Speaker 2 (01:45):
It was a quick ride?
Speaker 1 (01:46):
Was it quick ride? It was a good ride. It
was literally, uh the Tron ride out, which what I
expect is a good metaphor probably for this season.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
Yeah, everybody say it is really short, but it's fun.

And the director Julius on give credit to the director too,
but you know you probably know the other two. Then
you know the director in probably line of who you knows, you.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
Hit me the big three of the movie, not those
three of them.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
One possible, that is true? That is true? Or keV
working people that listen to the episode and want to
see our lovely faces, what our new haircuts? What Kevin's
new Robin blue shirt looks like? No, it's not robbing
his not his robbing shirt. This his Robin shirt.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
Robin as in the Hero or the or the Bird.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
Or or you can see or you can actually see
Teddy in his robbin shirt. Well, look at my two guys.
He's wearing robbin shirts.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Hell yeah, yeah. And we always start the podcast Kevin,
want we sipping on today?
Speaker 2 (03:29):
That good ginger Ale?
Speaker 1 (03:30):
Oh? That good? What? What?
Speaker 2 (03:31):
What?
Speaker 1 (03:31):
Uh? What brand? I can't tell what brand?
Speaker 2 (03:33):
That is? The Giant Brandy.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
It's okay, it's the same. Fun fact, it's the same.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
It's the same.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
It's a different can, just a different can. We always
start the podcast properly with what you're doing or what
you're sipping on? In this case is we started tell
me what you sipping on? Man? What a song? What
a song? Uh? What you doing? We're talking about the
shows and movies we've been watchings, we've been playing, lives
(04:02):
we've been living. And because it is Thursday, yep, Bo
gets to go first. And I'm happy to say I
feel like Kevin's gonna have an update to on Disney.
We're one step closer to turning Maura into a Disney
full blown adult now.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
I remember when you guys went last time. She was like,
I never really need to go again. What has changed
since then?
Speaker 1 (04:27):
Well, the family is all going and so that was
a big factor of Hey, my family never goes on
vacation together. We got to go which we've known that story.
You know, I've already booked a hotel, but Maura helped
and it was kind of a caveat towards if we're
gonna get paid for things, let's get some Disney gift
cards and then buy that because sometimes Disney gift cards
(04:50):
go on sale. We talked about Sam's Club and DJ's. Well,
they all came in today. I'll tell you they burn
it a hold of my pocket, Kevin.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
We said, the whole family, her family's going to a discretion.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
No, just so it's me, more me, my mom, brother John,
and his fiance, but will be wife jen By then yes.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
I will say the family experienced Disney is more fun
than just you know, a couple two people hanging out.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
Yeah, yeah, I mean the couple. That's why I wanted
to do that. We've done that, and and now I'll
be interesting because like I said, she's never really been
on a vacation with my family, so like she's she's
gone to a funeral with my family, but never like,
let's go somewhere fun and have fun as a family.
So we will see how that works. Those dynamics.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
My first vacation with my wife's family was Thanksgiving in
North Carolina in two thousand and whatever. I don't know.
These people are cool. I don't know. I came to
school for rest of my life. Okay, pretty cool.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
And I think I told you on Monday's episode about
how we watched that How Disney Built America like History
Channel documentary Hulu. Uh So we get to the last episode, fortunately,
last episode that is really just more recap of the
previous five episodes. But she's quoting things left and right.
I'm like, hell, yeah, you know these things. Now, you
know what the Mono rail is, you know where the
(06:12):
Magic Kingdom is? And she said this, how come Hollywood
Studios in Epcot didn't get an episode? And I told her, well,
there is a show on Disney Plus that came out
when it premiered called The Imaginary Story, which Kevin I
really like, I'm down to watch again. We don't have
any watch Let's watch it.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
I feel like right now Mara is at Ariel and
you are just watching her like in your little cauldron. Like.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
But on top of that, we're kind of in that lull,
like I said, of not having things to watch unless
it's like the weekly new episode. So obviously we watched
White Lotus season three, which you're like me, you were
very disappointed by that new theme song. It has no
woo we woo's at all, and it's disappointing.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
Backlash about that. I don't watch my little thiss. I
was like, Wow, people are really mad about this theme song.
I but I guess I could see like if if
Game of Thrones House of the Dragon opened up with like
some kind of techno song.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
Well yeah, and that's kind of like what our fears were.
When House of the Dragon was kind of come out.
I was like, what's the theme song gonna be? And
they said, now we're just gonna stick with the same
one different graphic.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
The current we have right now, one with the Harry
Potter series. If it's not John Williams Harry Potter.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
Theme, it will be interesting because it like they're gonna
listen to the whole Well, I guess, I mean it's HBO,
so like they're fine with We're fine with a minute
and a half opening credit, you know.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
Totally about to do it and John Williams the theme please, thank.
Speaker 1 (07:37):
You very much, and then ends like the like that's
how Game of Thrones in with a little fade out
it's exactly Oh there comes the episode. All right, great,
love it, but overall the theme suck. But I think
the episode shows some promise. Uh, there is some continuing
threads from the first and second season, which in the
(08:00):
lot of people have it's been like are they connected?
Are they not? Well, this one might connect a lot
more than we think, which is cool. I mean it's
one episode in, but we're excited for that. That's on Sundays.
We did actually start. We watched anything. There's this docuseries
on Max called The Curious Case of Dot Dot Dot.
(08:21):
I think it's like a couple of seasons, and I
saw it on the queue because the Max shows you
what plays whatever is going to be there. The Curious
Case of Bam Margera. I was like, hell, yeah, we
are watching this as a Vivla Bam. Stan brother John
and I stayed up late to watch all the Viva
of Bam episodes. We watched it. It's it's real interesting.
(08:44):
Apparently he's in a conservatorship type situa, or was at
least when the documentary is filmed. And his documentary is
like twenty twenty five, so it came out in January,
so it's real fresh.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
I was also a big fan of the people of
BAM and the show When You Got Married. What was that?
Speaker 1 (09:00):
Oh, I don't I think I thought it was Viva
Labam Viva.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
It was a different show. I can't remember what the
show was called. It was like.
Speaker 1 (09:07):
BAM's and Holy Union, Yes, the spinoff, even though it
was the same show, just he was getting married.
Speaker 2 (09:12):
Exact show it. I kind of missed that. I feel
like that era of like the bammarg Erras and the
Gihny knox Fields on the influences of today. They had
no discernible like acting or talent, but they were just
interesting people to just put them on TV.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
I mean, it was Mister Beasts before Mister Beast if
you think about it. Yeah, Mora has never seen Viva Labam,
so it's gonna be a hard push to get her
to watch Viva La Bam because that's almost twenty years old.
At this point as a series, it's all paramount plus. Uh.
(09:51):
Maybe we'll watch some highlights on YouTube of like the
the Gumball run Drive, the episode they did or whatever.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
I do have it on DVD. I have every episode
to Rob the Big Now and Fantasy Factory, or just
robbing Big, just robbing Big. I like fancy Factor, that's it.
That's the same dynamic. That the same dynamic. It's not.
I mean the next episode was just you go to
my house, you get a freaking did it?
Speaker 1 (10:17):
And then that that, and then I'm trying to think.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
What was the other thing?
Speaker 1 (10:21):
Oh, because once again we're not watching anything we happened upon,
uh a Disney. We were watching this Disney like Sky
was visiting every Disney hotel. Didn't visit visit every Disney hotel.
It's miss leaning title. That's fine, but uh, I was
watching it all eating lunch and more was like, oh,
did they go to the hotel were at. I'm like,
I don't think so. And they didn't do Swanen Dolphin.
