low, but he's also a guy
who can play on the perimeter. Isaiah Hartenstein is more
of you kind of have to set him up. He's
good in the short role as a passer, you can
hit the floater, but he's not really a guy you're
gonna run anything through. But the Lakers did a great job.
They put their wings on them that they did a
(08:43):
great job on the Boers. They did a great job
defensively against big lineups. So it was really impressive Lakers defensively,
which was my big takeaway from that, because we know
what they are offensively. I mean with Austin Reeves, Luka
Doncicz and Lebron James may be the best big three
in the entire league. With how great Austin Reeves, who
I could make a real argument is the second best
player behind Luca on the Lakers right now with how
(09:04):
he's playing. So we know what they are offensively, defensively
and rebounding, that was the question mark, and they answered
the bellic Ons the Thunder. But again one regular season
game where the game outed a lot more for the
Lakers than to the Thunder.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
Brownnie James got action. That's when you know it's ugly.
He scored four points in that game. How about that?
Speaker 1 (09:23):
Uh, the big one for me when you look at,
you know, a game like that. Maybe people weren't able
to pay attention too much, but I was watching a
little bit of it, caught more of the second half
when things were a little bit out out of a
whack for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Still an entertaining game,
you had, Trent, Yeah, you got flipped off court.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
The dude has made such a name for himself and
here he has court sided backwards hack.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
God bless him. Whatever.
Speaker 1 (09:48):
Anyways, not a backwards haack guy? Oh no, no, no, no,
what I mean like that? I just was laughing. He's
such a stud, no nod. But he's made a crazy
living yisnwidad Anyways, the three point shooting from the Lakers.
They shot fifty five percent twenty two forty. Now when
(10:10):
that takes place yesterday, because I've heard people talk about
JJ Reddicks putting them in the right positions to hit
those shots. What should we take away from the twenty
two of forty Because that's not something that's going to
happen often.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
That's not something that you know.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
Forgive me, I don't know what Lakers are as far
as a three point shooting team throughout the course of
the season. But I sure as hell know they're not
fifty five percent. But do you think, like, all right,
hey man, those shots are just falling or is there
something to the fact that these guys are starting to
field themselves find their spots. Reddick is doing a hell
of a job coaching, and oh, by the way, you
got two of the greats of all time.
Speaker 3 (10:49):
Look in the last few games, really last fifteen games
or so, they're shooting almost forty percent from three.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
Wow, which is top four in the league.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
Yeah, in the season, which you can't really factor into
the season. That'shally because Luca obviously got there at the
trade deadline in February. But on the season they're shooting
around league average from three.
Speaker 2 (11:10):
So it's interesting.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
I don't take too much away from it other than
it was a phenomenal shoot night and they're capable.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
Of having those shooting nights.
Speaker 3 (11:15):
What I really the big takeaway is they have so
many table setters now that can find guys shots. So
Luca Doncis, we know what he is as a passer.
We know what Lebron James is as a passer. Those
are two of the best passers maybe in NBA history
now playing together and two of the best creators, so
we know what they are as table setters. But now
you have Austin Reeves who they're running a lot through.
And he's a great downhold driver. He can shoot the
(11:37):
ball really well, but he's also a great creator for others.
So when you put Luca or Lebron off the ball,
he can create for other guys. You can run a
lot of things through Austin Reefs. So he's been so
impressive as a creator. So we have as many creators
and defenses have to pay so much attention to those
three guys. You have to think of coverages and load
up on help on those three guys. It's going to
(11:59):
create looks for and so that's why I think the
opportunity is there for the Lakers to get open shots
for guys like Ruya Chimor he's not a great three
point shooter, but can make threes. And of course Dorian
Finney Smith. Gabe Vinson has been awesome the last two
months or so. He's twelve points yesterday, but he's been
awesome last two months. So guys like that are gonna
get easier looks that's gonna make them a better shooting
team because they have these three creators and they're big
(12:20):
three who are just phenomenal.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
Well, big time win yesterday.
Speaker 1 (12:25):
As far as the Lakers are concerned, and when you
fire up DraftKings, you look at the futures. I started
buying in a little bit more on the Clippers in
the West. They've been awesome. Yeah, I've been starting.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
To buy in. Kawi looks great.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
I think we were talking a little bit about that
last week and I think he just won him the
Player of the week, if I'm not mistaken from the West.
Speaker 2 (12:44):
So the Clippers have my attention.
Speaker 1 (12:46):
But man, like, should we start Oklahoma City is not
going to win this conference?
