Nearly each week, the band dummydust, improvises and records a new song in 3 hours or less. Using mostly first takes, lead vocalist and lyricist Lori quickly creates a vocal melody while the other members, Donnie and Chris, add additional percussion, guitars, and other tracks until Lori is ready to sing and record her freshly written lyrics. Then, the song gets a rough mix and after that, it comes to you here! Sometimes, these improvisations get worked into songs that dummydust plays live. Genres have included elements of darkwave, punk rock, experimental, goth, 90’s alternative, 80’s pop, post-grunge, desert rock, and more. We’ll keep ’em coming if you subscribe just once and dance whenever you can!
Lyrics:
I was once one of three I had a good view of the trees, I roamed
(My thirst is so unquenchable My claws are so unclinchable )
Scratching is my way Same thing every say, I roam
Thought I was blazing a path Aviary inspiration, the loam
First the girl was gone Then her brother too, soon followed.
Worms and watermelon Habits not worth breaking My life is easy living But inside my heart is breaking
Gone like a flutter of wings ...

We are A felony Felony Lane felony lane gang

Lyrics:
Single-celled organisms Spread themselves around Retinal brings the purple before The version we know now Purple Earth As strange as it sounds Life forms may have painted our planet With shades of purple not of green Purple Earth As strange as it seem
Sunlight was still abundant enough To shine through the hazy sky Represent the red and the blue Yellow is a lie Purple Earth As strange as it sounds Life forms may have p...
Lyrics:
What was once made you proud Maybe because it was not allowed You brag of your own infamy And wink at the chicanery Everything seems too hard You have to abbreviate Offer plenty people Often point pretty
You were driving down to Alabama Your family made the journey A gag about Alabama Yeah you know me
The kids these days don’t feel that way They’ve seen it all They can have anything And don’t want it They’...
Lyrics:
Lizzie says When the smoke is Dotting the sky with white It’s time to stop looking back You were there You know who set the fire And now you find yourself Staring at flowers
I am not referring to A smoking pope who’s also white Not like he’s attractive He’s an old man with a robe I’m not into that are you I guess it’s okay if you are But what I meant was A statement about the smoke
White token smoke Smoking hot from Chic...
Lyrics: Porous Doris, the absorber of sound When you’re getting your jam on you don’t Want her around She’s cramping your style and she’ll ruin your luck She doesn’t mean to but she can’t help to suck
If you play music then you should know Only bring your solid friends with you to shows But if you’re recording she’s the lady for you She will preserve you from the stomps of shoes

Lyrics:
Gene Wilder’s smiling
I feel scared
Smiling eyes brightly like
Butterflies
They know my address
It’s autofilled
Defeating me easily
Like they say they will
Minding my own business
Having a snack
Out of the wiring
A meme attack
Nobody considered
How the robots fight back
No real weapon
But a meme attack
44 chuckies stare at me at night
I bought them with my mom’s phone
Lit with inside light
Hacked to death by

I was never afraid of the dark
Sweating as I was in a well-lit room
Even the shadows were arranged
Strategically
To guarantee
your victory
Swallow up the darkness
a million midnights less
stars are ever blinking
You can blink right back
Swallow up the darkness
a million midnights less
Stars are ever blinking
No one changed their batteries
You have
to believe
Consensus means
Everything
I’m perpetually
starving
Lyrics:
Stand up if you’re wearing boots
(It is a group that exists all to itself )
Stand up if you’re wearing shoes
( Also a group that keeps to itself) We can’t stand for both these things
They can’t fit together
What are you even trying to say
My friends and I weren’t born
Yesterday
You may think I’m
Malleable
( It is a group that exists all to itself)
But there are well established
Facts
( Also a group that keeps to ...
Lyrics:
Boat oars draw
water for Fish crawl
I’ve got my eye on the
Ocean horizon
I got
Swallowed by a whale
Said to myself
This is the end
Inflatable
On the ocean
Amazing endurance
In plastic
I serve the krill
In for the thrill
Fresh fish
Fresh kill
First I saw
Blue and black
Then I felt
A touch of damp
I’m all in now
Stern and bow
Goodbye sun
I’m so done
Inflatable
On the ocean
Amazing endurance
In plastic

Lyrics:
My friends
Are black and golden
They pave
The way with pollen
Bring the good news
I’ll bring something too
I’m your emissary
I tell you the stories
Once it gets to going
New ideas start floating
Make the best of right now
Brace ourselves for flooding
Take the path of righteousness
Only twenty years left
