Speaker 1 (00:09):
Welcome back to the nerdy news he needs to know
throughout the week. On Night Heartbrady, I'm bad cast services
around the world because my name's Hoodie. And okay, oh, Kevin,
we heard none of that because your clip Garden, you
gotta gotta there you go.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
I think here's the thing.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
Try it again where you're at right now with the
microphone and hello, there we go. See it work because
you're too far away. It picks up the echo. I
think it canceled you. There we go, and you're officially
listening to this Thursday episode on Kevin the Crisis on.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Infinite I'm gonna Leland's this move now because the trailer,
I mean, aren't we all?

Speaker 1 (00:48):
And you know we're gonna be talking about that Leelo
and Stitch trailer today. We're gonna be talking about new
casting in the Spider Man movies and as in the title,
talk about Daredevil episode three, which that ending wolf.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
It almost felt like, what was that movie with Jack
Nicholson and Tom Kruse can't handle the truth.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
I've never seen that movie. I just saw the w
W parody. Kevin, I will tell you that right now.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
I think it's a few good men.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
What it's called sure, yeah that sounds right.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Yeah, like an epic court drama. It wasn't even like
a oh yeah the superhero on the show I forgot about.
That is what it is.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
But you can see everything we're about to talk about
and so much more today by going to at Infinite
Underscore bods on the Instagram or go and give it
to you or Kevin. If they want to join us
to see the video version of this podcast, where can
they go?

Speaker 2 (01:39):
You can go to YouTube dot com slash Infinite Underscore
Pods to watch us on demand and see episodes as
far back as three or four years ago. Or if
you want to join us live twice the week, Twitch
dot tv Slash if you underscore pods put all your
Twitch dot tv needs.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
Yes, and for some reason Twitch has shunk in us.
We think it's a Twitch back end issue. So we're
gonna roll the show and we're case snary. You can
see us on YouTube. Don't worry about that, baby. YouTube
is the best to YouTube is the best tube. But Kevin,
before we get into what you do, and we do
have to talk about Malana too is on Disney Plus
this week or now, So if you need something to watch.

(02:15):
I think we have you covered.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Don't worry a billion Dollarana two. Nobody's thought to make
a billion dollars.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
And guess what, It'll make more money by people buying
Disney Plus so they can watch it over and over
again like Kevin's House.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
And it's funny. Routinely every year the one of the
most highest watched things, not only only on streaming but
on Disney Plus is Majana. So it bags how this
carries on that torch.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
We'll see if it does or if it doesn't. Because
I heard some people didn't like Mahana too because Monoma
wasn't there.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
So yeah, it was funny. Everybody thought that's want of music.
Ser but look at you, look at Mufasa, and the
music wasn't that much better. I don't know, we'll find out.
We will find out.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
But we always start the podcast properly with what shit doing?
We talk about the show was in movies, We've been
watching games, we've been playing lives, we've been living because
of this Thursday. Yep bo it gets to go first
and happy to say more. And I have started Paradise
on Hulu. Started one episode in and that little end

(03:17):
twisty like Oh, okay, let's see what happens now.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
I didn't want to tell you because it was like,
it's like a big part of the show, like Preslic
has died and other things.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
What that's just the tip, that's just the tip of
the iceberg. That's five years after the iceberg happened, exactly.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
How does she like it? More? Is intrigued? I think
it's definitely.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
I think if you like Sterling K. Brown, you'll enjoy
the show more. But if you if you're like I
don't like Sterling K.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Brown.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
He's always too serious and you know, the man is
going to get a long ass monologue that's a little
too emotional and then he has his dead pain face
while he's doing it, then you might.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
Not like it.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
But so far, so good. I'll say that. I think, uh,
you know, we we're in We're now a show hole
right now, so I think it's a good time for
it to fill that hole. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
It was definitely one of those shows that my wife's
started watching and I wasn't really paying attention, but then
I kind of cut like, wait a minute, this is good.
Oh I'm intrigued, this could be something. Wow, let's keep
watching it. Yeah, all right.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
Yeah, so that's been fun.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Obviously we're gonna keep watching that hopefully throughout the weekend.
Did we did watch White Lotus?

Speaker 1 (04:29):
It's interesting, I'll say that.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Did I talk about I talked about that already. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Good h Did I talk about Righteous Gemstones? Yes? I
did that on Monday.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Gemstones. I still need to watch that show. I feel
like somebody who's as involved in the church as I am,
and it's probably like it should be a show.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
If I didn't talk about it was good. I really
enjoyed it. And then, uh, interesting tidbit. I didn't mention
this on Monday's episode because I forgot your boy lost
his wedding ring at public over the weekend.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
So it was it was a quote unquote home bar,
not like a random place.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
No, it was it was a yeah, yes, home base,
as someone would say for us in DC. It wasn't
my gold ring, luckily, so I got that one still.
But I did lose my plastic ring.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
The plastic versus of gold. I feel like you're gonna
win out of that situation.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
I am, But you're all of a sudden like, oh well, yeah,
this is a gold ring. This is what this feels
like it's not as flexible as the plastic ring.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
You know.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
You know what I'm saying. I lost mine one time
for like I lost something. I lost mine for like
three days one time, and I was like, oh my gosh,
what happened to it? The found and found it in
my daughter's play chess around one of her barbies. Next
it was a necklace.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
All right, well, I was like, wow, thank you, Leah,
thank you, but don't do that again, please. But yeah,
so I don't know where it is, but I'm pretty
sure I remember wearing it to the event. And then
all of a sudden, I go to wash my hands
because you know, you touched the bar floor, bar wall.
You don't want to wash your hands before you touch things.

(06:03):
And I'm like, wait a second, Like there's where's that
little gap something that fills the gap right here on
my finger once you get a ring on that finger.
And I was like, not there.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
I was like, I don't know where it is.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
I don't see it in this public bar bathroom, public bar,
live bathroom, and I'm not going on the floor to
look for it.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
You know what. It pours it on a bar and
it's never a good look, never.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Good look even when it's empty and it hasn't gotten
filled there. It's not a good look to do that.
But so we order a new one. But more, let
me order the one ring as well. So I now
will have a plastic version of uh, the Ring of Power,
essentially from Lord of the Rings, and it has like
Elvish language on it and stuff will be pretty.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
Cool that you can't run from your put it on
the one ring. I'm gonna do it. You don't see me.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
I'm gonna come in like you guys don't see me.
I got the ring on right now, take.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Off the ring? No, no, I can't.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
I got married and I am a servant is out
on so sorry. I would have watched the Fires of
vont All with you, so if you have to talk,
dang it.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
One day. One day.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
But that's pretty much what I've Oh. I've also WW
two K but we'll probably talk about that because you've
been playing it too, so I'll switch to you. keV.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
Actually I have not. I've been I am ten hours
into assess the street shadows.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
And that's all you can say. You cannot say anything else, Kevin,
You're under in bargoo.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
But it's funny there's a part of the game and
Bargo Well, I'm not gonna but it's part of the
game that usually you use no ign or facts to
help you.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
With and you're learning how to do it tell you
things that you forget.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
I'd actually had to google Japanese history for help on
this part.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Okay, well if you so, if you're stuck in a
bind on this game, just google Japanese history.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Fine, but I'm really loud that though, like the story,
you have to be intrigued a bit. Now I'm I
just passed level tens. I'm kind of strong. Now I'm not.
I'm not like fledgling around running away. I'm like doing
doing potshots and running around some more. I actually can
go ahead up with a few people, so having a
lot of fun with it. I need to take a
break from the dough and play, though, because it's rust

