Speaker 1 (00:02):
Wake um. It gets my day going and makes me
laugh of it. Mac and Schmitty in the morning on
Star one O five point SEVENO mornas Smitty, good morning,
welcome back to it. You know you got a couple
of extra days there. But I gotta just apologize on
behalf of mother nature. She has really not provided any
(00:24):
brief momentary relief from the fomo that we're all experiencing
watching everyone off on spring.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
I mean to be fair, One of my co workers
is in Florida and it rained yesterday, but it's gonna
be eighty five today, So you know, you got to
take your little pieces of misery where you can get them.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
Yes, you lost your luggage. Oh, I'm so sad for
you on that.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
There's more misery on.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
It's why I hear the S word maybe making an
appearance again.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
You're not wrong. Mid twenties out there right now. Heis
today into the mid upper forties. However, like Smitty just said,
later on in the late afternoon into the evening hours,
we might see a rain and then a rain snow
mix move in. Because we have yet to see a
day this week that didn't at least at one point
in time. I have some snowflakes falling down.
Speaker 4 (01:08):
Movies, music and all the gossip in one place.
Speaker 1 (01:11):
It's the celebritiescoop on Star one oh five point seven.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
Well Britney spears clapping back at critics on her looks,
calling out her besties who don't seem to be such
besties anymore. The singer are dropping a piece of her
mind on Instagram yesterday. True to form, she went after
all sorts of different things, writing Spring is here, Yes, yes, yes,
I'm so dang excited. And for the incredibly sad comments
(01:38):
that say that I look bad, I feel so sorry
for you guys. I thought my hair was beautiful and
I do have a cold and it has affected my
voice because in another video she slipped back to that
kind of weird British sounding voice.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
I've been held back from going.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
To Mexico for four months, and since flying and traveling
is the main thing for my health and well being,
you have a small virus. Just like the comments and
people who said they were my best friends, it's people
like them who are so jealous they'll do anything to
keep me from living my life in my highest manner.
Also worth pointing out, a source says that Brittany has
(02:16):
dumped her ex paulse Elice.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
For the second time in a couple months.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
If you were to wear the couple first split in
July of last year, then briefly reconciled in February, but
apparently called it quits yet again just around Valentine's Day
and we're.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
Just now learning about it. So there's your Brittany up date.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
Whatever I get a cold, I often slip into British
accents too. I mean that's very common. Show.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
We would know we don't get to go to Mexico
every other month. This is very, very sad story to report.
The New York Mets paying tribute yesterday to former MLB
star Octavio Dotel, hours after a nightclub roof collapsed in
the Dominican Republic, killing the World Series champion. He had
played on multiple clubs with the MLB, most recently ending
(02:59):
his career with our Detroit Tigers. This is sad stuff.
Team manager Carlos Mendoza actually talking about this right before yesterday's.
Speaker 5 (03:08):
Game, thinking about our people in the Dominican Republic. If
you guys are aware of that incident that happened with
the roof collapse and affect that a lot of people there.
We have a lot of Dominican community in the baseball world,
so our prayers to their families.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
Yeah, this is really sad. As of this morning, there
are at least ninety eight people confirmed dead after a
roof at jet Set in Santo Domingo collapsed in the
early hours of yesterday morning. Rescue Efforts are still underway
to reach people trapped underneath the rubble.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
I mean, I swear those club accidents, whether it be
fires or things like that happening, they always seem to
have just such huge loss of life with those people
in tight spaces.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
And finally, musician Post Malone getting his mind blown in France.
I just thought this was such a cute video. Came
across a magician doing some work on the sidewalk and said,
you know what, I'll pick a card, any card.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
And he was stunned.
Speaker 6 (04:10):
That's crazy, dude, that.
Speaker 7 (04:16):
Kind of thing.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
That's cool man, Thank you, Thank you dude.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
Should I get the chocolate too, Yes.
Speaker 3 (04:23):
Yeah, chocolate bar. Two happiest dude out there.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
Video is pretty great and I got it up for
you with your scoop at West Michigan Star dot.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Com sometimes does that get a good feel. Let's do this,
Manky and your Wednesday morning just a little bit easier
to deal with feeling good. On Stallino fine point seven,
it's Mack and Schmidty hanging out and this is cool.
I know your husband, big outdoorsman Schmidty. Does he happen
to watch the Outdoor Channel?
