The next-gen-voices’s Podcast

Z102.5 FM represents a thoughtful collaboration between Iredell-Statesville Schools, Covenant Broadcasting, and Signal Hill Media Partners. This initiative is designed to provide students with hands-on learning opportunities in the field of broadcasting, fostering skills that will serve them well in their future careers. Beyond education, Z102.5 FM also functions as an important platform for disseminating information to the community, keeping the public informed about events, initiatives, and developments within the Iredell-Statesville School District. Through this partnership, we aim to cultivate informed citizens while empowering the next generation of media professionals. **In 2026, Next Gen Voices will publish six distinctly different podcasts, each with up to 8 episodes. The Culture Brief, your front-row seat on everything happening in pop culture. From award season buzz, the most anticipated movies, fresh album drops, and the biggest trending moments. You're weekly check on what's shaping pop culture right now. Host: Angelica Celine Orbista The Weekly Rewind. The Weekly Rewind brings the past to the present by focusing on major (and minor), often overlooked moments that occurred during the same week in years past. Each episode acts as a short history book, talking about things spanning from five years ago to two hundred years ago. Host: Aidan Murphy The Braylon Breakdown, a high-energy comedy-driven show that keeps the community in the loop while keeping listeners laughing. Each episode delivers fresh community updates, mixed with music trivia, general trivia, and plenty of personality. The Braylon Breakdown turns staying informed into an entertaining experience you won't want to miss! Host: Braylon Fullbright The ISS Sports Report, the place to go for your Iredell-Statesville Schools sports content. Host Aidan Hebbard will take you through weekly updates regarding local district sports. The I-SS Sports Report will cover the scores of recent games, shoutouts to standout district student-athletes, interviews with coach's and players, and so much more. Joystick Jester, a review of video games complete with story plots, characters, tips, trick, ratings and more. Host: John Colon It's Gravity (or something we don't actually know, help!). A creative storytelling segment that explores philosophical concepts through seemingly nonsensical hijinkery which can slowly become horrifying, heavily leaning into absurdism as a way to keep existing happily in a world that further deprives free will as you tear at its seams and produce nihilistic thoughts. Creator: Grayson Hartzog