(10:44):
I was like, yeah, they're not technically Disney. And Moore
was ranking the hotels like good.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
I think her next step will be rating the snacks.
That's all.
Speaker 1 (10:56):
I'm excited too, because when we went I kind of
made her get the like quintessential things, or like at
least for me. So I think now that she knows,
she can kind of venture out the menu and see
what she likes, you know, and not oh I have
to get the Wookie Cookie, and I have to get
the Star Wars hot dog peta hot dog or whatever
it's called.
Speaker 2 (11:18):
I can tell you I haven't had beef since I
got off the cruise boat last year. So I'm hitting
those rolls hard.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
Yeah, yeah, real hard. First day, ten of them right
in my mouth exactly. No rides, just Jezburger rolls.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
I'm standing right here. I'll have fun.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
This is my no ride jungle cruise five times. I'm
gonna stay right here near the cart.
Speaker 2 (11:39):
Go good. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
And uh. We've been watching a lot of hide and
Seek videos where a lot of YouTube groups like usually
if they're in an office setting, they'll tell their employees
to go hide and one of them will track them down.
And that's just been entertaining. So if you need something
fun to watch on YouTube, just google hide and Seek.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
YouTube holes are ridiculous.
Speaker 1 (11:59):
Like why am I watching this? But okay, I like,
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
There's a hot and sea hole Like that's crazy.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
There's a lot of holes.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
But Kevin, that's what I've been doing. What you've been doing,
good sir. I have been preparing to sell my old car.
Hopefully I get that picked up this week and get
a get a nice little chuck and chain for that.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
Not a lot, but enough money.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
Yeah, busy money and also roof money. I lost a
few shingles thanks to the windstorm over this weekend. It
could have been worse. I know some people that got
woke up with the tree on top of the car.
I know some people want the news they got our
tree on their house. A fuge shingles. I can't be
too upset about it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, didn't lose power
so the saws a few shingles, So you know, I'm
(12:42):
out probably like six to eight hundred bucks depend on
to repair it is. But it could be worse, worse.
Other than that, I've been trying to havelog dog Kira, okay,
so every I won't say everything. Every other night, for
like the last two weeks, we've watched a fireworks show
at Disney World, imagine Kingdom. Get used to it.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
At the same time at like eight o'clock when whatever
or whatever it actually plays in Disney.
Speaker 2 (13:10):
That'd have been smart. I've been doing randomly that had
been smart.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
Actually, you build up to it, you know, get it
to around nine to eight, and then maybe at nine
o'clock er, depending on the time.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
But a couple times a week we've been turning lights off,
turning to go v backlighting on. Oh yeah, pulling up
the happily every after the fireworks show. The first time
she was kind of like, whatever, I'm playing with toys.
The last two or three times she's been like, oh
my gosh, wow.
Speaker 1 (13:37):
Now, Kevin, Because you guys are going in like two
weeks essentially two and a half weeks or something like that,
are you guys gonna be doing the little extras? Like
I know there is like a fireworks party or something
where you get like a better area and some dessert.
Are you guys doing that? Are you going traditional weight
on a spot in Main Street Disney.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
Thinking about trying because I think it's a place in
the Cells's the Chili Dogs. There's a spot there you
can rent think about doing that. We thinking about there's
another place not invent but when Epcot does there show,
that's a place you can go as well to kind
of watch the show. We think about doing that just
because we're not going with a larger group of people
this time to kind of kind of want to relax
and have a little wap spaces for the baby. So
(14:19):
we've been thinking about it. I don't know, We'll see
what happens. I'm more of a traditional I'm like, not,
we're gonna stay in the middle of the middle of
main Street.
Speaker 1 (14:25):
Right here, up too far, go back up a someone
gave me some cheeseburger girls right now.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
Part of me actually wants to say, I haf to
watch the fives. I'm gonna go righte Tron because I mean,
I've seen thistaant.
Speaker 1 (14:38):
I was gonna say that. I thought you're gonna poast
up at the cheeseburger agg girl staying like I'm gonna
post up right here. It's the worst view, but I'm
gonna eat enjoy. I know what it looks like. I'm
just hearing it, but yeah, doing that.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
Lee is getting pretty excited, but we're kind of sad
and we think she's out of her princess face.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
But what's the new phase? Though? That's interesting. This Disney
trip could make her break that.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
You know, well, we know she still loves Disney, but
we don't think she wants to bring a dress this time.
We're just kind of breaking our heart.
Speaker 1 (15:11):
Maybe you shore her Moulaan Riah, you know my Tiana
Explore version.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
She she's growing up so bad. She'll be she'll be
nine at the end of this year. She doesn't wants
to blog it. She wants to do like get ready.
Speaker 1 (15:24):
With That could be fun though, that could be real fun.
Speaker 2 (15:27):
Yeah, she wants to do. I'm like, no, you used to,
you were you were? No, just hold my hand please.
So yeah, that's kind of sad, but you know, kids
grow up, So she could grow up and end up
being doing costplays. Want to go to Hollywod studios as
stressed as I don't know right, so women may get
(15:50):
all balanced out and then my wife's already stalking your
ears and shirts and like we haven't even got there.
Speaker 1 (15:58):
Now here's the thing. I know that we're very Disney
heavy at the beginning of the podcast. That's okay. I'm
excited for Kevin because that signals I get closer to
my trip too. Exactly are you an ears man or no?
Would you wear a pair of ears?
Speaker 2 (16:13):
I have worn ears, but with my certain level of
bald not even the baldness. Okay, after a while, like
even like in the winter time I had after a while,
just gets annoyed me to have one. I wanted to
take it off so my ear limit is probably an
hour and a half.
Speaker 1 (16:31):
That's the thing. Are the are the technically mini ears.
Technically guys can wear those two, right, Yeah, Like because
I saw a pair that was just black, I was like, well,
technically those could be Mickey ears too, you know.
Speaker 2 (16:44):
And I was thinking about going maybe a Goofy hat
this year instead of Mickey ears.
Speaker 1 (16:47):
I will say, well, last time I went, we had
a Goofy hat from the nineties, way better quality than
the Goofy hat nowadays. Might have been a little bit
of a toxic chemicals than said hat in the nineties,
but that's okay.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
It was made when it was made in America, and
that was made in Canada, damn right. And also we
are on the lookout now because officially Tron and uh
Tiana's by, you are not on a virtual quit anymore
when we'll.
Speaker 1 (17:15):
Go, because you guys are going to be in the
thick of it for that, those dudes.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
So we are eligible to buy lightning lanes on the
twenty seventh, and we'll be talking that very hard, yes,
because because our plan is basically because I want I
want to ride Guardians, I'm not trouble one right that
or not I want to ride of course Tronta and
I don't care about Tianica. I don't. I don't want
to get wet, so I don't. I don't care about
that that as much. But tron and Guardians are must
(17:41):
for me. So we'll be stalking because say, table we
did the Disney cruise, where like twelve twelve one we
resting for our stuff for the cruise, so twelve one
would move by the light and lanes and if they're available,
hopefully it's still available, and then we also need to
buy I may buy forsistance or not, because sometimes ras
buistance isn't that wait.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
I think it is a six o'clock launch for light
kning lanes. By the way, Well, actually, never ignore what
I said because it's a new thing. I don't know
what the new how the new thing works anymore.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
It might be different because you're saying on a resort.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
To well now, well, because now it's all you can
do it ahead of time, so it's all different now,
So don't quote me on that one. You're gonna learn
from me.
