It was one of the last gifts I got from her,
and it was one of those things where I got

So I do have a question as far as gifts
going maybe more than a if so engagement rings, asking

would look good on her, that I want to symbolize
my whatever, love and fidelity, and I want to be like,

my friend. My friend would be like, hey, where this ring?
I got this for you. I think it'll look great
on you. And I don't want the person that receives
the ring to say I don't like Princess kat. I
want baguettes and I think yellow gold that gets delicious. Well,

Danielle Gandhi, what what do you think like if you
had if growing up and you had this dream of
the perfect engagement, the man of your dreams getting on
one knee pulling out the ring that that you always wanted,
and you see you see the man on one knee,
but a only excited over what he bought you. Keep
in mind, what would you what would your feeling see?

Take this one? I feel like I'm the wrong person
to ask about because put yourself in the shoes. Putting
myself in the shoes one. I never want an engagement ring.
Even if I mess up and get married, I don't
want to ring. I'll lose it. I don't like diamonds.
I'd rather get like a tattoo or something. By the way,

I think you need to talk to her friends because
you want to do that, Okay, because she's gonna say that,

but the friend's gonna say something to her, and I'm like, okay.
But then I also think, and this is where I
think I differ from a lot of girls, I would
be fine with whatever he bought me because I would
think that's a piece of his heart. That's what he
really liked. He put a lot of thought into it.
It's it's a token of him for me. I would
be fine even if I thought it was hideous. I
would be like, Okay, that's fine. Whatever this is from you,

I love you. That's the bigger point. I have so
many girl friends who have been heinous bitches about the
ring that I am traumatized. For every man in the
world who tries to do this, good luck. I don't
want to tell you. Yeah, I know somebody who won't
even wear the ring because she thought it was too small.
I had a friend return the ring. Yeah, when it
was me and I was getting engaged. When we talked

about it, I just he knew what I wanted and
what I didn't want. He knew I didn't want something huge.
He knew I wanted something clear. He knew what this
has been redone too since then, but he knew I
wanted something classy um round. He knew I liked tiffany um.
So he surprised me with he picked it out in
England when he was there and brit I loved it

and we've upgraded it by putting like a halo around
it for an anniversary. So like, but I love I mean,
I never said I want this many carrots and blah
blah blah. He just knew what my taste was and
that was it and he did everything. Nate. Knowing your
friend's friend, she's a very nice person from what I
from what I've heard, and she will tell you no
matter what, she loves it, but deep down she has

an idea of what she wants see and I don't
think that's right. I mean, I'm pretty good at picking
up pints and I feel like if I get the
correct cut, yeah, like that marquis. I think I don't know.
I haven't asked my friend's friend, but I don't know.
I feel like that would be enough that the rest
of the ring doesn't really matter. I mean, I hope

you know your friend's friend well enough that you know
their style and their taste and that they don't want
a huge, gaudy thing, or they don't want a small

something that I felt like could get stolen while I
was walking around. Like I know a lot of people
who they get the ring so big that when they
travel they get a fake one, a cubic zarconia, because
they are afraid, Like I don't want that. I wanted
to be able to wear it. That's why I say
you tell your friend to get a backup, because there
are those situations where said person will misplace it one

morning when they wake up. H is getting welded to
your friends, your friend to get please your freaking bone.
I mean, ultimately, everybody has their own feelings towards you
know what they want and at the end of the day,
as long as you guys are happy. But I think
you should tell your friend to kind of put it
out there and get feelers. But once your friend puts

it out there, I can tell you the clock starts
taking backwards. That's what I can't happen, can't You can?
Or your friend can look at her other jewelry and
sort of get a grasp on, like he's loved at
the other jewelry and he has an idea. It's just
the biggest piece of jewelry I think you'll ever get

another friend of yours who's looking at rings. What kind
would you like if we we're picking, can you do that?
Like if if? Okay, So let's say I'm me and
I'm right, you're getting engaged your friends to your girlfriend.
Maybe you can talk to your girlfriend and say that
you have a friend who is getting engaged. What kind
of rings should he get his girlfriend? See what she says, Oh,

that's pretty brilliant, you know, like what kind of rings
are saying? What kind of rings are you into and
does you want a diamond? Definitely, because some people nowadays
want like an emerald, sapphire or sapphire. Yeah, now, which
I think it's my friend's friend bert stone, So it
has to be a diamond. Do you know what's really cool?