(08:11):
many a seasons like come on.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
That time.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
But yeah, baby, it's what I like.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
Any any watchings of shows or anything new that you're watching.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
For dinner. I'm working on a compilation video for our vacation.
I can do it all the time. So if I
watched that, probably bout the end of the week. See
what happened to that and other than that. No, I
don't watch anything new right now. I didn't mistakenly start
a super Stormy watch I got back on vacation season
four of that.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Now, I meant to ask you this, what was everyone's
favorite ride or thing a Disney uh from the trip?

Speaker 2 (08:53):
Cumulatively my sister, her favorite thing is always Disney pretzels.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
That now, which one the basic one or the one
that's got like cheese and stuff in it?

Speaker 2 (09:03):
The basic one? Did you get with like the cheese
with it cheese cup? Okay?

Speaker 1 (09:06):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
My wife's favorite thing was Guards of Galaxy Collin Rewine,
and I've made her. I've converted her to cheesebak spring
rolls as well.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
Good good, good good favorite ride also cheeseburgers spring rolls.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
She just like that was her thing. Actually, her favorite
thing was the chicken tenders from Hollyway Studio. Yes, good
good option, and her favorite ride with Suckey dog Dash.
Kira's favorite food was anything she get her hands.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
On, basically anything, Okay, yep, yep, yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
Her favorite ride was walking around the park. She didn't
really care for the.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
Road stopping stopping strangers in their tracks that was her favorite? Right,
corrective me just.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Thing I want to ride. And of course my favorite
thing was She's worker Spring Roads. Imst have had like
ten of them things. Oh my gosh, ridiculous.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
Now, which was her favorite ride? Was it Tron or
was it Cosmic green Wine.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
I am here to say definitively, because I've read, I've
written all three, actually all three of the dark Disney
roller coasters, Space Mountain, contagree Ryand and Tron, and I'm
here to say, definitely the best roller coaster in Disney World.
The world Resort is guards to get off because of
covering one.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
You also forgot rock and roller Coaster, but that's okay,
there's four that one too. Yeah, it didn't even make
a top three according to Kevin.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
So I've written in a while, right at this time,
I've written in a while, But gott of Rewind and
recon Rewind and tronsecutive days, I love them both. But
Contury Rand is the best roller coaster down there right now.
It's amazing.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
You heard it from the man himself, Cosmick Rewind and
Teazeburgger Spring Rolls. That's all you need, that's all you need.
And you guys went during fly and this is leftover
questions I had from our the Disney Breakdown episode from Monday.
Did you guys get any of the special foods from
like flower and Garden or anything or no?

Speaker 2 (10:44):
Yes, my wife got a few special things that I'm
not too keen on because I don't.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
We don't have to pal yeah florally, Yeah, I'm basic.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
But my favorite thing that I had out of there
was actually the Canadian pavilion had a maple popcorn.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
Yes, with you did talk.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
It was so good. I'm shopping for a currently right now.
I don't need more in my life.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
I need it. He's gonna start putting maple stair up
and bringing it to movie theaters like I need this.
I need forks to eat my bout corn. It's too sticky,
but so sticky. Well, that's great. I'm glad we've gotten
the full recap down on that. Interesting enough, your boys

(11:24):
getting questions at work about Disney advice and how to
do certain things.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
And navigate things.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
So if you have questions, always d m us at
Andrew Hoodie at M zero T three kk MO Tech
and we have will pardon or we will pass on
our knowledge to you the people yes.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
That's what we do here. So there we go. Okay.
I mean, well, you had a couple of co worker down,
a couple of workers on this week.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
I saw, actually I did, and I told them Cheeseberg
Spring Roll and that's where they went and they were
like that was a good option. I was like, well
you can then Kevin for that one.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
So actually I told Corn today because they're going in
a few weeks. Imagine cheeseburger spring World was tasting like
McDonald's used to tast when were kids, when it was amazing.
That's what That's what it is when that when you
were a kid had a prest donald cheeseburgers, Like, oh
my gosh, this is flavors. But there's so much met
so much better.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
Uh. And then w W two K updates Kevin, you
haven't played a lot, you said, right, not a lot
of until one mess so far, your boys real deep
into my faction mode this year because I'm trying. My
thing is I want to unlock all the like Persona
cards this year before I start building my custom character.

Speaker 2 (12:32):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
Because they have c him Punk from twenty ten and
he's got the fire Burn songs in there. I'm like, hell, yeah,
I want that on the jukebox right now all times
of the day. That's the only song that plays.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
Man that that sounds great.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
Dog.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
Oh, it's so good.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
But it's like the last unlock in that. So there's
like a world Tour mode. So it's kind of like
a Street Fighter Mortal Kombat Tower mode a little bit
too a degree, where you'd be all these matches and
you unlock, you unlock on these Persona cards. He's the
last one, so it was going to take a little bit,
but we're getting there. Baby.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
There's the cool thing with this, this World Tour mode.

Speaker 1 (13:10):
I've gotten better at it because I'm playing against the
my faction computer or whatever. But it's like, oh, here's
some war games, here's elimination matches, here is battle morals,
here's Gauntlet matches. And I'm like, all right, I'm getting
the gambit of what I like. And I don't like, I'm.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
Gonna try this on your on your good word, because
usually I don't.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
It's it's it's it's pretty much a story mode without
without an actual story, which is is what it is essentially.

Speaker 2 (13:36):
Yeah, I will try it usually the universe and said affection.
Usually I don't get there.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
What I do is an invasion of you and me
in the universe mode, and then we just own every title.
So and then we become rivals, and then become besties
and rivals and then besties again. But we're a regular
triple h and Shawn Michael. But that's what we've been doing.
Let us know what you've been doing at infant underscore Pods.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
But Kevin, let's get on into it.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
It's time for the news.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
Man.

Speaker 1 (14:10):
First things first, Ohana means family, and family means what Kevin.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
No one gets left behind. No one gets left behind.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
And we got a brand new trailer, not even a
new trailer, the first real trailer for Lelo and Stitch
the live action movie. So let's head on over to
Reaction theater, make sure that's all right, perfect and talk
about it, you know, have a good time with it
if we can.

