Joyce and Hopper then break back into the department of energy only to be stopped by policemen while Nancy and Jonathan are stealing their weapons back...

Monica and Ross share the savage backstory of the Geller Cup. Ross becomes an honorary brown bird. Phoebe hates Christmas trees; and Rachel quits her waitressing job.

Joey is building an entertainment unit, Phoebe’s brother Frank spends the weekend, and the gang makes “Freebie Lists” leaving Ross with an opportunity to hook-up with a celebrity. During a flashback to three years earlier, Phoebe’s moving out of Monica’s without her knowing it, Joey moves in with Chandler, Monica recognizes Rachel at Central Perk before it was Central Perk, and Ross finds out Carol is a lesbian.

Hop takes an elevator to another dimension only to wake up to find a bug in his house. The boys name the place where Will is hiding “The Upside down” and compare it to the Veil of Shadows from DnD. Dustin uses their compasses to try to find Will until Eleven forces them in the wrong direction to keep them safe. Lonny upholds his scumbag status. Joyce learns Willl’s body is fake. Monica is depressed about breaking up with Richard. Rachel wears the Princess Leia bikini…as does Mrs. Geller. Everyone drives Ross crazy, taking forever to get ready for his charity. Phoebe empathizes with a stalker, Joey gets nostalgic about jam, and Chandler gifts one of his drawers to Janice.

Hopper informs Joyce that they recovered Will's body from the quarry. Eleven helps Mike with bullies after the school assembly. Nancy and Jonathan realize they are both talking about the same faceless creature. Joyce sees Will in the wall while Eleven uses her powers to channel him. Hop finds out Will’s body isn’t a human body at all.
