It is Johnny's house Thursday morning. As we track Hurricane Heleen,
we'll start feeling the effects of it sometime later on.
Today we're starting to get a little bit of rain
to uh in this area. Now it's gonna be wendy rain,
possible thunderstorm, and talking about very strong winds expected anywhere

forty nine miles an hour. Wind gusts will could possibly

Plus password, might end this week, shut it down, It
might be ending this week. What they're saying is that
Disney Plus is officially cracking down. Yeah, they'll allow you
to add an extra member, but it's going to cost
an additional six nine a month. Uh huh for Disney

Plus Basic, nine ninety nine for Disney Plus Premium, and
you can only add one other member. Really. They're also
raising their subscription prices next month, so that really shocked. Yeah,
so once one streaming platform does this, though, I feel
like most of them do.

When I was in Charlotte, I had to update my
mom's Netflix because I didn't use Netflix here because I
was afraid they're gonna shut hers down. But I want
to hit and pay the extra six bucks and yeah, legit.

It was like usually when Netflix, you could say that
you're traveling, but it's.

Like, how can you be traveling? There? Shut one of them?

That doesn't make sense. So you can try to keep
giving away with sharing your password. But Disney says they'll
be able to automatically detect when somebody's watching outside of
your household. So they're probably doing the same thing as Netflix.

Wow, what in the beginning when Netflix you didn't shared
as much as you wanted? Yes, yeah, I mean pretty
much with everybody you could do that.

And Disney Plus was pretty good. They were like lenient
with like yeah, give it out, like whatever we use
rais for years. Yeah, that's true. So true. Maclamore has
been bounced from an upcoming festival. I don't know if
you've seen what's been going on with him.

He was supposed to be at Neon City Festival in
Las Vegas, but they didn't really say it was because

there was another experience that happened. I heard about Bridgerton.

Three hundred and fifty dollars a head to get in. Now, right,
if I leave anything out, you tell me that with
three hundred fifty dollars ahead, they was supposed to be
a big party, was supposed to dress like them. And
when you walk into the room. You think you're in
a time period, Johnny, what is the Bridgerton's team, because
I don't know.

It's like Renaissance Renaissance, yea, like over the top, like
when you walked in the room, it was supposed to think.

You were supposed to think you were back in that
time and your dressed.

Man, the room would decorate it. They had one pole
with a strip on it.

So that's why I was asking what the theme was
because I saw the stripper poll and I'm like, wait
a second.

Yes, they builled that woman three hours before the gig started.

No, you're right, you're pretty on point. So they were
offering up a two thousand dollars cash prize for the
best dress attendee. There was no cash prize. There was
also no alcohol. The entertainment was a single violin player
and a stripper.

Where does the stripper come into the thing.

They don't know.

She's like an acrobatic performer. But they were like what
can you do? She's like, well, I have all these options.
What was your budget this? I was like, I can
come with the stripping poles they said.

they had thousand lines around the corner to get in.

So it's just a pre room and then we gonna
go to the real road.

I'm like, holy macro. So people are complaining all over
social media. If you are in Detroit at this Bridgerton experience,

ripped off. But let's let's let's make the best of it.

I don't know. Let's do some updates on what we've
been doing the last twenty four hours. Right here in
Johnny's house. It's gonna hit the big ben area, they
say as a cat for They say there's some areas
it's gonna be without power for weeks. That's how bad.

It's gonna bit unsurvivable storm surge. Yeah, that's what they
labeled to do. Oh yeah, And the thing is is
that you know now it's in the it's in the
in the golf. It's gonna pick up real fast. So

We're gonna start getting some rain and stuff like that,
and later on this afternoon it's gonna get really intense
for us. But it's gonna be rain with showers, thunderstorms
wind us up to about forty nine miles an hour.
It's still gonna be hot. It's gonna feel like it's
one hundred and one. It is seventy nine right now. Yesterday,
just getting everything prepared for the day, I had to
do laundry for this weekend. So you know, I do
laundry when I'm down to my last pair of draws.