Speaker 2 (14:36):
Yeah, this, like the Franks say, the first real trailer
of the rest trailer has been stitched like screw.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
Doing stuff, which is the first real one. I mean
it follows the same model of how the movie was
advertised to was Stitch pranking the Disney Castle, so.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
Yeah, I remember also it was one with that house
I like, get your own movie, and he did, and
he's gotten the show.

Speaker 1 (14:56):
And there was this this stitch quill I think is
what it was called. So yeah, then there's director DVDs
who don't We don't count those ones either.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
The Pokemon sticks too, Yeah, that too.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
But we got the new trailer today. We've both seen it,
so we're gonna watch it, then we'll talk about it.
So Kevin, you ready to go?

Speaker 2 (15:13):
Let's do it all right? Count three, one, two three.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
We have apprehended a dangerous experimental Where is he? He escaped?
He's trying to find the police cruisers?

Speaker 1 (15:29):
He took the red one. What idiots? Planet is caught
in your cross hairs? Hell yeah, just like the first movie.
Hell yeah, that's all we want.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
Baby, were little so cute from the movie. Who's that guy?

Speaker 1 (15:56):
Tell you one of those?

Speaker 3 (16:03):
Your responsibility got it to me? Promise? Yeah, control heads,
Hey what are you doing?

Speaker 2 (16:21):
I'm sorry? We want to come any but it's fun.
It's just stitch gags, that's all it is.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
Rough rough rough.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
Cody family means definitely stitch bad.

Speaker 1 (16:50):
That doesn't mean that.

Speaker 3 (16:55):
Close. I don't think you want to drink that.

Speaker 1 (17:02):
And this is a scene where he gets snatched.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
Agent Cobra Bubbles. We have a blue dog tickn.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
It's not ving Raine, That's okay, it's Corney b Vans.
This's the ice cream guy.

Speaker 4 (17:22):
He's not shirtless though, Dan, I'm going to get into
the cows three Stitch, why.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
CROI go the ride?

Speaker 1 (17:39):
Good look Good May twenty third. That's your Memorial Day
movie right there.

Speaker 2 (17:45):
That is a moral Day weekend movie. Ie.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
That is an instant good box office report for that movie.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
So if if you guys ever wonder what here is
like Stitch or is it Leo? Okay, she is one
hundred percent Stitch. She's chaos and it's just, oh my gosh.

Speaker 1 (18:10):
That's are you gonna dress up Kira Stitch when you
go sees this movie?

Speaker 2 (18:14):
I think we may do this. Actually put her in like.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
She's got six legs all of a sudden.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
It's such a X. But this is a great little trailer.
I mean, yeah, it kind of looks like it's going.

Speaker 1 (18:26):
Bee Bee with animated tale and some embellishments to a degree,
which is what you need to make it monitorn make
it entertaining still as a live action movie. But yeah,
it looks like a fun time, and it's for the
new fam, your your fam essentially, you know, well be.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
Going to see this. I think Kira has been to
one movie so far. She said for most of it,
be happy our second one. But yeah, I'm really excited
for this.

Speaker 1 (18:53):
Yeah, I mean obviously, like like we said, we've only
seen Stitch and trailers. This is the first time we've
really seen Maya Kale as lelo In in the movie,
which is really she's done interviews and stuff, but adorable
I think her.

Speaker 2 (19:07):
And then who is playing her sister.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
Her sister is not on the cast list.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
That's unfortunate.

Speaker 1 (19:16):
Oh Sydney Elizabeth Aga Doong is gonna be Nanny, which
would be great. And then obviously Chris Sanders is gonna
voice Stitch again. He was the original director of Lelo
and Stitch and did voice Stitch, and he's always He's
directed The Wild Robot, so that just shows his track record.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
And I think this one unlike other Disney Live action remakes,
well a lot of them are critically hidden missed and
also kind of hit miss with fan reactions, there are
so many. Like I always say it all the time,
when you go to my daughter to school, there's Stitch everywhere,
literally everywhere. Yeah, there's I didn't think, no, go ahead,

(19:51):
I don't think. I don't think there's a chance movie
makes under You have a million dollars.

Speaker 1 (19:54):
And there there's a popular TikTok right now, Whereas like
someone went to Disney and all they see is the
blue Goblin everywhere, and the goblins is Stitch. Disney knows
what it's doing, Like Stitch has already been a presence
in the parks forever, but it's only gonna double down
even more when this movie comes out.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
It's fun. I don't know how such Stich was. Let
me look at you. I don't know how it is.
The last one did internationally, but domestically, this movie's gonna kill.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
Can we get the Stitch ride open again? For this movie?
It's just sitting there. They haven't filled it with anything.

Speaker 2 (20:24):
I think people have been too traumatized by that movie.

Speaker 1 (20:26):
Okay, well maybe right, okay, right, It's it's a scary ride,
but you know what, something You gotta be scared of
theme parks a little bit next you have more fun.

Speaker 2 (20:36):
The first one did uh domestically on one twenty seven.
Internationally in world Watch two.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
This will make this just yeah, and that's in two
thousand and two, right, so it got forever ago.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
Yeah, two thousand and two. Money is just a successful
and that's when people didn't even know what it was.
Now people know what it is, yeah, exactly, And I
don't know was just released.

Speaker 1 (20:55):
They never released on this When when is this movie?

Speaker 2 (20:59):
No, I'm not the first was released during the summer season,
but I don't know what came out during this time.
But yeah, that's gonna be so ridiculous. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
The fun thing is we know Zach got this is
also we see Zach elfan Akt is gonna play doctor
June Bakiba Billy Magnus. And you've seen him in everything.
He's usually like a he he was in the Aladdin movie.
He was that like weird prince that was trying to
woo Jasmine. Yeah, if you've seen that movie, you know
he's in a bunch of stuff. He's gonna be plekely.

(21:28):
Interestingly enough, they are in human form. I don't know
if they're gonna be like that the whole movie or
if they will look animated to a degree. We do
see plekly. A lot of people being like, how come
we don't see pletely in drag. It's a normal thing.
In the movie. We want him in drag. We'll see
what happens.

Speaker 2 (21:43):
I mean, question if he is an alien to our planet,
not a human, can he be in drags in the
costume just.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
What he's wearing, you know, it's normal there.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
So like the whole thing with Rogers, Gay Rogers's an alien.
He just does what he wants.

Speaker 1 (21:57):
It's what's how they are. They're playing. You know, it's
label Yeah, I can't label it what it is. It's different,
and that's okay. But we also know we here in
the beginning, we don't we don't. I mean we see
the back of her head. Hannah watting him is also
gonna be the voice of the Grand Council woman, also
a big authority character, and she looks like the back

(22:17):
of the head looks like the back of the head
in the show in the movie, So.

Speaker 2 (22:22):
The last one, the hug biggest question on her. I
don't know why.

Speaker 1 (22:25):
And then you watch Game of Thrones and shame, shame, shame.

