Today we're going to go inside Entertainment. Imagine this, Okay,

(01:38):
So you're David Beckham and you get this huge endorsement
for Boss Underwear, so of course you're going to be
doing huge billboards in Boss Underwear, right, and then your
mother in law sees it, and I'll tell you what
she said to Beckham about his Boss package boy.

Speaker 7 (02:00):
Next, next past one oh three point five, The ellen
K Morning Show. Text us anytime at five one oh
three five Coast one o three.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Point five Inside Entertainment with ellen K.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
I was seeing this all over Instagram yesterday. It's David
Beckham standing with his tattooed perfect body in Boss underwear,
and some of them he's standing up. Another one he's
sitting down with one leg kind of a knee bent,
and then the other one open.

Speaker 6 (02:27):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
Anyway, his mother in law saw it and she said, David,
you can see everything if you zoom in. Well, don't
zoom in. Well that's exactly what he said. He said,
don't zoom in, but you can see everything. And like
I said, it's all over Instagram. He's got this new
Boss underwear campaign and his mother in law is not
really having it. I did some naked modeling for Playboy

(02:54):
and didn't tell my mother in law, and so she
called the radio station to talk to my husband and
on hold, you could hear a promo for it.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Oh, and that's how she found out.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
That's how she found out.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
Then what Well, she called me.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
And she said, let's see four words. What were you thinking?
What did you say? I said, well, we you know,
it's kind of a fun little station promotion.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Yeah, good cover, it's work. Yeah. So she called you
at work to discuss. I mean, yeah, we're live.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Well no, I mean I wasn't live. I was. It
was right here she waited. But you know, then I
felt like I should have given her heads up. David
Beckham should have given his mother in law of the
heads up and just say, look, you're gonna be able
to see everything, but just don't zoom in. Okay, what
about this Millie Bobby Brown she wants to play Britney

(03:54):
Spears in the upcoming biopic.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
I am, you know, influcible of how bringing her story
to life, how she wants to and how she wants to.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Absolutely, I would not want that, you know. I don't
want somebody to bring it to life in the most
useful way, So I can you know I would always
be open someone. Okay, let's see no word from Brittany yet.
See if she actually wants Millie Bobby Brown. It is
side by say photo. They look pretty.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
Sommar, It's the L and K Morning Show.

Speaker 8 (04:37):
Awesome, Thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Oh my goodness, who is this?

Speaker 8 (04:41):
This is Fernando from the City of Engwood.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
All right, Fernando you're up early. What are you doing?

Speaker 8 (04:46):
Oh? Just I'm just sitting to work right now.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
I do want to say hello to where you work.

Speaker 8 (04:51):
I work for the water utilities. I just want to
say hi to everybody, but I don't want to mention
the name.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
Okay, that's fine. Good for you. So you have a
sign you heard calling now your color twenty. You're going
to Pink Martini at the Greek Wonders.

Speaker 8 (05:05):
Sol Thank you so much. I love listening to you.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Oh we love having you here, Fernando, thank you.

Speaker 8 (05:10):
Thank you, thank you. More.

Speaker 7 (05:12):
Feel Good is coming up on the L and K
Morning Show. Coast one o three point five. It's the
L and K Morning Show.

Speaker 6 (05:18):
Thank you so much, Ellen.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
I love you guys.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
You guys are the bat.

Speaker 8 (05:21):
You make me happy every day when I listen to you, guys.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Coast one oh three point five.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
Let's get happy with the Happiness Hack. Every weekday we
give it to you. Well, Ryan, does you said something
about wedding your jeans? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (05:34):
Well, I know it's not a certain way, but I
don't mean it like that.

Speaker 4 (05:37):
I when Dar walked in this morning, my very first
thing I noticed I said to her, I said, dark,
look at those jeans. They're amazing and dark. I know
you had recently come into a trove, a treasure trove
of jeans from your mother, Laura.

Speaker 5 (05:49):
Yes, my mom had all of her old genes from
the nineties, even from the eighties, like her Levi's. Yeah,
the kind that you see like on full House.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
Yes, that's a really value.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
They make me really well.

