After a brief hiatus, we return with a three-round mock draft for the Buffalo Bills, focusing on their primary needs in the secondary and trenches to overcome their playoff nemesis, the Kansas City Chiefs.

• Buffalo's defense ranked 24th against the pass last season with opponents targeting them 72% of the time
• Philadelphia Eagles provided the blueprint: big bodies on both sides of the line to disrupt elite offenses
• First-round pick: Josh Simmons, OT from Ohio State (6'5", 317 lbs) to provide immediate protection for Josh Allen
• Second-round pick: JT Tuimoloau, edge rusher from Ohio State to generate consistent pressure on opposing QBs
• Third-round pick: Denzel Burke, cornerback from Ohio State to strengthen Buffalo's vulnerable secondary
• All three selections coincidentally come from Ohio State but address Buffalo's most critical needs
• Our live NFL Draft special will begin around 7:45 PM on April 24th

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Welcome back to T3, that Thursday thing.
It's not on Thursday.
I'm your host, mr U, excited tobe back with you guys.
It's been a little bit of abreak, been a little bit under
the weather, but glad to be backwith you guys and getting back
on track for our goal to knockout drafts for every one of the
32 teams before the first roundof the draft and our T3,

(00:43):
hopefully first annual livedraft special should start
around 7, 50, 7, 45.
First night of the draft onapril 24th.
Today we're going to be doingthe buffalo bills.
We're going to do three roundshere.
Uh, it's pretty clear whatthey're needing.
Uh, they had, uh, an excellentone last year.

(01:03):
I I think their primary needsare at secondary cornerback
safety, I believe as wellInterior O-line help.
There they brought in Joey Bosa, formerly of the Chargers, to
kind of pair up alongside GregRusso to kind of bolster that
defense.
We'll see how it goes.
There were definitely somechallenges there.

(01:26):
They were the 24th rankeddefense in the past game.
I think 72%, I know 72% of thetargets that their opponents had
were against them, so theirdefense was essentially a sieve.
They got rid of Von Miller, which I think was a big part of
the problem there, but not to beall.

(01:48):
In the end all there's a lot ofstuff going on that they need
to have some help with.
Athletically they used a lot ofhelp.
My personal opinion, before weget into this mock draft, is
that the Philadelphia Eagleskind of set the blueprint you
need big bodies on both sides ofthe line in the trenches.
Kind of set the blueprint youneed big bodies on both sides of
the line in the trenches.
If you can find them, that's aluxury because that was ideally

(02:11):
the undoing of the Kansas CityChiefs and the Bills got to go
through the Chiefs every year inorder to get to the Super Bowl.
So we're going to go ahead andjump into our mock draft.
We're going for the BuffaloBills today, three rounds, and
we're looking for cornerbackhelp, safety help perhaps and
some line help.
I think I picked a slow pacefor this one.

(02:38):
My apologies on the way tospeed here, but I really believe
there's some good cornerbackhelp here in this first round,
because that's definitely whatthey need.
There's some linebacker helphere, some line help.
We can get on the O-line tohelp Josh Allen out, also in the
first round.

(02:59):
All right, we're not takingthis trade.
We're going to go ahead andtake help here.
Some of these draft ideas are soridiculous.
Oh, I love that Egbuka's here.
That's not one of their draftneeds, but right now Khalil
Shakur is their.
Shakira is their number one.
They just paid him a nicelittle four-year contract.

(03:20):
Unfortunately, I'm just notfeeling him as the number one
wide receiver.
So I'm really tempted to helpthem out with Ed Booker here.
I think when it comes to lineguys offensive tackle I really
like Josh Simmons here.
I'm kind of tempted to go hereand help this particular team

(03:41):
out.
I think we're going to takeJosh Simmons here, big body guy
out of Ohio State.
He will help out Josh Allenalmost immediately.
I like his.
I mean, I don't like anybodyfrom Ohio State but to be honest
, he's really a solid player.
Josh Allen would definitely beable to use his assistance here,

(04:05):
so to speak.
I think people call him aboomer bust, but I like his
technique.
I think he's strong up front,nice size at 6'5", 3'17".
I mean.
He got bursts.
He's explosive.
He doesn't have to really reachfor rushes, he just powers his

(04:30):
way over the line of scrimmageand pushes those defenders back.
I think he's going to be a bighelp for them.
He's probably in the vein ofthe kind of guys I'm talking
about in Philly, so I think hewould help out Josh Allen and
the Bills greatly.
So we'll give him some helpthere, all right, so we're
looking at, hopefully, some linehelp here.
We'll get him some help there, all right.

(04:51):
So we're looking at, hopefully, some line help here.
A lot of the guys that I waslooking for in the secondary
have been snatched.
All right, I think we're goingto go in again.
There's some needs here thatthese guys have in secondary
mainly.
I think they can get this hookanywhere, though, so I'm going

(05:26):
to stay here.
Jt Tua Malau, edge rusher out ofOhio State.
I heard a little bit about himbesides what we're seeing here
Explosive, good body, strong,6'4", 265.
I know that he has a lot ofgood pass-rushing techniques.
Honestly, to be the team likethe Chiefs, you need somebody to

(05:51):
threaten Patrick Mahomes oftenand make him uncomfortable in
the pocket.
We've seen that a lot in thispast Super Bowl.
I think Tua Malau is a goodpick for them.
I think we're doing good forthe Bills so far.
I'm kind of concerned about thecornerback situation and I don't
know if we're going to findanybody that's going to be
available in this round thatwe're picking in.
I'm rejecting all of thesetrades because we need to have

(06:12):
some help here, so we're notgoing to do that.
I think it's going to be ourlast pick, if I'm not mistaken.
Let me double check that.
Yep, it's our last pick at 62.
So we're still in round two.
Some good talent here.
Yeah, I really want to helpthese guys out.
I'm so tempted to see what theygot going on at wire receiver,

(06:33):
but these guys are, uh,undersized and I'm going to be
reaching, looking for some big, tall wide receivers now that
they got rid of mac holland's.
But I really be reaching.
I don't want to do so.
Let's see what we got going on.
Okay, we're going to have an allOhio State three-round mock for

(06:56):
the Buffalo Bills, but I meanthere's some high-level play
here coming up from Denzel Burke.
I mean he's definitelydeserving to be in the second
round.
There was some mocks that hadhim even going a little higher
than that.
He has the potential.
He has everything that youdesire to see in a locked down
corner.
So we're going all Ohio Statehere.

(07:16):
We're going to go ahead andbite the bullet.
Now we're going to make ithappen.
So that's funny, but here weare, that's what we're doing.
So I think we are pretty muchhere.
So all of our picks we got JoshSimmons out of Ohio State to be
at left tackle help that JoshAllen needs out there.
Jt Tul Malau, a George out ofOhio State, of course, also out

(07:37):
of Ohio State Cornerback to theground on this three-mark draft.
Denzel Burke.
I like what they got going on.
I think these things helpedthem greatly.
I definitely want to hear whatyou guys think about this mock

them?