So I had two pair left, so last night decided
to go ahead and do some some laundry. Had to
take the kid over to his grandmother's because they don't
have school today. Now, when I get in free time
like that, then I'm gonna kick it with my girl.
And the reche noticed something that she knows I'm wearing
sweats today. Well, I threw some clothes in the bag
real quick because I spent the night there. But I
forgot a belt, so I just have to have some

sweatpants over again. She called me out on me, So
that's why I'm wearing.

Sweats and wearing sweatpants. But I didn't think anything of.

Johnny, I'm like you over here wearing house shoes. Was
such a weird thing to see Johnny not in jeans.

I didn't want to sit around all day and pull
my pants.

Nobody go in the building today. But so, Ray, how

Yeah, it was good. I ran some errands, and then
I tried a new gym class over at the gym,
which was really cool. I loved it. And then uh,
that's pretty much it. We went to the game last night.
Oh yeah, the Lightning game, which was incredible, such a
great game Lightning and Panthers. It was I'm like n
HL fan now really yeah, I have like fell in

It was so cool. It was like sold out. Yeah,
and there wasn't a fight, so imagine if there was one.
There was like a little scuffle.

it's different than the Solar Bears. Those guys were scrapping
a second.

Yeah, Brian, how was yours?

It was cool. So I went and did everything I
needed to do storm wise. That's really just to make
sure nothing can fly across the yard because we're gonna
get wind gusts. But I mean there's nothing else we
could do. So the tradition is and my wife and
I go to Epcot. So once we get everything like
strapped down so we know everything's good, we just go
walk around up cotton. Yeah, so it happens to be
food and Wine festival this year, which is great. So yeah,

we went and did that. I had a little cold
water lobster tail which was nice.

Oh nice.

I had a French fry flight which was nice, joined
to apparol sprints while I got my ten thousand steps
in nice time.

What time they close?

Speaker 5 (09:41):
The fireworks hit at nine and then they close after
the show's over, So nine o'clock.

I haven't I haven't gotten a while. But could you
go up and say and listen, y'all about to close.

saw this app that tells you restaurants that give that stuff.
Have you seen this app that they did they give
the restaurants that if they close when they call you,
they give you the discount.

I don't know. I don't know either, because they told
me they want to do put some cookies on my phone.

thirty We got this big zoom meeting corporates there and
the Resa's roommate walked about with no shirt on the
stars dances. You did the double guns and everybody stopped
like okay, But anyway, besides that, how was your day?

Speaker 8 (11:49):
I got ready for today because we're going to be
checking into the Carey Broyal. I'm very excited. And then
I also went to the hockey game yesterday, go Panthers.
Sadly we lost by one point. Such a great game. Wow,
but yeah, and then went home.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
Okay, listen, seeing it, we got this big hurricane coming
our way. We're gonna find out when did the weather
affect something you had going on? Like Brian something happy
he didn't know. We'll tell you about his wedding. Something
had to change because something was going on and it
had to do with weather. We'll get into that coming
up in a couple of minutes right here on Johnny's house.
And the next hour or two it's going to intensify
to a category two and then two, a three, and

it's moving really really fast here in central Floridaday, we're
gonna get a lot of rain, it's gonna be gusty,
winds up to forty nine miles an hour. That's why
there's no school today here at i Heeart. Everybody's working
from home. It's gonna be a high eighty seven and
feel like one hundred and one. It is seventy nine
right now. So when has the weather impacted a major

life event? And Brian, he also is pretty cool.

Yeah, my first wedding, So my wife and I have
renewed our vowls a few times, but like our first
actual wedding wedding was during hurricane season, was in July,
so it was like it wasn't quite it wasn't expected. Yeah,
we totally didn't expect. It was like the very beginning
of when stuff starts to jump off. And we were
planning an outdoor wedding at a resort here in central Florida,

and the week before it started there might be some
sort of weather situation, so they all obviously had a
plan B. We were supposed to be outside, but the
night before the wedding, a hurricane came through. They messed
up everything on the grounds. Of the hotel, so we
had to move it inside, so we still had the
wedding like normal whatever.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
Oh yeah, yeah, you couldn't really tell because I mean
only you had the vision of what you wanted outside. Yeah,
so when we came, it was the wedding. Yeah, they
did a great job of doing it. But yeah, how
do you feel the night before? When do you start
getting antsy or nervous? Or when did they make the
call to say, hey, we're gonna have to move it indoors.
I didn't care because to me, I didn't really matter

where we did it. My wife really wanted it outside,
so she was upset, but you know, for me, it
was like whatever. So it did a week long thing
because you know it's coming.