Speaker 5 (06:01):
So I've been wearing a different pair almost every day
and i love them.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
Okay, Well, if you have geens that you want to
make fit just a little better, because there's nothing like
putting on a pair of jeans that that move with
you right right, that don't feel too rigid or you're like,
you know, there's nothing worse than a bad pair. Yes, okay,
So this is an interesting little hack. It's very short
and sweet. So you spray them, you put them on,
and then you spray lukewarm water on the parts you

(06:27):
want to stretch, and you.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
Do like a couple lunches.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
Uh huh.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
You could stretch up, pull your leg up, so you're
getting a little exercise, and the jeans then become very
stretchy and form fitting and exactly how you want the
genes to be.

Speaker 5 (06:40):
I actually do wet my jeans because they're very stiff.
Oh yeah, yeah, and then I like, I just get
a water bottle and I spray them and I throw
them in the dryer.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Yeah. And it makes them feel better too when you
that's a great happiness weight your jeans.

Speaker 7 (06:55):
The next on the L and K Morning Show, Coast
one oh three point five.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
It's the L and K Morning Show. You guys are amazing.

Speaker 9 (07:03):
I appreciate everything you do and for making everybody smile
every day, no matter what the circumstance.

Speaker 8 (07:09):
So thank you.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
Cost one oh three point five.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
Top Stories top of the hour. Good morning, I'm Ellen
K and Governor Gavin Newsom is talking about the Menendez brothers.
All right, so he is ordering an investigation into whether
Eric and Lyle are fit to return to public life.
He says it's a critical first step before here or
anyone else can decide if they get out of prison,
he wants them to go through a comprehensive risk assessment

(07:36):
before he would go before any other board.

Speaker 6 (07:38):
The risk assessment will be conducted as they typically are
conducted by experts in public safety as well as forensic psychologists.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
All right, that's the latest on that, and what about this.
Airplane related mishaps continue to be a top headlined everywhere today.
Two separate instances currently trending, first that smoke filled cabin
in Atlanta and then a close call on the runway
at Midway and Chaka, I'll go everyone is okay. And
so now the NTSB putting out this saying that flying
on a US commercial airline is one of the safest
things you can do, and it's become incredibly safe in

(08:09):
the last forty years. Data shows that there were fewer
airline accidents last month than any other January on record.
And it was Luca's revenge game last night, as the
Lakers hosted his former team, the Dallas Mavericks at Crypto.
Luca went off Doncis put up his first triple double
as a Laker in an eight point win, and he
wasn't shy about letting the MAVs know.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
Things could get real spicy here throughout this game.

Speaker 8 (08:33):
As Dutch, it's ripped from the one that immediately turned
to the Mavericks space.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
I stared him down. And the Lakers have won eight
of their last ten and just jumped into fourth place
in the Western Conference. They welcomed the tea Wolves tomorrow,
and we're staying hot for your Wednesday Valley highs heading
up to eighty five, possibly ninety in some areas, and
then we cool back down later in the week and
then into the weekend. Silmer eighty five Southgate, you go
up to eighty today and right now it's fifty five

(09:00):
in Burbank. We run on Celsia's Energy drinks. It's KOST

Speaker 2 (09:32):
Write to Ellen for advice because she's seen a thing
or two.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
She is Ellen all right. This one from Monique in Elmonte.
Thank you for writing to us and trusting us. Monique.
Dear Ellen, my husband of four years notified me six
months ago that he fell in love with one of
the salespeople and then served me divorce papers one week later.

(09:57):
Thankfully we never had kids together. I took the news
hard because I really love him, and I still do.
I haven't been able to date. And now let's fast forward.
He just told me he's been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and
his new girlfriend left him. Am I wrong for thinking
of taking him back? I've always seen him as my
forever love. Needs your help, Monique? All right, Monique, I

(10:23):
mean you've been hurt once. I know you love him.
He left you and divorced, he like served you papers
and then he got dumped, so he probably really needs
you now. He's coping with fibromiologia. I know that Lady
Gaga suffers with that and that you can have flare

(10:43):
ups and it takes a special kind of care. So
you know, all alone, he's probably really feeling like he
misses Monique. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
Can you separate?

