This podcast is an insight into running one of the largest companies in South Australia, into the Owner Darren Thomas and guess what, still privately owned.

Since a child I have been fortunate to know the Thomas Family, Chris started as a livestock buyer, Darren the most overqualified livestock buyer and Mum Libby all worked to build this business and it is truly well deserved.

It takes its toll because it is so global, managing risks and constantly travelling there is a lot of moving parts every minute of the day.

But TFI like all companies is transitioning to Net Zero and Darren is right across this goal.

TFI's reach extends across Australia and key international markets, propelled by a steadfast dedication to excellence and innovation. Boasting extensive rural operations and cutting-edge meat processing facilities strategically situated in South Australia, New South Wales, Victoria, and beyond, TFI's integrated approach guarantees meticulous attention to detail throughout the entire production journey, from pasture to plate.

 Under Darren's visionary guidance, TFI has embarked on an ambitious trajectory of expansion, investing significantly in its overseas processing and distribution network across North America, Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the UK.