Speaker 2 (18:18):
But I've been checking every day and make sure it's
still available for the day we going to buy.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
Like and all of a sudden like oh to this day,
well to ignore that two hundred dollars credit charge.
Speaker 2 (18:29):
Family, And I don't mind waiting in line for most rides,
but uh tron, I've been waiting for chance to pandemic.
Damn it.
Speaker 1 (18:38):
I'm gonna pay whatever I need you to get on
that damn right.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
And guardians I've been waiting for since because last time
I went, it was supposed to be done, but it
wasn't done. So I was like, these rides so riser resistance.
I want is all to ride, but if not, if
we can't, I'm not too too upset about it. And
sometimes I said, sometimes it's only like I say, only
only like an hour weight, which not terrible.
Speaker 1 (19:02):
And now what are the musk does Leah have? Must
as now that she's a grown child, so she can
ride most of the rides at Disney now.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
For us, and we've we've kind of adopted it into this.
Her musks are slenky dog dash because that's all you
have a good time to do that one.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
But she's a lot taller now so she can stay
in the ride.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
Yes, and also for her her musk because will be
her first ride time riding Space Mountain, like you're doing
Space Mountain. We're doing this.
Speaker 1 (19:29):
No tower, no tower. I'm the only one wants to
ride it. I mean, if she's also gonna do Space Mountain,
she can probably do Aerosmith with you. I mean it's
the same thing, it's same vibes essentially.
Speaker 2 (19:39):
Yeah. And she she's she's a throw seekert she I
mean she rides. There's a couple of kitty throw rods her,
she parks. He's big enough for she rides them. So
only when she came around her, she park like the
the Great Bear because she was just too short. And
then something else. But all of the stuff she can
get on she was riding. So she's definitely, she's definitely
ready's ready.
Speaker 1 (19:59):
We already a priest for Impact to prepare for Orlando.
Speaker 2 (20:03):
And we want to actually trying to figure out to
figure out this ride swap thing with the baby, because.
Speaker 1 (20:08):
Yeah, I don't know how it works. Also, yeah, because
you guys have a kid too, So like, does that
mean Leah gets to ride twice technically if you.
Speaker 2 (20:17):
Wanted to maybe and also basically one of the because
you could skip the line.
Speaker 1 (20:21):
Basically essentially, yes, because I ride.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
Like Rise of Resistance I want everybody to ride that,
but aculle baby can't ride that, so hopefully I'll be
able to. Okay, I take the baby. Now I'll ride
by myself. Maybe no, no, yeah.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
I wonder how that works with with with lightning lanes too.
So say like all three of you wanted to ride,
We'll just say what's for her Space Mountain? You got
two lightning lanes and you told them, Hey, my wife
is there, but she wants to ride to ride, does
she get an automatic lightning lane or you have to
pay for a lightning lane for her? So it's gave
me the system a little bit.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
You know, I didn't have to find another Diddy food
blog video just called it.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
Damn it all ears and Disney food bug tell me,
tell me, Paige, mister tomorrow, give me your secrets. Let
me know, uh and shout out Andy Dragon In the
chat twitch dot tv slash Infinite score Pod says she
always gets knockoff ears from Etsy to coordinate with her
outfits for the day. I know Mora did that. She
got the bucket ear uh bucket hat ears, which Disney
(21:22):
doesn't sell, didn't sell them, but now they sell.
Speaker 2 (21:24):
So the worst luck with ets like it never gets
here on time for me.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
I don't know why early, baby, real, real early.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
I've been spoiled by Prime, like, yeah, you get tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (21:34):
We ordered a new bed frame from Wayfair, thinking to
come next week. Came one day. Oh all right, Wayfair.
Wayfair is around here somewhere, I guess.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
Oh, by the way, I also looking forward to I'm
not gonna buy anything, but I'm gonna go to the
Star Wars shop and see anything cool. That's my way
into getting because I've heard some stories about t s
A and light Taper. They're just kind of tired of
people with them.
Speaker 1 (21:56):
I don't care they I mean they love. They allot
us through multiple times with let's say a birde story
about that.
Speaker 2 (22:01):
That's the other thing right now I'm not worried about.
But I am praying every night about this point this
plane ride because like geesh.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
Yeah, I try not to tell. I will say, don't
watch Final any Final Destination movies before you guys go either.
Speaker 2 (22:15):
So I saw said it's not going to clap to
clap in the plane list.
Speaker 1 (22:19):
It's okay, it's all right now we've earned this one though,
we've earned it now. Unfortunately that's it's a effect of
our reality. You'll be fine. You guys are doing Southwest.
You're good.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
So yeah, yeah, yeah, it's laid off half their staff.
But it's all cool with all.
Speaker 1 (22:33):
It's all about back fly free, back fly free free
anything else.
Speaker 2 (22:39):
Kevin, that's all.
Speaker 1 (22:42):
Let's get all into it because it is job.
Speaker 2 (22:48):
Kevin, Wake up, Come on.
Speaker 1 (22:51):
It's no no hitting the button. I honestly don't know
why it's that you hear the click when I'm meanting
it for stings. First, we need to talk about w
W E two K twenty five because we're, like keV said,
two weeks away from two K twenty five from officially
(23:14):
being here comes out March seventh. I know there's some
early access and all that good stuff, but Kevin, they
just revealed the what for w W two K twenty five.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
The full ringmarole, the full roster that's going to be
on this game.
Speaker 1 (23:27):
It's been released, and Kevin, any notable misses and any
other notable highlights are excited for this year in w
W two K twenty five.
Speaker 2 (23:39):
I'm surprised that they're We're not surprised. That's you kind
of makes sense because of Doland Reversley. A lot of
ny Family.
Speaker 1 (23:49):
In this game, yes, and mostly that is because of
the Showcase mode, which is highly focused on the I
know no a Family, Roman Reigns, the Ouse, oh Rakishi,
everybody Family the Rock as well.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
It's pretty cool to see that though, because I mean,
those guys we have been around for a long time
and not just since The Rock. It kind of kind
of cool to see them get the respect they deserve.
I interested to see though, if because they've done it,
they haven't done it yet for the last two games.
When Trick Williams comes out in this game, I want
to know if they had to whoop that trick thing,
(24:24):
they haven't done it.
Speaker 1 (24:24):
Have a feeling no, because look at the Jay Show
intro and it is not as not as close as
what this should be nowadays, you know.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
And that's kind of frustrating too, because he's been coming
out of the crowd since like France, and that was
like last last year July, I feel like it was,
so it's been a while out of the crowd. You
could you could have threw that in it. It wasn't
that hard.
Speaker 1 (24:47):
Yeah, unfortunately, but yeah, all your favorites are there, all legends,
all that good stuff they ever announced the DLC. The
DLC is usually they like, but dude, they got you know,
they got Penta. Last year was they got c Him Punk,
they got Jake Cargo. So Penta is the room is
a highly rumored requested one. Jordan Grace as well, who
made her at XD debut a couple of weeks ago.
(25:08):
But we all lucked out because all Ego front of
the podcast Ethan Page is in this year's game. So
I'm excited to play as that man and just be
like champion immediately.
Speaker 2 (25:19):
Not not to get too deep into wrestling lore, but
I think has to. He has the capability to be
the best heels triple and I mean that would all.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
We love a good JBL heel, you know, without the
JBL racism, you know.
Speaker 2 (25:34):
But his heels comes from like a sick place, like
he's just a jerk that comes crazy like the Swisses flips.
He becomes a psycond killer, but he's one of us,
you know.
Speaker 1 (25:44):
He collects megas awards, Kevin, So it's okay, ballants.
Speaker 2 (25:50):
Balance balances.