Speaker 2 (22:29):
Okay, I'm better now.

Speaker 1 (22:31):
We do know Tiya Carrera, who originally voiced Nanni in
the original movie, she will be uh, I guess a
social worker responsible for lie Low and.

Speaker 2 (22:41):
Nanni.

Speaker 1 (22:42):
So I think kind of adding in a little bit
of a role that mister Bubbles was to a degree too.

Speaker 4 (22:47):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
And then I believe Amy Hill will be tou tou uh.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
She is in a bunch of stuff makes sense for her.
She was originally missus h Hasagawa in the film in
the show as well, that like Dance Teacher two degree.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
Yeah, I think we only misses that. I think Rings
isn't playing.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
I think the other thing is whoever voiced Leelo Originally.
They haven't really said if she's in it either, But yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (23:14):
Wonder if the reason why Ring's gonna be in it
because I wanted to film the same time missions impossible.

Speaker 1 (23:18):
Probably what it was. Yeah, yeah, but it looks great.
I think this might a lot, you know. Oddly enough,
online sentiment is behind this live action remake of a
Disney movie which never happens. Look at snow White right now,
which yeah, comes out next week.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
The thing about snow White, I said this to my life.
The people that like snow White are unfortunately not a
lot of them are win us anymore. That's the reason
why I want to see it.

Speaker 1 (23:42):
Yeah, I mean right, everyone loves leo'stitch because we're all
in our thirties, so.

Speaker 2 (23:50):
People that saw snow White are either not even I
don't even know what far yeah, but that's why.

Speaker 1 (23:56):
But yeah, it looks good. I mean it's got the
right recipe. Obviously, trailer versus the movie, we'll see what happens.
But's got the right footing. So that's good to see,
at least for what two months away now getting his
first trailer, Buy your.

Speaker 2 (24:08):
Stitch smerch now, because it's.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
Gonna be hard to buy. They already showed off what
the stitch plush is gonna look like. That's gonna be
the hard thing to find, so buy it now as
soon as you see it in store.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
Buy them. She had had one giant one that we
got from Costco, one giant one we got from the
Disney cruise. She's got another one on this ship on
this trip, so she has like seventeen, but she.

Speaker 1 (24:30):
Does not have the live action one. Now, Kevin, that's
the one you gotta buy. See, that's the difference. This
stitch has sunglasses on.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
It's different.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
Well, we could switch on over back to the normal
view where we'll go love that, but We're not done
talking about Disney because yeah, we got the form of
a new trailer today for the Stitch movie. But we
also got some casting news Kevin for the upcoming Spider
Man movie.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
Yeah, so this is breaking news of like what an
hour or two an hour ago? Yeah, really, Sadie Sink
has been cast for a roll in Spider Man four.
Sadie Sink of Stranger Things, run up that hill.

Speaker 1 (25:10):
Max Max from Stranger Things essentially run up that root.

Speaker 2 (25:15):
Yeah, right before there wasn't it wasn't too long ago
what she was remembered that she's gonna be Jane Gray.
So maybe the rumbor was she's gonna be an mcu
project and somebody whos ran with Jane Gray. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (25:27):
Uh. So interesting thing is she's supposed to start with
Tom Hollands. Spider Man four is our friends. The Deadline said.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
That she will.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
She was in the Whale as well. She's been in
a bunch of other things besides Stranger Things, but that's
her main cleavor of fame. The movie is supposed to
be coming out July thirty first, twenty twenty six. It
supposed begin filming later this year, So this is when
we slowly get some casting rumors and news Deadline is
a pretty trusted source.

Speaker 2 (25:52):
You can kind of trust that to a degree.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
She's in the movie right now, all things could change
because remember at one point Mary Jane was supposed to
be an Amazing Spider Man too, and then they cut
Shalane Woodley out of that movie entirely.

Speaker 2 (26:06):
The Amazing spart Man franchise is it needs to be
a book about them, because that's that's it's really crazy.

Speaker 1 (26:11):
Yeah, Marvel and Sony haven't said any specificate. They won't
because it's just an insider track. But Kevin, you're thinking
we're going with the drink Jean Gray rumors that she's
gonna play young Jean Gray.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
I mean, I like that if they continue kind of
like like the piecemeal and these X Men characters, I mean,
but mutants, because we have Miss Marvel, we have a
shoot who was the other one? Uh crap, it was
a recent.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
Movie tooton Oh no no more, no no more. Yeah,
it was another one, so maybe not as good technically.

Speaker 2 (26:45):
Beast We have a beast somewhere because of the Marvels.
But yeah, I would like if she was just a
gene grade that went and started school with him or
something like that. She's out of school, so it would
be a college college aged Gray. Right.

Speaker 1 (26:59):
Well, so here's the interesting thing. There's multiple factors. Well,
let's list the roles she could play and then we'll
break down which which one is, how they work and
Whatnotjeene Gray's obviously a front running one because Red Hair also,
unfortunately the other leaning one, Red Hair is MJ Mary
Jane Watson. We'll go to we'll get we'll get to
the roles first, they will explain, explain what's going down.
And then another one right now, Gwen Stacy, which we've

(27:22):
kind of all rallied behind, originally wanted Sidney Sweeney or
somebody then because it made sense for an Euphouria review
to a reunion Q degree uh and then so and
then the last one black Cat we think maybe as well.

Speaker 2 (27:39):
Black black Cat. But at the same time, I'm not
sure what a black you what what's the name again,
Felicia Hardy, Right, that's Black Cat woman, Felicia Hardy. I
feel like City Sink always plays these very very rough
around the edges characters. I can't see her just because

(28:03):
I don't know how acts act. But I haven't seen
her play that snooty, snooty role of Flicia Hardy and
then the duality of black Cat, who is more like
City Crystal characters. I don't know that'd be interesting if
they pull on f Hardy.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
All right, so we covered that one. Let's go back
to MJ or not. I'm j Jean Gray. If they
do that, it's interesting. I know the old Spider Man
are not the old but like I said, the original
trilogy or whatever the current Tom Holla movies did, some
would say had a problem of their very MCU forward
heavy and not as Spider Man heavy. Doing this would

(28:37):
kind of put that on line again of its teeing
up X men. I mean having her in there is cool.
I don't I don't see it as a problem, but
I think it would wouldn't really make sense to have
Jean Gray in a Spider Man movie.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
You know, yeah, unless for some reason they're in college together.
But even that still doesn't make sense because if we
don't know how they're doing X menu but an X
men Lord, she was at Xavier school. She was like fourteen,
so what makes sense that such a she goes to
college college outside of the school she's doing X Men

(29:12):
stuff at that point, you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (29:14):
Yeah, so then obviously we have that. Uh now let's
talk about MJ. Another Mary Jane Watson Kevin. Do you
want to entertain the thought or no?

Speaker 2 (29:24):
First of all, you're not going to use another girl
into this, Tom Hollands, and they very very book romance.
I don't, I don't. I don't want to see it.