Speaker 2 (12:51):
No, I'm not there. I haven't waivered once all year.
You know that.
Speaker 3 (12:54):
I've been Okay, se is winning this They're so good
they're not gonna waiver now. And the only thing is
the inexperience which could come to play in Jalen Williams
as a secondary guy, Like what's he gonna give you?
And if he's not given you great nights, you have
so much depth where check could be a secondary guy.
Teams are gonna sell out to stop Shaye and they
were going to blitz Shae. They're gonna trap Shae on
(13:15):
his blitz, his pick and roll coverages, They're gonna throw
two guys at him. They're gonna do everything to prevent
him from getting to his spots, and he might just
do it anyway. So it's gonna come down to the others.
The Thunder are so deep defensively, we know what they are.
They value possessions when any in the league. Number one
in turnovers in terms of forcing turnovers and then number
one in turnovers offensively where they never turn the bowl
(13:36):
over like that is valuing possessions at such a high rate,
which matters in the playoffs. I can't I can't get
off this Thunder team. They've just been so dominant all year.
I mean, we're talking about a team that that could
have win almost seventy what's the record und now, that
could have win almost seventy games like that, that's how Yes,
so they're not gonna win seven games, so they could
get to sixty six sixty seven wins. So so that
(13:56):
is just I can't discount a team like that. I
don't care about their inexperience went through the playoff scores
last year. I don't see a way with I don't
see a way that the Thunder don't win the West
with the Nuggets have been struggling.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
The Lakers.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
Obviously they got that big win, but I still have
questions at center with their rim protection and defensively with
all three of those guys on the floor.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
I'm just not buying any other team. It's gonna be
the Thunder.
Speaker 1 (14:19):
Play in tournament will start one week tomorrow from tomorrow,
excuse me, on April fifteenth. The NBA regular season comes
to a close on the thirteenth, which is the Sunday,
get a little bit of a breather, and then we
get our play in tournament. And again you gotta focus
on some of the bright spots. But you think it's
bad for the Sixers, which it is. Could we show
(14:42):
some love for the Phoenix Suns. What a disaster of
a year.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
That's the question. Who's had the more disastrous year.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
Oh, I don't think it's even close. It's gotta be Phoenix,
just because they've been healthy more healthy.
Speaker 2 (14:53):
Yeah, And like I never.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
Thought that the Sixers were going to put it together,
but to miss the play in, to miss everything, to
be eliminated.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
You's got Kevin.
Speaker 1 (15:03):
Durant out there, you got Devin Booker, Like these guys
were just on usas like this ball and and now
you know Beale like you can't figure it out, so
they get eliminated, which is awesome to see, but you
know the Sixers. Yet, that was one thing that I
learned from over the weekend that really made me upset
more than anything. Uh Duke related, I heard that Paul
(15:25):
George is currently building a house in Philadelphia. He texted
that that's not good.
Speaker 2 (15:31):
That means he thinks he's here.
Speaker 3 (15:32):
Come on, do you think Darryl Morry we know I
cut throw Daryl Morris, think Darril Moorey cares that he's
building a house.
Speaker 2 (15:37):
J's an opportunity building a house?
Speaker 3 (15:40):
Why why is he? Maybe he really likes the city.
He's got to be outside the city, but maybe he
really likes the area.
Speaker 2 (15:45):
I was I always see this being home post playing career.
God bless him. I don't know why we live here
over LA.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
But yeah, that's well, let's just be honest about who
he is right for him.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
That's one.
Speaker 1 (15:56):
Two is dude, if you play like you you have
to be much better like you're you're not going to
be a fan favorite.
Speaker 2 (16:04):
This isn't going to end like you are like you
think it is.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
And I don't care where he lives in the mainline
or whatever, but the rumor I heard, and maybe I
need to be a little bit better as far as
my sources are concerned, but I do have I know
exactly where he is, where he was as soon as
he came into town, where he's living, and with that
that point of view, and then I heard over the
weekend that he was actually building and it's just like,
oh no, Paul George is building a home.
Speaker 3 (16:29):
You're no lill spot up right next to Michael Rubin
and Bridmore and another very very prominent six ers Black a.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
Lot of people living up in that area.
Speaker 3 (16:37):
Yeah right, I mean why when you think one of
nicest place is in the country, I.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
Will ask you, does your source say.
Speaker 3 (16:43):
That podcast p is building a podcast studio and that's
got in that house as well. I'd got to take
up half half the place, right, Yeah, Well, he's investing
in this podcast exactly.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
Well, look, Gilbert Arenas has taken baton for these players
and showing you if you're going to do it, this
is what you need to do.
