Speaker 4 (01:00):
And oh yeah, because your middle name is Irish, Ireland, Ireland.

Speaker 8 (01:04):
My mom's Irish. We're super Irish over here, Irish and black.

Speaker 6 (01:07):
That's what we are.

Speaker 4 (01:09):
What is the Irish last name of your family Murphy
oh the way.

Speaker 6 (01:12):
Yeah, yeah, so my grandma's a Murphy.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
You could have been a Peyton Murphy.

Speaker 6 (01:16):
I could have been.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
Well, we took a little vacation.

Speaker 9 (01:21):
We were gone last week and it's funny, I'm reading
these text messages all these a couple of people are
like angry and then we're gone.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Sorry, you guys were just off Christmas Day.

Speaker 9 (01:31):
It was a spring breaker. So normally we're working at
like take any time off, but we end up doing that.
And it was my wife Blake and my son Dutch. Like,
Dutch wanted to go with some of his friends to
Cabo for spring break, right, which is a spring break thing,
and my wife was like no, and a lot of
the other moms were like no. So instead they were
pitched Hawaii because my son Kemp lives there. Kemp pretty

(01:53):
much stays at his girlfriend's house all the time. All
his roommates do. So Kemp set it up so that
Dutch and his friends could stay at his house.

Speaker 5 (02:00):
Right, cool.

Speaker 9 (02:00):
Yeah, So they were laying on the floor, couches, whatever, Right,
So that's what they did. So Jake, my oldest son,
goes to the University of Arizona, He was like, my
spring break is next week, this week right now.

Speaker 4 (02:13):
So we go to Hawaii and it's Blake Me Dutch,
and then we see Kemp right and then we're hanging out.
We're doing stuff in Hawaii, and then Jake calls, guess what,
I screw it up? My spring break is now.

Speaker 5 (02:27):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
So it's like it was like home alone Hawaii, just
so he just stayed.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
He probably loved it, I think so.

Speaker 9 (02:36):
I think he was really really he went, he went
to Tucson, grabbed his Xbox, drove back. Then he was
home all alone for you know.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
That was the whole week.

Speaker 4 (02:44):
I will say. He was like, yeah, like, yeah, I
think you did it on purpose.

Speaker 5 (02:48):
I think my spring breaks next week. Can't go sorry,
Oh yeah, it actually is this week. I'll be home alone.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
Unbelievable.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
I mean, twenty two year old John Jay would love
the house. I love the house in a TV.

Speaker 9 (02:58):
Even right now with thirty eight years. Yeah, it's great.
It's totally great. Anyway, So that was that was last
week for us. What about you, payde what'd you do
for spring break?

Speaker 6 (03:08):
Oh my gosh, I feel like I did a ton
of stuff.

Speaker 8 (03:11):
I got to catch up with a lot of my
friends that were coming into town. But really, like the
one big thing that I did, I went to the
Wicked play on Saturday.

Speaker 5 (03:18):
Yeah, I saw you posted. I was so excited because
your outfit looked amazing. I know you were stressing about
what you were gonna wear to it.

Speaker 6 (03:23):
Yeah, because I'm in my whole rebrand right now.

Speaker 8 (03:25):
So my outfit it's like very not something that I
would ever throw together, but I thought it came out
so cute.

Speaker 6 (03:31):
I was very happy with my look. But the play
was so much fun.

Speaker 8 (03:35):
I actually got the tickets for my mom and my
sister for Christmas, so it's been like three months since
we've been waiting to go to the show. And it
was me and two of my old teammates that I
used to play basketball with them. And then since I
was like in the fifth grade, all of our moms went,
and then my sister and then one of the girl's
grandma's went, So it was eight of us girls just
on whole girls night. We went to Stay forty four

(03:57):
for dinner, we got all dressed up.

Speaker 6 (03:58):
We went to the play and it was a ten
out of ten. It was really it was really okay,
like it was a play.

Speaker 8 (04:04):
So it's like the play itself was two hours and
thirty minutes total for act win in act two, and
like part one of the Wicked movie is the same
amount as the entire runtime of the play.

Speaker 10 (04:14):
That makes sense.

Speaker 8 (04:14):
So I felt like it was very rushed. But then again,
I'm like, this is a play. This isn't a movie,
you know, like I wanted more dialogue.

Speaker 4 (04:21):
Well, the singers good and everything so good.

Speaker 6 (04:23):
It was so impressive.

Speaker 4 (04:24):
Professional actors are That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 6 (04:26):
Yeah, that's what was so impressive.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
Was that was theater actors or no joke, did you hear?

Speaker 3 (04:29):
They were all working out like the Mountainside Fitness over
there where I was getting notes, so like Cas from
wicktson here like Alphabet, It's like totally crushing them.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
Were they in costume?

Speaker 3 (04:39):
But I didn't. I guess it's recognized it from from
being around town.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
What a boy you, Richie?

Speaker 9 (04:43):
I saw you were you you went to you were
hanging out with your lovely bride for her birthday or
your birthday and anniversary.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
We have Stacey and I both have our birthdays in March.
In fact, hers is officially tomorrow. She's the eighteenth, I'm
the eighth, and then we had our anniversaryund the fourth,
so we thought, let's just like ram it all into
one trip. So we had some points to use on
a credit card. So we went to Laguna Beach and
I was so excited because there's a great sushi place
right on Ocean Boulevard. Ooh, and I want to remember

(05:12):
the name of it so people can go there. We're
gonna go there for my birthday, my birthday treat on
March eighth. But somehow I got food poisoning in the morning.
So sushi and food poisoning do not go together in
any way, shape or form. So I tried to rally
and like, let's just go walk over there. Maybe walking
will make me feel better. I got in there and

(05:33):
for the next two hours I was just in the bathroom,
just hurled away at yeah. And you know that was
so bad because people are like, are you okay in there, sir? Yeah,
I'm okay. Your wife's sys happy birthday. I couldn't. I
couldn't get far enough away where I would stop throwing up,
So it felt like it was it wasn't the suit.

(05:54):
I never got that far. So I'm assuming the sushi
is still amazing there, but I did not have any,
but I rallied for that night and then we went
out and we had a great time.

Speaker 9 (06:02):
And I'm so glad to bring up sushi. I heard
a sushi joke yesterday. Yeah, and then it was like
I woke up. I'm a little under the weather right now.
So I was like up all night and I thought,
I wonder if I can tell this joke on the air.
And it's about sushi, so you just perhaps so I
could tell the joke. Amazing, What did Sushi A say
to Sushi B?

Speaker 4 (06:21):
What what Sabby.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
Sa Patrick stage jokes?

Speaker 6 (06:31):
That is a good sushi joke.

Speaker 9 (06:33):
Middle of that the joke. Yeah, I don't know what's
wrong with me. I feel I feel like I got
like I know that my my wife was sick a
while ago. My two of my sons were set actually
all three of them were sack at different times. And
I feel like it's, uh, it's like.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
My what's this right hair? Yeah? I heard so bad
I here so this morning.

Speaker 9 (06:52):
So last night I took I took some desolon right
it's and then robotestin because it didn't work, I took
two different cops and I got up this morning and
I took day quill.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
Oh, yeah, you're gonna be You're gonna be buzzing.

Speaker 4 (07:04):
Okay.

Speaker 9 (07:04):
So then at day quill, right, So then I had
I did I took a steam, I did a cold plungche,
I did a hot tub.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
I did all that before I came in this morning.

Speaker 9 (07:11):
Then I had an energy drink, right, and then I
had a cup of coffee with an espresso shot in it.

Speaker 4 (07:16):
Right.

Speaker 9 (07:16):
And then I'm sitting here thinking, Hey, I wonder if
I can mix that with day quill. I wonder if
you're allowed to say. I google it and it says
do not have coffee at day quill six hours of
each and I'm like, I had all that within a
half hour.

Speaker 4 (07:29):
I think it's like like a caffeine overload or it's
like I.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
Know that's they tell you not to steam when you
have no stuff too. Oh they do, because it's like, well, doctors,
because I've asked about that too, and they say, if
you've got a cough or something like that, it's a
wet environment where the steam creates it makes it wet
in there. Select because.

Speaker 5 (07:52):
That's what I was doing.

Speaker 4 (07:53):
It worked for me. I felt so much. I felt
so much better when I got out of the steam.
I'll tell they that they are wrong.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
Yeah, stupid doctors.

Speaker 11 (08:01):
I know.

Speaker 4 (08:03):
One of the messages we got over the weekend or
over the week while we're on vacation was like, what the.

Speaker 9 (08:07):
Hell happened to three things you need to know? I
listened to it every day, like, well, we were on vacation,
so it didn't happen. So that's that's that's what happened
to it. It's back now, it's what she didn't.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
Need to know.

Speaker 4 (08:18):
Let's tell about the three things you need to know.

Speaker 5 (08:20):
Starbucks is about to have to fork over fifty million dollars.
I'll tell you why next with John Jane rich.

Speaker 6 (08:28):
Is John Jane rich are live on the Free iHeartRadio.

Speaker 4 (08:31):
Appy what he got for three things we need to know?

Speaker 5 (08:33):
The weather has been deadly over the last couple of days.
At least forty people in seven states have died due
to a severe weather outbreak, including tornadoes. At least twelve
deaths were reported in Missouri, the most of any state,
and then weather took its toll in many lives from
Alabama to Kansas, Mississippi, Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma and ultimately
a lot of people misplaced from their homes, powers out

(08:55):
and just completely rigged TAVOC on those states. So definitely
and prayers and outreach is going to be needed for
all of that. It was good news for Sunita Williams
and Butch Wilmore. If you guys remember, they've been stranded
in orbit since June fifth. Their trip to space the
International Space Station was only supposed to be about a week,
but they had problems with their Boeing Starliner and now

(09:17):
they've been there for nine months. Well, this weekend they
were able to see the light at the end of
that tunnel. Elon Musk's SpaceX crew docked at the International
Space Station to bring them home and deliver four new
astronauts to the space station. They'll stay on for a
couple more days, helping to bring the new crew up
up to speed and get them acclimated to the space station,
and then they can return to Earth. Finally, they day

(09:41):
as early as Wednesday, they should be coming back.

Speaker 4 (09:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (09:44):
I wonder if their bones are going to be different,
if gravity's going to feel different, like everything's going to
be different for them, right.

Speaker 5 (09:48):
I don't know. I just think there's going to be
so grateful to be home.

Speaker 7 (09:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (09:52):
So this was a disaster, and there was a case
like this, I think it was like back in nineteen
ninety three or nineteen ninety four against McDonald's where someone
had coffee spilled them and it was too hot, and
they won like three million dollars in damages. So a
court ordered Starbucks on Friday to pay fifty million dollars
in damages to a delivery driver who was severely burned

(10:13):
by spilled beverages. He said they handed the drinks to him,
the lids weren't secured, they spilled in his lap, and
ultimately he suffered severe burns, disfigurement, and debilitating nerve damage
to his nether regions.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 5 (10:25):
His lawsuit ultimately accused Starbucks of breaching their duty of
care by not securing the lids. Starbucks said while they
sympathize with him, they planned to appeal the verdict because
they disagree with the jury's decision that they were at
fault in the incident and believe the damages awarded to
be excessive. I mean, like permanent damage down there. I

(10:47):
don't even know if fifty million dollars is enough, so
we'll wait and see what happens. But as of now,
they got to fork over the money.

Speaker 4 (10:53):
When it happened, and it's spilled on him, right, does
he go that's it?

Speaker 9 (10:56):
I'm going to sue if you call a lawyer Starbucks,
my coffee is spilled my lap, Like, are they going
to go?

Speaker 4 (11:01):
Okay? Like to find somebody that was willing to go
do all that? You know me? Did you take pictures
and everything?

Speaker 11 (11:06):
Like?

Speaker 4 (11:06):
How do you know? You know what I mean?

Speaker 6 (11:07):
I went to the hospital.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
Yeah, you think it was that bad with the hospital? Yeah?

Speaker 10 (11:11):
Yeah, yeah it was.

