Antonio Argüelles es un empresario, servidor público, escritor y nadador de aguas abiertas mexicano. Fundó la Federación Mexicana de Triatlón en 1989 y, junto con Nora Toledano, escribió A cada brazada: el azul interminable. Es la primera en el mundo que obtuvo la doble Triple Corona de Natación, el primer mexicano en cruzar el Canal de Catalina en invierno y el primer hispano-parlante en concluir el reto de los Siete Mares.