Speaker 2 (17:05):
And I will give give Gilbert credit in that front.
I hated him.
Speaker 1 (17:08):
I could not stand what was coming out of his
mouth and that whole podcast, and I just knew it,
Like I could see these podcasts get started and they
start to make little waves. And Gilbert Renas deserves all
the love in the world because of who he was
basketball college basketball player, one of the better better shooters,
you know, like all that, he knows stories and I
get he's entertaining, but the things that they were saying,
(17:29):
like last year year before in that podcast is like, oh.
Speaker 2 (17:31):
My god, this is gonna blow up, and it was
just so bad. It's just but it's just running a mill. Now.
Speaker 3 (17:37):
That's what I love about Jeff Tigue is he's hilarious
and he's a phenomenal storyteller, but he's not so outlandis
just saying crazy stuff with his takes, like Gilbert Renus
has just said some absurd thing. He's a great person
out he's funny now when I watch him, and now, yeah,
he's gonna get a deal with NBC when the goes
to NBC next year. But he just says the most
(17:57):
outlandish stuff, and that's what you have to do. And
I believe it was Marcus Morris who was on for
ESPN did like the ESPN Rap morning show rounds last week,
and he was saying I think he said, like you
were saying something about yo kids. I forgot exactly what
the content of what he was saying was. It was
so absurd, made no sense, just followed no reason to logic.
Speaker 2 (18:17):
That's what you gotta do. It's all shock Valley fat.
Speaker 3 (18:19):
Value producers love that if you say the most insane stuff,
you're going to get intention. And it's like guys like
Gilberina's for players like Marcus Morris, those guys are going
to get the attention and attention as eyeballs and eyeballs
as viewers and viewers as marketing deals. And we know
the cycle.
Speaker 1 (18:34):
All about engagement, baby, all about engagement, all right, anything else?
Speaker 2 (18:39):
I can't believe you're watching this NBA?
Speaker 3 (18:41):
Really, this West Race is wild? You want what can
I paint the picture for you?
Speaker 1 (18:46):
All right, you could paint the picture, but the basketball
that we're watching the close up shop, as far as
the season is concerned, is it good?
Speaker 3 (18:54):
I mean, look, half the teams have given up so
so and aren't even playing.
Speaker 1 (18:57):
They so yeah, Sam, when they get brought a full
board games. These spreads are all like not watching the
Utah Jazz. It's like come on, like like or the Nets.
What do you watching tonight?
Speaker 2 (19:09):
Watch?
Speaker 3 (19:10):
There's only two games tonight, huge slate tomorrow. But here's
the picture in the West. So the thunder of locked
In is one we know that's gonna sell the NBA
on April. Watch, watch and you'll be sold thunder one
in the West. Twelve and a half games over the Rockets.
That's done. Rockets are are four and a half games,
which is three and a half of the Lakers. The
Rockets are gonna be the two seat, which is really interesting.
(19:32):
Lakers are are the probably gonna be the three seed.
Now we have the Nuggets for Clippers, five Warriors, six Timberwolves,
seven Grizzlies, eight all separated by a half game. They
all have pretty much the same record. And there's a
scenario now where where the Nuggets could end up being
(19:52):
the seventh seed in the play it after last week.
Speaker 2 (19:55):
They were the or a couple of weeks ago they
were the two seed.
Speaker 3 (19:57):
And the Rockets have been red hot, making a great
rule and Nuggets have been without Jamal Murray.
Speaker 2 (20:01):
They've been struggling to drop the last four games.
Speaker 3 (20:03):
Now we have the Nuggets could be the seventh seed
because of how Jumbodee standings are so the Nuggets, Clippers, Warriors, Wolves,
and Grizzlies seats four to three.
Speaker 2 (20:12):
That's five teams separated by a half game.
Speaker 3 (20:14):
Every game for them is so important and how these
matchups shake out or is gonna determine who goes on
these playoff rounts like the If the Lakers and Warriors
play each other's a three to six, that is a
phenomenal first round series. You should want the seventh seed
in some way because the Rockets are probably one of
the easier first round matchups where the Clippers gonna landu Is.
Clippers have been red hot Kawhi lenders playing all star
(20:36):
level basketball. This middle of the West has been so
entertaining and it will be for the last month of
excuse me, last week of the season.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
Are you sold?
