Tell her I se congratulations and thank you for uh,
you know, because I lose sleep over these things. You
guys call me, you tell me these stories. I feel
invested with your life, and then I never hear back.
So thank you for that.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
All right, thank you, fun, Thank you. Have a good day.

Speaker 5 (01:55):
Didn't want to say about the major party school.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
Her daughter is going to have a blasting horridable.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Keith is in Brockton. Hi, Keith, good morning.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
Hey, how's it going, Keith?

Speaker 2 (02:07):
So you have listen. I'm married to a VET. I
love the Vets. I thank all the Vets for their service.
And I guess you have an important event coming up
that's for the veterans.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Yes, so we have it's kind of like a dual event.
And what it is is it's going to take place
at the American FOI Legion in Abington on Washington Street.
And what it is is we're combined with Reefs Across America,
which is an organization that puts reads on the tombstones

(02:40):
of veterans every Christmas. Now, when you go and you
donate toward reats across America, how do your proceeds goes
towards I G y Fax Which is a free event
this Friday night in Abington. And what we do is
is that we take dogs from kill shelters and save
those dogs, train those dogs, and then we present those

(03:03):
dogs the first responders or veterans who are suffering from PTSD. Now,
this is a very emotional event. It's free to the public.
We have is we present a veteran with a puppy
or a dog that's been trained. And then what we
do is we hear from the veteran the year before
who receive the dog to see how that dog has

(03:23):
changed their lives. So we've seen some emotional stories where
we've had some veterans who have been at the verge
of suicide, which we know is twenty two a day,
and those veterans come in and give these tearful, emotional
stories of how these dogs have really changed your lives.
So this is a free event with a ton of raffles.
So what you do as you come in as a
free event and enjoy a d day music, food, and

(03:45):
then you buy your raffles and those raffles go for
it's raising money to help, you know, train these dogs,
so we can present these veterans with something that can
you know, at the end of the day, change their lives.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
I love that we don't get calls like this off
and Keith give me the radio version story that sticks
out to you so much so that you were like,
I'm gonna call the radio station and try to get
people at this event. One story that stuck out where
you were like, this is why we do this.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
So my friend Amber, her father was a veteran, and
we had a guy two years ago. He came back
from doing two deployments. He suffered an injury over in
the Middle East, and you know, he lost his wife,
he couldn't keep a job. He ended up getting presented
with this dog and he had this dog and This

(04:38):
dog was with him for about a year and a half,
but things didn't get better for this gentleman, and this
gentleman almost took his life. But at that moment, his
lowest point of his moment, the dog came and the
dog stayed with him. The dog didn't leave his side.
The dog gave him purpose and that dog literally his life.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Well, I'm not crying, for the love of God. Can't
be crying at Disney Keith. It's seven thirty five in
the morning. But I did ask the question. I love
it all right, So one more time? Where is the event?
And actually, let's do this. Give me like a website
or something that people can go to to get all
the information for this event.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
Yeah, so the best thing to do is look for
ig Y six. I got your six on Facebook, Instagram
because they do a lot of stuff through social media
because that's where they finally get the most traffic.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
So are you ig.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
Y six on Facebook? And then you can put in
match fourteenth is the event and all the information will
come up and you want to reach out if you
want to get involved or try to find out how
to donate, or if you want to help at this event,
you can reach out to Amber Smith or Travis Parkington
of Austin Mike Radio, who handles the reefs across America
where they put the reefs on the veterans reach Keith.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
Are you a vet?

Speaker 1 (05:59):
No, I'm not. No, I'm just a civilian trying to
do my parts.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
I love that.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
That's yeah, seriously, Keith making us all look bad this morning.
Thank you so much for the call, Keith, and hopefully
we can get some people at the event.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
All right, let's continue on with the check in. I
love the beets. By the way, thank you for reserves.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Six one seven nine three one one nine four five
six one seven nine three one one nine four five.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
It's a step up like we're good like live. They're
in Medford, we are in Orlando.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
The power of radio, the power of like the seventy
five thousand it people that are. Here's a lot of
people moving around making sure that we can do this
and we can be live here from Disney.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
It's pretty amazing. Uh, we're doing the check in right now.
Six one seven nine three one one nine four five
six one seven nine three one one nine four five.
You call me.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
We're talking about anything you want, whatever's going on in
your world.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
Zu Lee is in Hyde Park. This is a double whammy, babe.
Today's your birthday, first and foremost happy birthday?

