Laura Emilia Pacheco es escritora, ensayista, editora y traductora literaria. Es autora de El último mundo, libro de relatos y crónicas acerca de temas y situaciones que nos llevan al límite, y de Infinito Naufragio, Antología de su padre, José Emilio Pacheco. Como editora, fue miembro fundador de la primera época del suplemento cultural Confabulario del diario El Universal, así como directora general de Publicaciones en el extinto Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes. Desde hace más de tres décadas colabora con los principales periódicos, revistas y editoriales en lengua castellana, en un permanente esfuerzo por fomentar la lectura.