Speaker 4 (10:57):
You almost have to try to separate the condition from
the condition in which he left you exactly, you know. Yeah, Like,
I know it's tough, and I know you want to
be there for him, but don't forget what happened. You
can't forget what he did.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
He showed his character like maybe you could take care
of him a little bit or help him with his fibromiologia,
but not let him back in your life. But she
loves him, they were married for four years.

Speaker 4 (11:26):
Well, you can have a different kind of love for
somebody like that without putting yourself back at risk.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
And then he gets dumped by the girlfriend.

Speaker 5 (11:38):
The girlfriend didn't sign up for through sickness and in
health No, but the life ended that contract, of course.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
So he's out there on his own.

Speaker 3 (11:47):
I think, I think too, I think too.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
Let's help Monique. It's eight hundred and nine two nine kost.

that's a lot. One fourth of all love relationships end
because of this. What is it? It is eight hundred

Q and A on Coast one o three point five.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
Let's good at Chris Moore Elementary. Missus Selby, welcome, Hi, Hi,
good morning, Good morning, missus Selby. What class do you teach?

Speaker 8 (13:57):
I teach sixth grade?

Speaker 1 (13:58):
All right? How are your student? Are they all behaving.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
Most of the time?

Speaker 1 (14:02):
Okay, most of the time? Okay, good, all right. So
what do you think it is? Twenty five percent of
love relationships end because of what?

Speaker 9 (14:10):
Well, I was trying to think of something different because
I always guess the normal things and it's never right.

Speaker 8 (14:15):
So I'm gonna say they fall.

Speaker 6 (14:16):
Out of love.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
Oh, they fall out of love. It just ends. I
guess that feeling is gone. You have a great guess.
That's not the right answer. I know, I know.

Speaker 8 (14:27):
Sorry, Okay, that's all right, that's okay.

Speaker 1 (14:30):
Good strategy. All right, Hi John, good morning, Hey, good morning, John.
Welcome to the llen KQ and A. What's your guess?

Speaker 8 (14:40):
I'm gonna go with the lack of communication lack of communication.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
Okay, stop talking to each other. I know a couple
who are married twenty five years and they stopped talking
to each other and they divorced and now they're both happy.
I mean, I guess it happens.

Speaker 8 (14:54):
It's a common cause.

Speaker 1 (14:56):
Well, it's a great guess. It's not the right answer.

Speaker 11 (14:58):
All right, thank you.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
Thanks John. Let's go to Palmdale. Hi, Edson, Edson, I
love your name. What are you going to do today?

Speaker 8 (15:08):
I'm actually working.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
Okay, well, thank you for having us on at work?

Speaker 8 (15:15):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (15:16):
What do you think it is? Twenty five percent of
love relationships end because of this, I.

Speaker 8 (15:21):
Will say, thanks.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
Oh uh huh. Yeah. Some people have second families, right, exactly.
Only a man can have a second family. A woman
could never have a second family. Why we're too important?

Speaker 3 (15:35):
Oh my god, come you with this again?

Speaker 1 (15:42):
Because kids need the mommy, well they need the daddy too.
Daddy can duck in and out. Mommy can't sure anyway, Edson.
They lie all the time, lies, lies, lies. It is
not the right answer.

Speaker 8 (15:56):
Oh my goodness, right, I'm really good.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
Yes, yes, great guests, try again, Thank you, and here

Speaker 1 (16:23):
Oh, money, finances, yep, always yeah. One quarter of love
relationships do end because of finances. You're going to Beach Life.

Speaker 3 (16:33):
You're right way to go.

Speaker 1 (18:33):
Hey, good morning, Top Stories Top of the hour. I'm
Ellen K and the Vatican says the Pope continues to
show improvement. The Pontiff Underwindy's scheduled CT scan yesterday to
monitor his double pneumonia, and although the prognosis remains guarded,
he is feeling better, even doing more work yesterday. As
you know, the Pope admit to the hospital in Rome

(18:55):
two weeks ago following about a bronchitis, but is also
being treated for pneumonia, getting better every day, and they
say that's a good sign that he's not going the
other way. President Trump just announced plans to sell a
Gold card, his version of a Green card. This one's
going to cost five million dollars. It will carry the
same privileges as the traditional Green card, including a path

(19:16):
to citizenship. It's expected to go on sale for hopeful
migrants in the next two weeks. And what about this.
It might not be the most obvious place for a holiday,
but Mars was once home to sun soaked, sandy beaches
with gentle lapping waves. Think laguna. This is according to
a new study. Researchers have discovered evidence of a vacation
style environment on the red planet, despite there being no

(19:37):
visible liquid on the surface of Mars today, a rover
moved some big rocks and found this old style beach
did exist at one time. And what about the Oscars?
Beginning at ten a m. This morning on ABC, the
pre show will start. It's called Countdown to the Oscars
on the Red Carpet ten am, ABC Oscars on Site,

(20:00):
starring Conan O'Brien. But they say this carpet this year
is indeed red, and they're going to be populating it
with all kinds of interviews and stars. And what about this?
The Philadelphia Eagles might have to find a new way
to get their quarterback jail and hurts to the first
down marker. The Green Bay Packers have reportedly sent a
proposal to the NFL's Competition Committee to ban the tush push.

(20:21):
They say it's not fair. The plays come under scrutiny
before it is discussed by the Competition committee last year
but not voted upon. Head coach Nick Siriani says, this
is a little insulting and unfair. So you want the
tush push to stay the brotherly shove? Okay, Well, we're
going to have this beautiful day today, a very warm

(20:41):
Wednesday in some areas, eighty five to ninety long bat

I wrong for thinking of taking him back? It's just
like this Michael Jackson song says, I'll watch it back.
I think she wants him back, Monique in Almonte, So

(22:29):
what do you do? He's sick, he doesn't feel well,
he needs someone to take care of him. But he
betrayed her big time and she still loves him. Do
you don't have any friends like that who they might
have been kicked with the curb, but then they go
back because they have this this fantasy or they wanted
this to be there forever.

Speaker 3 (22:48):
Yeah, and it's really sad.

Speaker 4 (22:50):
It's hard to watch because I mean, look, we can't
make up someone's mind for them, but you know what
you know, and this man showed his character. Yeah, you
have to separate. Look, it's sad, it sucks that this
guy's going through it, right, but you have to separate
what he did to you from what's happening to him.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
Yeah, and is there a way that you can be
a friend to him but not taken back into your
life as your forever love Monique ALMONTI needs help, Fred,
Thank you so much for calling. You have thoughts?

Speaker 8 (23:20):
Okay, yes, good morning Helen. It's a difficult situation anyway
you look at it right from both sides. Always, my
dad would say it's a difficult situation you confront a
situation of that nature. But with that being said, I
think I have to agree what he did the Monique
was not right. I mean, though they were just mary

(23:42):
for four years, I think she truly loved him and
still has feelings for him. But and then there's the butt.
So what he did was pretty much a disgrace, and
I don't think he deserves her back in my opinion
of the man, because I know that if I did
that to my wife, I couldn't I couldn't bear to
forgive myself. I mean, it's just a difficult situation. But again,

(24:05):
I don't want to sound judgmental, because I'm not no
one to judge nobody, only God. But nonetheless, what he did,
his actions to me shows to me that he did
not love her. Truly, and he wanted to stray his
merit and cheat or whatever. Fell in love well to
be he okay, he fell in love with another female,
but he did not keep his vow. So I don't

(24:27):
think he deserves her to pardon him back or accept
him back, that is, to help him, Yes, the best
of her ability, to the degree that she wants, but
as far as accepting him back again in her life,
I don't agree.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
No, No, it's a big n from Fred. Thank you, Fred.

Speaker 8 (24:46):
Yes, all right, great, great hearing you book. Okay, I
have a great day.

Speaker 1 (24:50):

of Commerce. You also have things to say to Monique.

I don't think he cares it.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
It's her, Oh, it could be any warm blooded body,
somebody who's willing to put up with him. Do you
think that she will take him back?

Speaker 2 (26:38):
Oh the way she said it, obviously she will. But
then how do you trust that he won't leave you again?

Speaker 1 (26:45):
Right? I mean he served her papers.

Speaker 8 (26:48):
That's ridiculous.

Speaker 1 (26:49):

thank you, Ellen?

nine percent of them. People are saying, no, Wenique, stop yourself,
but we're not going to stop with the cash, so
