Egresada de la Licenciatura en Historia de la Universidad Iberoamericana, diplomada en Política Internacional por la London School of Economics And Political Science y en Liderazgo y Gestión de Museos por el Instituto Liderazgo en Museos A.C. (ILM-ITAM-INSTITUTO GETTY). Ha desarrollado una amplia carrera en la gestión y administración cultural. Fue Directora de Relaciones Internacionales, así como Coordinadora de Artes Plásticas en el Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes (INBA) y Coordinadora Nacional de Asuntos Internacionales y de Patrimonio Cultural y Turismo en el Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes (CONACULTA). Se desempeñó también como Secretaría Técnica en la Coordinación de Difusión Cultural de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), Directora de Producción en el IMER y Directora General de Cooperación Educativa y Cultural en la Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores (SRE). En el ámbito de la diplomacia y gestión cultural internacional, estuvo al frente de la promoción cultural y educativa de México en las Embajadas en Londres, Washington y en el Consulado de Barcelona. Actualmente es Directora General del Museo Franz Mayer.
