Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wake yo Pa.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Well, well, well he is back in the building from Jamaica.
I said, I wasn't sure you said you were going
to be back Wednesday.
Speaker 3 (00:13):
Here you are tell us everything. All I need to
know is how was.
Speaker 4 (00:17):
The KFCCE amazing? A lot of people are clowning me
that I went straight to Jamaica to have KFC.
Speaker 5 (00:22):
But if you.
Speaker 4 (00:23):
Know, if you know, you know those we don't know.
It's the thing, and I try to get something back.
But last stayed at uh on, my last hotel for
the last year.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
It's so funny because obviously we talked about it a
million times while you were gone. And I got a
video from a girl. She was like, Ashley, I had
to send you this video. I'm at this bar. She
goes it just so happens at the bartender is Jamaican,
and she goes, I'm going to put him on the spot.
So she turns the camera and she goes. On the
(00:51):
radio today they were talking about DJ Forren going to
Jamaica just to go to KFC, and he goes, if
you know you no, and he just went on his
whole long terear about how you must go to the game,
and you know who is so mad about it was that, Yeah,
you can't handle it.
Speaker 5 (01:09):
I'm not going to I'm going to go to KFC.
You can't convince me that it's worth a flight, all right.
Speaker 4 (01:16):
So the day that you do landing, just ask your driver,
can we just stop at a KFC number one. You're
gonna know it hits in Jamaica because you're gonna wait
at least twenty almost bit is insane.
Speaker 5 (01:26):
And that's in everyone now. I landed in Kingston.
Speaker 4 (01:29):
Kingston probably got like two three maybe even for every
one of them packed. I ended up going to Montego Bay.
They only have one even more packed. It is a
national treasure. I'm not lying to y'all.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
For the Colonel.
Speaker 5 (01:41):
The Kernel's chicken.
Speaker 4 (01:43):
Yo, listen, the chicken tastes different. It's so much like
the way they cook. It is so much better. Like
it's amazing, Bro, you would stand in line. I'm telling you,
no bs, And it's not because they're slow, it's because
they're busy.
Speaker 5 (01:54):
Twenty thirty minutes.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
You you have to understand why it's hard for us
to believe. By the way, I'm not like him.
Speaker 3 (02:02):
If I ever go to.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
Jamaica, I'm going to that CAFC like it's done. You
don't have to tell me, but twice.
Speaker 4 (02:06):
I'm GOINGFC in the States anyway, KFC in the States
is not the same like they used to be out
there though, Bro, I really don't know what they just.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
So we're clear. Back when we were young, when we
were when we were.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
A little used to like the popcorn popcorn chicken.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
And those mashed potatoes used to slap.
Speaker 4 (02:22):
Yeah, I don't know what happened, but they're not the same.
But the KFC chicken is by far the best KFC
chicken you'll ever eat anywhere in the world.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
So in your four days or whatever it was there,
did you only get to go that once?
Speaker 6 (02:34):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (02:34):
I went twice actually, And what's cool about it is
that I could walk from the resort right to the spot,
So that's what I was doing. I was like, there
ain't no food here, bomb KFC, let's go. When we
all just edit it, I know the spot, y'all gotta
check out his juicy patties or juicy beef patties, which
is the number one patty spot in Jamaica right now?
Is it like a burger place? No patties, you know,
beef patties Jamaican beef. Yeah, that's all they sound.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
No, I don't then, I don't know what they are,
but I have heard of them.
Speaker 5 (02:58):
It's like, okay, okay, you know wow.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
I tried to act like, you know, it's okay for
us to be.
Speaker 5 (03:08):
Like we don't. I've seen the video of them. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (03:11):
Now you can get them anyway, you can get them anywhere.
But juicy patties amazing. Another spot. They put everything in there.
Usually you get something with beef of chicken. They putting
like seafood in there. They putting shrimp in there. But
KFC and Juicy Beef Patties number one spot to go,
aside from street food and that's like soups and jerk
chicken and stuff like that.
Speaker 5 (03:29):
Jamaico is nice, man. Jamaico's a vibes.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
He's like, oh, yes, I know, jerk chicken.
Speaker 5 (03:33):
Yes, Jamaicos a vibe. Eighty degrees.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
You couldn't be sad to be back. Although it's actually
not bad out here.
Speaker 4 (03:39):
Not mad at the weather. When I landed it was
fifty degrees. I was like, okay, global warming as well,
But yeah, I had a good time in Jamaica.
Speaker 5 (03:47):
I'm not gonna lie. It was a good It was
a good uh business and a little bit.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
On R and R.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
Yeah, because it was a music conference kind of Yes.
Speaker 4 (03:54):
Shout out to my brother Shaggy, I know him from
it wasn't me hit song big of course in Jamaica.
He is the king in Jamaica and every year he
tries to give back to the island by bringing people
from all over the world to do something called the
Island Music Conference. So if your artist wants to know
about how to get your song on the radio, you
want to know how to get to publishing, you want
(04:14):
to like everybody from everywhere comes in and has a
dope panel and it was a good time.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
Man there it happened. Welcome, Welcome home, walk Bro, welcome home.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
What's the name of that sandwichop that you love in
Hollis that you always go to sandwich place that you
are Buckley's. Yeah, Buckley's got beef patties.
Speaker 5 (04:32):
They have Jamaicans.
Speaker 3 (04:36):
Buckley's having a beef patty.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
Especially in the jam In Morning show with Foreign It's santy.
Speaker 7 (04:45):
When you need to know, no, we got you three
things you need to know On Boston's number one for
hip hop and the best throwbacks you haven't any more.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
Five.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
All right, here we are.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
It's Wednesday six, and let's start with Usher.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
Osher is having himself a little moment.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
His feature on Victoria Monet's SOS, which is Sex on Site,
has gone to number one on the Billboard Adult R
and B chart. Why this is important, you ass well,
this means that Usher has tied Charlie Wilson with the
most number ones for a solo male artist, with ten.
Speaker 3 (05:24):
Who's Charlie Wilson.
Speaker 5 (05:25):
I have no idea.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
I have no clue who Charlie Wilson is. But Charlie
Wilson is so big that he's got ten number one song.
Speaker 5 (05:33):
But I guess I'm not shocked that Usher has been
able to do that too, because you've been in the
game for a long time.
Speaker 3 (05:37):
He has.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
And if you think back to speaking of us being
in our younger days, it was almost like any song
he came out with, yeah, went number one. He had
like his that's you know, we keep talking about like
this resurgence of some of these actors and artists from
our day back when we were in high school and
middle school.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
Usher's one of them.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
I mean, he had a serious resurgence with his Vegans
Vegas residency.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
People are going crazy for that.
Speaker 5 (06:02):
And then you can't forget he did the halftime show
as well.
Speaker 3 (06:05):
I did forget that. Yeah, So because I'm not I mean,
I like Usher, but I'm not.
Speaker 5 (06:09):
I think Usher went through a bad little stretch there
when some news came out about him that wasn't so flattering. Well,
he was having like sexual affairs of people like.
Speaker 3 (06:18):
That one and he gave Chili right, that's the rumor.
Speaker 5 (06:22):
That's the rumor. I think it was confirmed that he
definitely caught something and he was spreading it around to people.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
Damn, he really messed that one up. Yes, he really
really did. Alicia Keys has the most number one songs
on the adult chart with fourteen. Tony Braxton is in
second place with eleven, and then you have Charlie Wilson
and Usher tied with ten ten.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
I just that's a very big number. I just need
to know who Charlie Wilson is, Charles Like, who can
you google that? Is he a country person?
Speaker 5 (06:48):
No, Charlie Wilson is an old school R and B artist.
Speaker 3 (06:51):
Give me one song, man.
Speaker 5 (06:53):
I don't think there's anything that you would.
Speaker 3 (06:54):
Know though, I mean ten number ones and I wouldn't
know anything.
Speaker 4 (06:57):
Yeah, but he's old school. You know this is not
I don't want to say Moltown. Everybody was back then.
You get what I'm saying, Like, this guy was a hit,
but he's seventy two years old. So you're making you.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
AJ has had pulled this one. I don't know what.
I don't know Charlie the old g R and b Okay,
So so his time came from back in the day.
They can have it all right.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
Every time a team wins a national championship, a championship, where.
Speaker 3 (07:27):
Did they head after they win?
Speaker 5 (07:29):
White House?
Speaker 3 (07:29):
White House? Duh uh?