Speaker 4 (11:13):
Yeah. I don't want that to happen.

Speaker 5 (11:15):
No, And that's three things you need to know.

Speaker 4 (11:18):
You know.

Speaker 9 (11:18):
I was going to talk to you guys about a
couple of things I saw on TV. Either with this
last week. You see what the number one show on
Netflix is. Anyone see it?

Speaker 6 (11:24):
I didn't see it about Adolescens?

Speaker 11 (11:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (11:27):
I started it?

Speaker 4 (11:27):
Did you finish it?

Speaker 8 (11:28):
I'm actually interested. I haven't finished it, but I'm actually
very interested. It's a little slow moving, but I like it.

Speaker 4 (11:34):
I finished it yesterday. Yeah, it's four episodes and it's
really really sad, like it kept me up last night. Adolescence.

Speaker 9 (11:43):
So it's about a thirteen year old boy that is
accused of murder murdering a thirteen year old girl. Here's
the thing that's really really interesting about it, but also
negative about it. It's all shot. Every episode is about
fifty five minutes long, stay an hour long. It's all
shot with one camera all at one time. Like the
acting is so nuts, it's so good, and like you're

(12:04):
watching it, like I it takes me out of the show,
Like I'm like, wait a minute.

Speaker 4 (12:08):
So all these.

Speaker 9 (12:08):
Background people in the background, they're all because the camera
just moves and follows these people. Like this kid gets
arrested and you're in the car with him as he
drives all the way to the police station to get fingerprinted,
and they walk you through that.

Speaker 4 (12:19):
It's all in real time, really good.

Speaker 8 (12:21):
It's like that one scene in The Menandez Brothers when
one of the bands brothers is sitting getting interrogated a
whole it's and that's literally how this how it's shot.
But like I'm with you, John Jay, the dad acting
is so good. When he went and visited the site
of the girl, oh, I lost my mind to started
crying so hard.

Speaker 6 (12:36):
I was like this is crazy. But what I find
really interesting.

Speaker 8 (12:39):
About it is how they're kind of like piecing together
the murder with social media in rights.

Speaker 3 (12:46):
That's ojeez.

Speaker 4 (12:47):
That's the lesson in the whole thing.

Speaker 6 (12:48):
Which is pretty crazy to think about.

Speaker 9 (12:50):
He killed her for whatever reason. He's saying he didn't
do it, so it's it's not even who's done it
at the end. It's just so bizarre. The dad, by
the way, he's the one that created the show. Really,
he created the show and his best friend is the director.

Speaker 6 (13:02):
Phenomenal. He's really good. He's great.

Speaker 4 (13:06):
Really, did you guys watch the number one movie on Netflix?

Speaker 5 (13:08):
What's the number one movie on Netflix?

Speaker 4 (13:10):
Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt. Yeah, it's called Electric State.

Speaker 9 (13:15):
That's about two and a half hours long, and it's
apparently the most expensive movie ever made, was three hundred
and something million dollars to make, and critics are panning it.
But it's doing great on Netflix. I'll watched yesterday and
I was intrigued. That also ended very sad.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
Through the whole thing.

Speaker 9 (13:30):
But it's like it's like it's like toy story. It's
like it takes place in nineteen ninety and these these robots.
There's a war with the robots. Toy Story and Terminator mixed.
It's a war with the humans and the robots, and
the robots are set away and then but then they
come back and there's a big fight it. But like,
you got the guy from Succession, the dad from Succession

(13:50):
on it. You've got Anthony Mackey on it. You've got
Woody Harrelson on it. You've got Chris Pratt, You've got
Million Bobby Brown, You've got Jason Alexander from Seinfeld on
There's so many celebrities on this show, but they're all
voices of robots.

Speaker 4 (14:04):
But yeah, yeah, Graham, Hey.

Speaker 12 (14:07):
Did you watch the parenting on on HBO yet?

Speaker 11 (14:11):
No?

Speaker 12 (14:11):
It's about to a nice gay couple that does like
an Airbnb for their family over the weekend, and it's
haunted and Brian Cox is in it from Succession eighty
Falco is the mom. Brian Cox gets possessed by a demon. Oh,
it's amazing it It's awesome.

Speaker 4 (14:29):
Horse gupe time eight seven seven nine three seven one
four seven to get your signe red paint. What's the
vibe today?

Speaker 8 (14:34):
I'm going to tell you how each zodiac sign acts
when they are in a meeting at.

Speaker 4 (14:38):
Work, shitnon good morning night, what's your sign?

Speaker 3 (14:44):
I'm a pisce.

Speaker 8 (14:45):
Good morning okay, So for my pisces, just like Rich,
when you guys are in a work meeting, you guys
are the daydreamer pisces. You are nodding like you're paying attention,
but if we're being honest, you are fully thinking about
what you're ordering for dinner.

Speaker 6 (14:56):
Later.

Speaker 8 (14:56):
You'll randomly snap back to reality and ask, wait, what
are we talking about forty minutes into the meeting, and
no one has the heart to tell you that we've
already covered it twice.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
I'm usually thinking about like I wonder if Fifth Harmony
will ever get back together.

Speaker 8 (15:12):
Honestly, Rich, I am always very impressed to see you
in a meeting. You always come with a pen and
a paper. I feel like you're always taking notes.

Speaker 4 (15:20):
Okay, I see a Shannon, thank you, what a Mike?

Speaker 12 (15:26):
Good morning?

Speaker 4 (15:28):
What you're saying okay?

Speaker 8 (15:32):
Virgos, You guys are giving like the spreadsheet Overlord and
work meetings. Virgos, you set out an agenda last night
because you actually care about what's going on. You have
a color coded spreadsheet in front of you. You're sight
eyeing everyone who didn't clearly prepare well enough. And if
things start going off topic, expect a dramatic side followed
by a let's stay focused. Honestly, without a virgo, the

(15:53):
meetings would be chaos.

Speaker 11 (15:55):
So true is absolutely all right, Thanks Mike, thank you, Hey,
good morning the Gemini Geminis in the work meetings, you're
the over talker, Gemini, you started answering the question, but somehow.

Speaker 6 (16:12):
Now you're hearing.

Speaker 8 (16:13):
Now we're hearing about your wild weekend. So you're like, wait,
one more thing, at least five more times. And let's
be honest, you're kind of carrying the meetings. If there's
a brainstorming session, you are thriving. But also, Geminis, you
might just need to let someone else get a word in.
Next time you're at a work meeting.

Speaker 13 (16:29):
Boy, that just me they just need to be clear
because I hate it.

Speaker 8 (16:39):
How about for libras Leever, Kyle, you are the peacemaker
at the work meetings.

Speaker 6 (16:44):
Libra, you're here to keep the vibes good.

Speaker 8 (16:46):
You're hyping up every idea, even the bad ones, and
you're probably texting the group chat trying to figure out
lunch plans instead of actually paying attention. If there's tension,
you'll compliment someone's outfit just to reset the energy.

Speaker 6 (16:58):
What about Leo's Leo's we give the meeting main character.
Leo's we came prepared.

Speaker 8 (17:04):
We have ideas, a PowerPoint of vision, and if people
start getting off track, you're the one saying.

Speaker 6 (17:09):
Let's circle back to my point.

Speaker 8 (17:11):
And if the boss says that's a great idea, Leo,
your whole work week is made.

Speaker 6 (17:15):
You didn't just attend this meeting. You started it, all right.

Speaker 9 (17:18):
If we get to your sign that, I'll post it
on our website, John Jaynrich dot com. So it is
Monday to Saint Patrick's Day. So I have a little
game for you guys, because it's all right since it
is Saint Patrick's Day. I have a little friend who's
a leprechaun, and I had the leprechaun sing some of

(17:40):
the biggest hits in the world, and you.

Speaker 4 (17:43):
Guys have to guess what hit it is. Okay, all right, Peyton,
this was for you.

Speaker 6 (17:49):
First, I was in a shit dress to daily.

Speaker 14 (17:54):
Next we were.

Speaker 6 (17:55):
Bought a carpenter.

Speaker 15 (17:56):
Don't for a sake, you're a friend hit me up
so we could connect.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
And what are the odds.

Speaker 15 (18:02):
You send me a text and now the thing I know,
I'm like manifest that you're overs.

Speaker 4 (18:10):
Yeah, this is a pretty.

Speaker 5 (18:14):
We were both on a rush.

Speaker 9 (18:20):
It's hard right, Like listen to the beginning again because
it's dead on. It's like it blew me away.

Speaker 6 (18:26):
I digress got me.

Speaker 4 (18:29):
That's the very end of uh Kyle? What song is this?

Speaker 5 (18:40):
What's going all over town?

Speaker 6 (18:42):
Can't keep my name out?

Speaker 15 (18:43):
Then mount these days? Yeah, they say I live too
fast to settled down through this. I just ain't buddies
games they all play. I want to find something stronger than.

Speaker 6 (18:54):
The whiskey and all.

Speaker 15 (18:55):
I tried, but every time I feel her kiss.

Speaker 6 (18:58):
Me, I kept coming up.

Speaker 4 (19:00):
Yeah, do you know.

Speaker 6 (19:05):
I was What did you say I was thinking of?
I had some help or whatever. That's all.

Speaker 4 (19:15):
Can't keep mind the world. Okay, here's another one. This
goes to you, Rich.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
I can't be said that I'm an early bird.

Speaker 15 (19:30):
It's cann o'clock before I say the word. Maybe I
can never tell.

Speaker 6 (19:35):
How do you sleep so well? You keep killing me.

Speaker 15 (19:39):
To live right? Can go to bed before the daylight,
but then you.

Speaker 6 (19:43):
Wake up for the sun.

Speaker 4 (19:45):
Before you answer, Rich, do you guys know Rich it's Hosier,
can't be.

Speaker 5 (19:53):
I need to listen to the lyrics. I need the music.

Speaker 9 (20:00):
All right, Peyton, this was for you. I think this
is and this is such a great song. But the
lepracaunt ruins it.

Speaker 5 (20:06):
Oh, I could go and read.

Speaker 15 (20:08):
Your mind, think about your dumb face all the time
living here in a glasshouse.

Speaker 6 (20:12):
I'm outside.

Speaker 4 (20:14):
Oh, look in the big blue eyes.

Speaker 15 (20:18):
Did it just hurt me?

Speaker 6 (20:20):
Make me cry?

Speaker 15 (20:21):
Smiling through it all?

Speaker 6 (20:22):
You that's my life.

Speaker 15 (20:24):
You're an idiot, now, I'm sure. Now I'm positive I
should go and want her. Ooh, bet you're thinking she shunk.
Can get back on your counts making eyes from you?

Speaker 4 (20:39):
Got nothing.

Speaker 6 (20:40):
I don't know. Maybe I'll live your archery though.

Speaker 5 (20:44):
You think about you don't face.

Speaker 3 (20:51):
The leper counts real good.

Speaker 9 (20:54):
Anyway, that's my full little game. By the way, Oh,
because there's behind and speeded Gracie Abrams. Her dad is
JJ Abrams, right, who's a famous director. He did the
TV show Lost, right and Rich. We were very vocal
about how much we hate Lost.

Speaker 3 (21:11):
So literally was talking about it a great length with
my wife last night because I was afraid that Severance
was going to have the same sort of ending as Lost.

Speaker 9 (21:19):
Okay, So I'm in Hawaii for the last week, and
where we find this little random cafe and we went
there two days. In our life, you know, I could
go there every single day, and my wife gets burned
out right away. So two days we go there and
it's just local people that are there, and ended up
talking to the people to own the place, and they
have a picture of this beautiful yellow lab. He's surfing
on the surfboard and the pictures of me wearing The

(21:41):
dog's name was Pono, and the dog passed away, but
it was a dog from season three Have Lost. The kid,
the little Black Kid had the dog on the island
all the time, and that kid is the one that
was half of m kt O.

Speaker 4 (21:53):
Yes they did that song.

Speaker 3 (21:54):
Yeah anyways, so classic.

Speaker 4 (21:56):
Yes, I kind of felt like, Wow.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
I was class actual does there's actual dog?

Speaker 4 (22:01):
Because they filmed that they're on in the Hawaii they
film Lost, And.

Speaker 3 (22:04):
Why did you complain about the ending in the restaurant?
I've lost?

Speaker 4 (22:07):
But then get this all of a sudden, now when
I get on Instagram, I have all these videos of
Lost that pop up on my phone.

Speaker 3 (22:14):
Now it's all lost stuff.

Speaker 4 (22:16):
There's like a documentary on Lost.

Speaker 9 (22:17):
There's all this stuff on Lost, and I'm like, oh
my god, Like it's all because I had a conversation
is Cafe about the TV show Lost and now speaking
of Severns, So you said you think it might be
like Lost.

Speaker 3 (22:28):
Well, I finished season one last night, so I know
I'm kind of late to the party, and you guys
are deep in the season two. But they did give
me answers at the end of season one, and I
am totally in. But that is such a slow burn
that you have to pay attention to everything on that show,
including the way they frame stuff, like everything's symmetric when

(22:49):
they're we're in there in the office of that show.
Even colors the colors too, because you notice that that, uh,
I forgot Helly on the show. The moment she starts
like fighting back, she starts wearing a different color dress.
It's a yellow dress instead of the typical colors. Like,
all of it makes sense. All of it ties together.
So to me, now it is the opposite of Loss
because they're actually tying everything together.

Speaker 4 (23:10):
Well, the season one are you started seeing two?

Speaker 5 (23:12):
Kyle, I'm midway through, but I'm waiting for like the
rest of the episodes to drop, like the like, i
want the end of season two to drop and then
I'm going.

Speaker 4 (23:21):
To sea this Friday.

Speaker 5 (23:22):
Yeah, okay, and I'll binge it then. But it's like
for me watching the show, you have to binge it
and you can't judge it until you're.

Speaker 9 (23:28):
Completely what I am two episodes behind in the last
couple episodes to me, very very difficult to get through,
really like not good.

Speaker 5 (23:37):
So the whole first season I said that almost every episode,
and then when I was done watching the first season,
I was like, I can't wait for the second.

Speaker 4 (23:45):
I know you think about it a lot, but this
episode the season, I'm kind of like, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (23:49):
Maybe I'm stuck in my head.

Speaker 4 (23:50):
Though all of the season one fabulous, stuck in season
one makes you think about it.

Speaker 9 (23:53):
I was talking about I went on a little hike
with my wife yesterday. By way, I learned some of them,
and I was hiking with my wife. She asked me
about the seventh show, which is hard to explain to somebody. Yeah,
I pitch it to her.

Speaker 4 (24:01):
I do it.

Speaker 9 (24:01):
I think I do a pretty good job. In the
less than a minute, she goes, it reminds me of
a book. I just finished reading, and the rest of
the hike is her telling me about the book. I
gave you a one, Oh my god, one minute, Oh
my god, yeah one, I told you. Here's how this
shows about very simple.

Speaker 6 (24:15):
You need to help her.

Speaker 5 (24:16):
Set up Blake's book club, because then she could have
those conversations with people that actually.

Speaker 6 (24:21):
Like invest in what you say.

Speaker 4 (24:24):
Got a wake up.

Speaker 9 (24:29):
And Rich wake you up stime for stacks and hacks.
I have stax information. Rich has life hacks for Saint
Patrick's day.

Speaker 4 (24:37):
Google looked at the green foods and drinks each state
search for more than any other state. Mississippi and Louisiana
are putting booze in their shamrock shakes, Arizona's making green spaghetti,
and California is going full on Doctor Seuss the green
eggs and ham. Thank you. The world's biggest Big Mac
fan hit another milestone. Seventy one year old Don Gorsky

(24:58):
has been eating two big Macs day for fifty three years.

Speaker 9 (25:01):
He just ate his thirty fifth thousand big Back on Saturday. Jeez,
that's a lot of big he's doing.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
Okay, Like that's a that's a good form apparently, But I.

Speaker 6 (25:10):
Say I had to slow down to one a day
for three days.

Speaker 4 (25:13):
Here grabbing me nuts.

Speaker 3 (25:16):
I guess it's definitely thirty.

Speaker 4 (25:18):
That's crazy man. A driver in Switzerland was finding nearly
one hundred and ten thousand dollars for driving too close
to the vehicle in front of him. The fine was
so high because in Switzerland fees are based on your
taxable income.

Speaker 9 (25:32):
So the guy was like a millionaire or something. Just
pullower that would make you slow down. Yeah, I'll bet
you they did that. Here people be driving a lot slower.
A study found chewing on your pencil gives your brain
a boost, improves memory, might help you focus. You got
that Google thing right, Google assistant, Google Assistant. Yeah, so

(25:53):
Google is officially retiring its assistant tool in migrating users
to its AI power Gemini.

Speaker 4 (25:59):
You have Gemini, I think.

Speaker 5 (26:01):
So let's know, I just do I don't know whatever. Okay,
Google is yeah, to get.

Speaker 13 (26:05):
Rid of that.

Speaker 4 (26:06):
So now even AI is putting non human assistance out
of work. Get this.

Speaker 9 (26:12):
California, a California startup is selling injectable cannabis.

Speaker 4 (26:17):
It's not and the FDA is not happy about it.

Speaker 5 (26:20):
Sounds you know, I'm like, seems like a hazard.

Speaker 9 (26:24):
Rumors spread through Facebook last week about it escaped gorilla
at the Virginia Zoo.

Speaker 4 (26:27):
There was one problem. The zoo doesn't have any.

Speaker 3 (26:30):
Gorillas, not anymore escape.

Speaker 4 (26:32):
Okay, so Saint Patrick's date, What do you think is
the most popular color worldwide?

Speaker 5 (26:37):
Green?

Speaker 4 (26:38):
Blue?

Speaker 3 (26:40):
Blue?

Speaker 6 (26:40):
Does not?

Speaker 16 (26:40):
Wait?

Speaker 5 (26:41):
Just are those two separate statements, like it's Saint Patrick's
Day done? What's the most popular?

Speaker 4 (26:47):
I was leading you down to pathopic green?

Speaker 5 (26:49):
It's rude.

Speaker 8 (26:50):
I think that there's like some statistic that like when
Saint Patrick's Day started, like they like turned a river
a different color that wasn't green, Like I don't know
how green because.

Speaker 3 (26:59):
The river was green in Ireland. Then they turned to green.

Speaker 6 (27:03):
There's I don't know. I'll have to get back here.

Speaker 4 (27:04):
Chicago does greens number two, blues number one color green
a mayhem is efficiently to Goga's seventh number one album.
And Tonight the twenty twenty five iHeartRadio Music Awards eight
pm on Fox, hosted by El COOLJ, Bad Buddies performing
Bill the Alish Gorilla, Gracie Abrams, Kenny Chesty and Nelly
Well make sure what you got for life? Hats rich.

Speaker 3 (27:25):
I'm wondering how many of you in this room right
after you eat go and brush your teeth. Anybody very rare? Well,
you're doing it right. If you're one of the people
who goes and brushes your teeth right after a big meal,
the experts to teeth people say stop, just stop it,
because brushing your teeth right after eating it can actually
damage your enamel instead of protecting it. Why you may

(27:47):
ask me, because acidic foods, like fruit or soda, it
actually softens your enamel. So when you start brushing, you
can actually damage your teeth. So what you want to
do is if you wipe the brush after you do that,
just don't do that. Use go straight to the mouthwash
switching around for thirty seconds, or choose some sugar free gum.
Either one of those will keep your pearly whites pearly white.

(28:08):
And that can be found that little tip there. That
hack is on John jayn Rich dot com.

Speaker 17 (28:11):
If Chaos was a radio show you're listening to it
meats John Jay and Ridge.

Speaker 4 (28:18):
John J. Rich. Shoot us at tax text JJR whatever's
on your mind to nine six eight nine three.

Speaker 9 (28:24):
You can also call us eight seven seven nine three
seven one oh four seven. Last week, we took a
little time off for spring break. I really enjoyed watching
Kyle's social media to see the stuff you're doing with
your dad.

Speaker 4 (28:35):
Your dad's still here.

Speaker 5 (28:36):
He is still here. So him and my stepmom, they've
actually been planning this trip here for about a year,
and they started by looking to find maybe like a
vacation rental that they could rent for the month of March.
But like, March is a really crazy time because everyone
wants to come to Arizona for March. We have great
weather and and all the thing, it's been rainy. But yeah,

(28:57):
so that was really like turning out to be a
pretty expensive ventures. So me and my sisters we said, hey,
why don't you spend ten days at Lisa's house, ten
days at my house, and ten days at Erika's house,
and then you don't have to pay for an airbab.
It's like silly for you to come here and have
to pay for when we've got places for you to stay.

(29:18):
So ultimately they agreed, they said, okay, but ten days
seems like a lot. Like, you guys are not gonna
want us around anymore. You're never gonna want us to
come back, and We're like, no, it's gonna be fine.
So they stayed at my sister's house the first ten days,
and last week they came to our house. And it
was funny because Scott and I are like, they're coming
back in May for my niece's graduation, and we're like,
we want them to stay with us, Like I want

(29:39):
my dad to stay with me because then I get
more time with him, you know what I mean. So
we're like, we got to make this stay really great
for them. So when they come back, they choose our
house for the shorter vacation. So now it's unbeknounced to
my sisters, this is a total competition. So they stayed
at my sister's house for the first ten days, they

(30:00):
stay at our house. We moved one of our cars
out of the garage so they could stay in the garage, right,
and they're like, we get to stay in the garage, Like,
of course, that's what happens when you stay here. My
stepmom is like, she's very like she's she's a little
ocd about certain things. So preparing for her to come,
like we had to replace the air filters, we had to,

(30:21):
like Scott like really super cleaned out the coffee machine. Like,
we did all the things that we had to do,
and the second day they were staying with us, she
came and she was like, we may have a problem.
And I'm like, oh, great, there's a problem. You're never
gonna want to stay with us again. And apparently in
the guest bathroom which they're staying at, the cold water

(30:42):
doesn't really work. And this is something I guess Scott
kind of knew about, like you have to if you
want cold water in that bathroom, brush your teeth or
do whatever, you gotta use it really quick because it
goes hot super fast. You can't get the cold water back.
It's something with like the mixers or something. And both
of us are like, it's not a big enough problem
for us to have to pay all this money to

(31:03):
get it fixed, because we think it's going to be
a big issue. So they come in and I was like,
maybe time to save up to get those mixers fixed.

Speaker 3 (31:11):
We have a fix.

Speaker 5 (31:12):
We can have it fixed by May.

Speaker 4 (31:13):
When they come there, missus, Derek is like, hey, Dad,
we got cold water here.

Speaker 8 (31:17):
Yeah, I was gonna have you and your sisters give
similar energy. So do you think that also when they
have had your dad and your stepmom saying that they
are also trying to Heck, yeah.

Speaker 5 (31:29):
My sister spent seven hundred dollars a cleaner before they
showed up. But yeah, oh yeah, Like none of us
have talked about this, but I'm pretty sure we're all
doing the same things. You got to open impressed.

Speaker 9 (31:44):
I wonder if the's anybody they can help, Like if
every day breakfast is catered at your house, that's just
the way we wake up your dad, so.

Speaker 5 (31:51):
You get home to stay here, I mean, you might
want to consider staying with us.

Speaker 3 (31:54):
You have a maker daily professional tell massage, no problem,
we got it. Sure, come on, I think that's amazing. Like, so,
now have they said anything like you spoiled us, We're
gonna want to stay here more often anything like that.

Speaker 5 (32:06):
We kind of hinted at the fact that we're like,
we want we want their stay to be great, like
they they've never done this, and we want it to
be like a yearly thing. We wanted to be a
tradition for them to come and stay at least for
a week at a time or whatever they've done. But
my stepmom has now started giving us star ratings for
certain things will be like like I've been getting like

(32:32):
dessert every night. She's like, oh, this dessert may bring
you up to a six star hotel. All right, The little.

Speaker 8 (32:40):
Golden starstickers at the teachers give to like all the
elementary kids, like gold star for yes.

Speaker 4 (32:46):
Six star hotels? Good? Was Erica's.

Speaker 3 (32:53):
Making your own food?

Speaker 4 (32:54):
Or is your dad a big golfer? Like oh yeah,
so we got to do something with that.

Speaker 5 (32:59):
This past weekend they just went golf, like they were like,
what do you want to do. It's the kid's spring break. Oh,
let's do popstroke. Of course has to do with golf.
Everything we do has to do with golf. They went
golfing yesterday pretty much all day and then I think
he's going to take like Easton, my seven year old,
he loves golf too, and he was like really bummed
because it's like my dad went, his dad went right,
and then like Easton didn't get to go, and so

(33:21):
Wednesday they're going golfing. It's like, so it's the whole thing.

Speaker 4 (33:25):
Get a hold of Bob Parsons, you know, he owns
his own private golf course. Yeah, and see if we
can get Kyle's dad on there. And then dad, we
just just on Wednesdays, as long as it's golf, private
golf course with me stay here, you stay at the
unfugged House.

Speaker 5 (33:40):
About ten stars now going for ten?

Speaker 4 (33:42):
Like what other things can we provide to blow them away? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (33:46):
I know, And like I said, it's unspoken, but I mean, yeah,
I've noticed things. There's signs, there's signs that everyone else
is getting trying to be as prepared as we are.

Speaker 4 (33:55):
For sure.

Speaker 3 (33:56):
Maybe you can house cleaning, it's pretty dead.

Speaker 4 (34:00):
Hey what you said you got into some tooth thing right?

Speaker 8 (34:02):
Yeah, so I have been really wanting tooth gems but
like it's so like tooth gems are so expensive because
like you have to go into like kind of a
dentist because they like medically like glue the gem onto
a you go to. I think you go to a
dentist with someone that's certified to be able to do it. Anyways,
I got on Amazon and I ordered ordered myself a
little tooth gem kit.

Speaker 4 (34:23):
Could you do that to Kyle's dad?

Speaker 6 (34:24):
Yeah, I'll give him a grow get.

Speaker 4 (34:26):
Yeah, just comes when you stay here, dad, free tooth gems?
What are you doing it? Do you have it?

Speaker 6 (34:35):
Well? I woke up this morning with no tooth gems,
so I think I swallowed them.

Speaker 4 (34:40):
Oh, you put them on the bed last night. What
did you what did you put on? What would you have?
Did you put a little diamond?

Speaker 5 (34:46):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (34:46):
I had two diamonds like on the side of my teeth,
and I woke up and there was no diamonds.

Speaker 4 (34:52):
That's why does it.

Speaker 6 (34:54):
They're a little bit of a learning curve.

Speaker 8 (34:56):
But my real problem is is because you get this
little UV light and when you glue it and you
do the prepp or whatever, it's like basically the same
UV light that they put your braces on, right, and
you have to hold it there for four three to
four minutes, And I can't sit still for three to
four minutes and hold a light up to my tooth.

Speaker 4 (35:13):
More gems, yet, you have a lot more gems, thousands.

Speaker 6 (35:15):
Don't worry about me. I'm gonna figure it out.

Speaker 5 (35:18):
I feel like all you need to do is like
put the light on your tooth gem and then not
worry about the like set a timer and then just
start scrolling on TikTok or Instagram because you could ten
you can. Twenty minutes goes by and you feel like
it's two seconds sometimes.

Speaker 6 (35:31):
Right, yeah. I tried that and for some reason, the
light kept going like up into my eye.

Speaker 4 (35:36):
Did you take a picture of the tooth gems before
you at all?

Speaker 6 (35:39):
Like, but I'll do like a whole Maybe I'll do
like a tutorial thing on.

Speaker 4 (35:44):
Your tooth, the ones that you ate, I like for
you to find those, and then the.

Speaker 6 (35:51):
It's coming out.

Speaker 4 (35:53):
Geez.

Speaker 8 (35:55):
Anyways, I'm gonna have I'm gonna be iced out and
diamonds all over my teeth and probably ruining my enamel.

Speaker 5 (36:00):
But it's fine, because how do you get him off?
Do they give you like a removal kit with the
kit to pill on? But do you feel like there's
like glue left on your tooth?

Speaker 8 (36:09):
I don't feel like there's glue left on my tooth,
but I am concerned with how many gems I may
be small.

Speaker 9 (36:17):
Over the weekend on vacation, I don't know what happened overnight.
I thought I had I cracked a tooth or I
had some serious toothpain, like I was. It was like
the second day we were in Hawaii, and I was like,
that's a just vacation's ruined.

Speaker 4 (36:28):
I couldn't it hurt so bad? This one tooth?

Speaker 9 (36:31):
I was googling tooth issues what it could be, and
I figured it was a crack tooth and I was
gonna call my dentist. I told my wife, I'm probably
have to go home the super kit. You find a
dentist here, and I'm like, what are my tooth falls
out because it's like a I think I have a
veneer on it.

Speaker 4 (36:44):
I'm not sure, but it was terrible. Toothpain is terrible,
and then the next day it was fine.

Speaker 3 (36:48):
Really hasn't since.

Speaker 8 (36:52):
He has like these like little like they look like cracks,
like little like yeah, literally like what you're talking about.
He says, like every now and then or it's like
excruciating pain. And I'm like, well, maybe you need like
a root canal or something. And then it goes away
the next day.

Speaker 9 (37:04):
Yeah, okay, So I googled root canal, don't want that.
It was a terrible don't want that. But it was
like but it literally went was gone the next day.
I've never had a toothache ever in my entire life.

Speaker 6 (37:14):
It's gonna come back. You should probably go get that checked.

Speaker 4 (37:16):
Yeah, I was thinking about.

Speaker 3 (37:17):
It, but yeah, you both need to go see professionals.

Speaker 5 (37:22):
It's going to be a dentist schwanding day coming up.

Speaker 9 (37:26):
To handle your tooth searchery yourself. My dentist walks his
dogs in front of my house. I have to wait
time a right and then be hey, take a.

Speaker 3 (37:34):
Look at this style.

Speaker 18 (37:35):
You don't want to meet anybody in office. John Jay
wants to meet him in the street. Taken examine of
the street. All right, it's only Saint Patrick's day today.
Happy Saint Patrick's Day. Uh, we're gonna talk to Desi.
She has a question about her relationship. We love relationship advice,
so we'll get to that after Moon five.

Speaker 4 (37:56):
J Rich DESI, good morning, Hi, good morning, Hi. Thanks. Hold,
sorry about that. Okay, what's going on.

Speaker 7 (38:04):
Well, here's the thing I've been I'm not actumed to
admit it. I've been really into older men, okay, and
I don't know. There's just something about like their confidence.

Speaker 13 (38:16):
Their stability.

Speaker 7 (38:18):
I don't know, the way that they actually plan dates,
you know, instead of like texting me late night and
just being like you up. So when I started dating
my boyfriend, who is actually this like ridiculously successful forty
two year old, he's charming, he's really generous, he absolutely
adores me. I basically hit the jackpot. You know, he

(38:40):
whins and dines me, he spoils me, you know, he
tells me how lucky he is to have me. But
then here's the thing. There's one one problem. He still
wears box or briefs. And like when I say boxer briefs,
I mean like not the cool kind. I'm talking like
they're really stretched out, like probably from a multi packed kind.

(39:01):
Like they look like tidy, whitey type underwear right until
every time I see them, I feel like I'm dating
someone who's just like this, like suburban dad or something
who just mowed the lawn. I don't know, Like I
feel like it shouldn't bother me this much, but like
I get flashbacks of it in my head as the
days go on in the week, I I just don't

(39:22):
know what to do, and I've I've been dropping hints,
you know, I'm saying, like, hey, like you should really
check out these types of underwear, like this style is
really cool. I even gave him a pair of something
so much better, but he doesn't wear them. He's like
loyal to these like tragic midlife crisis underwear. And I
don't know. Now I'm like having to ask myself. Can
I look process and live in luxury? Or am I

(39:43):
truly this shallow?

Speaker 4 (39:45):
May I jump in first?

Speaker 16 (39:46):
Sure?

Speaker 4 (39:47):
The undeath I am, And I'm going through this right now. Actually,
I have underwear that I've worn for a lot of time.
It's all stressed out and it's all but I use
my underwear like I know when I'm gonna wear it
for certain parts of the day, like you know, like
I have my routine right Like I when I sleep
in my underwear, I get up and I go in
the hot tub, cold plunge in that pair of underwear.
So in the middle of the day, when I change underwear,

(40:10):
I'm looking for my beat up underwear because I'm only
gonna wear it overnight. Does that make sense? I know
when I and I love my underwear, and my wife
when she starts seeing it like torn up a little bit,
she throws it away and it kills me. It's like,
I'm like, where's my comfort underwear? Like I have certain
unwerar of comfort now, Daisy, I say this to you
because I want to be like color right now. So
you're looking at it all wrong. At least it's just

(40:31):
within you and him. He's not wearing like sandals with
black socks out in public. At least it's not something
out in public. It's within yourself in the bedroom. You know,
it's only you and him, that's true. Something terrible like
whatever is a horrible fashion trend? What's a horrible fashion trend?

Speaker 11 (40:45):
Right now?

Speaker 4 (40:45):
You'd hate to see your like checkered striped shirt, checkered
shorts and black socks and sandals, be like WHOA sure?

Speaker 7 (40:52):
But like this is like, like how am I supposed
to get in the mood when I see that?

Speaker 5 (40:59):
I just gave you the answer, and I don't think
you realized you did. You said your wife when they
get old, and tingy just throws them away. So that's
what I'm not commend to you. Does he just throw
them away?

Speaker 16 (41:09):
Weird?

Speaker 5 (41:09):
I don't know where those went. You should get those
ones that I give you. They're so hot.

Speaker 4 (41:12):
So let me tell you what how right you are?
Because what happens when I'm going to put my underwear on,
like where's that underwors manware? I'm probably not clean yet,
And I just put on another pair underware and then
it was like weeks and finally ago she through those
and now I haven't talked to her about it.

Speaker 9 (41:25):
I haven't talked about it, but now I just as
I'm telling you the story. Right before I tell you
my story, I realized she'd thrown them away.

Speaker 5 (41:31):
Yes or not?

Speaker 13 (41:31):
Sure?

Speaker 3 (41:32):
Every Christmas I buy myself about twenty new pair and
then the the other ones they get tossed because they
got about a year's worth of life. So you gotta
find the pair that he's like, These are really good,
these are really comfortable. You buy ten twenty pair, your set,
everything else goes away.

Speaker 4 (41:47):
I'm gonna buy a pair right now. I need to underwear.
So anyway, fun conversation, does it? You got a great guy?
So what if he hays ugly underwear?

Speaker 12 (41:56):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (41:58):
Yeah, I'm gonna know what I'm gonna take your So
I'm just gonna throw him out.

Speaker 6 (42:01):
Really past it. And you live in luxury girl, you
deserve it.

Speaker 13 (42:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 16 (42:08):
Okay, thank you so much.

Speaker 4 (42:11):
Thank you, have a great day.

Speaker 3 (42:12):
Bye you too, buye.

Speaker 2 (42:19):
Ever since I was a kids.

Speaker 4 (42:28):
One four seven Kiss FM. John Day and Rich Good morning, Erica,
good morning. What's going on? Thanks for holding.

Speaker 13 (42:35):
So my boyfriend? Well now, now, my ex boyfriend broke
up with me last night because I cut my hair short.

Speaker 5 (42:45):
How dare he?

Speaker 13 (42:48):
Yeah, apparently he didn't want people to think I was gay?
What Yeah? I mean I wish I was joking, but
apparently my hairstyle was too much for his fragile masculinity
to handle, and instead of dealing with it like a
like a normal person, he decided to just end the
relationship very abruptly.

Speaker 5 (43:08):
That's insane, Like how short did you cut it?

Speaker 6 (43:10):
What does it look like?

Speaker 13 (43:12):
I mean, it's in in between a bob and a
pixie cut too.

Speaker 5 (43:16):
I'm thinking, like camera Rose, like did you shave your head?

Speaker 6 (43:20):
Yeah, that's actually looks super cute. Yeah, if it's envisioning
what I'm envisioning that, yeah, like bob.

Speaker 13 (43:25):
Yeah, yeah, it's like I call it like my like
two thy fourteen Jack white haircut. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (43:33):
I can see that a rock and roll I look
on a rock and roll.

Speaker 13 (43:36):
But I mean, I just I just don't understand how
my haircut is a reflection of his identity. I mean,
it shouldn't be absolutely and I just think the whole
thing is so ridiculous. I don't even know whether to
be upset or relieved. I'm just kind of in shock
right now.

Speaker 7 (43:55):
I would say relieved because honestly.

Speaker 5 (43:57):
Like, there was probably other issues for him to make
that be what ended the relationship. So he's probably like
hiding his feelings from you, which doesn't really bode well
for a long term relationship.

Speaker 19 (44:08):
Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 13 (44:10):
I mean I should be relieved, you know, and knowing
now as opposed to later on that's something so minor
as my hair, you know, could be a deal breaker
for him.

Speaker 4 (44:20):
Well, you know, you said something and then you said
something else, and I'm misunderstanding someone being cleared to for me.
You say he didn't like your haircut because he thinks
I makes you look gay.

Speaker 13 (44:30):
Yeah, he thinks I look really like yeah, like I'm
into chicks or that I'm yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (44:38):
But then but then you said but then you said, wait,
but then you said, what does your haircut have to
do with his identity?

Speaker 9 (44:43):
That's why I thought maybe he thought you didn't want
to get a short haircuts and people think he was
gay from far away?

Speaker 13 (44:49):
Oh oh yeah, you.

Speaker 4 (44:52):
Said his identity, So I didn't know what you were
talking about.

Speaker 13 (44:54):
That's a good question, right, Well, yeah, I guess he
doesn't want to think that he was gay.

Speaker 4 (45:00):
Did he tell you he was gay or that you
were gay.

Speaker 2 (45:04):
Well, he said that he didn't.

Speaker 13 (45:06):
He did say that he didn't want people to think
that he was gay because now he thinks that I
look like I am. I'm not feminine.

Speaker 3 (45:16):
That a little bit of yeah, okay.

Speaker 4 (45:18):
Now I will say I and like, I would hope
that if my wife was going to cut off all
her hair, we would have a conversation about it.

Speaker 6 (45:25):
That's what I was going to ask. Did you let
him know?

Speaker 8 (45:27):
Because I mean, obviously that is wrong, like you cutting
your hair should not be the reason that you know
your man leaves you.

Speaker 6 (45:33):
But did you tell him? Did he feel caught off
guard or anything like that?

Speaker 13 (45:37):
I mean, he knew I was going to get a haircut.
I didn't tell him that I was going, you know,
super short.

Speaker 9 (45:43):
He should have understood, because I think girls don't say haircut.
Girls going to get my hair done.

Speaker 4 (45:51):
Haircut? He should be like, whoa, whoa, whoa whoa.

Speaker 3 (45:56):
Was it long and luxurious before? And maybe that was
a big part of why you was into you?

Speaker 7 (46:01):
It was, but it was damaged.

Speaker 13 (46:04):
I mean, part of the reason I went shorter than
I originally anticipated was I want to change, but I
really needed to hack off several inches to get my
hair healthy.

Speaker 3 (46:12):
You know, did you just walk away from the phone
to go comb your hair? Is that what just happened there?

Speaker 13 (46:20):
Uh no, I just I'm sorry. I'm just I'm kind
of like a dread pasting. I don't know if you
do that, Okay, totally, yeah, I don't know it's something
that I do. But yeah, I mean I just had
to cut off, like you know, probably at least like
four more inches than I anticipated doing. But I I

(46:42):
slipping love it, And I just think he's such a jerk,
you know, I just I honestly, I mean, like I said,
I'm in shock, but I do kind of feel like,
you know what, good riddence, dude.

Speaker 4 (46:53):
Just you know, I think we should take a pull.
I think I wonder if there's situations like this where
it worked out or if women did guys break up
with you because you cut your hair? Did women break
up with guys because they didn't like their haircut, especially
like if you're married, Like you know what I mean,
Like if my wife just shaved off her head, well
shaved her head, cut off her head and she's lying

(47:13):
up blood everywhere, headless, Oh my god, you should tell
you them. But like, if she shaved her head, I
would hope there'd be a conversation about it. If she
just did it without talking to me, I don't know
how I feel, which is weird. I'm spaking out to
my feelings how I feel.

Speaker 3 (47:26):
I was sick of the same thing. It's like that
would be a tough one. I don't think you'd break up,
but she'd be like, oh, is that going to grow back?
Is a certain new thing, like what you'd at least
have thoughts about it. You couldn't just be like it's fine.
You'd have thoughts, you'd have feelings. I think it also
depends on where you are in the relationship. If you're
just dating, like right now, you can be like, screw you, dude,
I'm out of here. But like, I don't think I
would shave my head before talking to my wife. And

(47:47):
if I did shave my head, it would grow back
really fast, you know what I mean. Like with girls,
it's a whole different program. You have long, long hair,
and then you shave it off.

Speaker 13 (47:56):
It still grows back, it does it just has it
is just it's just hair.

Speaker 4 (48:01):
You're right, you're right, But I can kind of get it.

Speaker 5 (48:03):
I kind of get Sometimes it can change a total
look of a person and then it's like you're dating
someone else. It is the stranger.

Speaker 8 (48:10):
But the beauty of like being a woman, especially for
me because I can wear my hair straight and I'm
a different person, curly, different person, braives, different person.

Speaker 4 (48:17):
Hello, Erica, thank you for calling in.

Speaker 13 (48:21):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 4 (48:22):
Eight seven seven ninety seven one four seven.

Speaker 9 (48:25):
If someone's broken up with you because if a haircut,
or you broke up with someone because they cut your
hair off, you want to know or a different version
of that, whatever hits you, call us at eight seven
seven ninety seven.

Speaker 4 (48:33):
Four seven John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 9 (48:41):
Ariel has a great, great question, and I believe that
Rich might be the only person qualified. Maybe not, I
don't know. Let's see. Maybe we'll learn some new things
about people on the show. Ariel, good morning, good morning.

Speaker 19 (48:56):
What was your Oh My question is I want to
know what people's stances. So I'm divorced and my son
is seven. He has beautiful, beautiful hair and I like
to keep it long. He's also a hockey player, since
he's got kind of like a mullet going on and
he pulls it off great. But my ex husband called

(49:19):
me a couple of weeks ago, and he's done this
before where he didn't ask me where my son had
really long hair, and he buzzed the whole thing off,
and I was livid, is furious, because I feel like
people's hair have a lot to do with like their personality,
and and my son loves his hair too, but I
wanted to know what people's stance was on like an

(49:44):
ex cutting a child's hair without telling you, because I
feel like it's not.

Speaker 3 (49:49):
Okay, I've done it. I've done it with you. We've
got it with my youngest son, yeah, because you know,
he was seven eight nine at the time, and I
take him to the barber where he would want it long.
I'm like, what, you don't really need to decide that,
and it looks better, you say, but you didn't run
by the ex. I did not run by the ex.
But now what's happened is now my son's a freshman

(50:10):
and he would like it to be a little longer,
and his mom takes him to go get his hair
cut and it's always longer than I would personally like it.
But I don't feel like halving that fight, so I
just don't have the fight you know, I don't want to.
I don't want to cause no trouble over something like that.

Speaker 5 (50:24):
So how old is your son? He's seven seven, and
you say he likes his hair like that, you don't
like is there any part of you that thinks maybe
he went to dad and was like, I think maybe
I want a new look, but I know mom likes
it long, and I don't want to hurt her feelings.

Speaker 19 (50:40):
No, so he So his dad did that when we
first got divorced, when he was like three or four,
and my son didn't have any opinion on it. At
that point, I was furious, but my son didn't care.
But a couple of weeks ago, my ex called me
and I'm glad he knows now to ask, but he

(51:01):
was mad at me. So my son told him he
didn't want his haircut. He wanted the mullet still, and
I was so happy. But now, no, he didn't. He didn't,
but he said, well, you need to respect well I
want to sometimes and like, I'm just going to do

(51:23):
it one of these days. And I'm like, well, our
son doesn't want it cut. So as long as my
son doesn't want it cut, I don't want it cut.

Speaker 5 (51:30):
But that could be like a really traumatic thing, that
haircut a certain way, and your parents like nope, that's
what's happening.

Speaker 8 (51:36):
Yeah, that'd make me sad. The only thing that I
would be like, okay, maybe that'd be okay. It's if
his hair like wasn't taken care of and it just
looked like a rat's nest up there.

Speaker 11 (51:44):
You know.

Speaker 6 (51:45):
Then if I was the other parent, I'd be like, Okay,
we need to cut this off and start fresh.

Speaker 8 (51:48):
But if he likes it and his hair is well maintained,
I think that's absolutely wrong.

Speaker 6 (51:53):
I would be so mad, right, it's.

Speaker 5 (51:55):
Sad, yeah, yeah, because that's what seems like it and
it's just going to like cause lack scars.

Speaker 19 (52:02):
We're pretty good at not doing that. But I guess
what it was is, so he's remarried and he has
a step brother that is just a month older than him,
and he he buzzed his head, and so my ex
was like, I want them to look like twins, and
ask my son if he wanted to buzz his head,
and my son's like.

Speaker 18 (52:20):
No, I don't want to bug my head.

Speaker 19 (52:22):
But I'm worried he's going to come home one of
these days and he's he's gonna have a buzed head,
and there's absolutely nothing.

Speaker 4 (52:28):
Grows back fast for boys.

Speaker 9 (52:30):
I'll tell you the worst, if you want to know
the worst is when your mom, and this happened to me.
My mom went to beauty school and then she used
my head.

Speaker 4 (52:37):
In my hair and the practice. It's terrible. One day
I had to go to school with the perm and
the time my hairs died and went wrong, it was terrible.
The Mary Nello School of Beauty.

Speaker 3 (52:50):
There's photographic evidence of that perm which I see.

Speaker 4 (52:53):
Terrible.

Speaker 3 (52:53):
It's amazing.

Speaker 4 (52:54):
All right, Ariel, thanks for calling it, and have a
wonderful day. Thanks for listening.

Speaker 16 (52:57):
Thank you.

Speaker 19 (52:58):
I love you, guys.

Speaker 9 (52:59):
So I was watching this movie So you guys, the
number one on Netflix right now with Chris Pratt and
Millie Bobby Brown.

Speaker 4 (53:04):
And there's a bunch of songs in this movie. It
takes place in the nineties, right.

Speaker 9 (53:07):
And then I saw this article on the songs that
have been used the most in movies and TV. So
the number ten song is it's been in thirty six
movies and TV appearances, and is the Pina Colada song.

Speaker 3 (53:22):
Oh that makes sense?

Speaker 8 (53:23):
Do you like Colada?

Speaker 9 (53:26):
And then there's Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye.
That's been in thirty eight movies. And then I feel
like this is a lot longer. There's a lot more,
but it's not and thirty eight movies. Also is Walking
on Sunshine?

Speaker 3 (53:36):
Oh yeah, that's in Everything on Sunshine?

Speaker 4 (53:39):
And then tub Thumping by Chumbo Womba thirty nine films
in movies. Then September, Earth Wind and Fire. Yeah, do
you remember that's been in thirty nine movies. A Fade
into You Macy Starr? How's that going?

Speaker 3 (53:53):
How about a Fade into You? It's really slowy and dreamy.

Speaker 9 (53:57):
Oh that's been in forty one movies, Fix You, Coldplay, Yeah,
forty two movies. Now can you guess Richie has to
excuse myself from this? Because he already knows because I
put the songs up there and you can see him.

Speaker 3 (54:07):
Can I guess ones that aren't on the list, because
I know I can't. I know what that comes up
all the time? Well, I just what what it's that?

Speaker 6 (54:14):
Do do?

Speaker 8 (54:14):
Do?

Speaker 5 (54:15):
Do?

Speaker 8 (54:15):
Do?

Speaker 11 (54:15):
Do? Do?

Speaker 8 (54:15):
Do?

Speaker 7 (54:16):
Do?

Speaker 6 (54:16):
Do this?

Speaker 4 (54:17):
Because it's probably under the probably it could be in
thirty five movies. I have the tough for the Sweet
Escape Stefani in there. Uh, this has been in forty
nine movies. This is Na James at Last Less right,
that's a Ton number two and in fifty movies.

Speaker 5 (54:48):
I would not guess this one.

Speaker 3 (54:49):
I know nobody should be in more because it's amazing.

Speaker 6 (54:54):
When they do the dance. I think it's not that
they If I'll.

Speaker 3 (54:58):
Be, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (54:59):
I don't know the This next song, the number one song,
has been using fifty two movies and TV shows this
song right here, and I'm like, nobody, do you believe?

(55:22):
I can't think of what movie that's been in, but
I know that I know it's in movies and TV shows.
So I became obsessed with that will Smith.

Speaker 6 (55:30):
The anxiety anxiety.

Speaker 4 (55:31):
I freaking love that song is so good.

Speaker 9 (55:34):
I love the trend, and I really felt fell in
love with the trend when I watched Colin Payton do it.
I thought I watched that video all the time. I
think it's great. So I was doing it with my
wife two days ago. And did you guys see it?
Did you see the comments?

Speaker 3 (55:47):
No?

Speaker 4 (55:47):
No, it's all about my junk.

Speaker 6 (55:49):
Oh actually I didn't see this. Okay, I'm not gonna
go to the comments. On that I do not want
to know.

Speaker 4 (55:53):
They're pretty funny because I'm.

Speaker 5 (55:54):
Like this because I think I saw it right after
you posted, so there's only a couple of comments up there.
And then one girl was like, oh no, I feel
like I just saw my brother, and then she did
the eggplant.

Speaker 4 (56:05):
Oh my gosh, I'm dancing with Blake. I turned and
I got gray sweatpants on.

Speaker 9 (56:09):
And then you can see my like the shadow of
my junks movement, and I gotta be totally honesty, guys,
I'm so happy. It looks so much bigger. It's like,
you know, objects in the mirror are much bigger. Way
is that the other way? It's early around whatever. I
don't know, but it was like I couldn't watched it,
like this is unbelievable. It wasn't on purpose until I
started reading the comments. I didn't even pay attention to that,

(56:31):
so that I'm just kind of like, this is fantastic,
and I paused and zoomed in.

Speaker 4 (56:34):
I'm like, hell yeah, I don't know what happened.

Speaker 8 (56:39):
I like to show you this scene from one of
them Days, that movie with Sizza and Kiki Palmer that
came out because one of the scenes is like this
guy that says is dating in a gray sweatpants suit
and it's so funny.

Speaker 9 (56:52):
I had to explained to my wife about Gray Sweatpants season.
She had never heard of that before, and I was like,
that's the big thing.

Speaker 8 (56:57):
You got to send this clip to Blake then the
one that I'm gonna show you, Okay, she'll die.

Speaker 4 (57:02):
Yeah, But I was like, by the way, did you
see the Will Smith one he did with Susan Doci. Yeah,
I mean i'd sis with Doci and Tatiana.

Speaker 6 (57:09):
Yeah, that was cool.

Speaker 8 (57:10):
Which I saw the one they did like a transition
video in a mirror, and then I also saw the
video when they did the trend together.

Speaker 9 (57:16):
It's kind of wild because like Doci she comes out
and she dances through it, and I'm just like I'm
just trying to figure out, Like when she got the
call Will Smith, hey, can you come to my house
and do this video?

Speaker 6 (57:25):
Like you know what I mean, like that she's probably
freaking out, like the thing about doc.

Speaker 4 (57:28):
Oh by the way she's walking and so yeah, like
I mean, but like, what's.

Speaker 8 (57:31):
So dope about Doci right now? Like there was this
video that she posted on YouTube like ten years ago.
And she was like, I just got fired from my job.

Speaker 4 (57:37):
Thank god I saw.

Speaker 6 (57:38):
And then it's like all of it.

Speaker 8 (57:39):
It's like you think, Doci's just like, you know, overnight
sensation that just popped off. She's been doing this for
ten years and is now finally getting the recognition that
she deserves.

Speaker 9 (57:48):
But I watched the video over and over again, the
will Smith one, right, and then I sometimes I just
sit there quietly by myself and I'm like, I can't
believe he slapped Chris Rock, you know what I mean, Like,
I just can't believe.

Speaker 4 (57:57):
It bums me out right.

Speaker 5 (57:58):
But because he's so lack, I'm surprised how much that
has stuck with him, because, like I feel like a
lot of celebrity scandals or whatever the things happen, it's
like and then they just kind of die out over
the next couple of years. But I don't think he
can't shake it because it was such.

Speaker 8 (58:15):
An iconic moment first of all, but also to like
when that slap happened, I remember all of us in
here we were like, is it real or was this plan?

Speaker 6 (58:23):
Like it's been what almost I think it's been too years,
So what do we think now? Was the slap reel
or was it fake?

Speaker 3 (58:29):
I feel like I still am holding him responsible for
that slap.

Speaker 6 (58:32):
Do you think he meant you think that that was real?
That was not stage?

Speaker 3 (58:35):
I think it was not stage.

Speaker 5 (58:36):
Okay, I still kind of think it was stage. But
it went horribly wrong. It wasn't what they They're like, WHOA,
we didn't this backlash would be.

Speaker 3 (58:44):
I don't know if it was.

Speaker 8 (58:48):
Like if it was if it was like stage, I
feel like Chris Rock would be like, hey, it's okay, well.

Speaker 6 (58:53):
Smith, it's all good. He's like digging his heels into.

Speaker 5 (58:56):
It, unless like he went for the full slap and
there was his stream between them, and so he felt
like he was I don't know. I don't know. We
don't know because some of us were there when they
planned it or not.

Speaker 9 (59:08):
But the thing is, when I watched Will Smith, especially
that video, it no no, I'm just saying when I
want you just like him so.

Speaker 4 (59:15):
Much, and then I'm like, God, why did you slap
Chris Rock?

Speaker 1 (59:21):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (59:21):
We get some entertainment team, we get some stuff on
Deabie the Botto, Brenda song. I forgot who Brenda song?
Was married to you?

Speaker 5 (59:27):
Very too?

Speaker 9 (59:27):
Yeah, blows which now makes sense why mcculay Culkin's in
the TV show? Yeah, what's the actual running point? Running Point?
He makes a cameo on running Point?

Speaker 4 (59:35):
Did you see it? Did you ever go back and
see what?

Speaker 13 (59:37):
Oh?

Speaker 9 (59:37):
Yeah, I'm mccullay Colin. Okay, anyway, we neat to that, Lizzo.
A lot of stuff get to it's John's part of the.

Speaker 5 (59:43):
Show this morning. No worries, it's all there on my
heart radio.

Speaker 4 (59:47):
Okay, real quick. I saw the trailer for the Leelo's Stitch,
the live version. Do you guys see it?

Speaker 5 (59:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (59:53):
Did you like it? Kyle?

Speaker 5 (59:54):
I think it looks really cute. It's gonna be like
super nostalgic.

Speaker 6 (59:57):
I think it'll be really cute.

Speaker 8 (59:58):
I'm really glad with the way that they animate it
stitch because it's like giving Stitch. It's not like the
Shruck trailer that we got that everyone was like, this
doesn't look like Shrek. But Kyle, have you seen this
that there's like a lot of controversy on the casting.

Speaker 11 (01:00:11):
No.

Speaker 8 (01:00:11):
Yeah, So I guess Nanny, who plays Leelo's sister, that
she's not Hawaiian, and so everyone's like super upset. Apparently
she's Filipino and not Hawaiian, and they're like give us
like the actress Nanni.

Speaker 6 (01:00:23):
I know, but like I guess they're like the.

Speaker 4 (01:00:27):
Alien.

Speaker 8 (01:00:27):
Well no, but like actually, like the really big one.
You'll have to like go on TikTok and go and
follow the Plekly lore. Plekly is the one eyed like
Sideclops alien that comes back to try to find Stitch.
And in the trailer, it kind of like flashes to
who Plekuly is in his human form and it's not giving.
It's not it like we needed a drag queen or something.

Speaker 6 (01:00:50):
Yeah I did. I'm excited. Did you see all this?

Speaker 8 (01:00:52):
Everyone's so pumped about Chad Michael Murray being back that
I like, I was so obsessed with him when I
was thirteen and here I am thirty and still in low.

Speaker 5 (01:01:00):
That's going to be Like the trailer I think looks
really cheesy, but like the first one was cheesy and
it was still really lovable, So I feel like they're
going to be like doing justice to the first one.

Speaker 4 (01:01:09):
Yes, let's get into Kanye Kim Kardashian.

Speaker 5 (01:01:12):
This whole thing is wild. If you followed at all
over the last couple of days, Kanye West has been
going off posting text messages back and forth between him
and Kim Kardashian, and Kim Kardashian basically saying she found
legal paperwork to block a song that Kanye West ended
up actually releasing. The song features Diddy, Diddy's son Northwest,

(01:01:34):
and an upcoming new artist. The problem is is Kim
didn't want Northwest to have anything to do with Diddy
because of all the controversy. So their fight, basically in
the text messages was like Kim saying, Hey, when they
were all born, you said I could trademark their names.
I'm trying to block this from happening because I want
to protect Northwest from being involved with Diddy. It didn't

(01:01:54):
stop Kanye, who ended up, like I said, releasing the song.
The first part of it starts with Diddy. At least
it sounds like like a conversation between Kanye and Diddy.

Speaker 12 (01:02:05):
Nobody.

Speaker 4 (01:02:13):
Yeah, absolutely, I love you so much man.

Speaker 20 (01:02:15):
It's like you raised me, even even when I didn't
know you.

Speaker 7 (01:02:19):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (01:02:25):
Okay, So then the song it's that that vibe, and
then you hear uh Diddy's sun is part of it.
And then Northwest. First the light, run into the.

Speaker 1 (01:02:33):
Jungle like Agita, ride surrounded by fake friends.

Speaker 6 (01:02:36):
I don't even lie and lie when.

Speaker 20 (01:02:38):
You see me, Shannon, Then you see the light, the
light when you see.

Speaker 7 (01:02:41):
Me, Shannon.

Speaker 20 (01:02:41):
Then you see the light, the light.

Speaker 5 (01:02:43):
Everything, the road.

Speaker 4 (01:02:44):
It don't the right and the right, the right, right, Okay,
good now, okay, good night.

Speaker 5 (01:02:48):
So the song is called Lonely Roads Still go to Sunshine.
Kim lost that battle, and maybe the battle may not
actually be over at this point, because Kanye was like
changing paperwork, or we're to go to war and neither
one of us are we going to recover? Who knows
what that means? Who knows what information he's gonna leak?
But then he went off on how Kim and her
mob aren't letting him actually be a parent. He's like,

(01:03:11):
I don't just want to see my daughter. I don't
just want to see my kids. I want to raise them.
I want to have a say in the schools they
go to. I want to have to say and you
know who they sleep over, like whose houses they sleep
over at?

Speaker 3 (01:03:20):
About the mob, pau yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:03:22):
Yeah, but you talk about yeah, but he wasn't just
in like talking about her family. Like Chris Jenner and
her train behind her. He was like, he went off
on how it's like part of Hulu and part of
and how they're all in this together and how they're
they're trying to pick a select He literally says something
like a select breed of black children to influence black

(01:03:42):
culture and how they want it.

Speaker 4 (01:03:44):
Wow, well this is big news to Ted.