Speaker 1 (29:33):
It's just another Mary Jane Kevin. It shouldn't be a
problem a couple.

Speaker 3 (29:37):
We will not do that.

Speaker 1 (29:38):
So no, this is not gonna be my problem I
have to deal with dammit.

Speaker 2 (29:44):
I love those dumk kids and they have a shot.

Speaker 1 (29:48):
But yeah, I think a lot of people saying that
obviously because she has red hair. I kind of don't
want that to happen, just because like it's in day
we talk I about this when we first predicted you know,
Zindia coming back.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
Is that like if she's not in it?

Speaker 1 (30:05):
Cooling the Gwenn Stacy Ratt will talk about that in
a second, But like you can't recast, and the interesting
thing is here and I've been saving it until we
got to MJ.

Speaker 2 (30:14):
Sadie Sing is twenty two.

Speaker 1 (30:15):
Tom Holland's twenty eight, So it's a little weird. I know,
Tom Hanand plays and looks young, but it's a little weird,
you know.

Speaker 2 (30:23):
I when I got to the phase of Tom Howell's older.

Speaker 1 (30:25):
Now Tom Holland is a little older. Now, you know,
I can be playing with all the Netflix actors right now,
Zindaia being twenty eight like worked perfectly for them to
take up Italian as well, Like they're all the same age.
They looked and grew up with each other. I think
casting him and then here is MJ but she looks
way younger than you do, Like doesn't make sense to
me at least.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
Yeah, and he's talk gonna have a good point in
the chat here she says that Spider Man in one
comic run kind of had a thing with Kitty Pride.
They could do the little swaper root thing like they
with Hank Pim, Andy Stark and Eat of Ultron w
he is switching great with Kitty Pride. I mean that's
wouldn't do it.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
They could, I mean, if they really do. Kitty Pride
is probably another mutant that was a bigger deal in
like the og x Men movies, but not you didn't
get to see the full gamut of what what Kitty
Pride could do until like the last move days of
future pass essentially at the end.

Speaker 2 (31:17):
There could be cool.

Speaker 1 (31:21):
But Kevin, let's move on to Gwen Stacy. Do you
think that one she could be Gwen Stacy? Kind of
the same rules apply. She is the age thing there,
but a lot of people being like, well, Emma Stone
did dire hair blond too, so.

Speaker 2 (31:33):
Is Gwen Stacy. I don't see that happening either, because
I just feel like they've already They've already made everybody
on earth. Forget that Peter Parker exists as Spider Man
friends of re. Memory's not even gonn give him girlfriend
to kill him to two like this is just too
much Spider Trump. They can't do all that.

Speaker 1 (31:54):
And obviously with Gwen Stacy or MJ you probably would
Tea and Harry Osbourne to a degree as well.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
But Kevin, I've left one off.

Speaker 1 (32:01):
The board, and I haven't told you this one specifically
because it was waiting until he got through all those
candidates before it got to this one. And you it
might blow your mind because I doubt you've thought of it.
You haven't thought about it in a while. Are you
ready to hear it? What about I think Sadie sinc
is going to be Firestar in Spider Man. Actually Wikipedia

(32:23):
page right now they're like, who the hell is Firestar?
Firestar is from the og Spider Man in his Amazing
Friends series from nineteen eighty one, using uh Firestar and Iceman,
and I have a feeling. I'm like, they could do this.
Here's your new trio and here's Bobby as Iceman. At
the same time.

Speaker 2 (32:45):
The best part about that too, was fire Stars a mutant, and.

Speaker 1 (32:49):
So that's it's indirectly your mutants, but it's also Spider
Man core as well, exactly.

Speaker 2 (32:54):
So I think that that she is a really good
thing to do it again. We know Spider Man's alone
in this world. Now give him a friend Firestar maybe
at the end of the movie. Me Bobby Drake, I mean,
could be kind of cool just saying his own like
faux Avengers type of teamers that.

Speaker 1 (33:13):
He's the leader of, because he's kind of not been
the leader of a team. He's kind of been just
the kid rookie. Now he can be a leader of
a team.

Speaker 2 (33:21):
I will put Firestar as I won't go over half.
I'll say fifty five percent.

Speaker 1 (33:25):
That's why I want to happen. I want Fire Star
to happen. Now, if you want to what's fire Who
is Firestar? Angelica Jones? Like we said, she's really mostly
introduced and Spider Man is Amazing Friends, which is an
animad series with like we just said, Uh, she has
the powers to generate manipulate microwave radiation which causes flames.
In the comics, he's been solo, been part of the

(33:46):
team with Spider Man, part of the New Warriors, the Avengers,
and the X Men. So I mean, whether we see it,
we do it in the movie, or we do it
in your friendly neighborhood Spider Man, they could do that.

Speaker 2 (33:59):
I'm of this. I'm a fan of this a lot
because it gets apart Men from being alone. Number one,
because right now he's a loan in the world. There's
no Mary Jane. There's no uh what's his name?

Speaker 3 (34:10):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (34:11):
They got it. They gotta domatic now name little ned
Mary Jane. I mean is dead. Tony Stark's dead. The
only person that may know him in the only first
right now is four and maybe Peter Quill. That's it. Oh,
he needs he needs somebody he's alone. I want him
to have friends. Yeah, I think that'd be really cool.

Speaker 1 (34:28):
Obviously, then you can kind of vary your age because
she's not you know, she's Beer's peer, but she's maybe
a younger hero on the rise. He's been Spider Man
for like a year solid, and he sees these new
heroes that don't know what the hell they're doing. He
can coach him.

Speaker 2 (34:42):
I think, I think it really cool.

Speaker 1 (34:43):
Obviously, we'd have to wait to see if we get
like a new new younger male actor casting as Iceman,
and then once you get that, you pretty much have
sold in that boom and boom right there.

Speaker 2 (34:54):
It's also a good thing to do because even though
she is an established Marble character, she's not very obscure,
mean exactly. It's not Jane Gray was yet you know
what Gray's going see Jane Gray. Phoenix is not somewhere
in the future do what you want.

Speaker 1 (35:06):
Yeah, you really can't, because minus the eighties show not
really pop cult, not really zeitgeist of pop culture.

Speaker 2 (35:14):
You know exactly. So that's the other reason why I
think this may be the decision.

Speaker 1 (35:18):
Yeah, I think, uh so we're gonna go with that
one for the time being. Until they're like, no, she
is not that she's gonna be Gwen Stacy in our
hearts will break because like the age Gap, the age gap, No,
don't go any near any Colock Towers please, with love
of God.

Speaker 2 (35:37):
BOYD.

Speaker 1 (35:38):
Then completely they don't even exist nowadays.

Speaker 2 (35:41):
That's why I don't work anymore. I'm plucked to watching
the strange of things that you never pluted back in
dig I don't trust it anymore.