Speaker 1 (20:46):
No, get me to the playoffs and not play and
just get me to the playoffs. Sorry, We've watched enough
NBA basketball to know that, Like, all right, these are
the teams that are going to compete. I will say
you're right about the Nuggets. The Nuggets is very surprising
because nobody saw that. Warriors have my attention because now
we need to be looking at them and in a different manner.
(21:07):
I think that that they could potentially win at all, right,
I don't think it should be shocking now how much
different they look with Jimmy and what they've shown us.
Speaker 3 (21:14):
That if it does end up being Lakers Warriors in
a three to six, that first round series.
Speaker 2 (21:19):
Is gonna be incredible. I got that going seven games.
Speaker 3 (21:21):
But that's also likely a ticket to the Western Conference
Finals because you play the Rockets or maybe the Timberwolves
in that second round. You'd expect the Warriors or Lakers
both to be favored in those matchups. And then you're
looking at a Lakers or Warriors with a lot of
experience on both those teams gearing up against a thunder
in the Western Conference Finals.
Speaker 2 (21:40):
So that could be electric.
Speaker 1 (21:42):
Nuggets and Clippers face off tonight in the seven game series.
Speaker 2 (21:45):
Who you got.
Speaker 3 (21:49):
Jamal Murray's missed the last few games. He's been out
for a while. He should be back for the out
for a couple of weeks. He should be back for
the playoffs, right, He's the most important player for the Nuggets.
The Jokic has just been He's been the best player
in the league all season.
Speaker 2 (22:01):
He is no help.
Speaker 3 (22:02):
Christian Brown is taking a huge step, Aaron Gordon's still
doing his thing. Russell Westbrook's been bad the last few months.
It all comes down to Jamal Murray. So answer your question,
I'm gonna lean Nuggets in seven because they have the
best player in the series. Clippers defense is phenomenal. Kawhi
Leonard and James Harden are playing really well together. Their
synergy has been great. Kawhi Leonards back to playing at
all NBA level. Really, you could say his efficiency is
(22:25):
back up. He's getting to the free throw line. He
looks athletic again. It his drives. He's averaging twenty five
over the last month and a half. So he's been awesome.
That's a seven game series. To me, I would lean
Nuggets because of the best player in the series. But
Jamal Murray has to show up. He's the most important
player for the Nuggets, all right.
Speaker 1 (22:39):
And if the Lakers and Warriors playing all the seven
game series tonight, who you got now? They just played
and the Warriors beat him back on April third. It's
April seventh. They just played Warriors got the best of
LA in LA. Seven game series starts tonight. Who you
got you like pitching?
Speaker 3 (22:56):
That is making me think this Western Conference is gonna
be electric.
Speaker 1 (23:01):
And these are, oh, by the way, the if the
playoffs started today, these are the matchups.
Speaker 2 (23:05):
We would get.
Speaker 3 (23:06):
We're talking about the two most important players over the
last fifteen years in the NBA facing off in the
first round, which could be the last time these guys
ever play each other in a meaningful series like that.
Speaker 2 (23:16):
That's awesome. I would lean. I'm really just fill the
bust ring right now. I'm trying to feel like that.
I'm lean.
Speaker 3 (23:22):
I No, uh, who's the guy that did twenty five
hours on the second Sory book, Corey Booker?
Speaker 2 (23:26):
Yeah, I know, no, Corey Booker, I would lean. I
would lean. Lakers, all right, Warriors.
Speaker 3 (23:32):
Have been awesome with Jimmy Butler. I think Luca Austin
Reeves and who am I forgeting Lebron James. Obviously that
three is just too powerful. Lakers also, that would be
a good matchup for them because the Warriors and Lakers
would both go small against each other, so Lakers not
having a rim protecting big wouldn't really affect.
Speaker 2 (23:50):
Them, So I would go Lakers in seven in that.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
Lakers in seven s. Sam Austrey from the Score says,
all right, folks, let's get to the natty talk quick
time out. We'll come back on the other side, fire
up DraftKings sports book.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
Let's see if we can find a winning wager or two.
Speaker 1 (24:08):
In tonight's National Championship game between Houston and Florida. We'll
call it as a pick them, because I've seen a
lot of people go both ways on this one. A
lot of people like Houston, a lot of people like Florida.
Find out which way Sam is going on this one.
It's a great.
Speaker 2 (24:25):
Matchup on the Flooria.
Speaker 1 (24:26):
But of course Kelvin Samson versus Todd Golden has my
attention as well.
Speaker 2 (24:30):
A lot to discuss.
Speaker 1 (24:32):
Kelvin Sampson's sixty nine years old, Todd Golden thirty nine
college troops. Nothing better more daily ticket back after this