Speaker 2 (07:31):
Well, we're waiting on that picture of the Philadelphia Eagles
outside because, by the way, there were a lot of
rumors swirling and suggesting that the Eagles, even if invited,
would not attend the White House.
Speaker 3 (07:45):
But Trump, He's like, listen, they're getting the getting the invite.
Speaker 8 (07:48):
They will be.
Speaker 5 (07:48):
We haven't yet, but we will be.
Speaker 9 (07:50):
I thought it was a great performance by them, and
absolutely they'll they'll be extended that invitation.
Speaker 5 (07:58):
Would you do that right away?
Speaker 1 (07:59):
By the way, we'll do.
Speaker 10 (08:00):
It right away.
Speaker 11 (08:00):
We're gonna do it sometime today. And they deserve to
be down here and we hope to see him.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
They absolutely deserve their invite. I just to me, it
would always be silly if you got invited to the
White House and didn't go.
Speaker 5 (08:13):
I would go with anybody.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
It doesn't matter who the president is, Like, go to
the White House.
Speaker 5 (08:18):
Check it out. I think, just a sign of it.
It's so much bigger than who the person is. I mean,
it's the White House, it's everything that comes along with that.
I would definitely go.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
We've talked about this often, but like if you got
the opportunity, whether you liked the president. I think I've
made enough jokes on this show that people know I'm
not the biggest Joe Biden fan.
Speaker 3 (08:37):
Joe says he wants to have dinner with me. Where
are we going? Now, let's chat.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
I'll have to remind him where we are seventeen times,
but I'm fine.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
I will go. I will go have dinner with Joe.
Speaker 5 (08:47):
And I back you up on that. I will go
with anybody, anybody. It's about the seal.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
It is, And to be honest, I'm just so nosy
and I like love this stuff so much. I just
want to see inside the office I want to see
what the hallways look like. I want to see what
the living quarters look like, all of it.
Speaker 5 (09:02):
I want to say where Monica gave you know, Bill.
Speaker 3 (09:06):
You know What's Crazy show? Monica Lewinsky was on call
her daddy.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
So I started listening to it this morning, and you know,
the three of us were obsessed with the show. And
I know this story through and through, but really to
hear it from Monica in her fifties and just reminding
so many times during this episode she kept saying, like
I was twenty two.
Speaker 3 (09:27):
She even at one point goes, I was twenty two.
Now in my fifties.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
I look back and I'm like, oh my god, Like
I thought she thought she was Bill Clinton's girlfriend, do
you know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (09:36):
Like she's twenty two, so she thinks the word Really
she was just a hook up for Bill.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
There were probably twelve other Monica Lewinsky's that we don't
know about. But she's like, you know, when you're twenty
two and he's this not justful, not just a man
in power, like the biggest There's no you're not getting
higher than Bill Clinton.
Speaker 3 (09:55):
By the way, we know Bill.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
Bill might have bagged me at twenty two, like that
man had a way.
Speaker 5 (10:00):
He was smooth.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
It really was.
Speaker 2 (10:02):
And she said, what's crazy now is looking back? You know,
he is still a couple of weeks out from that
whole thing. Even getting impeached, he was still popular. People
still loved him. He could still go out and be Okay,
She's like me, I ruined her life, right, still not
great for her.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
It's still not great for her.
Speaker 4 (10:20):
She said she come out with a bagline or something
something to do with beauty product. I thought there was
something that she came out with that she made some
money on.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
I don't know, maybe, but I'm like more than halfway through,
like he was calling her.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
He was just calling.
Speaker 5 (10:37):
Her out of town.
Speaker 4 (10:42):
You can go on the bag and give me the.
Speaker 3 (10:46):
Oh Man, all right.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
And lastly, you know, I think we forget that Tory
Lanez is locked up, like this man is just dying.
We're not going to see Tori for what I do
because I never really you.
Speaker 3 (10:56):
Know, it was Tory. I don't know, I never really
cared about him that much.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
But yeah, Tory lanes is locked up, as it did
he and Tory, uh, you know, he still wants to
make sure he gets new music. Out. But how do
you have to do that when you're in the one
bedroom apartment with the with the.
Speaker 5 (11:11):
Bars smuggle it out on the phone.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
No, you gotta like.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
Make your call and then do this. But sometimes you're
in a jail and a riot could happen behind you.
Speaker 12 (11:22):
All right, come tell me right, all right, right now,
I gotta go up ready, Hey, I can't stay on
the same From that, you can see the painted some
eyes and I came MASKI and I got trapped in.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
So there you have a Tory Lane is trying to
just you know, like lay some bars on a track
from the phone of the jail, but a massive fight
and brawl breaks out behind him, so chaos just ensued.
Speaker 5 (12:03):
Prison sounds absolutely off.
Speaker 3 (12:05):
Prison sounds terrible.
Speaker 5 (12:06):
And guess what terrifying.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
He is serving a ten year sentence, so he's gonna
be laying laying wraps over the phone for a very
long time.
Speaker 5 (12:14):
And he's a little guy too. Riot was happening. He
was still trying to wrap he really was.
Speaker 3 (12:19):
He didn't care.
Speaker 5 (12:20):
Was like, I got to get these bars out.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
Ye. Actually, what's weird is I could understand the first
part of it, and I liked where he was headed.
Because he's like, listen, I'm not gonna lie to you.
I'm not the same person I got. I have some pain.
I don't know what he said after that.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
Then the brawl happened, and then things got weird.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
But that's three things he's know for Wednesday, February the
twenty sixth the podcast again. Super easy way to catch
up via the show, especially if we reference things. You're
gonna down the free iHeartRadio app. You're gonna search ashlwle
ass is a preset and by the way, I want
to I'm talk I want to talk about this and
I want to get to thank you guys, thank you
(12:54):
for listening. And we asked you to make us your
number one preset is we're number one in the building
right now, bitch. We are number one in the building
right now, and that is because of you.
Speaker 5 (13:04):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
Dashy Morning Show with DJ fourn It's Saunty Good morning.
Speaker 7 (13:11):
Sauntin's number one for hip hop jamming ninety four or five.
Speaker 3 (13:16):
Hi, everybody, good morning. I hate texting.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
I hate it so much because we all read into
texts in a different way.
Speaker 5 (13:27):
That's true.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
I'm in the midst right now of a text exchange
with my aunt and her and her daughter and her
daughter's daughter. Oh remember Pepper, my cousin that was pregnant
at the wedding and was drinking and she didn't know
she was like eight months. Yeah, her and her kid
and her, my aunt whatever, they're all coming. So we
were talking about what we're gonna do when they're coming
(13:49):
the last weekend of March. Blah blah blah, we're going
back for She sends me a text this morning and
she goes, would it be stupid if I made these
t shirts for the girls when we come, you know,
to visit. They are tied I and they say the
Cousin Crew. So all I wrote back was yes, those
(14:09):
are stupid. We're not going to Disney, We're not even
so I wouldn't allow it, but not my cup of tea.
But she asked the question, do I think they're stupid?
I was honest. I said yes, I'm not putting my
kid in that, and then she wrote back oki doki.
Speaker 5 (14:30):
Oki dokie. I feel like she might have felt a
type of way me too.
Speaker 3 (14:35):
There's something about oki doky Now.
Speaker 2 (14:37):
I was just reading this out loud, and AJ goes,
oh no, no, no, I say oki doky all the time,
and I'm not saying it in a in a condescending
or like a mean way, but I.
Speaker 5 (14:44):
Think most of the time it does come off as
sarcastic on the other end, like the other person might
not feel like that, but it does come off like that, like.
Speaker 2 (14:53):
You would not. Also, I'm being honest with you. I'm
never typing out oki dok like who are these I.
Speaker 4 (14:58):
Don't really run in a circle down? Okay? Doki is
used often for forever.
Speaker 5 (15:02):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (15:03):
I'm I'm in the circles. I don't want to be Yeah, yeah,
you know what they are. You know what they are.
Speaker 3 (15:09):
They're white?
Speaker 5 (15:09):
Yeah, why not just say fine?
Speaker 3 (15:12):
Right, just say hey, what about okay? And O and
a K?
Speaker 2 (15:17):
I don't I don't know if I get an oki ok,
I'm not thinking like damn, like you feel in that
kind of way.
Speaker 3 (15:23):
That don't hit like a k okay. And That's what
I'm gonna get to. There are other things.