Like this one is a little different because it came
so fast. But for that one, yeah, we knew it
was we can't cancel the wedding's got to write it out.

When do the was it you decided a hotel to
side tell the sides? And how did they tell you that?
Like two or three days before?

They told us the night before before, like, look, it's
we're probably not gonna be able to do this. Because
we walked the grounds and everything, and yeah, we were
looking at wind blowing like crazy and you can't put
chairs out and stuff. So yeah, so they're like, let's
just do it, move it inside. We're like, all right,
that's fine. So we renewed on the beach years later,
so she got her outdoor wedding. But yeah, yeah, it
just happened. I mean, you can't really pronount it.

My son drove the Tampa yesterday for the Stained and
Breaking Benjamin show and it got canceled while he was
on his way.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
Wow, I had an event last night. I was gonna
talk to a group from Emerging Leadership Board from Runway
to Hope and everybody had to sit down and have
a conversation with five people that asked you about the
jah blah blah. I canceled it yesterday. I'm like, listen,
we'll do it next week. Yeah. It's just too much
going on right now. You have having event you had
to cancel during wether or somewhere, and you're like, that's

the worst thing. If it's okay, if somebody you're close to,
you're upsetting, like, oh man. But if it's not someone
you're close to, you're supposed to go somewhere you like,
I hope the cancer.

I feel like moving the wedding inside. So Ray you
didn't we didn't know you then, so this was before
you and obviously same with Reice, but I feel like
moving inside. Did you a solid It was July?

Yeah it was.

Here's my thing. I'm at this point in my life
that y'all know my favorite arts in the world. Now,
if he was performing and it was raining, I ain't
going if it was outdoors all but at this point
of my life, I've seen the Man three four times,
but it was the last show. I'm gonna eat that ticket.

it would just be me and her up there, and
I was gonna get down on one knee and lo
and behold high wind advisory that day. Yeah, I already

bought the tickets non refundable, leaking out and I'm like,
oh gosh, what am I gonna do? So we go
down there? Anyway, I talked to them and asked them, look,
can we at least like just go down into the area. Yeah,
I can, you know, do a little something. And they
were more than a happy time to accommodate. And they
got us a refund.

And oh good, because there's some place yeah, I got

Somebody said they had a hurricane come through Saint Augustine.
It shut the whole town down, and it was on
her wedding day.

this thing moves through around dinner time tonight, with winds

gussing about fifty to sixty miles per hour here in Orlando.
But guys, that's not all of it. We've got a
major tornado threat setting up for us this afternoon across Orlando.
So even though we're going to be over one hundred
and fifty miles from the center of this hurricane at
the closest pass, we still face peril with power outages
and the possibility of some tornadoes.

When should we start seeing things deteriorate around here.

So it looks like we're going to see the worst
weather moving in right around the time of the evening commute,
probably close to five o'clock. Certainly by dinner time, it'll
be a completely different day than what we've had this morning,
this relative calm before the storm. We're gonna have a
lot of action out there. But the good news is
it's not gonna last forever. By tomorrow morning, we're gonna
see a lot of these impacts moving out, and so
we'll have some lingering around Friday, the conditions will get

back to normal pretty quickly.

So it's moving very fast, it is, and that's part
of the problem.

It's moving really fast. That's good for us, but that's
bad for Tallahassee because you know, and often these things

this case, it's going so fast it'll strengthen all the
way through landfall, and that'll actually amplify the negative impacts
for Tallahassee. That's gonna make things a lot worse. You know,
we can have a lot of issues up there that

folks haven't even thought about. And you know what's speaking
of cities impacted, there's a possibility this maintains hurricane strength
all the way up I seventy five into Atlanta. Who huge, Yeah,
think about that a hurricane in Atlanta, right, yeah, it
could be a major flight cancelations up at Hartsfield and
not to mention just all the rest up in a town,
big city up there, and a lot of folks impacted.