Speaker 3 (04:49):
I don't think I've never even heard of it.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
The Outdoor Channel? Oh yeah, definitely a big on there.
And one of those biggest shows on the network, Committy
is the show called Wardens that is actually based out
of Michigan and features a ton of West Michigan conservation
officers or excuse me, statewide Michigan conservation officers, because I
wanted to shout out the two Alegant DNR officers that
are going to be making their stop prominently featured on
(05:13):
this Friday Night's episode of Wardens. This is cool. Sam
schluck Beer and Carter Woodwick are going to be all
over there in an episode called Southwest Michigan water Fowlers
and Boaters. It's an episode that shows the two of
them patrolling the Kalamazoo River during Saga tux Venetian Festival.
Woodwick's also checking on the water or waterfowl hunters in
(05:34):
the winter. And this is just kind of neat because
it gives people a chance to see what the DNR
does besides feeling like they're constantly just tackling none. The
DNR gets kind of a bad rap, and he says,
shuck Schluckbier says, ever since the show Wardens has been filmed,
it's a lot easier for people to understand what we
are and what we do and is he told Fox seventeen,
(05:56):
definitely gives him and his fellow DNR officers a sense
of pride.
Speaker 6 (05:59):
Makes you appreciate eight day in and day out, what
you do and your little part that you take in
doing the job. I really enjoy it, and I also
enjoy that Wardens does a pretty thorough and accurate job
at depicting that.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
So just got a cool Wardens new episode on the
Outdoor Network at nine PM this Friday night. Get to
be featuring those officers from Alligan County.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
All right. It was a very emotional moment at San
Quentin Prison in California when inmates Jared Hansen and Chase
then Wah finally got to reunite with the pups they
had trained. It had been more than two years since
they took part in the Canine Companions program. This actually
(06:43):
pairs inmates with puppies between the ages of two and
four months, and for Chase and Jared this was a
huge moment. They spent a year with these pups, teaching
them about twenty different skills so that they could eventually
become pups trained in service for people with disabel The
courtyard was turned into that reunification moment when Wendell and Artemis,
(07:06):
who by the way, immediately recognized them, came running over.
Speaker 7 (07:10):
He just got back.
Speaker 6 (07:11):
He's seeing him in action and actually serving somebody in
the community.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
It's just I don't even I'm a lost for words
right now.
Speaker 6 (07:18):
It's given me something that I think I'll search him
a whole life.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
And that was really like purpose, meaningful purpose, doing.
Speaker 6 (07:24):
Something that's good, bigger than myself, and feeling like I'm part.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
Of something great.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
These kinds of programs are life changing in jail and
prison communities, and this video proves it. I've got it
post it at West Michigan Star dot com.
Speaker 1 (07:37):
You know, the first dog my wife and I got together,
My dog, Lily, was actually trained and housebroken in a prison.
It was puffs on parole that actual training. Every state
has a program now really neat? I like that, all right?
Feeling good coming at you a couple times to day.
I always want to say about great things happening out there.
We'll do it again coming up at nine to twenty.
Speaker 4 (07:55):
Movies, music and all the gossip in one place.
Speaker 1 (07:59):
It's the Salt celebritiescoop on Star one oh five point seven.
Speaker 3 (08:03):
Man, we're not shocked.
Speaker 2 (08:04):
I'm not even sure I need to report this as news,
but Taylor Swift has once again broken yet another record
for selling the most vinyl records literal records in the
past decade, beating out huge names including Adele, David Bowie,
and Abba. The singer has obviously dominated charts with her
(08:24):
three best selling albums out Midnights nineteen eighty nine and
The Tortured Poets Department at the top of that list,
but new figures show all three of those albums in
the space of three years topped the official vinyl chart.
In fact, her album Midnights had a staggering one hundred
and twenty nine thousand sales in vinyl alone.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
This is a big deal.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
We've seen a ton of artists including Harry Styles, Aed
Shearon and Billie Eilish, all jump on the trend of vinyl,
but no one comes close to Taylor.
Speaker 1 (08:56):
No nobody sucks your money away from you.
Speaker 2 (08:58):
Quitely, Taylor was, I've got a big announcement for those
of you that know exactly who I'm talking about when
I talk. Miss Rachel, the YouTube star, has welcomed her
second child with Broadway husband Aaron Occurso, the kid's Sensation,
took to Insta yesterday to make the big announcement and
talked about some of those medical reasons she may have
(09:21):
been absent from YouTube for the past couple months. I
know parents were super concerned, she says. We welcomed sweet
baby Susanna into the world. Sometimes timing isn't what you plan,
and the road to get there is bumpier than you expect.