Speaker 2 (15:28):
So what's a response to you where you're like all
one hundred percent pissed just to.
Speaker 4 (15:32):
Let a k in response yep or a thumbs up.
The thumbs up I use all the time as like
sounds good. Don't send me over the moon, bro.
Speaker 2 (15:40):
And it's tough because I like to use the thumbs
up just to be like, I don't really have a response,
but I'm acknowledging I have.
Speaker 3 (15:45):
I'm not mad.
Speaker 5 (15:46):
I'd rather know response, honestly, because it's so dismissive. To me.
Speaker 4 (15:49):
A thumbs up is like, okay, you know what I mean.
It's like it's mad dismissive.
Speaker 3 (15:53):
What about kk?
Speaker 5 (15:54):
That yeah?
Speaker 3 (15:56):
What about okay KK?
Speaker 5 (15:58):
I know, just obvious question. What is happening?
Speaker 1 (16:03):
Right?
Speaker 5 (16:04):
Are you crazy? What is wrong with you?
Speaker 4 (16:07):
Because you know people were like nobody, No, I don't
think nobody types three ks, nobody, not one single soul.
Speaker 5 (16:20):
Something but something will hit been with the three cat
said you missed the.
Speaker 3 (16:23):
Case, not the k cake.
Speaker 5 (16:28):
Maybe maybe maybe if the Red Sox, the pitching and
like the pictures, like doing amazing and because when when
you do it, when you like strike somebody else.
Speaker 3 (16:38):
People are driving. She talking about the booklets clan, she's
not she's welcome back.
Speaker 5 (16:50):
Don't say anything. It's four three.
Speaker 3 (16:57):
I know, I know, but people do it.
Speaker 2 (16:59):
They that's the and they'll be like okay KKK okay,
hey all the cas but there has to be on
the front, right, because now I'm thinking about it, you're right,
people do right, you're right.
Speaker 5 (17:14):
Now, I wouldn't know how to respond to move the
whole difference.
Speaker 3 (17:18):
Fine, fine, fine, let's add the oh. I don't need
the seven ks.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
But I just think in text form, everybody's gonna digestive.
Speaker 3 (17:26):
She might have.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
She might be like, Okay, she doesn't want the shirts
in my head, ok she's mad.
Speaker 4 (17:31):
I don't know. I think that might just be the
way she talks. Maybe what about the exclamation points.
Speaker 5 (17:37):
Emphasis it's cool, you're yeah, you're just in the fifth back,
like a fifth pound back boom.
Speaker 3 (17:43):
Yeah, the fifth pound Okay.
Speaker 4 (17:46):
With the exclamation point, it's like you're really mad, like
you really pissed. You know what I'm saying to me,
that's like okay.
Speaker 5 (17:55):
Okay, yeah, okay.
Speaker 4 (17:57):
You know that energy kay, And the thumbs up for
me does it. I don't know what else other than
the ward one word response would make me feel like
you feel in Sometimes.
Speaker 2 (18:05):
One thing that people which, by the way, I don't
think that they're upset. But if somebody just very quickly
is like, cool, I want to go to the store later,
let's go at six cool. Some people might take that
as like a little stand offish. I think that's fine.
But if we were in person and you said I
was like, oh, foreign, let's run of the store, and
you go cool, I would not.
Speaker 5 (18:23):
Well, maybe it all depends on who the person is, right, Yeah,
because if that's a cool.
Speaker 4 (18:26):
What's just saying cool too? Like if I sent you
this whole explanation, then you just hit me back with cool.
Speaker 5 (18:32):
My mom died. She was like, cool, that's gonna work.
You don't care.
Speaker 3 (18:37):
It's gonna just say that. I'm trying to.
Speaker 2 (18:41):
I do actually now think it does. It does matter
who you're talking.
Speaker 3 (18:45):
To, though, because the fireman hits me.
Speaker 2 (18:48):
With a K, just like the letter there's he's upset.
He's never done that, but I would know he's upset.
He utilizes the thumbs up though. He's a big thumbs
up guy.
Speaker 5 (18:57):
Yeah, and I am too.
Speaker 2 (18:59):
Foreign's triggers, so he doesn't like the thumbs up and
he doesn't like KKK without the oh yeah is what
we are learning here today, which is like, No, that
was great.
Speaker 3 (19:10):
Now that I look back on it, I'm like, yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
I definitely met with guys.
Speaker 3 (19:14):
I met with the o.
Speaker 8 (19:16):
Es.
Speaker 1 (19:16):
Actually, and the Jamie moy Show with DJ Foreign It's
Santy Glynn.
Speaker 7 (19:20):
You need to know, No, we got you three things
you need to know on Boston's Number one for him,
hop and the best throwbags you haven't any more.
Speaker 1 (19:29):
Five.
Speaker 10 (19:30):
How we left at the end of the season is
that he was fired up. He has one more year
under contract and still think he has that fire and
desire to play. And as far as I'm concerned that
there is no deadline, I think we left it as
he'd be back and we're excited to get him back
and get him get him going.
Speaker 2 (19:44):
Well, there you have it Wednesday, Feb twenty six, and
let's hope that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift don't have
a Tom Brady and Giselle type of promise where I'm retiring.
I'm retiring because everybody thought there was a chance that
Travis Kelsey was done. But you just heard it there
from the general manager of the Chiefs. His name is
Brett Veach, and he's like, oh no, no, no, no, he's
fired up and he's ready. I didn't I didn't really
(20:06):
think the man was ready to retire.
Speaker 5 (20:08):
I thought there was a chance. Yeah, it's clear that
he's at the end of his.
Speaker 2 (20:11):
Career though, fine, but I just I think he wants
to go for it one more time, which is tough
because you go one more time. What if you make
to the super Bowl and lose again? You go one
more like how do we where do we draw the line?
Speaker 5 (20:23):
But then also what if you go for another time
and you're not the player that you once wore. I
feel like that's what the sentiment was on him at
the end of the season though, But he still looked good.
They made it the super Bowl.
Speaker 2 (20:33):
Yeah, and he I don't know, he just still has
like a bounce about him. He's not giving like retirement.
Andy Reid, head coach of the Chiefs, also expressed a
lot of confidence when asked about Travis Kelcey and him
coming back.
Speaker 3 (20:45):
So sorry, Taylor, one more season.
Speaker 5 (20:47):
Yeah, So it seems.
Speaker 2 (20:49):
All right, This one is going to choke me up
because we are literally tomorrow actually is the one year
anniversary of me losing my dog, So I know how
it feels.
Speaker 3 (20:58):
The rock is morning the loss of his little Frenchie.
Speaker 2 (21:02):
He shared the news on ig I guess Hobbs is
a very big part of his Instagram.
Speaker 3 (21:06):
I think I have the rock on there.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
But I don't know if I ever noticed that, but
he said, quote, I'm numb over the loss. We're so
grateful for every ounce of pure love he gave our
entire family, and we're so grateful he didn't suffer long
as he was quietly and bravely left us.
Speaker 3 (21:19):
In the night. He said.
Speaker 2 (21:21):
He also invites the dog to come back in spirit
form so they could get in trouble and laugh again.
I guess he adopted him in like twenty fifteen because
he had another dog at the time by the name
of Brutus, who died from eating a toxic mushroom in
the backyard. The hell that happens, I gus. But dude,
(21:43):
losing a pet is a weird feeling. And I always
say this, and I always use this as the as
an example, because somebody said this to me. If you
took a human and you lock them in your trunk
for three hours, you open up that trunk, that human's
going to be like you're dead to me. You know,
you put the dog or the cat in there, they're
so happy to see you.
Speaker 3 (22:04):
Tail's gonna be wagon. I don't know what cats do,
but you.
Speaker 2 (22:07):
Know, but the dog, the dogs are just they just
love unconditionally.
Speaker 3 (22:17):
They're so happy to see you.
Speaker 2 (22:18):
So this is good for me to see post the
conversation that I had yesterday, you know, because sometimes the
dogs get lost in translation when you have little babies
and kids and life gets in the way.
Speaker 3 (22:29):
But they're a good companion.
Speaker 5 (22:31):
They definitely are. And Hobbs was all over the Instagram.
He goes on the page. Boy, he did go on
the PJ.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
And all right, I'm not even going to dig into
this because Nick Rocco's got a lot of work to
do and he's joining us next.
Speaker 3 (22:47):
But Karen Reid was back in court yesterday and people were.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
Waiting for this because remember the last we had was
Judge Bev.