Speaker 1 (35:47):
Uh but yeah, so we we got still some time
to come, probably find out more info in that this summer.

Speaker 2 (35:52):
But Kevin's staying in the marble realm of news.

Speaker 1 (35:55):
Let's get on into it. It's time to break down
episode three of Daredevil Born Again.

Speaker 2 (36:01):
So let's break it down. So episode three was called
the Hollow of His Hand and whoof that ending? Baby?

Speaker 1 (36:15):
That ending?

Speaker 2 (36:18):
What episode? That episode was so tense. It felt more
like law and Order than than episode of comic book Superhero.

Speaker 1 (36:24):
Which I think at one point is what shea Hulk
was gonna be, and then got a little too comical,
which it is what it is. But then, uh, I
really enjoyed this episode. I know a lot of people
jaredofl wasn't in the suit at all. But I'm like,
we don't need him in suit every time and it works.

Speaker 2 (36:38):
Though since the first ten minutes of episode one, it's
been great. Let's not complaining live your life. We started
choosing that.

Speaker 1 (36:46):
But pretty much like keV said, it was a very
legal drama heavy episode. Matt defending hector ayala okay white Tiger.

Speaker 2 (36:54):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (36:55):
Eventually we find out what happens that that. We'll get
to that and the spoiler parts of the of the
podca cast. But I think it's still firing all cylinders.
I think we're still doing good. I know we have
six episodes ago, but three episodes in, I'm I'm hooked.

Speaker 2 (37:12):
I'm actually upset. I'm happy, but excuse me, sorry that
I'm happy, but I muscle upset that this Netflix here,
you go watch them all because I'm like, I'm on
to the next one.

Speaker 1 (37:24):
Come on, tell me, I want to see it.

Speaker 2 (37:26):
Please.

Speaker 1 (37:27):
But yeah, I think let's just put the spoilers up
because it really in a spoiler heavy episode. I can't
really talking about legal drawings.

Speaker 2 (37:34):
I'm talking about the spoilers. Uh.

Speaker 1 (37:36):
But episode three, like we said, the hollow of his hand, Uh,
We'll get straight to the end of it three two one,
White Tiger's dead, he's gone, He's gone. And and who's
showing up next week probably.

Speaker 2 (37:50):
Kevin Freak Castle Babe John Burne.

Speaker 1 (37:54):
Yeah, Punisher, maybe he's back.

Speaker 2 (37:58):
I like it so much from a I guess if
you want to use this term, I hate to use
the term social justice standpoint. How so many officers used
to punish her as some kind of symbol about their
final against crime, like no, no, no, no, we're leaning
into it now, we're getting in it. You need to
fight crime according to the constitution. Was a crazy person.
He's gonna kill anybody, so you can't fight criminals with mass.

Speaker 1 (38:23):
But yeah, pretty much that it was the big reveal
moment of Hey, Punishers coming a lot sooner than we think. Remember,
I believe it's episode six and seven or two back
to back episodes, so that would pride up with that's
the next arc in this season if we're doing like
three episode seasons to a degree, so we'in to Punisher
right now, we are.

Speaker 2 (38:44):
And as soon as because I didn't see season two
punisheruse I went to watch it. I just never got
a chance to watch it and got away from me.
But apparently he I guess retires in that season. That
kind of does anything punishing anymore so to see somebody
uh use his his logo it's insignia kills who was

(39:06):
righteous doing the right thing? That that's not He's going
to be a proagnaical on a war path. Anybody who
has that tattoo in New York did, Yes, they're done.

Speaker 1 (39:18):
But Kevin, let's get through the episode. Then we'll talk
about what we think is going to happen for sure
as well because that we had to talk about that
spoil their part and get that out of the room
because that was the main thing going on too.

Speaker 2 (39:28):
It was open preak, wasn't Frank, I don't think it
was from.

Speaker 1 (39:31):
I don't think it was either. Well set leaks showed
that it was not, but maybe we'll find it, thank
you set leaks. But essentially the episode kicks off Maddie
is visiting Hector in the court jail to reassure before
it's court. We had this cool little story about Coki's
which that was real sad at the end with the
it was like, oh man, uh finding out that Hector

(39:51):
like you know, the thing he misses from uh Puerto
Rico's Cokies they made for life and when they like
call in the afternoon in the evening for their partners
and I college true love can't wait to go back
home and see that. Matt promises, you know, he will
go home and see that.

Speaker 2 (40:05):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (40:05):
But then we cut to a drug deal gone wrong,
and obviously it's the Kingpin families just kind of infighting
with themselves because no one's really leading them anymore.

Speaker 2 (40:15):
It's leaders, because you're not leaders to say when the
when a cats are away, the rats will play. They're
definitely a lot.

Speaker 1 (40:22):
Of rats and the rats will eat themselves. And then
there's one mega rat and that's it's a little scary
master splinter over there.

Speaker 2 (40:29):
Well the rat from Rick and Morty that too, That
too is uh.

Speaker 1 (40:33):
But we find out that Fisk and Vanessa are kind
of like not really taking control of their empire because
they got to play you know, the public figure where
is leading them to cause tension anymore. Fists doesn't really
care about sort of that life of crime, even though
he really does because his fists are still bloody. They
didn't really explain that, but we'll find that out. It's
the second time to show that he's just he's just
punching meat. You know, he's tenderizing it. He can't he

(40:54):
doesn't have a tenderrizer at home. It's okay, wan dish
veal for dinner. But Fist essentially say, you know, it's
not my problem anymore, but it cut is and he's
kind of taken on a new mob family it's the
NYPD fortunately, you.

Speaker 2 (41:12):
Know, Yeah, basically he turned them to his new mob. Yeah,
but I thought it was a cool transition.

Speaker 1 (41:18):
We do look at fisks bloody hands, and we cut
the Matt's bloody hands as he's why put him clean
before he does go into court, the crop cop Officer
Pale does corner Matt in the bathroom, but Matt uh
kind of side steps him with the loss that worked out.
We were kind of like, oh, this is where we're
going with the show. And I said, now we got
on into wraps. Matt's pretty smart, so he's not that dumb.

Speaker 2 (41:39):
Better, Yeah, beat me up being fotball at him right now.

Speaker 1 (41:44):
But we see that outside of we see that Cherry
is meeting with the witness which was what was his name?

Speaker 2 (41:53):
What was his name?

Speaker 1 (41:53):
Kevin is uh Nicktora? So I think you're right, Niki Torres.

Speaker 2 (42:01):
There we go.

Speaker 1 (42:01):
We see that Cherry does have Nikki Torres stashed away
inside a safe house. The safe house on the outside
of it does have another Punisher logo. If you looked
in the corner of it, it does say muse. So
we will be getting there too as well as.

Speaker 2 (42:16):
The only issue I had with this part and this
this is a nitpicky and it's not going to anybody
else's but I know for a fact that if you
have a witness to your scared man to make it
to the stand, they do like FaceTime in court.

