"So that was kind of where I was coming from when I read the book. This is a really good book. Like I think if there's any book anyone should read in 2025, this is a really good book because there's a lot in the book. Like I actually think I'm going to reread it because there's so much in it that it's hard to keep up with notes and that. But it was really good."

It really just reminded me of my love for biryani and my dream of one day being able to make it as brilliant and delicious as I eat. Whenever it's made, either it's at an outlet or at home. So check out this book. The book is called Any Dreams of Bi...

"So please don't force yourself to finish a book. This is also normalizing that. O my God. If some book does not interest you, don't go back to that book. That book will destroy your reading hobby. And I'm saying it with all the goodness in my heart. I know that. Take care."

"And when you meet a reader, a fellow reader, it's almost like, you know, oh my God, I see myself in this person, this character. And that's what this book is. It's magical. I mean, I don't know why people are not hyping this up more. But please read this book. I mean please, please, please. It's high time that people start hyping up like this book is better than days at the Murasaki bo...

"But I decided to give White Nights a chance, and I couldn't go past more than, I think, 12, 15 pages, and I decided to drop it. And I felt that, okay, there is some reason that I'm not able to just get into classics. I should just let it be for now."

"A fairy tale retelling in recent times that I've read is Tikarella by Tanzania Glover. It's part of a three series with three books and Tickerella is based out of Cinderella, a retelling of Cinderella. And it talks about a woman who is plus size and she's black. Oh, I love it when I get to read black romance authors and it's not intense. Basically, people have this assumption that roman...

"My favorite children's classic from when I was little was Alice in Wonderland. I just think that when it was read to me, my perception of the book was, regardless of what goes wrong, as long as you keep moving forward, you can always do something to set it right. So that's something that I would definitely recommend for anybody."

"It's not like I've read Better Smart. And there's a lot of. Just the amount of content I've read in romance books that has intimate scenes, that has sex scenes. This was just not it. So this was a poke ID and f. And also this is also a recording on one of my. On one of the prompts of Read With Us Book Club is to normalize that."

"It is one of its first kind, the. The non linear. There is no narrative, there's no, you know, these. There's no template writing or there it's. It's abstract and you will also try to figure out where this is going. But in spite of it being so bizarre, it still manages to take you through Maria's journey and also makes you see the perceptions that she wants to introduce you to."

"And it is annoying when you have characters that act in such immature way and like, you are 31 years old and it's like, oh no, I'm too old for this. So that was me reading acotar and its successors and kind of hoping I don't have to read a Sara J. Maas again because I can't. Like, obviously she was not allowed to edit the books or she didn't want to edit the books, that much is clear be...

"And it's very rare to see books covering those topics of imperfection and overcoming those and having people and the right support system that helps you. So if you're looking for a little magical book and something that addresses this topic and overcoming it, I would highly recommend this book."

"The aunties are not the villains or the chatterboxes, but yes, and also the humor that's there in Richmukherjee's writing is always a pleasure to read. And I look forward to more books by her. I please check out vigilantes by Richa Mukherjee. I really had a gala time reading about their, the aunties, their lives. I mean, you, they are regular people. They are not like your, you know, t...

"Although I will give a heads up, this can be a depressing and saddening for some readers who cannot bear the sacrificial of animal and the people who eat dead animals as their food, who are dependent on upper caste for their food, like the remains of the food from their family, their household was given to the Dalits or the meher community. So this was all I could just put it about fo...

"And he was just like, it was just acknowledging that fact that what men do in romance movies is, it's the bare minimum. It's the, it's like what any man in love or who has a girlfriend or who is committed is supposed to do. You're not. This is not some really high expectations that you are, you know, you're supposed to do that. It's like one of my favorite actors says, it's always the s...

"I've read this and I've read that, but it's just that when you're in that space and you're in that headspace, and I was not in a very great place when I read this book. And I cried a lot after that, but it's still brought a smile on my face that finally, finally I can see a woman, specially, who has epilepsy. So the book I am talking about is a not so holiday paradise by Gracie Ruth Mi...

And it has also stayed back with me, especially Khuldu and Kali Shalwar. So, yeah, manto stories. Specifically these ones. But there are many others I've read. But yes, of course, this.