Speaker 3 (09:35):
But when you hold your little.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
Ones, you know I am meant to be your mama.
I was unable to carry this pregnancy for medical reasons,
and we're blessed to have a surrogate who gave us
the most precious gift possible. We are now all family forever,
and we have immense gratitude and a deep bond. It
has been truly a beautiful.
Speaker 3 (09:52):
Experience and we are positively in awe of her.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
However, even in the comments section appearents we're asking their
no official confirmation when we will see some new Miss
Rachel content popping up.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
Do you think that she will turn this little one
into part of her YouTube empire?
Speaker 2 (10:10):
Schmidty, No, you did not see her kids at all.
She is very, very very careful about that. Finally, if
you watched our Detroit Tigers in a stunning five nothing
win over the New York Yankees yesterday, you may have
noticed someone missing from the Yankees lineup. That would be
Cody Bellinger, who apparently had some bad Detroit wings. According
(10:33):
to manager Aaron Boone, he was left off the roster
yesterday after a serious case of food poisoning kept him
up all Monday night, throwing up to the point where
he did not think he would be able to play yesterday.
While he did not call out the place, he did
blame Detroit style wings is something he obviously can no
(10:53):
longer handle. Yeah, not the greatest sense. He didn't play
last week because of a back situation, So guys had
a pretty rough start to the MLB Season, all of
your celebt scoop at West.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
Michigan start op.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
Let's Fine point seven, Good morning to you, Welcome back
to But it's Mac and Smerdy back after a couple
of days young and celebrating birthday. I'd ask you which one,
But I enjoy breathing, so I think I'll pass.
Speaker 3 (11:18):
It's not forty.
Speaker 2 (11:19):
I'm still I am still in my thirties, and so
that's why it wasn't like it's not really my birthday.
We were going for. We just needed to get out
of West Michigan. Like, we're not doing any spring break.
We're staycationing, which is fine. There's a ton going on here.
But we thought we'd go to Detroit because my husband
has been wanting to do like Walleye and some other
(11:39):
really big things in the Detroit River for years. We
have a bunch of friends over there, we have a
bunch of family over there. So it kind of just
turned into this really big, Hey, We're going to come
for a couple of days and see like everyone on
the East Side that we adore awesome, and so we
had this great idea to check out Lego Land there.
They have a Lego Land Discovery Center at the Great
Lakes Crossing Mall and my kids are huge Lego fans,
(12:02):
and my nephew, who is just over one, I thought
would finally be able to handle this.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
So we went.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
It was a lot of fun. Honestly, if you're looking
to take a little trip. It's connected to the Sea
Life Aquarium. I know, our great friend Miranda talks about
that all the time. So you can actually get a
combo ticket. They've got a bunch of different like experiences
and it was it was a great time. I thought
it was super affordable. Kids had a blast, but they
knew that it was It was my birthday. I had
(12:29):
celebrated back on Saturday. And they get so obsessed about birthdays,
as kids do. And well, my seven year old goes, hey, so,
I mean, how old are you mom? And I said, well,
I'm this I'm this old. He goes, wow, how old
is Sophia at turning? Because her birthday is this Friday.
I said, well, Sophia's turning four. He goes, yeah, that
sounds better to me, and I said, it sounds it
(12:52):
sounds better to me too, man. But listen, there's also
good things about being grown up. So we're having this
conversation because they have a couple of big rides at
Lego Land, and this was the first time Will rode
a ride by himself. Was tall enough, he was old enough,
so I thought, you know, this is like a good
part about getting older, dude. And it was a Merlin
based ride. It was like, you're on this magic carpet
(13:13):
type deal and you're riding with the legos and you're
doing this whole thing. If we do not get off
that ride, because I had to sit with Sophia, and
let me tell you, trying to shove your child rearing
hips and do a child's ride is a real humbling experience, ladies.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
Oh we get off the ride. We're walking away. Will goes, mom.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
They say, you can choose your legos here. Because he
had all these stations, you could build something that looked
like you. You could build things like your friends. It
was really cool, and he goes, I think, let think
you'd be a good Marlin. He literally picked the aged
old professor dumbled door looking Legos with the long white
hair and the long white beard.