Speaker 3 (22:54):
Being like, oh my god, I have grave concerns.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
I gotta get out of here like this this woman
Austin up on the stand and so we're like, what's
going on? But remember in court we were gonna learn
about this twenty four thousand dollars that was given to
the ARKA experts, who are the ARCA experts. I've explained this,
I know Nick has too, but basically, the ARCA experts
were hired by the defense to basically inform the jury
(23:20):
that John's injuries were not consistent with that of like
vehicular homicide. What they're there to say is the scratches
on his head and his body they can't come from
a car type of thing.
Speaker 3 (23:31):
Why were they paid twenty four thousand dollars?
Speaker 2 (23:33):
Now, Obviously prosecution is like, oh, they were paid to
say that, and the defense is like, well, no, we
had to put them up, We had to get them here.
This is how many times they were here, in this
amount of money and all the things. So there was
a lot of explaining that needed to be done.
Speaker 3 (23:49):
Yesterday.
Speaker 2 (23:50):
There was also the conversation of Alan Jackson being kicked
to the curb, no longer able to represent Karen Reid.
Speaker 3 (23:58):
I'm not going to act like I was able to follow.
Speaker 2 (24:02):
It was a lot yesterday, and it was taking them
a lot of time to explain where all this money
was coming from. And as they should. We should be
meticulous with us, we should take our time. Nick is
gonna help us, He's gonna break it down. Karen, by
the way, is expected back in court on March fourth.
I'm sure he'll explain that and more. Thus, three things
you need to know for Wednesday February twenty six. Nick
(24:23):
Rocco will join us next morning.
Speaker 3 (24:26):
Nasty and the.
Speaker 1 (24:27):
Jam In Morning shot with DJ four and it's suns
A Good morning.
Speaker 7 (24:31):
Bustin's number one for hip hop jamming ninety four or five.
Speaker 3 (24:36):
Hi, everybody, good morning.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
I always think to myself, I wonder if Nick Rocco
has aver has like a moment in his brain where
he thinks Iver should have given Ashley one number.
Speaker 5 (24:47):
Probably I'm texting Nick.
Speaker 2 (24:49):
I'm texting Nick in the middle of the night sometimes like, Nick,
what does this mean?
Speaker 3 (24:53):
What is happening?
Speaker 13 (24:55):
Nick?
Speaker 3 (24:55):
I had text you when was that? This was Monday
around dinner time.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
Poor man was probably sitting down with his wife and
his child, trying to have a nice meal, And I go,
I'm confused.
Speaker 3 (25:07):
What does this mean?
Speaker 2 (25:08):
The headline said, the federal investigation into the death of
John O'Keefe has ended. No charges will be filed. Quote
sources say, Nick, what does this mean? Who are the sources?
What does any of this mean?
Speaker 3 (25:22):
For Karen. Let's start there and then we'll go to court.
Speaker 8 (25:26):
So to be honest, I mean it's two anonymous sources.
If I had to take a wild guess, I could
probably guess who those sources were, and it was probably
someone from the McCabe and Albert's side. I don't necessarily
agree with it. I'm not saying it's not true, but
(25:46):
I am definitely skeptical about it because we were told
that Hank Brennan was gonna announce this in court yesterday
that it was over, and that's a pretty big deal,
and that wasn't announced yesterday and quote that this federal
investigation is over. So with that being said, I don't
know if it is one over. From my understanding, it's
still ongoing. But also the Feds usually don't announce when
(26:12):
a federal investigation is closed, so well, we'll have to
wait to see what happens, I mean, if there's a
press release or if the FBI even says anything about it.
But as of right now, I still believe it's ongoing.
Speaker 2 (26:26):
Well, I had also heard that rumor, and some people
were saying that in the comment section, like Okay, well
we'll learn in court tomorrow as in yesterday, And we
didn't learn anything, not at least in reference to that yesterday.
Speaker 8 (26:40):
Yeah, I mean, yesterday was kind of a big, a
big waste of another day to be honest tweet, Nick.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
Before you get to that, I also want to make
one thing clear because you made it clear to me,
and I think it's important when people talk about this
federal investigation into the John o'keef and Karen Reid, it
is not a federal investigation of Karen Reid for killing
John O'Keeffe. It is a federal investigation about the way
in which the case was handled correct like the police
(27:08):
can't okay exactly.
Speaker 8 (27:10):
So basically, the federal investigation being over doesn't necessarily hurt
Karen Reid's case. And the reason why is because the
first jury had no idea that the federal investigation was
was even a thing, and they they found her not
guilty on two of the three charges, and the third
(27:30):
charge that they were hung on wasn't even manslaughter, it
was it was one of the lesser included chargers. So
if this federal investigation is over, the only thing that
this hurts is actually getting real justice for John O'Keefe,
because the federal investigation cleared Karen Reid. In the very
very beginning of this, they cleared her. That's why they
(27:52):
hired the ARCA guys that we saw the whole court.
Speaker 1 (27:55):
Case was about yesterday.
Speaker 8 (27:57):
They wouldn't have hired, you know, paid five hundred thousand
dollars for these ARCA guys if they had any out
of belief that Karen Reid did this. So the only
person this is actually going to hurt in the long
run is office with John O'Keefe, So that that's unfortunately,
the sad thing is that he'll never have real justice
(28:17):
for the you know, the people that did end up
doing this to him. They're not gonna they're not gonna
be held accountable for it.
Speaker 2 (28:22):
Okay, So we'll tie that up for now until we
hear more, until we get an actual confirmation that the
federal investigation has done. That's what we have on that
for now. You keep using the word arka. I know
what an ARCA expert is. For anybody listening that was
seeing the headlines that watch a little bit. In court
yesterday we heard a ton about the ARCA experts. The
ARCA experts, who are they and why are they pivotal
(28:45):
to this case?
Speaker 8 (28:47):
So they are the accident reconstructionists that the FBI hired
to do basically to find out did Karen Reid strike
John O'Keefe with her vehicle into the vehicle hit John O'Keeffe,
and they came to the conclusion. Back on they did
a whole investigation into this, and then February twelfth, twenty
(29:11):
twenty four, the ARCA report was complete. It was finished.
They had their opinions and the conclusions of this case
that John O'Keeffe, due to the physics and science, it's
physically impossible that Karen Reid struck John O'Keeffe with the
vehicle and his injuries were insignificant with being struck by
(29:31):
a vehicle. So at that point, February twelfth, twenty twenty four,
that's their opinion and nothing could change that, no matter
if Adam Lalley reached out to them or the defense
team reached out to them. That opinion has always been
the same. So that is that's a crucial piece of
information because what Hank Brennan's trying to do is basically said, well,
(29:55):
they emailed each other and they and they talked and
they talked about the you know, potential testimony and this
or not, but it doesn't necessarily matter because their opinion
has always been the same.
Speaker 2 (30:06):
So this moment happens in court, the Comwalth just provided
the court with information that causes me grave concern. The
implications of that information may have profound effects on this
defense and Defense Council. Judge Bev had grave concerns so
(30:28):
much so that she's like, I got to take a
step back, we got to get out of here. So
we come back to court yesterday after her quote grave concerns.
We are back in court to decide where this twenty
four thousand dollars came from to the ARCA experts, which
you just explained who they are, and Karen's defense was
expected to explain yesterday in court where the twenty four
(30:50):
thousand dollars came from, why the ARCA experts were given
the twenty four thousand dollars, because Hank Brennan was kind
of insinuating that maybe these experts were paid off to
come to that conclusion that you just gave.
Speaker 1 (31:04):
Correct.
Speaker 8 (31:05):
So basically, this invoice was given to the defense team
on July twenty fourth, twenty twenty four. The invoice was
dated for July twelfth, twenty twenty four. Now, the defense
team had no idea that they were receiving a bill
for anything that the ARKA experts were doing One thing
(31:29):
that Alan Jackson had said in an email was they
were looking for basically not an acceptance letter, but basically
a letter saying Okay, we'll testify for you. And then
he also brought up the word retainer. He said, and
we'll talk about a retainer. And then that's when all
communication ended back on I believe it was marched twenty second.
(31:54):
They had no more conversations after that point. No retainer
was ever given to the to the ARCA experts, there
was no promise of anything, no reward, nothing. So at
that point the defense team had not paid ARCA, and
they did not pay ARCA until the end of the
trial due to this invoice that they randomly received.
Speaker 1 (32:16):
So what did they do?
Speaker 8 (32:18):
They called the US Attorney's office and said, hey, we
got this bill. What are we supposed to do with this?
And they said you have to pay it? So what
were they gonna do not pay it? I mean, it's it's.
Speaker 3 (32:29):
Though it seems a little step.
Speaker 2 (32:31):
I mean, what hotels were they staying at, what food
were they got it?
Speaker 8 (32:35):
You got to look at it like this. So for example,
Wolfe I believe was three hundred an hour in Renschler
was four hundred an hour. So it's not just flight,
you know, being two hundred and fifty dollars a flight.
It's it's the two hundred and fifty dollars a flight.
But then every hour they're in that airport traveling, you
had three hundred dollars an hour to that.
Speaker 3 (32:57):
Wow.
Speaker 8 (32:57):
And while they're waiting in court, if they had to
wait for two hours, they have six hundred dollars. So
people are like, well, how did they how did they,
you know, spend all this money on travel expenses. It's
it's the time I asked the.
Speaker 3 (33:09):
Same question to myself.
Speaker 2 (33:10):
But you're right that they do charge hourly and I
didn't think about that, and that makes sense to me.
Speaker 3 (33:15):
Like these lawyers, I mean, they're expensive.
Speaker 1 (33:17):
We don't know.
Speaker 8 (33:18):
I mean, the the airlines are horrible. We don't know
if one of their flights got delayed for six hours,
you know what I'm saying. So so let's just say
one of them was delayed for six hours, six hundred,
six hours times four hundred, I mean, it adds up
more than people assume. One of the things they did
bring up was in the invoice it said trial prep. Now,
(33:39):
the trial prep was not preparation with the defense team.
The trial prep was when doctor Wolf and doctor Renschler
were preparing themselves for what they were going to talk
about during this testimony. They're not just gonna not They're
not just gonna not gonna look over their notes and
just go into the blindly. Of course, they're going to
(34:01):
prepare themselves. So Hank Brennan is trying to turn this into, well,
you prepped with them, you didn't tell us this stuff,
and that influenced the jury because you tried to make
the jury believe you did not pay them. But here's
the biggest thing that people should know is during that
first trial, they did not pay them. They didn't know
they were going to be paying them. So everything that
(34:22):
they said during that first trial was one hundred percent
accurate because they didn't even know that they were going
to be paying them, so there was no lie. But
they're trying to turn this into something bigger than it
actually is, when the grave concern should be that they
manipulated inverted videos and during the middle of trial, and
that they're still handing videos over three years after this
(34:44):
trial has begun. So it's interesting what the state wants
to have grave concern about and what they don't want
to have grave concern about.
Speaker 2 (34:54):
What did the conclusion end up coming to yesterday in court?
Because I know it was long and it was lengthy and.
Speaker 5 (35:00):
We didn't get one.
Speaker 8 (35:02):
It's continued to uh March moret week March fourth, So
basically Karen's going to be in court March fourth for
the continuation of this, but also the motion to dismiss
should be argued on March fourth. March fifth, she'll be
in the federal court for the for the appeal that
they filed, and then all then after the federal hearing
(35:23):
going back to Judge Bev's court and then I believe
they come in that that Friday as well because they
have a lot of motions, they still have not gone
over or had any rulings on.
Speaker 3 (35:33):
So next week for Karen Reid, Yeah.
Speaker 8 (35:37):
Very busy and uh. One thing I would like to
say is today's her birthday. This is her third birthday
going through this nightmare she's been through, So happy birthday
to her. If anyone wants to, you know, give her
a birthday wish, the best way to do it is to,
you know, donate to free Karenreid dot net and if
(35:59):
you donate the dollars and more, we're giving away a
trip to Florida, so you can enter that giveaway as well.
Speaker 3 (36:05):
How old is Karen turning today?
Speaker 8 (36:07):
Forty five?
Speaker 2 (36:09):
Well, I would assume something like this has giving her
some gray hairs because I'm stressed.
Speaker 3 (36:13):
Out for her. It's a lot.
Speaker 2 (36:15):
Well, listen, we might have to have you on multiple
times next week then gearing up.
Speaker 3 (36:19):
We got a lot going on, all right, Nick. Well,
as always, thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (36:22):
We appreciate you coming on, and we will talk to
you next week.
Speaker 8 (36:26):
You've got to have a good day.
Speaker 3 (36:27):
Thanks buddy.
Speaker 2 (36:28):
It's just it's just crazy when you hear him explain
it like that, but you also have to you also
have to keep in mind and Nick Nick is a
free Karen Reid guy.
Speaker 3 (36:38):
Absolutely, we talked to somebody that's not.
Speaker 2 (36:40):
We might hear it a little bit differently, but that's
just that's just the way it is right now.
Speaker 5 (36:45):
I didn't think the twenty g's was a lot like
as a consultant.
Speaker 3 (36:48):
Just oh see, I did. I'm like, twenty four thousand dollars.
How were they at the Ritz and charge expensive hotel?
Speaker 5 (36:55):
But just like you said, you charge for everything you
gave in your car, you pick up a phone call,
you're on a meeting, you charge for you sponsor.
Speaker 3 (37:01):
Yes, absolutely, I know trial prep they charged for that.
Speaker 2 (37:06):
I didn't even like they're just sitting in their bedrooms
prepping for the trial that they can charge for that.
Speaker 3 (37:11):
That's why we have them on. That is why we ask.
Speaker 2 (37:14):
And as always, if somebody is on the other end
of this, you can feel free to call. You know,
we have a lot of free care and read listeners,
but there are.
Speaker 3 (37:21):
Others out there.
Speaker 2 (37:21):
Six one, seven, nine, three four five if you want
to weigh in. As always, thank you, Nick Rocco, Ashley
and the.
Speaker 1 (37:28):
Jam In Morning Show with DJ Foreign and Sauti.
Speaker 7 (37:31):
When you need to know, we got you three things
you need to know on Boston's number one for hip
hop and the best throwbags you haven't any more.
Speaker 1 (37:39):
Five.
Speaker 2 (37:41):
All right, let's get some things out of the way.
No offense to Usher and D two, but we got
to get to Kanye. So Wednesday, February twenty six, Usher
doing really well? Can we We can call it a
resurgen resurgence for Usher, right, I mean, you would have
thought his height would have been when we were younger,
because there anything that man tell turned to gold.
Speaker 3 (38:02):
But he is still doing well.
Speaker 2 (38:03):
I really think that Vegas residency just brought him back
go away, but he was just like there. But this
guy with his new feature on Victoria Monet's so os,
which means sex on site, He's gone to number one
on the Billboard Adult R and B chart, meaning he
has now tied Charlie Wilson with the most number ones
(38:24):
for a male.
Speaker 3 (38:26):
Solo artist with ten. That's for the males.
Speaker 2 (38:29):
Because Alicia Keys is the queen, she holds the record
there with fourteen. Tony Braxton in second place with eleven,
but ten is a lot and this new resurgence of Usher.
Speaker 3 (38:37):
Is helping big time.
Speaker 5 (38:39):
Yeah, Man's an icon.
Speaker 2 (38:41):
I always, I always now when I think of Usher,
think of aj going to the show and getting close
to him and like she almost fainted, literally almost.
Speaker 3 (38:48):
Died on spot. She watches it often of her life.
Speaker 2 (38:52):
Yeah, if she never finds anybody, she will die with
a cat next to her.
Speaker 3 (38:56):
And that video, we know that to be true. All right,
let's talk about that and Donald Trump.
Speaker 2 (39:00):
We all know when somebody wins a championship, they go
to one place, the White House. I guess there's a
rumor that the Eagles are like, we're good, We're all set.
Even if the Eagles don't come that you still got
to give him the invite, and President Donald Trump plans
on doing so.
Speaker 5 (39:15):
They will be.
Speaker 9 (39:15):
We haven't yet, but we will be. I thought it
was a great performance by them, and absolutely they'll they'll
be extended that invitation.
Speaker 11 (39:24):
Would you do that right away? By the way, we'll
do it right away. We're going to do it sometime today.
And they deserve to be down here, and we hope
to see him.
Speaker 2 (39:32):
They do deserve it. Trump was there, he watched the game.
I'm thinking some will show and some won't.
Speaker 5 (39:38):
Yeah, and then they'll definitely be a jersey with a
number forty seven on the back.