Speaker 1 (42:30):
Yeah yeah, you know, not superheroes, but not FaceTime.

Speaker 2 (42:34):
Yeah yeah. But we find out that uh, Officer Palell.

Speaker 1 (42:41):
While Cherry is bringing Torres to court, Officer Palell is
kind of reframing his confrontation with Hector lying on the
stand and make it seem like Hector attacked him. Matt
does interrogate Officer Powell and tells the court that Nicki
Torres is coming in.

Speaker 2 (42:55):
Like we said, Powell lies.

Speaker 1 (42:56):
We do see that Matt notices another punisher cop like
you kind of mentioned in court with the punisher tattoo,
and like, oh, there's a lot of these. I don't
like that I don't like that, not at all. Cherry
does eventually get pulled over by Officer Pale out of nowhere,
like he just came from court and pulled them over himself.

Speaker 2 (43:15):
Yeah, real quick.

Speaker 1 (43:16):
Turns out Cherry was a decoy that did get the
witness to the stand. But you know, it's early an
episode and you're like, oh, it's not gonna go how
I think it is. Tore his lies, intimidated by the
cops all looking at him, being like, oh, they could
probably hurt your family most likely if you don't testify
the right way.

Speaker 2 (43:36):
Hated it so much, like I'm not getting to but
it's maybe the storyline, py yes.

Speaker 1 (43:45):
But Matt then decides that he is gonna flip flip
the script. Uh, They're gonna put Hector on the stand
and tell his side of the story. Eventually, Matt does question,
you know how, like why he was going to try
the train station. We find out Hector had made a
deposit on a house for the fam. They're moving out

(44:05):
an apartment, Like, oh, man, I really.

Speaker 2 (44:07):
Like this character. I hope nothing goes wrong at the.

Speaker 1 (44:09):
End of this episode for said character. Eventually, Matt does
ask Hector about being white Tiger. This stirs up the case.
I love that Matt's like he misled the judge just
to get the point across of like this was working
for our favor. Now we've did line here is it's
open season now on Hector being White Tiger, which it
does at the end of the episode, now that everyone

(44:31):
knows where.

Speaker 2 (44:31):
He lives.

Speaker 1 (44:34):
And we find out that Hector does tell Matt on
the side, you know you should have asked me first
before we villid my identity. Matt tells Hector, you know,
if you're acquitted, you can't really be White Tiger if
you want to protect your family, which I guess you
didn't learn that lesson less essentially, but Matt, it does
get people saved by White Tiger to take the stand.

(44:57):
We do get police reports. An officer Morale is mentioned. Yes,
but here's the thing. A lot of people obviously teeing up. Well,
that's gotta be Miles' dad, But we've seen in the
Spider Verse Miles's dad is Jefferson Davis, so I know
it's it's a newer comic thing that Jefferson switched his
name to Morales. So I think it's more of this

(45:18):
Ah that's all right. I appreciate that, you know.

Speaker 2 (45:21):
But also Jill dealing with the crazy word on the
Spider verse. It could be a world where's a mom
is a cop and father is that is true?

Speaker 1 (45:29):
That is true, but if anything, I mean it gotta
pop everybody. You mentioned Morales now I think it's it's
the same thing as saying Montoya in DC, like, oh, Batman,
I know Montoya Montoya, the same thing. But eventually we
get the line from the DA the mask doesn't or
someone says the mask doesn't make the man. But the

(45:51):
DA does try to flip the white Tiger narrative, kind
of leading with that nasty death story on the subway.
I'm like, good, is this not leading in the Jersey
because it's fount like leaning the jury.

Speaker 2 (46:01):
You know, what did you hit? What do you hit
by a train? Still alive to the train stops backs
up on you. What the hell.

Speaker 1 (46:10):
You thought dying in the subway thanks to a predator
was gnarly dying under the subways even predator to shout
out to spoiler territory, thank you. But the DA also says,
you know, real heroes don't need to hide behind mass,
which is kind of a little bit of the debate
on the on this uh in this court case as well.

Speaker 2 (46:29):
Probably went to a building they want to wear a mask.

Speaker 1 (46:31):
Yeah, I don't know, it's COVID. Everyone got a mask up.
But Matt does show up to the courtroom early the
next day. I just thought this was interesting just because
Daredevil and Matt Murdoch are very cap Catholicism coded with
the church. Is how weird a courtroom parallels a church
at the same time, like.

Speaker 2 (46:50):
It's pew, it's purpose.

Speaker 1 (46:52):
Yeah, I know, I know when you think about it,
you're like, oh, yeah, that's that's how politics used to
be back then day and kind of hard today. Anyway,
we find out the jury does reach a verdict. They
say Hector is not guilty, and you're like, hell, yeah,
who got that? Though they got every second out of that.

(47:12):
You could get second degree, third degree not guilty. This
in case you weren't paying attention, not guilty.

Speaker 2 (47:21):
Go through it all now.

Speaker 1 (47:23):
But we obviously it's like, all right, dope, Hector made it.

Speaker 2 (47:25):
This is what we wanted.

Speaker 1 (47:27):
We see that Fisk is watching the court verdict.

Speaker 2 (47:30):
He does ask.

Speaker 1 (47:30):
Daniel, one of his aides his he has like all
three of his aids do different things. He has Daniel,
who is just Gandel Fini Junior if we want to
call him. That is his buffoon that gets him in
contact with bbi Oulric. He has his like henchman AID,
which deals with the mob families, and then he has
his actual mayor ol aid and what they actually should

(47:52):
do as an aide to the mayor.

Speaker 2 (47:54):
Do you think the guy is his muse?

Speaker 1 (47:57):
No, I think a muse was the guy that needed
help from the first episode.

Speaker 2 (48:01):
From that, I'm not sure if it's got they gotta
either help or the therapist. Oh, I don't know. She's
just way too like friendly trust her.

Speaker 1 (48:13):
I do think though, they might be leaning more into
the superheroes having a normal partner and that not every
superhero needs to have a superhero partner like Elektra, you know,
like all that stuff.

Speaker 2 (48:26):
But who knows. I mean, you could be right.

Speaker 1 (48:28):
We'll find out that as episodes go. But Fast asked
Ganel Feenie Junior to get in contact with bbi Olrick.
His mayor Oldad is like, well we have the times
he said, no I want bb Olrick, gimme baby.

Speaker 2 (48:41):
After he killed her uncle. The least he can do
now she works for me.

Speaker 1 (48:45):
This is what I wanted ben Ulrich to do, Now
I got bb to do it instead.

Speaker 2 (48:50):
Apparently, I guess in the comic books, when it comes
to like, uh, newspaper people, it's is they Jameson is
Robbie and then's so there's it's a big deal when
any one of those people show up. When it comes
to newspapers, it's crazy just saying.

