Faith Is a Journey is a Christian podcast for people who believe the Bible but struggle to live it out when life gets messy. We're a husband and wife, not pastors or theologians. Every week we open God's Word and have honest conversations about what it really means to follow Jesus in everyday life. We talk about doubt, marriage, discipline, fear, unanswered prayers, forgiveness, failure, and the gap between what we believe and how we actually live. We simply want to seek God's truth together through His Word. If you're tired of shallow encouragement, church clichés, and conversations that never get below the surface, you're in the right place. Disclaimer: The conversations on this podcast reflect our personal understanding of Scripture and our own experiences following Christ. They are shared for encouragement and discussion and are not a substitute for your own study of Scripture, wise counsel, or professional advice when needed.

In this episode of Faith is a Journey, I share a surprising moment that happened while reading my Bible. After opening to Matthew 22 and reading Jesus' Parable of the Wedding Feast, one verse stopped me in my tracks:
