The Yellow Wallpaper was adapted and directed by Amy Bennett-Zendzian from the original Charlotte Perkins Gilman story, in which a young wife is brought to a secluded estate for three months of complete and total rest. After being struck by a torpedo, four chaplains that were on board helped evacuate the ship eventually giving their lives to save others.
