to chase big dreams and build abold life.

Ilona (01:17):
Today's guest is here to talk about a subject I love law
of attraction and billboards andshe's no stranger to turning
vision into reality.
She's a fashion and lifestylepowerhouse, a red carpet
correspondent, a passionateadvocate for women and children,
and now she's manifesting herway into politics.

Mila (01:35):
Sonia Berg is here to talk about how she has built her
brand around beauty, purpose andintentional living.

Ilona (01:43):
Whether you're a manifestation skeptic or a
spiritual junkie, thisconversation will have you
rethinking what's possible whenyou align your energy with
action.
So let's get into it.

Sonya (01:55):
My name is Sonja Berg and I am known on TV as the Zen
Fashionista.
I love teaching the law ofattraction and teaching people
how to manifest, and I love toinspire people, and so I'm
really excited you guys invitedme today.

Ilona (02:11):
Thank you for being here and we're talking about laws of
attraction.
So Sonia and I met 17 years agoand then all of a sudden, mila
goes to an event, comes to theoffice and says hey, do you know
Sonia Berg?
I'm like, yeah, I know SoniaBerg.
And then a week later I go atan event and after 17 years,
sonia Berg is sitting at mytable.

Sonya (02:35):
So everything was just like interconnected
Synchronicities.
So you know everything's energy.
The reason why you start seeingsynchronicities is it's the
universe showing you that you'rein alignment.

Ilona (02:41):
And you know what else is cool?
When I met you I was like, hey,do you know John Assaraf?
Yeah, it was really cool.

Sonya (02:46):
I was at the Bay Club, I think it's called now.
I was on a bike and I wasreading this book that nobody
knows.
It's like something mychiropractor turned me on to.
It's called the Rays of theDawn, but it's just a really
positive, uplifting book.
And he gets on the and he goes,oh, that's an oldie but a
goodie.
I go, what this book?
And he goes, yeah, I go, how doyou know about this book?
He goes, oh, I'm an author.
I go, you are.

(03:07):
And he was like, yeah, you knowwhat's your address, I'll mail
you some books.
And I'm like, okay, I guess hedoesn't seem weird, very
faithful, but I was open tomeeting people.

(03:31):
And then I read these books andI'm like, oh my God, this guy.
And the next thing, I know he'sdoing the Secret.
And we became good friends.
And then I invited him on TV todo a segment with me, because a
little bit later down the road, because I started doing the Law
of Attraction on TV and he cameas a guest and it was like blow
up for KUSI that I brought JohnAssaraf on.

Ilona (03:53):
Well let me add to that.
So after you and I have thisconversation, you tell me a
story about your little bikeride and the book.
We're having a podcast here andwe're shooting and all of a
sudden the owner of the studiotells us that they're going to
be shooting secret sequel withJohn Assaraf.
And I'm like, oh my God, here, yes.
And Rhonda Burns, who?

Sonya (04:14):
wrote the Secret.
Yeah, I love synchronicity.

Ilona (04:18):
How did you first get introduced to Laws of Attraction
?

Sonya (04:21):
I taught it on TV for like 14 years.
Did you have a show?
So I was on.
I've been on ABC, nbc, cbs, kusi.
I was on KUSI a lot.
I really liked it because itwas a local news, it wasn't
mainstream media and they werevery open and they eventually it
was kind of worked into my ownsegment that I got to produce

(04:41):
and I would just send them thenotes every weekend and tell
them this is what I want to do.
And they wanted me to dospecial fashion segments and
then I eventually wanted to dothings that were healthy and
taught people how to make youknow green smoothies and I
slowly started bringing in thelaw of attraction and they loved
it at KUSI.

Ilona (04:56):
They should teach that in school.
Like I, think that the way thatthe child's mindset and growth
is going to be impacted If theyknow these secrets.
It's going to make a hugedifference in their lives.
This is like one of the biggestthings.