Speaker 3 (39:43):
Yeah, forty five slash forty seven.
Speaker 2 (39:45):
And I'm going no matter who the president is, just
because I'm nosy.
Speaker 3 (39:49):
Yeah, I want to look around a few hallways. I
want to see what Milani is up to.
Speaker 5 (39:53):
Yeah, you know, is this where Kennedy was having sex
with all the girls?
Speaker 2 (39:56):
Yeah, like, what's up? Yeah, Bill, Monica, all the things.
All right, let's get into it. I got a d
M from somebody and she's like, ash, how have you not.
How have you not broken it down? Like what's going on?
Speaker 3 (40:07):
I was waiting because I needed to have time.
Speaker 2 (40:10):
So let's start with the fact that Kanye is back
on IG. He was trending earlier in the day yesterday,
and we did talk about.
Speaker 3 (40:18):
This because him and Game teamed up.
Speaker 2 (40:22):
Game dropped a verse over a song of Tina Knowles
coming out to go on the I mess it up
every time Jennifer Hudson Show. So, if you know anything
about the Jennifer Hudson Show, any one of her guests
when they come out of their dressing room, they walk
down a hallway of all of our employees and they
sing like a chant. So the Tina Knowles chant happens
because she goes on the show.
Speaker 3 (40:43):
Game hops on the remix your name.
Speaker 5 (40:52):
The trout was stressing me out most stomach and nuts.
Speaker 13 (40:59):
So what took a.
Speaker 11 (41:00):
Couple of shots, and.
Speaker 3 (41:05):
I mean I kind of liked it. I'm not gonna
lie to you.
Speaker 10 (41:08):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (41:08):
And then obviously Kanye is sharing a screenshot of Game
sliding into Tina Nole's DMS with a banana emoji.
Speaker 3 (41:17):
Has that replaced the eggplant? I don't know.
Speaker 5 (41:19):
I don't know the Eglant though, so maybe it should
either way.
Speaker 2 (41:25):
Everybody was talking about the two of them because of
that yesterday, and then things started to take its turn.
Speaker 3 (41:31):
Now follow along here, lots of moving parts.
Speaker 2 (41:34):
We have drama away from those two with Alabama Barker
and Bad Baby. Alabama Barker is Travis Barker's blonde daughter.
Speaker 3 (41:43):
You've probably seen her before. They look a lot alike.
Bad Baby is kick. How about day? Bad Baby just
beat cancer. She's going through it, okay. Now, while she was.
Speaker 2 (41:55):
Going through cancer, her and her man's they had a
little bit of AMA and there was a rumor that
Alabama Barker was trying to hook up with Bad Babies.
Ma'am all right, So that beef ensued between the two
of them. They're going back and forth on social media.
Gets to the point where Bad Baby drops a disk
(42:17):
track and asks Kanye for a sample of Carnival and
Kanye gives the okay, they.
Speaker 3 (42:24):
Stick of that. That sheine made me laugh.
Speaker 5 (42:25):
I call them allaway.
Speaker 3 (42:27):
The NFL boy's read to train on you. Now you
want a scene? How rich out a thousand bodies?
Speaker 5 (42:31):
They know nothing?
Speaker 3 (42:32):
Drink Jackey, you gotta floor.
Speaker 1 (42:34):
You point dan Nor Batch you just for a little pain.
Speaker 3 (42:38):
It's easy to get that horn.
Speaker 2 (42:39):
Batch.
Speaker 3 (42:39):
You almost overdosed on a baby.
Speaker 14 (42:41):
Nobody ain't called batch.
Speaker 3 (42:42):
I'll pay you the road to be your friend, to
beat the sap couch Yu damn Alabama, tramped Alabama.
Speaker 14 (42:50):
Wait this straight got the window bath plan out of
his syst your beat, well your hands Ala Bella Baby says,
I'm up the street like you're right, Yeah, I'm not
a Bella really dumb enough to think I'd tell you anything,
you dumb, dirty ho.
Speaker 5 (43:03):
I wouldn't tell you what color socks.
Speaker 15 (43:05):
I got on.
Speaker 3 (43:05):
I'm going hard hard, I'm just it is what it is.
So now we have this song, Kanye is kind of
on it.
Speaker 2 (43:16):
Bad Baby hops on ig Live and plays a sample
and makes you feel.
Speaker 3 (43:23):
Like, oh my god, ye hopped on the remix.
Speaker 6 (43:29):
I just want to.
Speaker 5 (43:33):
Landaces a million.
Speaker 2 (43:36):
So it's believable because we know he had to give
the okay for the Carnival sample, and we're thinking, oh
my god, this means Ya has chosen a side.
Speaker 3 (43:46):
Yay's on bad Baby side, meaning Yay is going against
the Kardashians, his kids, his family, all the things.
Speaker 2 (43:53):
Well, because that narrative started being pushed, Yay said, oh no.
Speaker 3 (43:57):
I will stop this now. He does his weird creep
video thing and post this on Twitter.
Speaker 8 (44:03):
Yo.
Speaker 5 (44:03):
None in the middle of none of of this.
Speaker 12 (44:05):
AI beef, people throwing my voice, some things, the whole
carnival sample. I just talked to Travis Barker. I would
never be in the middle. I don't even know what's
going on. I just got cent a song and asked
if I could play this sample. Only reason why I
clear anything is because so many people try to stop me.
They stop clearance is. Everything has been very difficult for me,
(44:29):
so I always anybody asked me because some are always clear.
But I'm not cool with being put in the middle
of all of this at all. So any verse would
be going viral using my voice and all that.
Speaker 5 (44:41):
It's like I didn't do it, okay.
Speaker 2 (44:43):
So it got so crazy that he literally called Travis
Barker was like, I don't even know the players in this,
which I actually believe.
Speaker 3 (44:49):
Do I really think that Yay's thinking about cash me outside?
Speaker 2 (44:52):
How does that He's not? He has bigger issues. So
I think he called trap to be like, listen, I
don't want to. I don't want like I don't know
these people. I don't want any drama. I also believe
him when he says I cleared the sample because people
block me all the time. We have heard so many
times clips of songs that never released because the other
artists are like, no, I'm not clearing the sample for you.
(45:14):
So I believe him when he says that it's just
crazy because the AI.
Speaker 3 (45:18):
Version of him sounds really good.
Speaker 2 (45:21):
And that thought process of oh my god, he okayed this,
meaning he's he's on Bad Baby's side, would be a
bad look for Kim in the gang.
Speaker 5 (45:31):
Bad Baby has some skills like that. This track was good.
Speaker 3 (45:33):
I didn't hate it. I didn't hate it.
Speaker 2 (45:35):
And by the way, she had a music video for it,
and she had a fake Travis Barker hitting the drums
in the back and she's holding his head.
Speaker 4 (45:42):
And if y'all remember how she looked on the TV show,
and then obviously how she normally looks, she's changed up.
Speaker 5 (45:47):
She's done some surgery to face. She doesn't even look
like you female.
Speaker 3 (45:50):
I say, I don't think you would even recognize her.
Speaker 2 (45:52):
And she went through a man like she was struggling,
and then then they had this beef over the man
and I think.
Speaker 3 (45:57):
There was a kid involved, like there was. There was
a lot to it. But the song, the the disc
track that she dropped, it's people are talking about it.
Speaker 5 (46:08):
That line is like, that's tough. It's tough, especially if
I was a dad too, well, if I was like
you know.
Speaker 2 (46:15):
There's also a line in there where she says she
says that she refers to her as Marlowine's like, I'm
assuming that she looks like the like in White Checks.
Speaker 5 (46:24):
Is that I'm assuming? And he actually, yes, I see.
Speaker 3 (46:30):
He and I after she said, I was like, oh damn,
like I came, yeah, exactly. That's nuts.
Speaker 2 (46:36):
All right, there's streamings needs to know for Wednesday, February
twenty six.
Speaker 3 (46:40):
The weekend is coming to Jillette Stadium. You're not gonna
want to miss this show. Easy way to win.
Speaker 2 (46:44):
All you gotta do is be call her twenty five
right now six one seven, nine three one one nine
for five or how can you have one.
Speaker 16 (46:53):
Day and the morning show with d J four and
it's saw Morning, Cousin's number one for hip hop.
Speaker 7 (47:00):
I'm in ninety four or five.
Speaker 3 (47:03):
Hi, everybody, good morning. The crew is officially back. DJ
Forourn has.
Speaker 5 (47:07):
Returned from what from that's that's just the same. Geeze. Yeah,
it's like.
Speaker 3 (47:17):
To me it was geez, I'm like what we're happy
or back?
Speaker 2 (47:22):
He was in Jamaica and yes, for everybody asking, he
got the KFC, he secured the bag.
Speaker 3 (47:28):
It was the best.
Speaker 2 (47:29):
I can't wait to go to Jamaica to try it.
If I tell anybody that, they're gonna think I'm nuts.
Speaker 3 (47:33):
But you have to know to know. All right, we're
checking in right now. What's going on? How are you?
Speaker 1 (47:39):
Six?
Speaker 2 (47:39):
One seven, nine, three one five. If you're new to
the show, welcome. This is the part where you call
me and you talk about anything you want. You could
call and tell us a story. You could say good morning,
you could ask for advice, anything you want. Marissa is
going to kick it off in Warwick and and oh
do you have a story to tell? What did you
What did you do to your toilet this morning? Was
(48:00):
it one or two?
Speaker 15 (48:02):
All right, I'm not even blaming myself, I'm blaming my fiance.
Let's do this where I'm to say he has.
Speaker 2 (48:08):
I d S.
Speaker 15 (48:09):
All right, So I go to plush the toilet and
all of a sudden, the water is pouring everywhere. So
I'm like, all right, plunger okay, no, not working, not
happening now, it's it's making its way across the bathroom floor.
So I'm panicking. Now I'm using the scale.
Speaker 3 (48:34):
It was it was it pea water though?
Speaker 1 (48:36):
Or was it?
Speaker 16 (48:38):
No?
Speaker 15 (48:38):
Actually it was clear water.
Speaker 3 (48:41):
Okay, so yeah that was It's better.
Speaker 5 (48:45):
No, it's better.
Speaker 3 (48:48):
For everybody.
Speaker 15 (48:50):
I probably would have just shut the door and left it.
And I'm like, oh my god, what happened? But I
was either my scale, my trash can and the bathtub
as stepping stone to try and handle any water I could. Finally,
thanks the Lord, it stopped.
Speaker 3 (49:10):
Oh my god, did you and did you wake him up?
Speaker 2 (49:13):
Because I'm like, sir, your ibs is overflowing our toilet.
Speaker 15 (49:18):
Oh no, he was already at work.
Speaker 2 (49:20):
Damn.
Speaker 15 (49:21):
I shouldn't even do anything. So I made him a
lovely video and he was like, you have a great
job when you get home from work and it is
mopping the entire house.
Speaker 2 (49:33):
Oh good god?
Speaker 3 (49:35):
All right, bad, well, hey glad you got out of
there alive.
Speaker 15 (49:39):
We can only go up from here.
Speaker 3 (49:41):
That's right. Seriously, it's eight thirty in the morning. You're
on the up and up.
Speaker 1 (49:44):
Thank you.
Speaker 5 (49:44):
For the call Marissa's husband.
Speaker 4 (49:46):
I'm gonna say this might work here, bro, because somebody
this morning dish we special.
Speaker 5 (49:55):
Like I've never seen that. Like it was everywhere, like
if you're gonna go here now was a single It
was everywhere.
Speaker 4 (50:01):
It was every Sometimes you're going there and you bought
it and you notice that someone's been in there and
they might have you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 5 (50:07):
Hit like the back of the basin. Yes, yeah, yeah,
this was on the lid in the back what the
hinge is?
Speaker 3 (50:14):
But they didn't make it in time because that's crazy.
Speaker 4 (50:16):
As they were sitting it, it was no, no, no,
you guys know what definitely wasn't you, bro, because this
was like six in the morning and it was crazy.
And there I also go in the single stall that's
like outside the building here.
Speaker 5 (50:28):
It was crazy.
Speaker 3 (50:29):
Do you have any thoughts on who it was?
Speaker 4 (50:32):
Na, I don't know who because I'm trying to think
who was hit that early in the morning justin.
Speaker 5 (50:39):
But you remember, like a couple of years back, there
was an issue here where the boss had to put
like a sign up and ask people to be more
respectful to the toilets. Well, now, yeah, look back and
flush and make.
Speaker 2 (50:50):
Sure it's certainly not trying to start any any beef.
But you have said that Justin is like he's grotesque.
Speaker 5 (50:57):
Peas on the floor, crazy, the grown man peeing on.
Speaker 3 (51:00):
What are you doing?
Speaker 5 (51:01):
You don't kiss me all day? Up and the up.
Speaker 3 (51:04):
That's what I'm saying. You guys supposed to be better.
Speaker 5 (51:06):
Yeah, and then and then Billy shaves in the sink,
doesn't clean up. You don't remember.
Speaker 4 (51:13):
I put that on Snap one day and I was like, yo,
I've seen like just little hairs everywhere. I'm like, who
did this?
Speaker 5 (51:17):
And then y'all told me it was Yeah, they're disgusting.
Speaker 3 (51:21):
How do we know?
Speaker 5 (51:21):
I don't know how y'all found out.
Speaker 3 (51:23):
I know, don't bring me.
Speaker 5 (51:27):
I know it was because I've been in the bathroom
him where he tends to shave before he has to
go film this TV show, so he does it like
a couple of times a week. Disgusting animal.
Speaker 3 (51:38):
I just need you to to let me get through
this because I know what you're going to say, and
it wasn't.
Speaker 5 (51:45):
So we're gonna pretend now ahead, No, let's act.
Speaker 2 (51:49):
This is not.
Speaker 3 (51:50):
I'm very serious about this, but I know you guys
know it.
Speaker 2 (51:54):
So we had to get a new toilet put into
the house yesterday because the toilet in the power room
kept like overflowing and clogging to the point where when
my dad came to visit, the fireman had to use
the plunder wasn't enough.
Speaker 3 (52:13):
He had to use a tool called the auger. Have
you ever heard of this thing?
Speaker 2 (52:17):
I had never heard of it myself, but people that
are in plumbing they know what I'm talking about. So
it looks like a long wire like a snake, and
you crank it, and you crank it and it goes
all the way down into the pipes and it pushes
out whatever was in there. Okay, my husband had to
(52:39):
auger my father's poop to get it out. Stop because please,
what did the hell did you eat? Like?
Speaker 5 (52:50):
What are you eating? And that long intestine?
Speaker 2 (52:53):
Six one seven, nine, three one five? Please call and
talk about anything but poop, anything.
Speaker 5 (53:00):
Daddy and the jam In Morning.
Speaker 16 (53:02):
Show with DJ Forn It's SAT Morning show, Bustin's number
one for hip hop.
Speaker 3 (53:06):
Heam in ninety four or five. Hi, everybody, good morning.
Speaker 2 (53:14):
You know we know because we've done so much research
and our bosses and our bosses boss they do all
this this research, so we know that a lot of
people go between our show and down the Hall the
kiss Want to Wait Morning show.
Speaker 3 (53:26):
We know this to be true. Pains me sometimes to
know that we are not the favorite.
Speaker 2 (53:34):
You know, some people that listen to this show, their
favorite show is Kissed, but they come here maybe during
commercials or if Whinny's annoying them, and then you know,
they might listen to us for a little bit, and
it's almost like a mole situation, you know, it's almost
like a snitch.
Speaker 5 (53:49):
Yeah, but that's fine.
Speaker 8 (53:52):
You know.
Speaker 2 (53:52):
Earlier in the show, Fearn had mentioned that the bathroom
was like the men's bathroom was destroyed this morning, and
destroyed to the point of like there was poop on.
Speaker 5 (53:59):
The walls, like somebody on an accent.
Speaker 3 (54:02):
Yeah, so I said, listen, who do you think it is?
Because it's it's a six am situation.
Speaker 2 (54:05):
Not many people are here, I said, I can name
a few that I know that are here, Justin from
down the Halls here, Billy Costas here. And then that
kind of spun into us telling some stories like bathroom stories. Son,
you had mentioned that Justin uses the hall bathroom a lot.
I can I can sign that. I see him coming
out a lot and.
Speaker 5 (54:24):
He's on the floor. You know what, there's a toilet there, whatever,
just be on the floor.
Speaker 3 (54:27):
Yeah, he doesn't get zero respect for that to toilet.
Speaker 2 (54:30):
Four And you went to the bathroom once and there
was shavings. Somebody was like shaving a whole beard. Now
Billy Costa can say what he wants, but no other
man in this building carries a shaving kid around.
