For July's new releases edition of Friday I'm In Love I played the latest releases sent to Eardrum Buzz Radio plus a few choice picks I bought. And I forgot to record the show. So here is a mixed version, sans me talking. The bonus is, that I included another hour of songs that didn't make it into the regular airing.

Friday I'm In Love can be heard live at www.eardrumbuzz.net on the first and third Friday of the month at 6pm Pacif...

It was my 58th birthday on Friday, July 24th, 2026 so I decided I was going to play songs from the year I was 18 and 19, 1986. Lot's of great releases from that year and late the year prior! This is what I was listening to, the CD's and cassettes I wore out, the ones I brought everywhere, the ones I bought and listened to while skipping my senior year and college classes. So enjoy my soundtrack to 1986 and remember your teen years ...

A few years back I became aware of this crazy guy over in Melbourne, Australia named Damian Frood. He used to make sounds as Tina & The Hams with Craig Tigwell and their music was a delightful blend of catchy Post-Punk and weirdness that I loved. Now, Damian makes music solo as The Failed Blue Dot and he still sounds weird and catchy!

When I started following Seattle's Black Nite Crash and reviewing their music for Highwire Daze Magazine I enjoyed the band's sound, a mix of psychedelic and textured and catchy tunes. But little did I know, that guitarist/singer Jim Biggs was also a club DJ. DJ JimiC has done anniversary shows in the past but this time he's put together two hours of music that is all over the place and a joy to listen to.

There's a bit of a theme on this episode of The Comforts of Madness. Don't Panic and hang the DJ, Our Favorite Idiot, Rob Levy, he's not an Agony Freak and this July you might feel like a Lost Boy trying to help Save the Youth of America. But you will surely get a Headrush listening to Episode 28!

I came across DJ Knillz probably around the time he started his Thursday night Twitch show five years ago. He just celebrated by playing an eclectic set of songs for over three hours! Knillz was kind enough to record a live show, not during his regular slot for Eardrum Buzz Radio's Sixth Anniversary Weekend.  It's full of the Shoegaze and Dream Pop you love plus some new finds you're sure to want to get.
