Speaker 1 (00:00):
What's up, tod How can we help you?

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Hey, guys, good morning.

Speaker 3 (00:02):
Just wanted to call in and tell you, first of all,
love you guys. I used to live in Scottsdale years
ago and now I live in Portland. But you guys
were talking about macros this morning, and I've been tracking
my macros rich for about two and a half years,
and I can empathize with you. It's so difficult because.

Speaker 4 (00:21):
When I go to line oh, it's no, no, no, I
mean I use an app, and so the app helps
me because you know, it can put in some you know,
some of your regular foods that you eat.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
And it basically, you know, will populate the app instantly.
But to your point, the difficulty for me has been
like being around other people that aren't tracking their food
and they don't have a difficult time. So it does
get easier. And I will tell you that I lost
like thirty pounds and I haven't changed anything other than

(00:52):
what I eat and basically increasing my protein. So I
just wanted to share that with you. I know that's
a tough journey, but I'm sure that it will help
you get to whatever it is that you're trying to accomplish.

Speaker 5 (01:04):
I was all excited yesterday because my macros were like perfect.
But I realized because I saw Eric the trainer yesterday
and he told me what to eat the rest of
the day and put it in my phone, so like
he looked at what I had already consumed over here
and then he's like, Okay, here's what you do for
the night. Put it all in, and that's what I
ate and it was perfect. But I'm not going to
go see him every day to do that. So, yeah,

(01:25):
I'm trying really hard. It's hard to get all that
protein in.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Yeah, yeah, it's very difficult. I mean, I think the
challenge for me was initially figuring out how to get
the protein in. I'm getting like two hundred grams a day,
and the key that worked for me is like getting
that protein in first thing in the morning. So if
you get forty to sixty grams immediately, you're basically on
your way, right. And I don't know what your protein
goals are, but like if you eat yogurt and you

(01:51):
eat something that's very dense in protein but not in calories,
like egg whites, you you basically gain the day because
the rest of the day, the day can slip away
from you or whatever. So anyway, yeah, I wish.

Speaker 5 (02:06):
You congratulations Tom, Yeah, thank you.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Hey Todd, thanks for listening. Man, thank you very much
for listening.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
Yeah, I love you guys, Take care, appreciate you from
now on.

Speaker 6 (02:16):
Whatever you're calling you be Macro tod, Macro macro data,
macro data. All right, thanks man, Hans, I understand you
texted us. Yes, what was your text about my friend?

Speaker 1 (02:28):
I did so.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
I was curious about what you guys have been hearing
about the podcast with Peyton not putting the show on
her social media.

Speaker 6 (02:43):
Okay, well, what's your what's your This is the it
was last week's afterwards podcast.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
I think we dropped it on on Tuesday or Wednesday. Yeah, well,
what's your take? Do you want to know? Like the
general consensus is, yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Well I hadn't heard anything, and I I actually want
to clarify something. I was wondering if you, John Jay,
had brought this up to Peyton before that podcast.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (03:09):
I think in the podcast I talk about that, I
brought it up like two weeks before.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Oh okay, so she knew that you wanted her to
put more stuff on her social media before that pod.

Speaker 7 (03:19):
No, Hans John Jay told me we talked to he
had mentioned my rebrand and he had said a couple
things like, oh, you're not on the show, or like
you were like you don't have any pictures of the show,
and I threw some up on there. But he swears
I took him down. I didn't brought it up.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
It was aggressively.

Speaker 7 (03:34):
Yeah, he brought it passive. Aggressively on the podcast was
the first time that he actually addressed it heads on.
And for me, I don't know about you, John Jay.
I feel like I got a mixed response. I got
a handful of responses where they felt I was completely
in the wrong and I was a brat and I
didn't go about it right. And then on the other
side of it, I got keep doing you. You're great,
we love you, we support you. I'm so sorry that

(03:55):
people are like that. That's kind of I got a mix.

Speaker 6 (03:57):
My consensus was it was more not not to like
you pick sides, but I was more like ninety percent
were on my point of view, ten percent were your
point of view.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
That was the way I looked at it. From all
the text messages.

Speaker 7 (04:07):
Oh, I got different. I had different responses.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
I would make were on myself, I would reach out
to you Payton and support, and John J. More people
would reach out to you in support. Do you have
a different text line than I have over here, John J?

Speaker 7 (04:20):
No, but there was also some text There was also
some text lines that were totally in support of me,
which was so awesome. John Jay.

Speaker 5 (04:27):
Okay, well, let's say it was time let Hans break
the tie.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
What was your thought, Hans.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Well, so, you know, I so, I I thought it
was kind of I love your show, right, and it
kind of put a bad taste in my mouth for
John Jay because he was bringing this up and if
he hadn't brought that up before then, I thought it
was kind of a weird time to be telling her

(04:54):
that he should have done that in private. And I
assumed that you that John I had something to do
with Peyton being on the show in the first place.
And so you know, you mentioned how you had been
in radio. You have been in radio for a long
time and you know what's going on. So I felt
like maybe you should be more of a mentor to

(05:16):
Peyton in that regard, as opposed to like just blasting
her during the podcast.

Speaker 6 (05:25):
Okay, So in my opinion, like she should even admit
that it was brought up two weeks before the podcast,
and in that podcast when I did bring it up,
you cut me off and said, I hear you, I
hear you.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
I get you. There's a phrase you kept saying.

Speaker 6 (05:40):
You even said it in the podcast, I hear you,
John Jay loud and clear, I hear you. So I
thought I was it. So then in two weeks where
it didn't happen. When that when Nikki called up to
ask that question, That's why I brought it up again
because she had said I hear you. I hear you
two weeks ago. Do you know what I'm saying?

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Yeah, So anyway, I love you guys, and I just
hadn't heard anything about what you what what What people
were saying about that podcast.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Well, it was because it was a behind it.

Speaker 6 (06:08):
We tease the podcast where tell people to go because
it's like we have two different shows. You know, you've
got the Normal Show, then you've got the Afterwards podcast.
So on the Normal Show, we will promote the afterwards
podcast so that people go participate in the afterwards podcast.
We don't really get into the content of the afterwards
podcast on the radio. On the Normal Show, right, know
what I'm saying, so right right, that's why it up
both ways.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
Yeah, yeah, I get it.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
Right here with you. This will probably be the afterwards podcast.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
Oh great, all right, congratulations.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
You have to follow up though.

Speaker 6 (06:38):
I mean, I think that you're probably not alone that
other people wanted to hear the you know, the juries hapas.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
Yeah, And and you know, I've been treated like that
before in my jobs and it just kind of, I
don't know, just kind of put a bad taste in
my mouth. So I wanted to clarify first of all.
And you know, anyway, I think both of you do
a great job. So I just wanted to ask, all.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Right, Hans, you have a wonderful day. Thank you for listening.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
All right, you too, thank you.

Speaker 7 (07:08):