Speaker 3 (54:39):
I have seen it that that's that. I I'm not
in the men's bathroom.
Speaker 5 (54:43):
So I don't know, but I've then seen him and
he does it a couple of times a week because
he goes in films like a TV show. So I
get it, clean up, shaves the beard.
Speaker 3 (54:51):
Yeah, that's all I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (54:53):
So the moles came and they heard that conversation and
they headed to kiss one. Await, it's talkbacks justin like
se utilize those a lot during the show. And we
started hearing this on their show.
Speaker 13 (55:07):
Justin you know, we're here to tattletale on Jammin. I
flipped in a commercial. They just called you grow test
and said that you clawed the toilet in the office
and that your good past Santi said it, and then
Billy Santi said that he caught you shaving in the bathroom.
Please tell me say isn't true. He said, you shave
in the bathroom multiple times a week and leave the
hair all over the sink and it's gross, and that
(55:29):
y'all have no respect for the bathroom.
Speaker 8 (55:30):
Was there.
Speaker 3 (55:32):
I'm gonna need that. I'm gonna need her to google
a little. Kim's upsetting.
Speaker 5 (55:37):
Upsetting.
Speaker 12 (55:38):
That wasn't it, hi, guys.
Speaker 6 (55:40):
I thought i'd let you found it. The radio station
down the hall jamming is talking a lot of about
you guys.
Speaker 12 (55:49):
The rope paths.
Speaker 3 (55:50):
They are saying, Justin and Billy.
Speaker 6 (55:52):
Destroy the bathroom there in the morning. I thought, I
have your back, like you know, love you guys.
Speaker 3 (56:01):
Absolutely no one used the word destroy.
Speaker 2 (56:04):
See this is the game of telephone because no one
used the word destroyed. But I told Justin, who's who's
in the studio right now? I said, you got to
come down here. Because then they took offense to it,
so they started telling stories about you, son, and I
gotta say, low hanging fruit, like the story that they
thought was really gonna beat you down is laughable. I'm
gonna let justin tell it because he really thought he
(56:25):
was getting one one over with you. Go ahead, tell
everybody what story you told on kiss.
Speaker 17 (56:28):
Thank you for giving me this time. I appreciate that.
I have two issues with this. The first one is
I do not do number two in the building. Ask
me why, because Santi was the one that hired me
as an intern here. In one of my first first
week of being an intern, he shamed me because he
caught me going woop in the radio station. It was
(56:50):
so traumatic, so traumatic that I now hold.
Speaker 3 (56:54):
It wow from until wow okay wow, which.
Speaker 17 (57:03):
And number two is the word grotesque that I take
issue with, okay, because Santy is the one that years ago,
on a challenge bet walked into the men's room, got
on his knees and licked the bathroom floor in front
of the male urinal five.
Speaker 3 (57:22):
He there was no clean Yes he did.
Speaker 5 (57:24):
He let me tell the story. So there was some
p there and there was some bunch of other stuff.
So this went around the building. So we were talking
about this, so I said I would do it for
five hundred bucks cash. Once I got the cash, I
did it. And I know there's a video someplace in
the atmosphere of me doing this, So that is very true.
Speaker 2 (57:44):
Yeah, I feel like that one's not that bad just
because people would do a lot worse for five hundred protest.
Speaker 3 (57:53):
It is protest.
Speaker 5 (57:54):
I will give you that.
Speaker 3 (57:56):
I just think we should.
Speaker 2 (57:57):
I need you to be honest with your show is
not here. They do not know that we are having
this conversation. You don't want to dance with us, and
you know that.
Speaker 5 (58:06):
Well, it started as a fun, fun and you guys
just took this to a mean level. You guys.
Speaker 1 (58:15):
Bullies.
Speaker 3 (58:16):
He knows the answer.
Speaker 5 (58:17):
He doesn't. He doesn't.
Speaker 3 (58:18):
He doesn't want the beef with us. He doesn't want
the smoke. He wants it to be over. He wants
it to be fun.
Speaker 17 (58:22):
No, you were bragging on the radio about being number
one on the preset feature for jamming, that's all. And
then people called in and said, hey, you're telling us
to you know, to leave it to get your preset,
but they're number one down the hall.
Speaker 2 (58:34):
Okay, he just he said, I was bragging, right, Come here, son,
I just want you to read this. This is a text,
a receipt from Justin to me, which is what I
said on air. But I'm bragging.
Speaker 3 (58:47):
But this is a text he sent. Go ahead, we
read that. Read those those first three.
Speaker 5 (58:53):
The first three texts, you'll love this one and the
kiss meeting today about kiss and then Dylan Can's bringing
up jamming and how good you guys zero actually number
one for a month winning eighteen to thirty four jamming,
crushing it on the p set and jam and crushing
it three minute thing.
Speaker 4 (59:12):
So he's one of those that's like like like hides
his hand type of vibe. Right, he says it behind
your back and then.
Speaker 3 (59:18):
Am I ragging? Or am I verbatim reading what he's say?
Speaker 8 (59:21):
Is that fragging?
Speaker 3 (59:22):
And by the way, you guys, so that's not even
my style. I was saying it to say, thanks to
you guys. We're doing well in the presets.
Speaker 4 (59:30):
But we were dead last. We were deadline and we
actually the laws and y'all came through and y'all showed love.
Speaker 3 (59:36):
We were losing.
Speaker 5 (59:37):
Thank you losing. It sounds like you were just reporting
the fact that were sent to you. So I don't
even know what the issue is.
Speaker 3 (59:42):
He left, He.
Speaker 5 (59:43):
Left, and the you know, he can't stand the heat.
Speaker 2 (59:46):
Can't take the heat, get out of the horror kitchen
A lot, Daddy, and the.
Speaker 1 (59:52):
Jam In Morning Show with d J four and it's
Satyrning Bustin's.
Speaker 7 (59:57):
Number one for hip hop jamm In ninety four or five.
Speaker 2 (01:00:01):
All right, babes, that is going to do it for us.
I just want to say we love kiss one of
ways we have. There's really it's it's really all out
of our family. Yeah, no, they really are.
Speaker 3 (01:00:10):
Listen. Might they do some things in the bathroom. Yeah,
but everybody's human here.
Speaker 5 (01:00:14):
Yeah, it's fine, Like take a joke, guy, body does
take a shape, not us, none of that.
Speaker 2 (01:00:21):
No, but seriously, so many it's hilarious. We were running
through other talkbacks that they got, just people.
Speaker 3 (01:00:28):
Like you guys come to us just to hear we
have to say that to go snitch. But I think
it's yeah, but I think.
Speaker 2 (01:00:34):
It's like, by the way, our people that are like
we're their number one are leaving messages like.
Speaker 5 (01:00:39):
Who are these people? We love it.
Speaker 3 (01:00:42):
We love a good back and forth. It's so fun.
Speaker 5 (01:00:44):
Yeah, but I don't think they really do. In order
they understand the hell that we could drop on them.
Speaker 3 (01:00:48):
Justin would do it all day.
Speaker 8 (01:00:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:00:50):
I don't think anybody they can't handle.
Speaker 3 (01:00:52):
They don't want it.
Speaker 18 (01:00:52):
We would ruin days and we actually like legit, yeah
we would days weeks, but we but we really do
love them for reals that I think people want there
to be a real radio beef.
Speaker 2 (01:01:03):
Now there has been in time. There was a time
period of time where I wasn't even allowed down that
that way, and that had nothing to do with them,
but things have changed.
Speaker 3 (01:01:12):
We love them. Those are our people.
Speaker 5 (01:01:14):
Yeah, So my shout out, I guess is to the
Billy and least some morning show, great crew.
Speaker 2 (01:01:19):
Of people, Like if we keep this up, we'll never
be invited to Milton and we'll never get on Billy's boat.
Speaker 1 (01:01:24):
So stop.
Speaker 5 (01:01:24):
We haven't been invited yet, So.
Speaker 2 (01:01:27):
When is like this the summer is coming, I would
love to be invited on Billy Costa's boat.
Speaker 3 (01:01:32):
He invites his show What's Up?
Speaker 5 (01:01:33):
But could you imagine the time that he does invite us,
the boat actually sinks, Like imagine how.
Speaker 1 (01:01:40):
And is it?
Speaker 5 (01:01:41):
I spurred dead ahead?
Speaker 3 (01:01:47):