the damn difference. Um, there's something called a life gem
that you can make a diamond out of literally a
piece of you. You can take your hair and they'll
make it into a diamond and it's beautiful. And you
could get her friend to give her that. That is

It was going on the conveyor belt. Ali and her
friends were thirty seconds late of checking in and they
shut it down. So I was the only one going
away to Bermuda, so I had to I had to
slowly go over the counter and tell the woman, please
get that bag off the conveyor belt. I cannot get

on that plane, and they did. We booked another flight,
got down there, and then uh, I figured, let's do
it early in the morning, because Ali likes to take pictures.
She loves photography. So I'm like, let's get a picture
of the sunrise. And uh I should have learned from
Beauty and the Beasts. Sunrises in the east sets in
the west, right, So the the hotel was on the

west end, so I said, fuck. So we're on the beach.
Ali's taking taking a picture of just like the clouds.
I get down on one knee and she turns around.
She goes, oh my god, crabs. And I'm standing there

kneeling and she goes, oh my God. She said yes.
And then that early in the morning, if you ever
been to Bermuda, wild dogs roam the beach, Jesus we
quickly she quickly said yes, and I said, can we
please go now because I was scared because there's three
dogs roaming the beach and no one else was out there.
So technically I don't know. She said yes, by law

she put it on, and I'm pretty sure she said yes.
But yeah, that's how it happened. That's fancy. So my friend, uh,
not the friend I was talking about, but my other
friend has already gotten engaged. He was in California and
he was planning on doing it sunset at the beach
in Malibu, and you know, gonna be great. He had
it all planned out, knew exactly what times sunset was.
Problem was the NBA Finals were on at the same time,

(11:56):
and yeah, and Lebron James is on fire. So they're
sitting at this bar and he knows he needs to
be at the beach at a certain time, but he
stuck watching the game. He doesn't realize still half way
through the fourth quarter. Oh ship, I only have like
fifteen minutes. It was honey, we gotta go. I got
in the car like race to this spot on the
beach and they got there just in time. But it
sounds like an Adam Sandler movie. Yeah, but they did it.

(12:18):
But they did the beach thing too. I feel like
everybody gets engaged. I'm just going to romantic. Well, Daniel,
you got engaged here on the radio. It's so funny.
I had no idea what was happening. Um, and Brody
even had like my video camera going at the time.
I didn't even know it was my video camera. But
I almost messed it up because we he was going
to do it on Good Friday, and I insisted we

take off on Good Friday and Elvis was like, no,
we can't. We can't take off on Good Friday. Like, yes,
we are taking off. Well, we took off and he
went back to Sheldon and said, listen, your girlfriend made
us take off on Friday. Figure it out. So Sheldon
had to come in another day the next day and
propose and whatever, and he asked me here and um,
yeah it was. It was. It was very cool topic

for the show. How did you ruin your own engagement?
A wild dogs? Speaking of rings going around the conveyor
belt when we he got deported like a couple of
months before we got engaged, and he had done the
same thing. Checked the ring in the bag that he
had brought in and yeah, that's a different story, and
it was going around and around and around on the

conveyor p in the bag and he was panicking that
that the ring was in the bag. That's crazy. Why
would you check a ring because because because hold On
recognizes me, think about it going through security, having to
pull the t s a agent aside and go listen,

do not go through my bag because there's something in it.
Oh yeah, that's the lasting exactly your point. What if
you didn't, you didn't even have to say that you're what,
You're not gonna get pulled over back here. So it
happens looks like a drugs They probably think I have
weed on me, but I don't. Never but always get accused.

So I said, okay, so I put it in a
pair of cargo cargo shorts. When when cargo shorts were
in get off my ass and I rolled them up.
So if you were going to find that ring, you
were looking for something at that point, because it was
at the bottom of my bag. Trust me, it was
very I thought about it, and it was one of
those things after the fact, I said, I probably shouldn't
have done it, but I did it and it was successful. Okay, Well,

my friend who you guys all met who was like,
super extra. I showed you guys her engagement picture. She
ruined her own engagement because she told him they went
on vacation. She told him while she was sitting there,
I feel like you're going to propose to me at
some time this year, and I just want to tell
you I hate your style. So if you do, please
get a ring that's customizable that I can change, because
I'm gonna need to change it. He got the ring

and threw it at her and was like, this is
your ring and she loved it. Oh stuff, my friends friends.