Speaker 1 (25:51):
You always preach ballots, always do. There must be craziness
and megasorts. But yeah, the game comes up March seventh.
I know we've kind of talked about it. I mean,
we're always excited for a new WW because we usually
play against one another. For a hot second, you can
actually do supposedly online multiplayer with a friend. So we
(26:16):
are going to try and test that, Kevin, because that
could be pretty fun for the podcast. One off of
just like what are you doing? Now? What are you doing?
All right, let's see one in the match each you
know you can do like everybody else. And then now
it's just motech and one Andrew Wood because they don't
have Hood in the damn game for some reason. But
Hood is in NBA two K twenty five. It doesn't
(26:38):
make sense.
Speaker 2 (26:39):
Does that make sense?
Speaker 1 (26:40):
It's the same, the same lames and everything. Anyway, how
fusster I am about that? Ask me again, I'll give
real fluster.
Speaker 2 (26:51):
It's one of the triggers. It's just Hood.
Speaker 1 (26:54):
It's an easy name. It's very easy. But something that
won't be easy and actually be real, real, sad, real
emotional is when the Last of US season two officially
comes out in April. Y'all, April thirteenth.
Speaker 2 (27:11):
I really mean this, Do not watch the season. It's
gonna be.
Speaker 1 (27:17):
Said god speed, god speed. Anyone watching this this season
hasn't played the game, yeah, boy included. So I now
have two a month and a half really to try
to get through the Last of Us Part two before
the game come before the the show comes out. But
here's the deal. They'll probably put Last of Us Part
two on sale when the show comes out. So what
(27:38):
are you gonna do?
Speaker 2 (27:39):
Yeah, and it's remember about that making another Last of
Us like multiplayer game.
Speaker 1 (27:44):
Remember, so it was supposed to be the Last of
Us factions that got canceled a long time because it
was well not It was actually a couple of years ago,
mainly PlayStation was pushing forward, you know, live service games
didn't really work out, and then right after you know,
the show happened. So the guy bashed all of it.
But we do know. And interesting you brought that up
because Last of Us Part two.
Speaker 3 (28:05):
Kind of the can the Lastest part one where really
they could do episode by episode each chapter of the
game essentially, but they did confirmed Season two will be
seven episodes, so I think they're splitting up, uh, Part
two in.
Speaker 1 (28:19):
The two seasons.
Speaker 2 (28:21):
Smart you don't want to just go through it really
really quick.
Speaker 1 (28:25):
And also to.
Speaker 2 (28:27):
The first part, Less of Us, Less of Us two
and the last part are like two totally different games.
Speaker 1 (28:33):
Yeah, it's the it's the it's the Last of Us continued,
and then what is that survivor?
Speaker 2 (28:41):
I said, I never played Last of Us too. I
watched the movie of it on on on YouTube, and
that final mission is just it's just who You definitely
want that to be like a like an advent. There
needs to be like like like a wedding things lest
length episode, that last episode, the last mission or so.
Speaker 1 (29:00):
Yeah, I mean, I'm excited. I mean I think the
first season they were like hour the hour ten. I
think I think the best episode which had Nick Offerman
and it was like an hour twenty which that was
a great episode. Even if you don't want to watch
the show, watch that episode. Just that's good. That's good entertainment. Yeah,
(29:21):
Sun in April thirteenth, so that means, you know, White
Lotus will end before then if you're doing the math
on that one, because HBO similar doesn't like having two
premiere shows come out at the same time and around
the same hour, so it makes sense as well, but
it will take place five years after the event in
the first season. Joel and Ellie will be living with
Tommy on the commune in Montana, which they were teased
(29:44):
in the first season. And yeah, I'm not gonna say
anything else because I don't want to spoil myself either.
Speaker 2 (29:51):
Yeah, I feel like I think that's before Wait, we
are in a red wedding era of the show because
the gamers know what's coming. The people's watching the show
have no idea what's coming.
Speaker 1 (30:05):
Yeah, and it's gonna be it's uh when that happens.
And I know what happens, I just haven't seen how
it happens, especially to that person that everybody loves. It's
gonna be real bad. It's gonna be like, why would
you do this? And all the people who play the game,
like we've known about this for seven years.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
Where the hell y'all been? Like I expect to see, like,
you know, a lot of long from YouTube videos of
how uh ahbo Max has failed us.
Speaker 1 (30:35):
Why would they do this to every character we like?
Damn it?
Speaker 2 (30:39):
And exactly, it's it's gonna be a scene. It's gonna
be such a scene.
Speaker 1 (30:44):
But yeah, so that's you got about a month and
a half for that. You also have Daredevil coming on
March we'll talk about that in a little bit because
we're gonna talk about well, Kevin, get your get your
spidy webs ready, you know, put in those little you
know back in the day when here you go, you
can do that. When you had the little shooty spray gun,
you had to put the little confetti thing in there. Yeah.
(31:05):
Also very toxic in nineties, very toxic nineties as well.
Speaker 2 (31:11):
Actually sell websitoters on TikTok shop. I don't know how
well they were.
Speaker 1 (31:15):
Yeah, I would not buy that from TikTok talking about
kill somebody. But it's time to break down the season
one finale episodes of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider Man. So
let's break it down. Well, look at that first time
chat cool j D just finished season one of Friendly
(31:38):
and all my days I was turned from liking to
loving the series. Uh and I think overall summary before
we get into spoiler parts, My god, this show, Kevin,
I'm gonna I know you're not gonna like what I
say better than spectacular Spider Man for me, I think
it's hyperbole to get through the second season of the
(32:01):
show before you can accurately compare it exactly. Craven wasn't
a tiger. It was confusing.
Speaker 2 (32:08):
I don't know, man, I don't know about you.
Speaker 1 (32:11):
But show though, Yeah, I think overall this show really
filled that void of just having a good Spider show.
I know there's a bunch of them, you know, there's
like the Ultimate Spider Man, there's Disney has a bunch
of one, Disney plus, but I think it is good
to kind of eras of Spider Man shows. You know,
you have the nineties one, you got a sixties one
which gave us theme song remix for this which no
(32:34):
skips every time every time the theme song came on.
He actually couldn't because it changed at the end every
time you got to see what happened. Then you have
obviously ninety Spider Man, then Spectacular Spider Man, which we've
talked a lot about in the past year because your
boy finally watched it last year. And then I think
it's this one really paved in the way of just like, oh, like,
(32:55):
say what you about the animation. The story just overkills
on it everything and it's great.
Speaker 2 (33:01):
Great story. The animation grew on me after a while.
I was one of the few fans of it. When
he reached the trailer and doing a sixty thing. I
get that. That's pretty cool. You kind of saw that
as the series kind of went through own of doc
oc very sixties out of Iron Man very sixties. So
I really enjoyed it. But the story man was just like, wow,
I really care about all these characters. Like usually with
(33:24):
Spider Man, you just came about Spider Man, you actually cared,
you get about Aim, you cared about adventuable Tombstone character.
You kind of even cared about the Osborns, which is
weird to an agree to a agree.
Speaker 1 (33:34):
We'll see how those relationships continue on. We know the
show has already been renewed for season two and three.
Two is halfway through animation, so the earliest you could
probably get that as like twenty seven, maybe around then
because they're also due X Men ninety seven as well.
Now probably a twenty twenty six thing. And then season
(33:55):
three just got announced that's happening, so that'll be off
in the future. So the outside is this is one
of those shows. Unfortunately you got to wait a couple
of years as far as we know for it to
actually keep going. But I think this is worth the
wait for the for the new.
