By the early Nineties, the New Jack Sound dominated the pop music charts: Bell Biv Devoe, Bobby Brown, Boyz II Men, and many more. While working in a department store, a chance meeting inspires Timmy Gatling to form a new group called Guy. He seeks out an old friend, Teddy Riley, to be a part of it.