Sonya (05:08):
So I taught it at the grade school.
I would teach them yoga andthen at the end I teach them
visualization and they wouldbring me into the sports games.
And as soon as I they're likeoh yay, sonia's here, and I'd go
over and start talking to themand have them visualizing.
The kids would get so excited.
They should be like oh, they'reso excited that you're coming
this week.
I would just really calm themdown and get them in that

(05:28):
centered place.
I teach them how to visualizeand I talk to them about their
grades and da-da-da-da, you know, see yourself making A's and
know you can do it.
And see yourself, if it's asport, see yourself, you know,
hitting a home run or making atouchdown.
And the teacher said I don'tknow what you're doing, but

(05:51):
their grades are going up.
And then during the holidaysI'd come in and I teach them how
to make vision boards.
And then they'd come and they'dsay oh, miss Sonia, look, I
asked for this for Christmas andthey'd have all these things.
And all this stuff happened forthem, because kids don't have
these blocks.
They haven't been trained thatyou can't do this or you're not
good enough.
You know, they're so young andthey're so malleable that they
can learn these things, that weteach them.
And I totally agree with you IfI was in the education

(06:13):
department.

Ilona (06:14):
I think let's add that let's have a program going.

Sonya (06:16):
Exactly.

Ilona (06:17):
That's what I want to do eventually, when I have the
freedom to just do whatever thehell I want.
I freedom to just do whateverthe hell I want.
I want to make.
I want to go and teach childrenand young adults, teenagers,
this all over the world so theycan think big and change their
lives for good.

Sonya (06:31):
And this also I know you guys want to talk a little bit
about me running for publicoffice, and it really has
nothing to do with the fact thatI'm spiritual or, you know,
whatever my political party is,or anything like that.
I think a strong leader issomeone who leads from the heart
to do politics because you lovethe people.
And I am a strong leader, nomatter what position I run for

(06:55):
this year, because a few thingsmight change for me.
I'm still kind of weighing itout.
I'm going to a political thingthis evening and I'll kind of
weigh out the people that arerunning for governor and who if
I think I can, definitely if Ifeel like this person that's
kind of the presumed candidateis really good what I've read
about him.
I'm going to listen to him speaktonight and there's another
office available, which isinsurance commissioner, and I

(07:18):
have tons of experience ininsurance.
I was a safety engineer rightout of college.
I got an engineering degree andthen I went out and became a
safety engineer for an insurancecompany.
So we need people that aren'tpoliticians, that actually just
have a heart.
I love this state and I loveour people and I care what
happens to them.

Mila (07:36):
So, based on your experience and knowledge, what
are the biggest misconceptionsthat people have with respect to
manifestation?

Sonya (07:44):
Well, I think a lot of people think, oh, you think you
can just think about it and thenit's going to happen, and that
it's just like instant.
No, it's not.
You have to stay focused.
You have to know what you wantfirst.
So that's why I teach a lot ofpeople to journal.
You can write down positiveaspects.

Ilona (08:01):
Do you do affirmations?
Yeah yeah.
Yesterday I took, I boughtmyself a couple of markers and I
wrote them on my bathroommirror and I think it's good,
because then when you lookyourself at night or in the
morning, you'll repeat them, ifit's in front of your face with
a dry erase marker.

Sonya (08:16):
So affirmation, these are all things you can do in your
journal too, but you have to getclear when you're manifesting
first, what do I really want?
What do I want in my career?
What do I want in myrelationship with my kids and my
husband?
And I started writing downpositive aspects whenever I'd
have problems with my kids.
And it is so crazy.
So I was like, oh my God, Ican't stand the music.
You guys just they're playingthis really loud music and I'm

(08:38):
all back in my space with tryingto zen and meditate.
And because I just needed thatquiet time to get centered, and
okay, I got to lead the familytoday with love and abundance.
And then I go wait, I need towrite down my positive aspects.
What do I love about my children?
Oh, my God, I love when I'mcooking dinner with Mason.

(08:59):
We have because he still does,he loves cooking shows, he loves
to cook.
We used to have so much funcooking together.
I started writing down I lovehow we cook together.
I love how much fun he is.
He always makes me laugh.
He's really funny little.
I swear to God.
That night he comes walkingdown.
I go, what are you doing?
He goes.
I'm coming down to cook dinnerwith you.
I'm like Like I got goosebumps.