Speaker 2 (34:10):
Seasons, especially if, like the other time of these kind
of shows, the debut is out solid animation around like
the middle of season two to kind of like get it,
it looks a lot more. I would go back to Archer.
Archer looked very stiff in the first season, season three
and four. Even though it still looks the same, it
looked it felt like a more fluid.
Speaker 1 (34:27):
Yeah, same thing with Clone Wars and Rebels. Those first
seasons are very like and then everything's like eh, and
then once you get to season two and a half
or season three of those shows, it's some art there, baby.
Speaker 2 (34:40):
Season seven was like, this is the same animation.
Speaker 1 (34:42):
Good lord god this we started here and we're over here,
all right, But I guess we'll go forward into spoiler territory.
So this is spoilers for the ninth and tenth episode,
pretty much the story overall Spider Man as we're talking
about it, because there's a reason by spoiler overall of
everything this season Spider Man. But Kevin, it's all been
(35:08):
a time loop, Baby, it's a whole time you know me.
Speaker 2 (35:12):
I'm a sucker for time travel and multi I know
some of you think it's a storytelling trope, but now
I love time. Yes, that's my favorite thing ever.
Speaker 1 (35:19):
Uh so what was just going to order? That was
just our that's the That was like the big reveal
of the of the finale, which was great. But we'll
get through episode nine, which really was like let's tee
up all the street level stuff going on, and then
episode ten is let's get you ready for next season
and everything there because back ten minutes like oh my god,
just keep teasing me.
Speaker 2 (35:39):
It was like it was like bomb bom bomb bom
A right, I love.
Speaker 1 (35:45):
But we start off episode nine, which is called Hero
or Menace, which I think easy great season two reveal.
Who's your j Jonah Jamison, immediately that's your new work.
We did spide We did sign Spidey. Now give me
newspaper Spidey.
Speaker 2 (35:59):
Jake said, MS. He is a great voice actor. He's
one invincible. I'm sure.
Speaker 1 (36:03):
I'm sure we did it.
Speaker 2 (36:05):
Yeah, I'm sure something that same vocal vocal directing is
probably want to show somewhere because it's all one just.
Speaker 1 (36:11):
Like dial it down from omnim but you're still just
as angry exactly, Ja jon up just for kids, Yeah,
all right, just wusa a little bit there. But we
kick off. Auto Octavius is in prison. He's reading the
Cecovia Chords. Great line of saying everyone in New York
has violated these accords, which, yeah, they're just the thing
(36:31):
that happened for Age old Tron in Civil War. We
didn't really talk about it.
Speaker 2 (36:35):
After mcguffin, they got the Advent of parts. Some things
happened rified.
Speaker 1 (36:39):
Yeah, I don't worry about it. But Norman does meet
with Auto to gloat Zaim about finding him stealing all
his new tech designs for oz Corp, which we were
slowly seeing Norman become, you know that, like, oh he
might be a golden beacon of hope. He's voiced by
Coleman Domingo. Oh we like Coleman Domingo. He's so nice.
And then oh, nope, we're in We're in seedy, shady
Dorman right now.
Speaker 2 (37:00):
You know, I saw and it's probably whatever happened, But
I saw one of those who should play who casting
articles will Clotter earlier this week, one of them had
Coba dimgo West Professor X. I was like, I didn't
know I wanted that, but.
Speaker 1 (37:12):
I wanted to mind it and man about it, even
if it's Neo.
Speaker 2 (37:17):
I'm like, hmm, either one.
Speaker 1 (37:21):
But we find out while they're talking, like I said,
Norman stolen all of Auto's ideas and tech Big Donovan
in the one hundred and tenth Street Gang are trying
to raid Auto's labs and follow the truck leaving going
to Oscorp. While this is going on, we find out
Pearl and Nico hangout and just thought it was cool
because they're the two female leads of the show, so
(37:42):
it's cool for them to hang out and be friends
and not have to a little bit of I think
it passed the Bechdel test. I'm pretty sure did, but
who knows. I check it again, but I think it does.
I gotta pay attention, really, But we find out Nico
does listen to Pete's voicemail from the last episode. She's
kind of starting to come around on it. But that
(38:02):
OZ Corp truck comes out of nowhere from trying to
avoid the underdent Street Gang. We think Nico is gonna
be saved by her amulet again, but instead of the
amulet showing off, it's Pete swinging in on the amulet
reflection to block the truck, which I thought was pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (38:17):
I wanted to be. I wanted to be the same
from Spider Man two.
Speaker 1 (38:20):
It's a web Pete does web swing Nico away, which
I thought was cool because it is very iconic for
that first web swing with all our Mary Jane's or
Gwen Stacy's and I think Nico may fit into that.
Bill who knows. Season two, I could go all the
place with Nico.
Speaker 2 (38:40):
They they it can go out of places, right because
I don't want to say, because it's always always very
like said Mary Jane of Wen Stacy. But it would
be different.
Speaker 1 (38:50):
I would like this, I would mind it. But we
find out Pete does come back to stop the one
hundred and tenth Street Gang from taking all the tech
out of the Oscorp truck. Scorpion shows up with his
gang too. It's a whole gang war, which I really appreciate.
They cut to the comic book animation where here's Scorpions
versus one hundred tenth Street Gang and they meet in
the middle, which was cool.
Speaker 2 (39:11):
That was cool. That was really cool. That really cool.
Speaker 1 (39:13):
Pete does get anxiety slash a mini panic attack about
seeing Scorpion again, which I thought was cool. I mean,
he's he's a kid. You know, he's a team he's
not prepared for all this stuff. Big Donovan halfway during
the fight, does quit when Scorpion has him pinned. Spidey
does save Big Donovan, but he immediately runs away leaves
(39:35):
Donnie Dozer in the gang just alone.
Speaker 2 (39:38):
I mean, I'm happy he'll he'll turn his life around.
But that's kind he is gonna be. You know, he's
gonna be a local grocer. You know, he's a corner
market guy. Now that Loni's gonna beat up, you know,
he kind of he kind of looks like the barber
from Soul.
Speaker 1 (39:52):
Maybe that doesn't connected connected during this fight. Cool JD
also said love the angle during the fight where your
Spider Man's fighting Scorpion, and it's like a window shot
kind of like you're a bypasser watching this fight, which
if you lived in New York and this is all
that's happening, just moved to Jersey at this point, do
you have Miss Marble at.
Speaker 2 (40:13):
Least dead in island?
Speaker 1 (40:14):
Yeah, But during the fight, whilst spiding Scorpion or fighting
Lonnie does look through the truck and he accidentally unleashes
a chemical. Uh what is that chemical? Well, we'll find
out the near future. But eventually it does give Lonnie
uh the ability for skin to be kind of impenetrable,
(40:37):
and he's real strong. After Scorpion tries to stab him,
Lonnie and Spidey team up on Scorpion to fight him.
Lonnie does push Spidy other way when steel Beulam's are
falling and thinking, oh no, Lonnie's dead. He ain't gonna die.
He's a main character, baby, he is the foiled Pete
right now.
Speaker 2 (40:53):
And I did love that after this scene, Spider Man
kind of like got got got the retelling of great
great power company respect, and he let loose on a Scorpion.
And I love this scene because that many times in
the comic books where Spider Man lets loose. When he does,
it's meaningful. One of the times is actually when Doc
(41:15):
Octa con told Petia Parker's body, it realized that he's
been holding back with him all these years, fighting him
how strong he actually is. And the other times when
Peters went to prison and be the crap out of
Littles and Fisk, nobody did anything.