Speaker 5 (01:03:48):
Ted Lasso is officially coming back for season four.

Speaker 1 (01:03:54):
You don't like it?

Speaker 9 (01:03:56):
I thought what I've read, which I know, I really
don't click on the link. I just kind of like
highlight and I so I what UP started to do
now is just go to the comments so they when
people go here' I saved.

Speaker 5 (01:04:08):
You some time, You're welcome saved Like I love those
those are the heroes.

Speaker 4 (01:04:13):
So I think can tell me.

Speaker 9 (01:04:14):
Maybe you have all the information that he's going to
stay in Kansas City and he's teaching that he's gonna
be coaching a girl.

Speaker 5 (01:04:19):
Soccer team that's they haven't announced like the full cast,
and you don't like it.

Speaker 6 (01:04:24):
I don't.

Speaker 13 (01:04:25):
Why not.

Speaker 5 (01:04:25):
It's gonna be Ted last one who's like love it.

Speaker 4 (01:04:28):
Then they're gonna make it. They're gonna have to make
a stupid something that's not believable. To get Keeley over there,
and to get Rebecca over there, Keeley.

Speaker 5 (01:04:36):
And Rebecca don't come with him, and there's a new
Kiey and a new Rebecca.

Speaker 4 (01:04:39):
No, they've signed on.

Speaker 5 (01:04:40):
Oh, Jennea casting was officially confirmed.

Speaker 9 (01:04:44):
I read Keey still the negotiation. So that's where I'm saying.
I'm like, oh, they're going to make this whole like
it's not going to make sense.

Speaker 3 (01:04:49):
Well, no, I mean the lovable part about that show
was he was a fish out of water, right. He
was in England doing a sport he's never done before. Yeah,
that was the magic.

Speaker 4 (01:04:57):
We'll see. I mean, you know, I'm judging it without saying.

Speaker 3 (01:04:59):
It, but that's true.

Speaker 5 (01:05:00):
They do say that it's going to pick up right
where season three left off because she went home.

Speaker 4 (01:05:04):
Yeah, what else? Anything else we need? Touch on entertainment news.

Speaker 5 (01:05:09):
I just thought it was funny, Like so Brenda Song
we mentioned her before the break. She's married to Micaulay
Culcan and she was like, you know, marrying him and
getting to know him was fascinating because of you know,
his past, being.

Speaker 6 (01:05:20):
Like the most famous child actor in the world.

Speaker 5 (01:05:22):
He lived and grew up in hotels, he had just
never really.

Speaker 21 (01:05:25):
Done laundry, and I was shook if I think to
laundry since I was like, you know, ten whatever it is,
you know, help my mom. So it's funny like teach
him how to like do laundry. He still doesn't know
how to drive. I like took him out to like
drive in our neighborhood.

Speaker 5 (01:05:38):
I was terrified.

Speaker 21 (01:05:40):
Let me tell you, I'm like this forty four year
old man driving for the first time.

Speaker 13 (01:05:43):
I was like, nope, I got to hire someone to
do that.

Speaker 6 (01:05:46):
Oh my goodness. No, this just like okay Brenda song.
If you hear this, you need to remake this video.

Speaker 8 (01:05:51):
So Brenda's song on the Sweet Life In Zach and Cody,
there was this iconic episode and it's called the Prindle episode,
and it's when mister Moseby teaching London Tipton Brenda song
how to drive and like, you know, like your gear shift.
She's like the prindle, Yeah, the prindle, And so they
need to re enact this with his with her husband
her iconic prindle. Yes, please, Brenda, I'm begging you.

Speaker 5 (01:06:14):
And then do edit.

Speaker 13 (01:06:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:06:17):
I never thought in my entire life I could relate
so much.

Speaker 17 (01:06:19):
Tom I know you come for the John Jay and Ridge,
but let's be honest, if you stay for Kyle and Peyton,
it's John Jay and Ridge, big.

Speaker 14 (01:06:31):
Gen by everybody. I just want to see if you
can give a quick shout out to my husband. Happy birthday, Marty.
Today's birthday, Marty Birthday, Marty Birthday. Yeah, thank You's thirty one,
he's very thirty one.

Speaker 3 (01:06:45):
I guess what are you gonna do for him? That's great?
What's he gonna get?

Speaker 16 (01:06:48):
Oh, he's I don't know.

Speaker 14 (01:06:51):
I asked if he wanted to go out. He's just
like no, I just yes. I assume he just wants
meet Loaf, So I'm gonna make him Loaf today.

Speaker 4 (01:07:00):
You know, you don't really meet a lot of Marty's.
I saw this meme the other day that you never
really really see a baby little girl named Jessica. You
just meet adult Jessica's.

Speaker 14 (01:07:09):
Okay, Oh yeah, yeah, we know that Jessica too.

Speaker 4 (01:07:12):
Yeah she's an adult.

Speaker 14 (01:07:15):
But Jodgie, if you could through a little prayer for him,
he had a rough morning.

Speaker 20 (01:07:20):
This this kind of morning.

Speaker 16 (01:07:22):
He lost his mom.

Speaker 14 (01:07:24):
A couple of years back.

Speaker 4 (01:07:26):
I told him on his birthday, Yeah, this is your
mom on your birthday is tough.

Speaker 14 (01:07:33):
Oh, not on his birthday, but a couple of years
back in eight years in July.

Speaker 4 (01:07:39):
Coming year delayed prayer. Okay, here goes Natalie, good morning.

Speaker 20 (01:07:47):
Hey, I don't know him. Something advice. I kind of
like this guy. I like him a lot, and I
think he might like me that but I was thinking
he would ask me out, but he hasn't. So like
she would just like ask him for his number or
wait until what he does?

Speaker 4 (01:07:59):
She you don't have his number? I don't, I say
we call him for you right now?

Speaker 20 (01:08:04):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:08:05):
Remember, Okay, Well I would ask Peyton and Kyle, what
advice do you have her?

Speaker 8 (01:08:09):
What are the things that he's doing that make you
think he might like you? And like how do you
guys know each other?

Speaker 20 (01:08:15):
So we have like kind of like our friend group,
and he's like the cousin of one of the guys
in the friend group. So he'll come like hang out
with us. Click on Sundays we all get together and
he'll come hang out with us. But like recently he
hasn't been coming here as much, So I don't know
if like, because everybody thought he really liked me and
so he hasn't been coming here as much. I was like,
I don't know if he just got busy or going.
Maybe he doesn't like me.

Speaker 5 (01:08:37):
I would say, if he's the cousin of one of
your friends, I would talk like if it were me,
I would talk to the friend and be like, so,
what's going on with whatever his name is, Like, what's
going on with that Guy's kind of enjoying hanging out
with him and he hasn't been around much. And then
maybe maybe they'll know some intel for you.

Speaker 20 (01:08:55):
Well, I asked sometime he's like, yeah, I thought he
liked you. But then it's like now like they don't
really know, and they said something out they don't really
know why he hasn't.

Speaker 4 (01:09:03):
Been Do you have his Instagram?

Speaker 11 (01:09:06):
No?

Speaker 4 (01:09:07):
Oh wow? So old school? Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:09:09):
I say you got to find a way to shoot
your shot if you're kind of missing him, because if
he's into you, when you let him know that you're
into him back, then it's on.

Speaker 5 (01:09:18):
Oh for me, I'm like, just let him go. There's
plenty of fish in the sea.

Speaker 3 (01:09:21):
True, but if it's a special thing, why not chase
it down a little bit?

Speaker 5 (01:09:25):
He should be chasing her.

Speaker 3 (01:09:26):
I'm I'm with you.

Speaker 6 (01:09:27):
I'm with you, Kyle.

Speaker 8 (01:09:28):
I would just wait until he comes back around on
Sundays when you guys hang out and have you Like,
when you're with him, do you.

Speaker 6 (01:09:34):
Flirt with him?

Speaker 3 (01:09:36):
Yeah?

Speaker 20 (01:09:36):
I haven't, Like he always sorts back. So I'm like,
is he just like like that with all the other girls?

Speaker 2 (01:09:42):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (01:09:42):
Like me, maybe you should just be like a little
bit more like not like Yeah, I was gonna say, like, yeah,
when you see him, just be like, hey, like, oh
you haven't been around, maybe talk a little bit of
crap or whatever, and then just go go no, don't
do that, don't do that. Or I'm like, I'm actually
shocked you don't have his number because I'm like me
and all my friends have group chats with like all
of our boyfriends and we're all in them together, and

(01:10:04):
I'm like, i feel like a group chat you would
just be able to like talk to him and pull
his number aside.

Speaker 5 (01:10:09):
But I don't know.

Speaker 16 (01:10:11):
Colick.

Speaker 20 (01:10:11):
I was talking about just like getting it from a
friend and texting him, but then I was like, he's
gonna think him play text him as a friend.

Speaker 4 (01:10:16):
Okay, wait, waite, is he is he in the group chat? Okay?
I thought to be funny he's in the group chat,
you don't have his number.

Speaker 5 (01:10:24):
Sometimes, if there's multiple people you don't know in the
group chat, you don't know who's returning.

Speaker 4 (01:10:28):
Good luck, nat, good luck.

Speaker 6 (01:10:30):
Wait it out though, all right, thank you? Oh no,
I have good judgment. Oh no, I have good taste.

Speaker 20 (01:10:37):
Please please please, please please please.

Speaker 4 (01:10:52):

Okay, So after one round, everybody has two points, but
Kyle and Payton they each have one.

Speaker 10 (01:16:28):
Second round goes to John Jay.

Speaker 4 (01:16:31):
Some of the folks, the belos modernize this toy story.
Ready to do, but you got a friend to beat,
even going.

Speaker 17 (01:16:43):
For the bonus point there, wait to go, John Jay,
just under the gun. Four points total for John Jay
in this game, and we'll move on.

Speaker 5 (01:16:50):
To Rich exactly where.

Speaker 3 (01:16:53):
Oh yeah, Princess and the Frog almost there, almost there. Yeah,
that's one of my favorite Disney movies of all time,
My all time favorite. The jam from that song. The
villain songs are always the best.

Speaker 6 (01:17:05):
Ready, yeah, always impersonation.

Speaker 10 (01:17:14):
I don't know that Peyton understood the game, and I
want to participate. Peg it's your turn.

Speaker 6 (01:17:24):
Oh, this is from the Goofy movie. That's the Goofy movie.
I don't know his name, but he's like Prince Let's
know you is Nick's favorite movie.

Speaker 10 (01:17:35):
They're all classic tunes, guys. That's what we're looking for.
Was the name of his eye to I.

Speaker 17 (01:17:41):
Letter I, the number two, the letter one point for Payton.
Two points total in this game, and you have half
the amount of points of John Jay Orbrige God Kyle.

Speaker 5 (01:17:57):
Okay, it's from a catch and it's.

Speaker 10 (01:18:02):
I thought you were gonna run out?

Speaker 19 (01:18:03):
Ye my word.

Speaker 10 (01:18:05):
It was a huge song in the station for a
little bit too.

Speaker 5 (01:18:08):
It's a song.

Speaker 10 (01:18:09):
Okay, Samantha, the pressure is on. If you can get this,
you get to see snow white.

Speaker 16 (01:18:17):
Okay, Okay, Okay, Well I.

Speaker 10 (01:18:29):
Don't know who would have been correct. Yeah, we were
looking for one, two, three while you.

Speaker 3 (01:18:36):
Were Okay, so you win.

Speaker 4 (01:18:43):
Hold on. There's some kind of controversy with this movie
or something.

Speaker 5 (01:18:46):
There's a little bit of controversy with the casting because
they did not cast real people for the seven Dwarfs characters,
or using like C G I or something like that.

Speaker 17 (01:18:56):
Well, it's weird because it's kind of both ways. It's
like there's a section of little people who are mad
that they didn't cast little people. And then there's a
section of little people that are mad that they're only
expected little people to have the dwarf parts.

Speaker 10 (01:19:13):
It's like they're like, we should be able to be
doctors and whatever.