(09:20):
I was like that's freaky.
That's freaky how quick you canchange a person just by your
thoughts, and my frequency wasattracting to him.
I just have to remind myself, too, that, oh my God, don't get
irritated with somebody.
Write down positive aspectsabout people.

Mila (09:37):
And that would be my question to you is I think that,
like I believe in manifestation, a lot of times I get so caught
up in the day to day, yeah, andin the moment to moment, and
like I get overwhelmed, I getfrustrated and it's hard for me
to be like, hey, mila, take astep back A good time to do it.

Ilona (09:54):
When I do, it is when I drive.
Last week I was driving.
I'm like I'm going to turn offmy radio, I'm going to turn off
my audio book and for a momentbecause I don't have time to
meditate at home, because I'malways on a run this is my time
in a car, just me myself and I.
So I just started, you know, being grateful and speaking out
loud for all the things that I'mgrateful for and saying thank

(10:16):
you to the universe, thank youfor my home, thank you for my
children, thank you for where Ilive, thank you for where I live
, thank you, they're my ownbusiness.
And then, just like flows andyou feel it from deep inside.
You really feel the gratitudefrom deep inside and like
there's a long list and thewhole drive.
I was just talking to myselfand you know being grateful.

Sonya (10:33):
People were looking at you, but you were manifesting.

Mila (10:37):
Are you a certified yoga?

Sonya (10:38):
instructor, I'm certified a lot.

Mila (10:40):
You want to know what all I'm certified in.

Sonya (10:48):
Okay, let's see.
I'm a certified womb healer.
I'm a certified rebirther.
I'm a certified sexualde-armorer.
I'm a certified ancestralhealer.
I'm certified master in Reikihealing.

Mila (10:55):
I'm certified in feng shui , that's what I need is Reiki
healing.
I don't tell a lot of people.

Sonya (11:01):
but I do work on people but it's a lot.
You know, like when you're anempath, when you've been through
difficult stuff, you can seestuff and I don't want to walk
around seeing what's wrong withpeople.
So I kind of have an agreementwith my higher self that I'm not
going to unless I want to.

Ilona (11:15):
Now were you able to have that sixth sense and you know,
be able to see people's hoursand feel their energies, before
any experiences have changedyour life.
Like were you born with it?
Yeah, did your grandparentshave it.

Sonya (11:27):
We all have it, I agree.
I think I shut it down when Iwas a little girl because I tell
people stuff and they're likehow did you know that?

Ilona (11:34):
You know, when I was young, when I was a teenager, I
used to be really into books bySylvia Brown.
She was on the MarshallWilliams show.
Yes, I love her.
I read all her books and hervision of what the other
frequency in the world is about, and about angel guardian angels
and all that stuff, and I thinkit was an interesting
perspective.

Sonya (11:54):
I think I spend a lot of time alone, and so I'm much more
intuitive now, and so I'm verymore particular about the people
I'm around.

Ilona (12:00):
One of the people that works at our firm.
She, I think, is spiritual, like that and is well connected
to the you know source of theuniverse.
She gave me a call a couple ofdays ago.
She's like, hey, I had a dreamabout you.
Everything will be okay.
No, but she said she had astrong.
She saw something in her dream.
Like is it bad?
She's like I just want to tellher everything will be okay.
And next day, which wasyesterday and the day before, I

(12:24):
was very stressed out becauseyou know, my dad is having a
health issue right now and Idon't know if it's going to be
cancer or not.
She called me a day before andthe next day, like I felt what
she sensed, like everything willbe okay.
So I believe everything will beokay.
I started getting clarity and aclear feeling about it and I'm
going to stay positive.

Sonya (12:42):
And help your father to also.
We can help to heal the worldjust by being us and being full
of love and light.
Light heals everything thishigh frequency energy that's all
around us.
Your dad can pull that in.
Anybody can.
If they're struggling withsomething, all they have to do
is pull in light.
I teach people how to do itthemselves, basically.

Ilona (13:01):
Running the state of California will be a piece of
cake for you.

Sonya (13:06):
People would just realize they're creators.