Speaker 1 (41:28):
I gotta go bed Okay, sorry. Eventually we do kind
of get a little bit of a reference towards Pete
getting out, like you said, out of hand, and it
is you know, it's no way home where our Pete
was about to stab Green Goblin, but Lonnie stops him
a little bit, kind of echoing that at least eventually,
(41:49):
you know, the cops do arrest Scorpion, and I think
his gang runs away while Lonnie retreats with the one
hundred and tenth treat gang. Nico meets with Pete and Alley.
He tries to do I love the spider kiss, but
she punches it. I love that, Like, what the hell
get that out of here?
Speaker 2 (42:05):
It wasn't it wasn't kind of like a like a
skinny punch.
Speaker 1 (42:07):
It was like, Wow, what a woman who can defend herself.
Damn it exactly took a few box of classes. Their
friends again, love that. Fill this is going on. Pete
does go back home with May to watch The Bachelor
or whatever it is in the MCU or in this
version of Marvel. Pete gets a call from Norman. Norman
(42:28):
kind of has a debrief, like, you know, you had
to do what you do. You're here at heart and
you show mercy. You're like, that is not what you
said last week last week, you said gate respect find
out Norman says only a couple of things were damaged,
including DIOCS three, which was the chemical thing that released
in the truck for Lonnie in the comics, that is
the chemical that released the make tombstone tombstone essentially and uh.
(42:52):
Then we find out Norman meets with the scientist team
talk about autos Tech, the glider prototype which is now
improved after it's sane run, and there are new tests
on spiders involving Spider Man's DNA, And we get this
as the closest shot of Norman being like, you're gonna
have ahead of time. Then we cut to episode ten.
(43:19):
It's where we have the real true intro with you know,
Pete in in the Spider suit. Yes, looked good. I
mean I can't really go wrong with that in an animation,
so it was great. Now will he stick with it
for next season? That'll be the interesting bit. Will we
get variety suits like they kind of.
Speaker 2 (43:35):
Teased, I don't know, you're lastly one episode.
Speaker 1 (43:39):
Yeah, and we were all like, what the hell are
they doing to complain about that? Like six comic cons ago,
It's fine? We find out We cut back to the school.
The football team didn't win the championship without Lonnie.
Speaker 2 (43:50):
Oh, the Ravens didn't win. I've heard that story before.
Speaker 1 (43:55):
I'm sorry. I'm sorry. But Pete is late for his
project presentation as he's fighting criminals before school. A great line.
I like, maybe we don't fight crime and save the
day before school, you know, first thing in the morning.
Speaker 2 (44:08):
Yeah, that's a good point. I feel like I thought
was Spider Man. I'm like listening from seven to two thirty.
Y'all got it. That's two thirty of mine. Yeah, I
gotta go to school. I hate these books.
Speaker 1 (44:18):
Pete and Pearl's project, the diorama itself is broken, but
their third partner comes and clutch. It was like, okay, cool, yeah, whatever,
I don't really care. But the main thing here is
Pete Pearl. Instead of calling him Pete calls him Peter.
After they had a good project out of a minus.
So that will also probably be a season two thing
of Daisy Goo of Pearl. Even though Nico's crushing on him,
(44:38):
we think fun typical Spider Man thing. You know, he said, Peter, Bye, Pieter, Pieter,
I'll go back, shut up.
Speaker 2 (44:49):
Better.
Speaker 1 (44:52):
We cut back to oscorp Ominus shows bragging about a
five point ill having an omega cum laude or whatever
the hell. Asha and Jean are there as well the
other interns. They meet Norman where he welcomes them to
Project Monolith. It looks a little intense, real intense for
an in turn, pretty ridiculous. We find out Norman's building
(45:14):
in Einstein Rosenbridge by Frost, a jump gate, a doctor
Strange portal, fantastic four thing were about the I believe
that was the same thing.
Speaker 2 (45:22):
That Kingpin was building in Spidervan Beyond.
Speaker 1 (45:26):
Yes, so it is a familiar terminot scientific term. We've
kind of learned a little bit with superheroes.
Speaker 2 (45:33):
I was once I was like, oh my gosh, I'm
about to link this to Spider Man Beyond Spider Verse.
Speaker 1 (45:38):
No, get there, We'll get connected to something else though.
We'll talk about that. Norman tells the interns being involved
with the project will skyrocket the careers, which I put
that's just plain evil talk. You know.
Speaker 2 (45:50):
It's always this is for you and only you. This
has only good thing for you, and it doesn't say
it doesn't And.
Speaker 1 (45:57):
I love this. We talk about the iconography of the
m you you know, vibranium purple, you know Doctor Strange,
the portal, the byfrost and all that stuff. They say
they're going to open the gate and it circle of
it's like, oh that's what a No, it's doctor.
Speaker 2 (46:10):
Strange, Like hell yeah, let's go, And it kind of
played it was It wasn't the full thing, but it
kind played a little bit of the we got.
Speaker 1 (46:18):
The first episode, we find out that this doctor Strange
doesn't know anything about mid Time, Midtown High and what
happened there. And we find out I at first put
this isn't this universe is strange, But no, this is strange.
Now our future strange and back and then well we
had a future strange and now this this range went
(46:39):
back in time and caused Peter to have his powers. Yeah,
and I.
Speaker 2 (46:42):
Thought that was a really I didn't see that coming
at all. I was sure it's just going to be like,
like I said, another universe is strange, but activated the
timestone and then once he fell through the thing, I
guess that makes it not a portal but more of
a wormhole. That makes sense. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (46:58):
Science, science, yeah, check it before. That's what it is. Essentially,
Norman does open up the gate. Even though doctor Strane
gets like knocked out for a little bit, uh and
opens up a portal to that symbiote for the first
episode as well, like I said, it all comes full circle.
Speaker 2 (47:14):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (47:14):
The symbiote fights Doctor Strange as a bridge's accident closed.
We find out during the fight that Spider from the
last episode gets out of the cage, like, oh, they
only made one spider, them idiots, one spider.
Speaker 2 (47:29):
Multiple spiders.
Speaker 1 (47:30):
Next time we do get Pete kicking the symbiote to
the dark dimension. Dr Mombo, I've come to bargain deal
with the uh dor Mombo not yet year or later,
because Strange pulls him back out. Another quot iconography kind
of a more of a what if thing was he
uses that sort of Dodeco drawn like cube in prison
(47:53):
the symbiote for a degree, which was a big thing
in what if, which I thought was just cool. Just
give some more imagery to doctor Strange, you know, more
what if later we'll get there what is. But eventually
Strange uses the timestone to reverse the symbio like keV,
and like keV said, they go through a portal, making
it a time gate or whatever. Gets goes to Midtown,
(48:13):
causes the loop of where we are now. I thought
it was a dope reveal. I thought, really cool, the
symbio eventually does they do open the gate again to
where the symbio is from. It caused more symbios to
come through the portal. A lot of people saying the
gate was the Clintar, which is like the symbiate home planet.
So a little bit of all stuff and that might
(48:36):
be a season three thing hopefully, And they're like, we're
gonna get you in a damn it. If Sony has
anything to say about it.
Speaker 2 (48:41):
We'll get there.
Speaker 1 (48:42):
Just give him some time, don't you worry. But we eventually, Uh,
doctor Strange and Peter do kick at kick the sambio
back through the portal. They close it. But a little
bit of that all It takes just a little bit
to get through that gate and then get a little
Google little Goo got through that, keV said. Pete goes
(49:03):
back home with Nico and Harry, saying he can't trust
Norman anymore and oscorp. Nico tells Harry, you know you
could create a safe space for geniuses to work on
new tech. I thought, oh, we're going on Spider Man
two were oute a little bit here with how Harry
and Peter created the Life Foundation or something that was called.
