The Community Church

During this season of Peace on Earth, our personal issues, i.e., problems, worries, pressing obligations, etc., draw our focus more to the earth than to the peace. In this sermon series, The Community Church seeks to encourage a reversal of that trend.

Whether hosting or attending family get-togethers during the holidays, biblical love can be lived and demonstrated without the sacrifice of personal peace. The Bible does not contend that the one can only be purchased at the expense of the other; it teaches the opposite. 

Spiritual growth isn't measured in height or inches, but in depth. Join us this Sunday to learn that generosity is what joy looks like when it grows up.

Compassion is only a feeling — a useless sentiment we profess for those who are suffering — unless it is substantiated through our intentional acts of generosity. Unless it costs us something, compassion is worth nothing.