Ilona (13:08):
We forgot, and I just don't get scared, trust the
universe, yeah.

Sonya (13:12):
Because I know there's whatever's meant to be is going
to be anyway.
Everything's in divine orderand it just makes me so.
I'm not in a place of fear.

Ilona (13:21):
So how did you get into making your own vision boards?

Sonya (13:23):
It just makes me so I'm not in a place of fear.
So how did you get into makingyour own vision boards?
Let's see, I found it to be avery powerful tool.
I started like deciding how Iwanted, what I wanted to create
every year.

Ilona (13:33):
But what gave you an idea to do it Like I saw it in the
Seeker the movie?
And then my girlfriendsuggested we have a dream board
party, and that's the firstdream board I've ever made.

Sonya (13:45):
I probably had it before I started doing TV segments, but
I got really into it when Istarted teaching it on TV
because I really wanted to teachit right.
And so this is my old visionboard.
I've got to do a new one.
So I'll pull out a picture of amagazine that just makes my
heart sing, that makes me happy.
I go, oh, that looks fun.
Oh, I want to do that, likeeven over here with my yoga

(14:05):
poses.
I think I've mastered almostevery yoga pose here, but I put
them on here.
What I recommend to people whenthey're creating a vision board
is just to put on some nicemusic and just pull out a ton of
different magazines.
If you want to do travel areaof your board, this is my sports
area, this was my dream houseand, funny enough, that used to

(14:28):
say I don't know where that went, but it said equestrian estate.
And guess what I got?

Ilona (14:31):
Top 10 American billionaire fashion designers,
bloggers.

Sonya (14:35):
That's coming 10 hundred plus wonderful entrepreneurs.

Ilona (14:39):
Believe in yourself.
Never give up.
I love the one that says I'mgoing to make the rest of my
life.

Sonya (14:44):
I did my first fashion film before I bought my ranch,
before I manifested that what isit called?
It's called Pearl and we wonawards all over the world.
I mean, like it was amazing,Don't judge.
If you see a picture that youlove when you're with travel,
don't go.
Okay, do I really want to gothere?
Where is that?

(15:04):
Just pull it out, Start a pileof stuff and then start your
little areas.
It's really quick.

Ilona (15:07):
When did you make this dream board?
How long ago?

Sonya (15:09):
Oh gosh, this one's old.

Ilona (15:10):
Can you?

Sonya (15:10):
tell I've manifested almost everything on here.
Like I looked at it, I'm likeoh my God, I can't believe I
really used to think I neededthat or I wanted that, because I
really am pretty good right now.
I got to find new things to bepassionate about because I feel
like that keeps us young.

Ilona (15:28):
This is mine, that I did.

Sonya (15:30):
Ours looks a little bit the same right.

Ilona (15:32):
I have another one that was more recent.

Sonya (15:33):
I like saw your love thing on there and that's oh my.

Ilona (15:36):
God, that's before I had kids.
I wanted to have babies, sofeel free to live your dreams.
I wanted to find the love andlike to have the sort of
connection.
I wanted to travel.
I wanted, you know, to be ableto go in private jets.
At that time I was looking fora love and a relationship.
So you see a lot of that, yeah.
And then I wrote I can be andwill have anything I want now,

(15:56):
because I want everything now.
I love it.
My goal obviously was to meetthe right dude, so everything
was about love at the time.
Everybody says that I wear pinkglasses or I see everything
through pink lens.

Sonya (16:08):
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
So I drew my pink glasses,rose-colored glasses,
rose-colored glasses.
Yeah, yeah, me too.
So.

Ilona (16:11):
I drew them on my dream board because I'm not going to
change in that regard.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I put cool cars and I wanted toget married, but that happened.
I wanted to have kids.
This I added in a staple to mydream board because I had one
baby on there and then, after Igot married, my marriage didn't
work out.

(16:32):
The priest went to Jerusalemand he brought this back to me
and said I know you recently gotmarried, so I want you to have
more kids and I prayed for you.
So he gave me this pomegranateand I mean eventually let's see
how many are here this actuallyhas five little pomegranates
inside and I have five kids now,so there you go.