Speaker 2 (49:19):
Oh yeah foundation, like that's that's the first the first
like four game.
Speaker 1 (49:24):
Yeah, and then I said, no, we're just gonna destroy it. Sorry,
Oh I spent so long in that lab. Okay, Pete
does meet Doctor Strange and talk about the errors of
time travel, like this line that Pete says, things are
that are supposed to happen always find a way to
happen to make us who we're meant to be. That
was cool. Doctor Trains goes through his portal and Pete
(49:45):
looks at the city and lo and behold, what's that
in the distance? Kevin the Watcher, which is cool. I
know we're kind of got burned on what If season three,
but I think just even just having that is cool.
You know, it's just like, ah, it's connected. You know,
they don't have to do anything, but he only watches
the good, the important universes. That's just the same point.
Speaker 2 (50:08):
So seasons seeming later seasons for some reason, I wouldn't
be surprised if we get kind of like a this
is kind of going pitching forward, get the same thing
because we got in the ninety Spider Man where it's
like a team of Spider Man had to fight something
at the in the series, and the Watcher is watching
all the ones that can help them.
Speaker 1 (50:26):
Oh so you're thinking we're doing more instead of doing
Madame Web, we're doing Watcher. Yeah exactly. I'm just saying here,
and of X Men ninety eight or whatever, season two
of that show is going to be called Watcher could
just be Watcher in that style.
Speaker 2 (50:41):
Hell yeah, let's go. Actually, I haven't watched the season,
the last first season. What was he in that one?
He was not stuck in He was not.
Speaker 1 (50:48):
I didn't see it. I don't remember, so he might
have been in those a while ago. It was like
last yeah. Yeah. But then we get sort of quick
hits cool. J D says, no, he wasn't, thank you,
Where Norman finds the leftover as he's crossed the police state.
We'll find out out that shades of you know Spider
Man too the video game as well. We find out
(51:10):
that Web, the Worldwide Engineering Brigade, especially launched from Harry
It is the same group that is involved in the
Spider Man ride at Avengers Campus. So that's boom. That
means something, means something. Now you know where Harry's inviting
all noble scientists on the list that are in the background.
You obviously knew it was gonna be easter Eggs. You
(51:31):
get Max Dylon, who's will eventually become electro Ned leads
maybe our Ned. We're to a degree future Hobgoblin who knows. Yeah,
you have Kidan Nixon who's from the Runaways, Uh, Priya
a Garol, Tiberius, Stone and Timer, and also other Marvel
characters there as well. We see that Amadeus gets invite.
(51:54):
We see that Ashley gets invite as well, and then Gene,
who kind has been like what's she doing here the
whole time? We had that random scene where she tried
to break into Norman's office. Turns out yet, like I said,
she's Finesse. She's essentially Daredevil's sidekick or hero in training.
She gets an invite and Daredevil shows up, you get
(52:15):
that cool ass theme again. It's so good.
Speaker 2 (52:18):
So Finesse is a blind I don't know, deinitely.
Speaker 1 (52:21):
Like a robbin something like that. It's not necessarily that,
but I think they kind of just let's group some
storylines together, you know, yeah, but I think, hey, this
show is a great soft launch to get you ready
for Daredevil if anything as well.
Speaker 2 (52:34):
I'm so excited, I think I said before. I remember
when he's in one of the Denver came out. I
took off work to watch him, like no, I'm saying
home all day.
Speaker 1 (52:40):
Yeah and watching. Then we cut to Lonnie also gets invited.
You kind of see his skin is turning that tombstone
white a little bit like, all right, see where we're going.
He ditches his letterman jacket because he's now the boss
or if anything, a leader of the one hundred and
tenth Street Gangs because ide Biggie to come back as dozers.
(53:02):
That's fun.
Speaker 2 (53:03):
It's gotta be said, though, because I feel like he
was on such a positive trick and they're like, know what,
I don't be a gangster. It's all good.
Speaker 1 (53:09):
Yeah. I think the interesting thing is with this Web introduction,
I wouldn't be surprised if instead of being the classroom
for season two, we're in Web most of the time. Yeah,
Like maybe it is. I think it was. Carla Conners
is teaching now and it's it is a version of
like a hybrid X men. You know, Mutant Academy and
(53:31):
something like that. But for scientists it.
Speaker 2 (53:33):
Could be it could be like like mom use models
like a stem thing.
Speaker 1 (53:38):
Yeah, which it's essentially Midtown High but now it's called web.
Speaker 2 (53:41):
Yeah exactly. But uh.
Speaker 1 (53:44):
Then we cut to Nico who uses her amlet to
talk to her mom, which is cool. We'll see that
explored in season two as well, because the auto making
schematics for his claw tentacles. And then Kevin what happens
with aunt May.
Speaker 2 (53:58):
Goes to jail and I'm like, who I make going
to jail talk to? And there's like a back and
forth with somebody, and then we get a watch that revealed, Hey,
this guy is like Peter Parker and the man says, hey,
how's my son doing?
Speaker 1 (54:13):
Richard Parker who is voiced by Kevin who Josh Keaton
aka the voice Spectacular Spider Man back in the day?
Cool and now I hope Uncle Ben is the voice
of nineties Spider Man. Just bring a full circle. You're
getting all the animated.
Speaker 2 (54:32):
Spider's at one shot, ninety Spider Man is actually I
don't know if you've watched the movie, but he's nineties
Greg Brady.
Speaker 1 (54:38):
In the movie. Oh, I know, I know, I don't
know the actors Dame, but I know he's Greg Brady.
But that's how season one ends, obviously kind of a
little bit homage, no homage, but the flash a little
bit to a degree where your dad's in jail. But
mainly that is does Pete know that his dad's in jail?
Or ant may keeping a secret because she did say
she's running errands, didn't say she was going in prison.
Speaker 2 (55:01):
Because Spider Man's parents are often like depending on who's writing,
killed off, they had killed off, they were super spies.
It's always kind of like a different thing going on.
Speaker 1 (55:16):
Down. Yes, will we get a future villain that? I mean,
we aren't involved time travel, so I wouldn't put it
past that we have some future Spider villain that if
we're doing the flash route killed killed kill the Pete's
mom and framed his dad.
Speaker 2 (55:31):
Oh my gosh, that'd be terrible.
Speaker 1 (55:32):
I mean, or they could spin it and maybe his
dad will be creating a goblin. Maybe that would be
Oh that would be really I mean, they couldn't.
Speaker 2 (55:41):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (55:42):
I'm just saying, but yeah, overall, great first season for
the show. I think we said, you know it was
a very quick season, but very well done season as well.
SOFY season two they kind of probably follow suit with
the same release. I mean it worked. I was excited
the entire time.
Speaker 2 (56:02):
I mean I wouldn't even say, if you want to
edit any in any way, just do two a week.
Make sure to make sure you release, you do ten
episodes to eight episodes. Because my only and this is
not really a complaint, is the thing that happened. It
is Blue Boss in three weeks like just gone.
Speaker 1 (56:18):
Never're done, but really excited. I mean the future is golden.
I mean they already did so much establishing of classic
Spider Man villains in this season two could literally be anything.
We have a symbiote in play, we have doc Ock,
we we I mean Craven is really like the only
thing that didn't get introduced. I mean Fulture and the
(56:39):
Electrore was technically teased. But you know we're getting there and.
Speaker 2 (56:42):
We still can get like I said, Wentz takes, we
can get the Black.
Speaker 1 (56:44):
Hat a whole thing, silver Sable if they want to,
it could work.
