Down The Road

Down The Road

Our lives are full of moments and decisions that end up shaping our lives, sometimes we don’t even realise them at the time. More often than not though it is the person's story that has placed them at that moment of decision that plays such a large role in what happens next. In this podcast we tell a business story through the lens of our life story and I chose to start with the people who are down the road from where I live, which is a small coastal town 3 hours north of Sydney, Australia called Forster. If you haven’t been here, it is one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Some of these people are only a little way down the road on their business journeys, others close to the end. What I have found though in talking to each of them is that I walk away not only enjoying their story but reflecting on my own life and work in the light of their reflections. Have I really chosen a career I love? How influential has my family been on my decisions? Do I celebrate success at work well? Would I be willing to take a risk like that? So come along for the ride as you enjoy the stories of the people Down the Road.