Speaker 3 (13:50):
So yeah, exiting my mid.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
Thirties stage was made just so much better by the
brutal honesty of my children. And no, I did not
buy the Merlin Lego as little birthday souvenir.
Speaker 3 (14:03):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (14:04):
Yeah, when your kids are asking things like, oh, you know,
before electricity, what did you guys even do?
Speaker 2 (14:10):
Like I just can't stand that you were born in
the nineteen hundreds, So there you go.
Speaker 3 (14:15):
Happy birthday to me, was just very honest.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
You'd make for a very youthful looking Merlin, if I
do say so myself, without a doubt.
Speaker 3 (14:25):
There's always something.
Speaker 2 (14:26):
There's always something they're gonna say that's gonna make you
rethink your life.
Speaker 3 (14:29):
And we still love them to death. Don't wait, confession.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
So I just talked about going to Detroit over the weekend,
and my sister in law and I took the kids
to Lego Land. Yeah, and she's got a just over
one year old, I think like fourteen months, and so
we're all in her jeep wrinkler, all three kids are
in the backseat, han a great time, and somebody cuts
her off in traffic. And we know, especially as parents,
(14:55):
that sometimes our language out on the road is not
maybe the most suitable for kids. And she's also not
used to having kids that can repeat things yet like
he's only one. So somebody cut her off like real bad.
It was a pretty nasty thing, and so she dropped
an unfortunate word, and immediately.
Speaker 3 (15:17):
My daughter repeats that word. And then it is.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
Her one year old, who can barely talk, that drops
the first couple syllables in the perfect like inflection tone,
and we both just sit their mouths dropped, and she goes,
I'm so sorry. I totally didn't mean to do that.
I said, that's okay. My kids had the entire alphabet
(15:44):
for that. However, your one year old, they have just spoken,
is like fourth word besides mom and dad, and it's that.
Speaker 3 (15:51):
And it wasn't me that did it. Girlfriend, We're good.
Speaker 1 (15:55):
Confession multiple syllables at only fourteen months.
Speaker 4 (15:59):
He's very events, movies, music, and all the gossip in
one place.
Speaker 1 (16:07):
It's the celebrities goop on Star one oh five point seven.
Speaker 3 (16:11):
Man, I'm gonna have.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
To get my hands on this book because it sounds
pretty phenomenal. Mark Hoppus, the singer and bassist for Blink
one point eighty two, confirming he was so depressed after
the band broke up he had thoughts of suicide. This
is in his new memoir Fahrenheit one eighty two, which
is just about to drop. People Magazine got their hands
(16:33):
on an early look and said, once the band broke up,
Mark lost everything, his direction, his confidence, complete sense of self.
He said, I didn't know what I was supposed to
do or who I was supposed to be. I'd hear
one of our songs playing in a store and literally
have to walk out.
Speaker 3 (16:49):
He says.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
A deep depression followed, leading him to contemplate ending his life.
He said, I just sank lower and lower, and I
could tell it was near the bottom when I started
to kind of and comfort in.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
Just ending it.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
He says, Fortunately I did not act on those feelings.
I found a great psychiatrist. I was prescribed some medication
which has really helped a lot. It's given me the
chance to finally get some space in my own head
to say, knock it off. You've got a lot of
things going for you. You'll get this figured out. And
just another moment to kind of bring awareness that if
(17:22):
you are struggling or in crisis, you can always call
her Text nine to eight eight and he's like, this
is a book that has really triumped human spirit, and
there's going to be a lot of things people learn
about me that they will be pretty stunned to know
as part of my last few years.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
You're right, j Minnie, I do want to get hands
on this book as well. I mean, Blank Wendy Too
kind of one of those formative bands of a lot
of our youths, And it was just such a big
deal when they broke up because it was, I mean
a touch, such a tight knit crew.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
I felt, well, remember when you'd see him at lake
There was a video that surfaced, I think a couple
of years ago if him at an MLB game and
one of their songs started playing and you could even
see him there very uncomfortable. So for him to say
things like I couldn't even stay in a grocery sere
when I hear my music, it's really really powerful stuff.
Jennifer Lopez seems to be doing just fine in post
(18:08):
divorce life. She posted a very interesting Instagram yesterday wearing
quite a head turning black bodysuit and called it a
gratitude check in. She shared a lisp saying, one grateful
for my body working hard but still better than ever.