Speaker 1 (49:07):
But then we find out that Matt is making dinner
for Heather. Heather Quinn the therapist. She's celebrating with Matt,
kind of doing tradition they did with Foggy with a
drink of old O'melvi's sure. Heather does ask about Foggy
and you can tell Matt notices up the therapist goggles
have gone.

Speaker 2 (49:25):
On on either.

Speaker 1 (49:28):
Tell me, so how about Foggy and he has a
little like okay, I see what you did there now,
And while this is going on, they celebrate and just
honor Foggy's memory degree for winning the court case. We
find out Fisk is talking to Bbie about the White
Tiger case.

Speaker 2 (49:43):
Being a miscarriage of justice.

Speaker 1 (49:46):
Uh, He's like okay, and he says I should know
it's a miscarriage of justice because he obviously better the
rules to get what he wanted to. But while this
is going on, Hector shuits up as white Tiger with
the amulent we could kind of the one main s
shot we see of him as white Tiger. Unfortunately, Uh,
he walks up a set of stairs he noticedes someone screaming,

(50:07):
gets up the top of the stairs, gets shot, most
likely by a fist guy. Uh.

Speaker 2 (50:11):
This is where fists saying.

Speaker 1 (50:13):
The law, the rule of law must prepel.

Speaker 2 (50:17):
Well, it does me and maybe it's not, but I
feel like that white Tiger of costume was a repurposed
Godspeed costume for this. It could have been, It could
have been.

Speaker 1 (50:26):
But white Tiger does die. We find out the person
that killed them is wearing Punished your gear, and that's
where episode ends. And we hear Koki's whistling the credits
and you're like, oh.

Speaker 2 (50:36):
Man, quick point of order. Now we tall white Tiger
in court. He references living with his sister and niece.
His niece becomes white Tiger and so does his, So
we may have seen almost an ordin story because I'm
pretty sure I didn't take the ambulet around from his
neck and whoever finds them by returned that to the
family and we have another story of revenge. Now, yes,

(50:57):
family wanted to find out who killed there, who killed basically.

Speaker 1 (51:00):
And I do think that's something you could pick up
in Daredevil's season two. It was just like it's a
young character. I didn't even know White Tiger very associated
with Daredevil in the comics, like that's how he died
essentially in the comics too.

Speaker 2 (51:12):
You also you can also pick it up too, I
think if he wanted to in The Punisher, especially going
to do because as far as that family know what
the Punisher killed him because of, because of the local
that the guy had on, So that could be a
thing about you kill my father, you know I didn't.
I killed a person though.

Speaker 1 (51:27):
What we're gonna do now, I think that's a cool
that's a cool team up another potential young Avenger that
now people know about a lot or just one of
them having a sidekick apprentice to a degree to which
is which is always a fun mechanic in storytelling. Sidekicking
Spider Man, yeah, friendly neighborhood Spider Man there.

Speaker 2 (51:47):
Yeah, but I think.

Speaker 1 (51:51):
Rocking with it so far obviously we assume punish her
next week, or we'll deal with a fallout of this
and then Furnisher in five, six and seven most likely,
but we're getting there. It's gonna be real good. It's
gonna be real violent, most likely. We're probably saving the
violence for episode six and seven. I'm gonna call it now.

Speaker 2 (52:07):
I can't wait for what what whatever causes him to
go back into his room and get a suits out.
It's gonna be real bad. Yeah, I can't wait to
see it, but I can't wait to see it.

Speaker 1 (52:16):
And yeah, because I think that you're talking about the
Punisher Daredevil.

Speaker 2 (52:21):
Oh shoot, what do you think about Punisher? Either one?

Speaker 1 (52:23):
Yeah, because we know obviously for the trailer Matt has
a loo a plethora of helmets. We see different colors
and all that stuff. But I think the same thing
with Punisher, and I think that's we We we already
kind of know they're doing the special presentation, so I
assume that might be your end credit scene potentially or
an end thing here in season one of Team at

(52:45):
the Punisher special presentation.

Speaker 2 (52:48):
And we've seen when Matt goes to that dark place
of Daredevil, he he does not stop. He's relentless, and
I am so excited to see it because I mean,
he thought he did a good job, but he did
do a good job and didn't even mattern' even matter.

Speaker 1 (53:03):
And so I think that's kind of the the dual
dual cootomy. You're gonna dichotomy you're gonna see between him
is himself and him as Daredevil where it is a lie,
but it's overall loving it and it's uh, it's been
great and it really is to see this show do well,
especially when a lot of people critique Disney Plus shows
of like Okay, wow, they would have kept this going

(53:24):
or tragging on, or he would have been in the
suit and.

Speaker 2 (53:26):
All this stuff.

Speaker 1 (53:27):
I think it's really good for the show to have
its own identity. I think we praised the same thing
for Agatha all along, of like they're in the MCU,
but they could still have their identity. They're Insignia and
they're all all their good stuff, but still be tied
to everything larger as well.

Speaker 2 (53:40):
Also shout out to Disney Plus and make it of
the show for getting right to the limit of where
I can take a show, because this one was like
forty nine minutes. The first one was like fifty four,
so that's like that like my limit. So I'm like, yeah,
thank you. That's where I can keep going to that
not lose.

Speaker 1 (53:53):
Interest exactly, and not be like, all right, I need
to check my phone. Something must have happened by by now, you.

Speaker 2 (53:58):
Know, I don't know the end of that. For people
that don't like the twenty nine and the thirty minute shows,
this is long and long for them as well. Good Joeah,
it's like the perfect length of a good balance.

Speaker 1 (54:06):
Now you know, the length of an episode doesn't tell
us much anymore nowadays.

Speaker 2 (54:10):
We've kind of learned that with Disney Plus. So I
don't forget the disappointment. I think it was Mando first season.

Speaker 1 (54:16):
He was like, oh, thirty minutes, what the hell that's it?
But it was a jamp back thirty minutes. But let
us know what you think Aboutdared Devilboard again. Obviously we'll
be talking about that for the weeks to come. But
friendly reminder, Invincible season three finale happens tomorrow. Is this
podcast recording. Obviously, we'll talk about it on Thursday, but

(54:36):
expect some big things. I would say watch it as
soon as you can, because it will probably be spoiled
if you don't.

Speaker 2 (54:42):
We also have a pen ultimate episode of Severest.

Speaker 1 (54:45):
Which hopefully we'll get back to the drama and see
what happens.

Speaker 2 (54:50):
Yeah. I think it's gonna be something very very It's
gonna push you to, oh my gosh, I got watch
next week. It's something very very very very very Cliffhanary.

Speaker 1 (54:57):
Very Cliffhangary. But obviously we'll talk that those on Monday. Uh.

Speaker 2 (55:44):
Flag fly baby, yeah, baby, let it fly.

Speaker 1 (55:47):
You know what I'm saying. I listen to a lot
of berry white today at work for some reason.

Speaker 2 (55:50):
I don't know why. It's weird.

Speaker 1 (55:52):
