We're back with our mock draft series, turning our attention to the Denver Broncos who overachieved last season under Sean Payton with Bo Nix at quarterback. The Broncos have already made some moves in free agency, including bringing in Evan Ingram, Dre Greenlaw, and Talanoa Hufanga, but still have several roster needs to address.

• Denver's defense already looks improved with additions from San Francisco, but needed D-line help to pressure division quarterbacks
• Bo Nix showed promise last season and these draft picks give him additional weapons to continue his development

Let us know what you think about these picks for the Denver Broncos! Hit us up on all our social media platforms, and while you're there, please like, share, and subscribe to our YouTube channel.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
welcome back to t3.
I'm your host, mr you, and ofcourse we are in mock draft
season to T3.
I'm your host, mr U, and ofcourse we are in mock draft
season getting pretty close tothe month of April.
And of course, if you were notaware, our show T3, is live
every Thursday night, 7 pm.
We also have a new, brand newAll Giants podcast, the Big Blue

(00:39):
Lifers.
You can find us Friday nightsat 9 pm, live streaming on your
social media platforms.
We're doing our mock draftsagain and the Denver Broncos is
up next.
We have a lot, well, a good bitof news here.
They really overachieved lastyear and in 70, we're third in
the division, because of theChiefs and the Chargers, of

(01:00):
course, but they definitelyoverachieved.
They outshot their coverage, tosay the least.
The Sean Payton experiment isgoing really well.
I think his influence isrubbing off on this team and the
play of Bo Nix, who is somebodywho I had my eye on in the
draft last year.
I definitely was hoping to seehim on our team but that didn't
work out for us.
But he's doing a fantastic jobin Denverver and these guys are

(01:25):
playing.
They got some needs on offenseand a little bit on defense as
well they're trying to resolve.
I'm going to try to help themget that fixed as well.
So we're going to jump in andsee if we can help them out
there.
Uh, they brought in evan ingram, uh, out of jacksonville and
out of new york, uh, before that, and giving nicks, uh, some

(01:45):
help on the offense.
He could use that withoutquestion.
So pretty excited about seeinghow that turns out for him.
Let's see how we can help thisteam out.
All right.
All right, here we go.
Here we go, all right.
So I think, as far as needs go,they're stating running back,
wide receiver and D-line, but ofcourse they also mentioned the

(02:09):
tight end which I just mentioned, and they may have resolved
that with Evan Ingram We'll see.
And also at linebacker.
Yeah, I'm not going to take anyof these deals.
I want to stay at 20 herebecause a couple of guys got my
eye on.
I don't want to lose them, sowe're not going to do what's
being suggested.
So let's see what they'retalking about here.

(02:29):
At running back, I know thatthey got rid of giovante waiting
.
They were their top uh rusherand they let him go.
Uh, they have a top 10 defense.
So some of the guys thatthey're bringing in potentially
only going to help them getbetter.
So several needs there, but Ireally I really liked the uh,

(02:50):
omarian hampton opportunity hereviolent runner, which is
definitely what you want indenver.
5, 11, 2, 21.
Uh, he's a power back and Ithink if you mix him, you mix
him in with what they have withJalil McLaughlin, which I'm not
quite sure if he's going to bethe number one if Hampton comes

(03:12):
over, I think that Hampton isgoing to be the kind of guy that
you can't pass up in this draftand I doubt very highly Denver
will.
I'm going to help him out.
He's definitely an RB1 in thissituation.
So we're going to go ahead andadd Hampton to the denver
broncos, all right.
So we got that soft squaredaway.
We're going to stay out ofrunning back for the rest of
this draft.
Um, you know we're going toreject that trade as well.

(03:32):
Uh, so right now we have twomore picks at 51 and 85.
Let's look at what they got atwide receiver now I like
courtland starting to be thenumber one.
I think it's going well.
Him and Nick definitely have aconnection.
Marvin Mims Jr is that guy.
You just got to keep your eyeon because he'll get past you
and before you know it he's inthe end zone.
They brought in Troy Franklinfrom Oregon last year and he is

(03:54):
definitely developing.
As the season went on, you'veseen him get a lot better and
better, which is good.
Devon Ville is a name that he'snot on your fantasy list, but
maybe he should be because hegot a lot of play last year.
I think they still want somehelp at wide receiver.
I think that we can help himout there and kind of stack that
room.
I think what they want to do isgive Nick as many weapons as

(04:16):
possible and help him to be moreeffective in the offense.
You can't be mad at that.
I like Alec Ayamanoa and all thetools.
Tall receiver, 6'1", 206.
Really good speed as well.
I mean.
He's hard to bring down, whichis good.
He is maybe not the mostpolished route running-wise, but

(04:37):
he's definitely explosive.
He's definitely the kind of guythat will help out Bo Nix in
that offense.
Let's go ahead and bring him in.
We're going to bring in AyaMinoa and his last pick.
We're going to go ahead and looktoward defense to try to help
his team out.
They need help at linebackerand cornerback and on the D-line
and cornerback and on theD-line they brought in Dre

(05:02):
Greenlaw and Talanoa Hufengafrom the Niners.
I think that's going to helpout a lot with the D-line and
the safety situation, becausethese guys are very good and the
only reason why the Niners letthem go was because of their
financial issues.
Other than that, they'dprobably still be on the Niners.
So I think these guys are good.
Kofanga has had some injuryissues in San Francisco, but

(05:22):
we'll see if we can get pastthose here in Denver.
So I'm going to go ahead andlook past the D-line.
Well, I'm looking toward theD-line right now.
We're going to ignorelinebackers.
It's been kind of covered andsafety has been taken care of as
well.
So so I'm looking at eithercornerback.
Right now they have Pat Sertain, who's definitely the
cornerback one.
There's no question about that.
He got it.

(05:43):
He got Riley Moss backing himup.
He's developing, so that's good.
So I don't want to mess withcornerback or linebacker.
I want to try to get some D-linehelp here, because they're
playing in a divisionspecifically with stud
quarterbacks in it.
Gino just got added to theRaiders, so he's going to
definitely be somebody who youwant to definitely pressure in
the pocket.
So I'm going to look atsomebody that can help them out

(06:05):
as far as producing a pass rush.
I like Jared I guess he's namedbefore.
He is somebody who could standto be more efficient when it
comes to against the run, butit's a tough decision there.

(06:25):
All right, because of what theyhave at tackle, I think this is
going to be a good move here.
I'm going to go ahead and takeShamar Turner here, versatile
lineman.
I mean he got the stuff man.
He's a big power guy.

(06:46):
He got stuff to run.
So I like what we're doing here.
I think Deming gets help withthis mock draft.
Omari and Hampton out of NorthCarolina, running back with the
first pick.
Iyama Noah out of Stanford Tall, wide receiver, decent route
runner, definitely getting those50-50s Hard to bring down.
Nice frame speed.

(07:06):
I like him.
Jamal Turner he's a disruptivepass rusher.
I mean he's going to be kind ofthat guy.
Great motor, you know he's anintense player and on his
defense, with the names thatI've seen in their depth chart,
I think he's going to stand outand more than likely he's going
to go ahead and probably takeover.
He had that kind of ability.
But let's see.
What do you think about thedenver broncos draft?
