In dieser Folge von "Langeweile gibt's nicht" wird es laut, rhythmisch und voller Energie. Wir haben uns in Altenburg auf die Spuren des brasilianischen Karnevals begeben und die Samba-Gruppe "Como Vento" (Wie der Wind) bei ihrer Probe besucht.
Wir wollten wissen: Wie viel Brasilien steckt wirklich in Altenburg? Und vor allem: Kann da jeder mitmachen?
Mitten im lebendigen Theaterbetrieb von Altenburg-Gera befindet sich der Jugendclub Maskenfabrik. Hier kommen Jugendliche zusammen, um jedes Jahr gemeinsam mit einer Theaterpädagogin und einem Schauspieler ein eigenes Stück zu entwickeln. Dabei sind sie aktiv in den Alltag einer professionellen Theaterproduktion eingebunden und erleben hautnah, wie Theater entsteht.
Das eigene Dorf selbst gestalten, das haben sich Jugendliche aus der Regelschule in Dobitschen vorgenommen. Mit Hilfe von Lehrern und einer Künstlerin wurde der verwilderte Park des Wasserschlosses Dobitschen mit eigenen Ideen und eigener Kunst wieder zum Leben erweckt.
Mit unserem neuen Format wollen wir gleich mehreren Vorurteilen entgegenwirken. Einerseits heißt es oft, für Jugendliche gibt es im Altenburger Land zu wenig Angebote. Andererseits würde sich die Jugendlichen aber auch für nichts mehr interessieren. In unserer Reihe stellen wir vor, was Jugendliche im Altenburger Land in ihrer Freizeitgestaltung tun. Gwendolin Gäbler besucht zwar noch das Gymnasium, aber sie ist auch schon Buchautorin. Die Altenburgerin widmet ihre Freizeit ganz der Kunst und dem Schreiben von Büchern.