Number two the people who kept and keep my heart full,
(18:29):
and three the little moments that become the best memories.
She then asked fans, what are you grateful for today?
Which is really interesting to kind of dive into these
comments because there are truly, truly some just j low
fans for life, people writing I am grateful that you're
alive and doing so well and none of these experiences
have brought you down. Another writing I'm grateful after everything
(18:51):
the haters put you through last year, you never came
up get never gave up, and came back stronger. Like
it's really fascinating.
Speaker 1 (19:00):
I mean, okay, I don't mean to be a hater,
but I just feel like when people overdo the I'm
so happy after going through some really tough stuff, Like
it just comes off as ollo and fake. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
Oh, like when couples share pictures of themselves over and
over and over again and then you find out they're
getting divorced that.
Speaker 1 (19:14):
Do or documentaries in her case.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
All right, Finally, Warner Brothers Minecraft movie is causing such
a sensation among those young moviegoers that there has been
a warning about patrons getting too disruptive, saying they will
be removed from the venue.
Speaker 3 (19:34):
Without a refund.
Speaker 2 (19:35):
So apparently there's some kind of meme and another like
social media trend where people go absolutely nuts during one
specific scene in the movie, which I won't give away
so I don't spoil anything, and then all of a
sudden they're standing yelling, throwing drinks, throwing potform, busting over seats.
Speaker 3 (19:58):
It's gotten so bad.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
Security has been called in for some of these showings.
At one specific theater over in the UK, the notice
read any form of antisocial behavior anything that may disturb
other guests, including screaming.
Speaker 3 (20:13):
Clapping and shouting.
Speaker 2 (20:15):
You will be removed from the screening and not entitled
to a refund.
Speaker 3 (20:20):
This is pretty wild.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
I just saw the movie with my kids yesterday and
there was some audible shouting during the scene that we
were talking about here for sure, but it was it
was brief and it wasn't out of place or whatever.
Speaker 3 (20:31):
Going today, so I guess I'll see for y'all.
Speaker 1 (20:33):
It's fun, for sure, a fun time.
Speaker 3 (20:35):
For all of your celeb Scoop West Michigan Star dot com.
Speaker 1 (20:37):
It is time to battle Battle of this sexues. You know,
everybody off on spring Breakschmidty, Let's go back to high
school English class though, for today's chance to get to
a Grand Rapids Rise game.
Speaker 2 (20:47):
Yeah, so this is next Saturday's game, the nineteenth. It's noon,
so it's perfect.
Speaker 3 (20:52):
With the kids.
Speaker 2 (20:53):
We've got your tickets with today's number one answer. One
hundred women surveyed name a character in a Shakespeare play.
Speaker 1 (20:59):
The first when they came to mind was a fellow,
because that's what my son told his baseball coach his
name was originally, and proceeded to get called that all
season long. Yeah, I have no idea where even.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
Hana before I can still I can still recite for
Shakespeare plays. That's what we had to learn an English class. Yeah, oh,
and you want some Canterbury tales, y'all. For some reason
could not tell you what I ate for dinner four
nights ago, but I can do Shakespeare and Chaucer six
one six four five eight one o five seven four
five eight one oh five seven caller seven. One hundred
(21:29):
women surveyed name a character in a Shakespeare play? And
you were hanging with me next Saturday.
Speaker 3 (21:35):
At the Grand Rapids Ride.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
Good morning star. Who's this? Hey it Brett, Hey Brett.
So let's say if we can get you these tickets
for our Grand Rapids Rise gotta tell me, Brett. When
one hundred women were asked to name one a character
from one of Shakespeare's plays, why did they go with this?
Their top answer Romeo and Juliet Ooh, you're going with
Romeo and Juliet. You can only pick one.
Speaker 2 (21:58):
Brett, I'm gonna go too.
Speaker 1 (22:00):
You're going with Romeo, Romeo, Romeo? Oh, where art thou?
Romeo is the top answer? Congratulations? Thank you? Yeah, you're
going to our Grand Rapids Rise game coming up on Saturday,
April nineteenth at noon afternoon game and Schmiddy tells us

are gonna be loving that?
Speaker 6 (22:21):

Speaker 5 (22:21):
Yeah, i'anna.