Speaker 2 (56:49):
Wilson Fist because it will be another thing. Then introduce
even to a degree we saw iron Man. We can
see more advenguers in this as well. It's kind of
kind of like saying, who's this who's this Spider Kid?
Speaker 1 (57:00):
We did see Cap too, right now. We saw a
picture of Cap.
Speaker 2 (57:03):
Yeah, you're right, a picture of Cap is all iron Man,
and we saw Doctor Strange, but not that strength know
about this is Spider Kid. Maybe maybe that now twenty
goes to goes team and like, hey, who's this Spider Kid?
What's his deal?
Speaker 1 (57:13):
What's going on?
Speaker 2 (57:15):
It's like who they say, go anywhere?
Speaker 1 (57:17):
Yeah, I mean I think it's really a good you know,
we had a punch, a quick jab and another punch
of Marvel animation so far of we had ac Men
of the Past like Year and a half x ninety
seven killed it. Then you had what if Season three
was okay? And then this to come in strong again.
It's like all right, cool, now show me what we
(57:39):
can get for Marvel zombies and what we can get
for the Eyes of Akanda series.
Speaker 2 (57:44):
That is the one thing that Marvel's doing the next
year that happened. Not excited for it. All the Marble
zombies I don't understand.
Speaker 1 (57:49):
Hey, it's it's just coming out during Halloween. Give me
some zombies. That's all I care about.
Speaker 2 (57:53):
You know, if they were doing like a Woman by
Night style special, I wounderstand it like forty fifty minutes.
Speaker 1 (57:58):
Well, Kevin, it didn't work, so they're switching to animations
this time.
Speaker 2 (58:02):
Okay, but it was good, really good.
Speaker 1 (58:06):
It was good. But so that's pretty much what's next
for the Spider Man show, but for Marvel overall. Our
next big thing, Daredevil Born Again. We just found out
it's release date schedule. Kevin, what's the schedule looking like
right now?
Speaker 2 (58:21):
I'll give me one second. I am just obs is
doing weird things here.
Speaker 1 (58:25):
I got to fix something that is okay. I will
keep going. But we know that the first two episodes
of Daredevil will be coming out same day, Tuesday, March fourth,
to six pm. So we'll be talking to obviously on
the Wednesday, so Kevin will not get to talk about
that because it'll be on his Disney trip.
Speaker 2 (58:42):
Thought about if I figure out a way to jail
break my laptop but discord on it, I could maybe
recorded Sunday, but I.
Speaker 1 (58:49):
Mean, you're on vacation. Then episodes three will be March eleventh,
four on March eighteenth, and then five and six come
out in the twenty fifth. That's all they've announced so far.
They haven't said episode seven through ten, so I'm assuming
something big is gonna happen in episode five and six.
Maybe that's a Punisher set up and then Fist coming
into full villainy or something like that.
Speaker 2 (59:10):
Thinking about that, or if they want to do something
where like because this show runs into and.
Speaker 1 (59:15):
Or right uh well with this schedule, it finished right
before and Or, which we've kind of talked about. Dizzey
Plus looks like it's trying to avoid doubling up on
shows in one day, just because you know, keep you
can keep the conversation on one show instead of spreading
it for two shows.
Speaker 2 (59:32):
Like I wonder why his release strategy is so weird
because I feel like you kind of want those shows
to be like say, stacking the show is over, now
here comes this show. That show's over now comes with
this show kind of just keep going going kind of
like basically almost kind of like a musty TV type
of thing.
Speaker 1 (59:46):
Yeah, monthly, because if you think about we have this,
we have Daredevil and or Thunderbolts and probably Ironheart around
after Thunderbolts comes out. For if you're looking for show
a movie show movie.
Speaker 2 (59:58):
Yeah, that's a good point. But this show, I feel
is going to be a lot of fun, just because
it's basically the same coat, but a new zipper, type.
Speaker 1 (01:00:11):
Of better zipper, you know, hopefully, hopefully I think he
brings a more canonical zipper. But yeah, we're excited. That's
literally in two weeks really really like a weekends of change,
really more like it.
Speaker 2 (01:00:29):
And there's another story too that is said that they
may bring more Netflix characters into the m c U.
I believe they want to see it, but I would
be interested to seeing them give Lucage of Aglue Cage.
Speaker 1 (01:00:40):
Is now same actors or what do you think?
Speaker 2 (01:00:45):
There's a world out there and it's such an easy,
easy thing to do because he's already involved with ma
Wana just make the rock Blue Cage likes. It's just
it just makes itself.
Speaker 1 (01:00:53):
I mean, I think Chris said render has to be
Jessica Jones. Still I think I think just that it
just matches, you know.
Speaker 2 (01:00:59):
And that's the thing too, because if Marvel was serious
about doing like this next generation thing, uh, I believe
Luke Cage and Christian Rider, christ Rider and Jones have
a kid that becomes Captain America, like in the future,
So that'd be interesting to do.
Speaker 1 (01:01:13):
Now, Iron Fist, maybe give us a new Iron Fist.
Speaker 2 (01:01:18):
Worry about Iron Fist. I do feel like having Iron
Fist and shunk Chi in the same might be a
little confusing for some people because both of them are
very martial arts and sty heroes. I think there's a
way in shank t you can mail both and the Gift.
Speaker 1 (01:01:32):
I mean they technically kind of soft launched that. And
what if season three with the in the shang Chi
episode where there was a kid that would later on
become Iron Fist, you know.
Speaker 2 (01:01:42):
Yeah, I feel like maybe there's a way in Shang
Chi two where he goes to I can't remember the
name of Kung Lau, and for some reason, Danny Ran
is in there, but he still fights the dragon and
gets the Iron Fist, not his Iron Fists and the
ten Rings. Maybe he's that's that's too overpowered, But I
mean MC is powerful.
Speaker 1 (01:01:58):
We do, but that is in the near future, they
won't lay. We had our street level heroes teeing up again,
probably a Spider Man movie, Daredevil, Charlie Cox popping up
probably in it.
Speaker 2 (01:02:11):
Oh, I'm obviously trying to come back to the castle.
Speaker 1 (01:02:14):
I'm happy, you know, it's nice to hear his voice now.
It's good to see him in the costume, the real costume.
We had that yellow one, and she hulked. We went
the red one. Give us the red one.
Speaker 2 (01:02:22):
I do think either Karen or Fucky die in this
though at some point?
Speaker 1 (01:02:27):
Or do that? M Let us know your overall thoughts.
Are you excited for Daredevil to come back and board again? Uh?
Did you like your friendly neighborhood Spider Man? What do
you want in season two? Let us know at Infinite
Underscore pods on the Instagram or the x go and
give it to you, or you can be part of
the conversation like cool j D was like Andy Drogan,
(01:02:49):
Twitch dot tv slash Infinite Underscore pods or YouTube dot
com slash Infinite Underscore pods as well.
Speaker 2 (01:02:58):
And real quick cool. I don't have any notes with
Spider Man for no notes.
Speaker 1 (01:03:02):
I really don't have any notes, immaculate, no notes.
Speaker 2 (01:03:04):
It was really good. I don't like it could have
been longer. I guess. I don't know, but that's not really.
Speaker 1 (01:03:09):
Give me fourteen of them, Give me fourteen seasons, right,
now here's my credit card?
Speaker 2 (01:03:13):
Me fourteen of them right now.
Speaker 1 (01:03:15):
But as always, my name is Hoodie and I'm Kevin,
and you've officially listened to this Spidey flip Flip episode.
Speaker 2 (01:03:23):
What keV Crisis on Infinite on cab brand Me dared