Speaker 4 (01:19:15):
And what's his face is is Doc is a doctor? Who?

Speaker 3 (01:19:19):
Doc is a doctor?

Speaker 9 (01:19:20):
I'm talking about the actor's flaking that mold.

Speaker 4 (01:19:24):
He plays all kinds of characters.

Speaker 8 (01:19:25):
He's actually one of the people that like was like
pretty upset with the controversy of this movie. Yeah, Like
I think that's why I made headlines was because he
went on an interview on a podcast interview and basically
like lit up the snow white casting.

Speaker 10 (01:19:38):
And there's something with Rachel Ziegeler.

Speaker 4 (01:19:40):
Two that.

Speaker 5 (01:19:42):
He and Galgada have apparently had feuds on set.

Speaker 6 (01:19:48):
I just don't think they're doing her justice, right, Rachel.

Speaker 5 (01:19:50):
I think the movie looks good.

Speaker 7 (01:19:52):
You do.

Speaker 4 (01:19:52):
I haven't seen the preview.

Speaker 10 (01:19:54):
My kids are real excited for it.

Speaker 9 (01:19:56):
By the way, I was telling you guys earlier about
this movie on Netflix. It's called what's it called The
Electric State?

Speaker 4 (01:20:01):
Did you watch it?

Speaker 10 (01:20:02):
I haven't. I haven't watched it.

Speaker 4 (01:20:04):
Is it on your list? Like, do you want to
watch it?

Speaker 9 (01:20:05):
Because I would think it has you all over it
because it's the Russo Brothers that directed Avengers and all
that stuff.

Speaker 5 (01:20:12):
Those great is the one with Millie, Bobby Brown Brow.

Speaker 4 (01:20:14):
And Chris Pratt.

Speaker 9 (01:20:15):
Chris Pratt is an Avenger Anthony mackews and he's an Avenger.
Like I feel like there's this crossover universe thing in there.
It's a did you know all that stuff that they're
on there?

Speaker 4 (01:20:23):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (01:20:24):
Yeah they I mean, this is the Russo Brothers.

Speaker 17 (01:20:26):
They're supposed to be like they're big, like come up
and outside of the Avengers.

Speaker 4 (01:20:31):
Well, like we can make movies outside of Avengers.

Speaker 5 (01:20:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 17 (01:20:33):
And then when the Avengers called and we're like, hey,
can you direct the next Avengers, they're like, yeah, we can.

Speaker 10 (01:20:37):
Also, we'll just do that instead.

Speaker 4 (01:20:39):
So they dropped this movie.

Speaker 17 (01:20:42):
Well, they they did this one, and then the early
screenings weren't like great apparently, and so they were like,
it's okay, it's.

Speaker 4 (01:20:49):
Not that bad.

Speaker 5 (01:20:50):
Why was it so expensive to make them?

Speaker 4 (01:20:51):
Because it's all digital robots. I mean, all these robots,
but they're not mean robots. They're like robots from your childhood.
That's why it reminds me of Toy Story. Great.

Speaker 10 (01:20:59):
I think it looks great.

Speaker 9 (01:21:00):
So I mean, I'm kind of you know how you
know how toy story like you you see all I remember,
That's all I remember that toy It's like that, Like
mister Peda is a robot, do you know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (01:21:09):
It's like that kind of stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:21:10):
There's nostalgic.

Speaker 4 (01:21:12):
Yeah, there is like that.

Speaker 9 (01:21:13):
But then mister Pena is played by Woody Harrelson. Then
they kill people. It's a little different. Actually that sounds fun, right.
Coyle's coupled three things.

Speaker 5 (01:21:20):
If you know, I want to tell you the one
thing that you can do to create lasting happiness, according
to research Next with John Jay and Rich sad Mon.
Start your day with John Jay and Rich I wake
up with my favorite artists.

Speaker 4 (01:21:32):
Hey, this is what's up, guys.

Speaker 10 (01:21:34):
This is both Blows Benson Boone and you're waking up
with John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 4 (01:21:39):
Guy's got three things we need to know? What do
you got?

Speaker 5 (01:21:40):
Called research bound, attending live music events can create a
deep sense of connection and meaning that lasts well beyond
the concert itself. They say this happens through a psychological
phenomenon known as collective effervescence, a sense of heightened emotion
and connection. The experience makes live music events feel sacred

(01:22:01):
and contributes to lasting happiness even a week after the event.

Speaker 3 (01:22:05):
Amen to that. Love that that's why I should go
out and see live music and bars out there. You
should start paying live bands again because they stopped doing
that over COVID and it matters.

Speaker 5 (01:22:13):
Yeah, And you know, when I first saw this, I
thought just concerts, and I'm like, we'll not ever go
to concerts anymore because tickets are so expensive now unless
you do like that last minute ticket thing and you
just take your dances on getting them. But yeah, it's
not just a huge tailor swift concert. It can be,
like Rich just said, a live band in a bar or,
Like my family went to Queen Creek Olive Mill just

(01:22:34):
this past weekend and they had live music, and it
does create a whole different vibe. So enjoy that live
music and create lasting happiness in your life.

Speaker 4 (01:22:42):
By the way, we were at this event a couple
of weeks ago. Rich was the host and then his
band performed. Rich has a band, the Rich Para Band,
And I got a message someone said, they send me
a screenshot of a Texas Change going. That band was,
who's somebody that knows me and knows I obviously know
rich message my friend that band boo's great. Oh now

(01:23:02):
are they and where can I see them again? I
don't know what and they want to know how I
can get Is there information on your band playing anywhere?
There is?

Speaker 3 (01:23:09):
But there's nothing really on the schedule that isn't like
a charity thing for the next couple of Oh, you're
doing a bunch of charity events. Charity events, but we'll
put them up there when we start getting out in
bars again. I was saying, like, bars don't want to
pay bands anymore. So what was happening is I was
ending up coming out of pocket to pay the band
just to go play out, just to have the whole
band there, because we don't use tracks or anything. We're
all playing instruments, so it's a costant little money to

(01:23:32):
play out, which is stupid.

Speaker 5 (01:23:33):
Yeah, that's silly. So as if we all ready didn't
have like a gajillion reasons to just take breaks from
social media, here's another one. They found. Social media isn't
just changing how we communicate, it's actually becoming a breeding
ground for full blown delusions and distorted thinking in vulnerable users.
So they said psychological disorders are most strongly linked to

(01:23:55):
heavy social media use in all delusions, So like narcissism,
body it'smorphia and arexia and even I don't know if
I'm going to pronounce this right, but erodomania, which is
the false belief that a celebrity is secretly in love
with you. These things all have. Yeah, So platforms like Instagram, TikTok,
Facebook just create the perfect conditions for false beliefs about

(01:24:18):
ourselves to grow unchecked. So take a break. It's okay
to take a break. Everyone will still be there strolling
and trolling when you get back.

Speaker 9 (01:24:27):
There's a disease where people think a celebrities of love
of them. Yeah, and that's because of social media. Before
social media.

Speaker 5 (01:24:32):
It's before social media. But they say social media is
like a breeding ground for those things to grow where
maybe they wouldn't grow before.

Speaker 9 (01:24:41):
There was a girl you used to cut my hair,
and when i'd go to her little chair, she had
posters of Brad Pitt everywhere, like, oh you like Brad Pitt.
She goes, I love Brad pat I'm gonna marry Brad
pant and I go, you think you're gonna marry Brad Pat.

Speaker 4 (01:24:53):
I know I'm going to marry Brad Pat.

Speaker 5 (01:24:55):
I was like, oh my god, just trying to manifest.

Speaker 6 (01:25:00):
G and she did it.

Speaker 5 (01:25:04):
So this is could be a new trend. It's starting
to pop up on social media and I find it fascinating.
So they say, have chat GPT analyze the chat history
between you and your partner. So this woman uploaded her
entire chat history between her boyfriend and her to chat
GPT and said, just analyze it. Does is my boyfriend

(01:25:25):
into me?

Speaker 11 (01:25:26):
Like?

Speaker 6 (01:25:26):
What do you think?

Speaker 5 (01:25:27):
Chat GPT told her her boyfriend loves her, communicates better
and puts in a lot more effort than she even does.

Speaker 3 (01:25:33):
Oh wow.

Speaker 5 (01:25:34):
And then she asks chat GBT, how reliable is your
dating advice?

Speaker 4 (01:25:37):
Really?

Speaker 5 (01:25:38):
The response came instantly. My dating advice is based on psychology,
relationship research, and real world patterns. But like any advice,
it's not one size fits all. So, like guy said,
maybe becoming a fun little trend to get it on,
or maybe a scary trend if you feel like maybe
your communication is more in person your history.

Speaker 6 (01:25:56):
So you who just like greenshot into chat GPT?

Speaker 4 (01:26:00):
Yeah, So you have to do like months year's worth, right, Probably, yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:26:04):
Maybe some conversation, maybe just recently.

Speaker 5 (01:26:06):
You know, you could probably skew the re you know,
you could skew it.

Speaker 9 (01:26:09):
Back in the day with BlackBerry BlackBerry, with the BBM,
you could just copy your whole conversation over I menu.

Speaker 6 (01:26:15):
There's a way to do it. I'm sure you just
have to like google it.

Speaker 8 (01:26:18):
It's crazy that you brought this story up, Kyle, because yesterday,
literally last night, Kadem and I. I was on chatchipt
and I'm the weirdo that likes to look myself up
on the internet, like I'll just google my name randomly
if I'm bored, and so I typed my name into
chat GPT and I was like, give me a breakdown.
I want to see what chatchipt whatever they think of me.
And then it like brought up my boyfriend and I
was like, oh, tell me about her boyfriend.

Speaker 6 (01:26:39):
Who is he?

Speaker 15 (01:26:39):
And it gave me a.

Speaker 8 (01:26:40):
Whole rundown on Kadem. Everything where he went to high school,
who his family was.

Speaker 6 (01:26:45):
I showed him.

Speaker 8 (01:26:45):
He said, that is the creepiest and the scariest thing
I've ever seen. Do not put my name in that
chatch ept thing.

Speaker 6 (01:26:51):
Ever again there, oh he was. I thought the full
name it was trippy.

Speaker 4 (01:26:55):
I thought chat chipet wasn't updated, like it's only.

Speaker 5 (01:27:00):
Four it was two years.

Speaker 8 (01:27:01):
It like pulls up links, so like when I type it,
it gives me the sources and it says from Instagram,
from Facebook, from blah blah blah.

Speaker 5 (01:27:08):
Facebook like chagbt has access to.

Speaker 6 (01:27:12):
So it was so weird to see.

Speaker 9 (01:27:13):
I was texting back and forth with the U of
a basketball coach, Tommy Lloyd. Yeah, and I wanted to
make sure what I said was cool, so I typed
it in the CHETCHBT and it came out cool.

Speaker 3 (01:27:24):
And I said, make it cool and chatgy.

Speaker 4 (01:27:26):
Yeah it did. And then I said it to him
and he had no idea and he was responded like
that was cool.

Speaker 5 (01:27:32):
Do all kinds of things in chat gbt, Which three
things you need to know?

Speaker 9 (01:27:35):
Which, by the way, marsh badness right, we gonna are
we gonna do brackets and stuff like that?

Speaker 5 (01:27:38):
Yes, we do, bast year.

Speaker 4 (01:27:42):
I feel like we've done brackets before. We just put
on the website.

Speaker 5 (01:27:46):
We do.

Speaker 4 (01:27:46):
I feel like we have. Oh okay, I'm kind of
into it right now. I got like let's do it.

Speaker 9 (01:27:51):
I like two favorite teams. I think they're both gonna win.
You have a Wildcats and Duke. I like both those guys.

Speaker 3 (01:27:56):
Dukes up there, number four seed, right, I have no
idea three seat four.

Speaker 9 (01:28:00):
I have no idea how I did. All last week
with my son camp. Was watched basketball, all these other
tournaments and stuff, and I'll watch you, Vade.

Speaker 4 (01:28:05):
They're good. Basketball team is good.