Speaker 1 (22:22):
She's a big Bluey fan. There we go. I love it.

Rapids Rise as they take on the Indian Night next Saturday,
the nineteenth. We'll have tickets for your family Tomorrow morning,
eight fifteen. Battle of the Sexes here on stock Good
morning to you. It's back in SCHMIDI. I want to
take a little walk down memory lane, Schmidty. At least
(22:45):
if you can remember your twenty first birthday. I'll bring
this out because my buddy Dave, he is one of
my first friends who's got a kid who's actually turning
twenty one.
Speaker 3 (22:55):
All right, I know, I don't know that'll make it
feel old now.
Speaker 1 (22:59):
Granted it made me feel old when he was, you know,
the only nineteen year old dad out of my friend
group too. But at the same time, so his son
is turning twenty one, and his son is this very
smart kid. He's in college right now over in Minnesota,
and he's always been, you know, kind of a kind
of an inclusive guy. I mean, just very quiet and introvert,
(23:19):
without a doubt, and so you know, going out and
drinking not part of his forte you know. So going
for his twenty first birthday, I had said, oh, how
to go? You know, you went out with your dad?
What was the first drink? Ahead? Your husband would appreciate this.
He ordered a white Russian schmidty. What twenty one year
old white Russian like they're the big Lebowski in their forty.
Speaker 3 (23:43):
Years, might have done that on his twenty first Actually, I.
Speaker 1 (23:47):
Just I never in a million years, but I think
to myself, a twenty one year old kid's going to
go to the bar for the very first time and say,
you know what I want? You got any like half

my twenty first birthday if anybody was at Peppinos in
Allendale's and it was line dancing night and I kept
doing the Thriller dance and I got kicked out because
I was knocking people over in cowboy boots.

That was Schmitty's twenty first.
Speaker 1 (24:19):
Were you just doing? Were you doing like the Army?
Speaker 2 (24:22):

the DJ was like, well, the blonde in the middle
of the dance floor stop, it's line dancing night, not
Michael Jackson Knight.
Speaker 1 (24:31):
Oh too good. I actually, at some point in time
when we are, you know, having a couple, Smitty, I
got to see the Thriller dance.
Speaker 2 (24:38):
I felt really good about it. Facebook videos would say differently.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
I asked this question online too, Mary said, too long
ago to remember. But then we had a few of
the ones that I thought were interesting. We had my
ties spilling it. Tequila was in there, a bit.

by one of my friends for me. It was a
three wise men. Do you know what a three wise
man is? Schmitty For those that don't, it is Johnny Walker,
Jack Daniels and Jim Beam all together for a disgusting
and incredibly strong shot.
Speaker 3 (25:31):
I'll raise you a bear fights go and google that.

he's got a big old lion's shirt on, so he
may actually be leaving this terrible Michigan weather and heading
to gorgeous Augusta for the rest of the week.
Speaker 1 (27:28):
Smart and lucky man. If so, I like that, all right, schmiddy.
This dramatic bodycam footage has been released and is all
over the news today here in Michigan as two Michigan
deputies saving residents that were trapped inside of an apartment
complex during a fire. Monday nights around nine to fifty pm.
The call came in of a fire at the Glendale
(27:49):
Apartments in the city of Scottsville in Mason County. Well.
Two Mason County sheriff deputies were actually first to arrive,
just one minute after that call came in. But it
was crazy. The fire had already spread on the first
floor of the building. The smoke had risen, so residents
couldn't see where they were going and basically trapped there
because the smoke was so heavy, they couldn't get to
(28:10):
their front doors. That's when Sergeant Adam Klubau with the
Sheriff's office thought really quickly and decided he was gonna
move his vehicle up so that they could stand on
it to get people off of their balconies. Listen to
this dramatic body camp, but it's just wild.
Speaker 7 (28:26):
Hey, Moss, I got a kid. We gotta get that
kid off that second story right there. Alright, give me
a kid, right hand, shut, I got you, hang on
(28:50):
my hand, hand in my hand. There you go, all right,
onto the next what we got kids in the back?
Speaker 1 (28:57):
On to the next. They continued pulling pa bul off
of those balconies until everyone made it out of the fire.
They're thankfully no fatalities from the fire. A few injuries
with their extent unknown at this time, but everybody making
it out okay because of those quick actions by those
two deputies. Yeah, unbelievable. I'll put the video up for you,