Sonya (16:48):
Oh my God, how do?

Ilona (16:50):
you reject negative thoughts that enter your mind.

Sonya (16:54):
So, first of all, what you're saying negative thoughts
would be like your subconscious, maybe your trauma that comes up
from things that have happenedto you in the past.
What I've noticed this is isit's subconscious trauma that's
happened to you in the past andit's just an automatic thing
where I know I'm supposed tostop that thought process.
It's not helping me.
I'm only going to allow myselfto think about the things I want
more of and then I switch thatthought.

(17:15):
For what do you really want, sonia?
Don't think about how this isgoing to unfold or what could
unfold, because then when you'rethinking a thought, then you're
going to create more of that.

Ilona (17:25):
Yeah, dwelling on a negative creates more negative
energy.
Dalai Lama's first thing on hisA to Z's of life is avoid
negative people and avoidnegative places.
And you know you can sometimesavoid them.
Sometimes you give people achance, but when you see it
starts to impact your energy, they're like energy vampires and
they're just never happy.
It's not good because itimpacts you and your mindset and

(17:48):
even though you're maybe strongenough to shut it off because
you're self-aware, it stillsucks a little bit of your
positivity.

Mila (17:54):
I used to be in a place where I would meet these
negative people and they woulddrain my energy and I'd be like
maybe I can help them.
Be positive in trying toinspire them.
But you can't save anyone andpeople have to want to be saved,
want to be better.
People vastly underestimatetheir own power in controlling
their life and their mood andthe long-term outcome of

(18:17):
whatever it is they face, andyou can't change that in their
minds.
It has to click by itself.

Ilona (18:24):
I think it's good to try.
You know you want to helppeople.
Tell them the message, see ifthey're accepting and it will
register with them.
But if they don't want to do it, there's nothing you can do and
just have to give up.

Mila (18:38):
People are negative.
I'm like I just don't wantanything to do with that.
I don't have the energy for it.
Because I also found for me theenergy that I spend on that is
energy I take away from my kidsLike there is energy that I need
to spend.
We fight for a living all day, like negativity is hitting us
and we have to fight that off.

Sonya (18:58):
When you're on an airplane they say, put on your
mask first and then put yourchildren's mask.
Like you can't help anybodyunless you're whole and complete
in yourself.
So saving people is not helpingthem and it's not helping you.
One of my favorite groups thatI ever worked with was the
Special Olympics, and it wasvery last minute and I was
slammed at the time, but I tookit on.

(19:19):
It was the most rewardingexperience of my life.
I had 300 kids from Brunei, bulgaria and Uganda.
They had intellectual anddevelopmental disabilities.
Thank you, that's the word Iwas looking for.
Oh my God, they were amazing.
I got along so good with them.
I'm like at the end of the weekI was like or maybe it was like

(19:40):
in the beginning of the weekbecause I had them for a week.
300 kids Couldn't them.
For a week, 300 kids couldn'ttalk.
Really, they didn't really talk.
We just communicated throughsmiles and fun and they were so
much fun Because when I have fun, I have fun.
I let my hair down.
I don't care what anybodythinks, I'm just like that, I'm
just a free spirit.
I'm not hurting anyone becauseI want to dance and I want to
have fun and I'm not obnoxious,I'm just loving life.

(20:04):
But these kids were so much funand so much like me.
We were just silly.
We went to the zoo and we werelike boo, you know, like we're
doing stupid stuff, and they allstill keep in touch with me.
It was the most amazingexperience and I finally
realized these kids are here toteach us something.
They have zero ego.
That's why I loved them.
They were so authentic and itwas so rewarding, because they

(20:31):
made me happy and I made themhappy.

Ilona (20:34):
What advice do you have for people who, for example,
there are women who are indomestic violence relationships
that are codependent and thentheir support system just tells
them it's their fault.
They should stick through this, they're doing something wrong,
instead of telling them to leavethat relationship and it could

(20:55):
be because of cultural beliefs, could be because saving the
marriage is important, orwhatever other issues.

Sonya (21:01):
What advice do you have for those people who are stuck
the people that really matterare the people who have an equal
exchange of energy with me.
I give and I'm a great loyalfriend and person and I want
those kinds of energy with me.
I give and I'm a great loyalfriend and person and I want
those kind of people around me.

Ilona (21:14):
I guess some people are stuck with negative people and
negative influences within theirfamily and that's your closest
circle and they may not have alot of friends, so then it's
hard for them to get out of atoxic relationship.
If your gut tells you this isnot right, I should not be
treated like that, then findpeople that will be supportive,
that will see your side right,so that you have enough support

(21:37):
to make it through.
And the reason I thought ofthat is because I recently had a
consultation with this womanthat still is in my mind, and
she was in a situation where shehad zero support from any of
her family members, includingparents, to leave a domestically
violent relationship where shehas a small child, and it was

(22:00):
hard for her to make a decisionto leave the father she wanted
to be back with him.
Just because her family issaying it's your fault or
nothing was her fault.
She barely even stood up forherself.

Sonya (22:12):
We're all here to be happy.
I think we all came here tolearn how to be happy and have
joy and have an amazing life.

Mila (22:21):
I feel like a lot of people read books and listen to
podcasts, but until you executeand put those things into play
in your life, it doesn't reallyhave any value.
So what advice would you giveto people to not only read about
these things and learn aboutthese things whether it's
manifestation or betteringyourself all around but how to

(22:43):
execute and make sure that thelessons you learn that make
sense for you are incorporatedinto your life?

Sonya (22:51):
Well, I think journaling is a really good way to start
writing down.
Just decide Same thing withlike, with a vision board what
areas of your life you want toachieve something or create
something or make somethingdifferent, and then just start
writing out how you're going tomake it different and all the
positive aspects, either about arelationship, if there's

(23:12):
anything that ever comes up.
It's so funny because I'veworked through so much just
through this, but then it justkeeps reminding me where I feel
triggered by something and thenI have to write down what I'm
triggered by, what I can do tochange it, what I want to do
with my life.

Mila (23:30):
How do you stay inspired to continue journaling and doing
all of the routines that you dothat help you?

Sonya (23:40):
If I don't, I start to lose my passion for life.

Ilona (23:46):
I think people generally crave doing that when they have
some sort of problem, whenthey're seeking answers, when
you're sort of at your lowmoment.
Sometimes that's when you getinspired to seek help and seek
answers and to do that.
It helps to put things on paperand reflect back and find
solutions and write them out ingreat detail and then revisit it

(24:09):
and see, okay, what can Ichange?
Did I accomplish this?
And go back to it periodically, like throughout the year.

Sonya (24:15):
If I want a certain outcome, you have to believe and
know that you're worthy andknow that you can.

Mila (24:26):
It's interesting because when you and I met we were
sitting at the same table at anevent and we kind of connected.
I think you connected with mydaughter first, yeah, and then
she had your energy, yeah, and Iwas like, oh, I love my kids
were just like running wild andI'm just like standing around
not knowing which one to chase.

Sonya (24:41):
And then we locked eyes and we immediately connected and
one of the first things thatyou told me it was like the same
frequency, it was, and then Imet connected with her again.
It was, and then I metconnected with her again.

Mila (24:50):
I'm like oh my God, her too.

Sonya (24:51):
And I'm like, oh my God, I got two new best friends.
So funny.

Mila (24:53):
And then we connected on Facebook and we've just been
like friends ever since, and Ilove all your posts Even though
we haven't really seen eachother that much, I feel like we
know each other Like sisters orsomething.

Sonya (25:01):
Yeah, from a past life.

Mila (25:12):
But one of the things that really, and you grow your own
produce.
I'm really big on likenutrition and fitness and I
actually grew up overweight, believe it or not, and when you
know I had to learn nutrition ata later age.
I grew up eating processedfoods like most people in this
country and I was overweight, and now I cook everything from
scratch.

Sonya (25:27):
I know I watch your posts .

Mila (25:28):
Yeah, and like clean food is really really important.
And so I want to ask you aboutthat kind of how you manifested
the ranch, how you decided togrow your own crops.
How do I buy some from you?

Sonya (25:42):
Well, you're going to help me.
We're going to start acommunity garden, okay, I would
love that I have so muchproperty and I just want to use
it.
I started looking for houses.
There was really nothingbecause people were taking their
house off the market because Ithought it was a bad time to
sell.
And my horse got hurt out inthe desert and I'm like I need
to find a horse property.
I need to bring my horses backhere.

(26:03):
I can't be going out to thedesert.
She got hurt.
And then I got on Redfin.
The place wasn't listed.
I don't even know how I foundit, because people go, how'd you
get that house?
It wasn't even listed and itpops up and I'm like, oh my God,
this is my house.
So I got to see it first and Ididn't even know I had a guest
house.
I saw that the barn wasbeautiful and my horses were

(26:28):
going to be like royalty, because it's actually the barn
that the Queen of England has.
And then I'm walking on theproperty and, oh my God, I go, I
get a guest house too and I'mlike, okay, numbers, I'm doing
the numbers if I decide to rentthat.
And then I have an extra barnif I decide to rent.
I was being practical.
I wasn't being like a pie inthe sky, like, oh, I can do this
, because it's hard when you gofrom.
I was living in Carmel Valley, really nice, like okay.
Well, then that's thedifference.

(26:51):
Okay, well, she wants to closein 30 days and it has to be cash
.
And I'm like, oh my God, soI've got to sell my Carmel
Valley house while I'm buyingthis house.
Okay, I can do it, I know it'sgoing to work out.
So I'm journaling, journalingevery day.
I'm locking the door.
I'm journaling a lot in money.
But my timing when everybody'sin fear.
I've made so much money on thatproperty because I had the

(27:17):
courage.
Everybody else was buying gunsand I call my bankers.
I'm like, hey, we gotta shufflesome money around.
They go, what are you doing?
Buying guns like everybody else, and I'm like, oh hell, no, I
go.
You guys know I'm not like thatbecause I'm always telling them
this is going to work out.
So I meet this guy who has neversold a house before and he goes
do you know, bob Proctor?
Because I try to tell him youknow, I need to manifest the
right buyer.
I want someone that has as manygreat.

(27:40):
I love that house.
I made so many.
That house carried me through somuch of my life and these big
things I did in the public eyeand I wanted someone that wanted
to have that same energy, because that house was such a
foundation for me and justcarried me through a lot of
stuff, you know.
And so he sends me my firstthing, he sends me this.

(28:01):
He goes okay, sonia, here it is, here's the thing, the listing,
okay, here it is.
This says Caesar, he's doingreally well now.
And I'm like, oh, no, no, no,cesar, that's not what I want to
see.
He goes what do you want to see?
I said make another one justfor me.
That says just sold.
And he goes oh, and I call him.

(28:22):
I go OK, cesar, this weekend itwas only two weeks on the
market I go this weekend we'regoing to be someone that's going
to love this house like crazy.
They're going to have so muchfun.
It's going to be a perfecthouse for them.
It's going to be everythingthey want.
He's like okay, yeah, yeah,yeah.
Then he calls me and goes Sonia, I got two offers.
I go yeah, you do.
Boom, the deal closed.
You know like sometimes youhave to have enough faith sold

(28:49):
that house for the most that ahouse had sold in Carmel Valley
and I bought my dream house andthat took so much courage.

Ilona (28:57):
Were you able to talk this lady into giving you a loan
, or she still stuck to her?

Sonya (29:03):
terms.
I closed in 30 days, and so Igot a recoup loan locked in at
2.15 for 30 years.

Ilona (29:09):
That's amazing.

Sonya (29:10):
And I just had faith, faith, faith, faith, faith.
So have faith in the marketeverybody.

Mila (29:14):
Thank you so much for being here.
It was an absolute privilege tohave you.
You really are the woman whodoes it all.
I mean fashionista politics,yogi.
The clothing line is coming outsoon, a clothing line.
We're going to start our garden.
I could probably help you withthe clothing line too.
Oh really, I'm your girl, anything you need.
You're really like a modern dayfemale renaissance man.