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Yes, thank you? How old?

Speaker 3 (07:29):
How old are we talking?

Speaker 2 (07:32):
I am very fine, honey?

Speaker 3 (07:36):
Thirty five? Ohay, listen. I loved my thirties, I really did.
I have no.

Speaker 5 (07:42):
Baking like you're gone. You're still in your thirties.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
True, I know, I know, thirty eight. I'm thirty eight.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Sometimes I forget, but I think not that your birthday
is not important, but more importantly, you're with child seven
months pregnant today.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
Yes, it is. It's crazy because I have two grown
ass kids already and I'm starting all over.

Speaker 5 (08:09):
Well.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
You know what Santa's wife said to me yesterday, Zulie.
She saw me like trying to, you know, tend to
Layla and the potty training and doing all the things,
and she looks at me and.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
She goes, I remember the times, and I love the
we had the babies. But I do not envy you
because I'm in the thick of it.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
She saw it. That's gonna be you. You're hey, You're
back to change in diapers. Honey.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Listen. I see you all the time. I follow you
on Instagram, and I'm just like, oh my god, that's
gonna be me.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
Yeah, but you know what, at the end of the day,
this baby has literally brought like another light to life.
And you know, in the.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Beginning, but kind of hard, but definitely you know, I'm
feeling it though I'm feeling I'm like, I'm thirty, fine,
my bone's hurt sometimes if you's raining, and I'm just like, oh.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
My god, what is it?

Speaker 2 (08:57):
I know, you know, I don't know if your doctor
has told you that, but our pregnancies are considered geriatric
at our age, which is hilarious, Like we're.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
No, it's not. But it's like you're younger.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Listen, You're younger than I was when I had Leila.
So it's gonna be fine, it's gonna be amazing. You're
you're getting ready for the tough part. Because you know,
at the end you just want the baby to come.
What's the exact du date?

Speaker 1 (09:21):
Memorial weekend?

Speaker 3 (09:24):
Wow? Did you say boy or girl?

Speaker 1 (09:26):
Yeah? Girl?

Speaker 3 (09:28):
Another girl? Do we name her already?

Speaker 1 (09:30):
Yeah, but I can't.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
I don't, don't, don't. It's don't say the name, do not.

Speaker 5 (09:37):
No.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
I listen.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
My good friend right here told me once, do not
tell a single soul the name because they will judge you,
and they will tell you.

Speaker 3 (09:44):
Yeah, like I have.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
I have trouble with the name Vicky because I knew
a Vicky in high school and Vicky knew a lot
of men. Yeah, So like we all have our own
things with names, So I get it.

Speaker 3 (09:56):
Baby.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
Congratulations, happy birthday, had the best day ever. I hope
you're spoiled.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Thank you, appreciate it, have a good way.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
You're welcome. Thanks for calling.

Speaker 5 (10:04):
Yeah, it's a tough thing.

Speaker 6 (10:05):
They get back into the mindset because once you're mentally
out of it, then you're dumb.

Speaker 5 (10:09):
But then you get thrown back in. It's tough.

Speaker 3 (10:11):
It is tough. I also like, naming a kid is
really hard.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Yeah, and I don't think people think about it because
if you don't have a kid, why would you ever
but it's a lot of pressure.

Speaker 6 (10:23):
It is, And I also go to the thing of like,
what's it going to be? Like you need to give
them something that they won't get teased about. Like when
I was young, I was called santy Claus all the time.

Speaker 4 (10:32):
But you see, I think it's tight end for us
because we're on radio and we kind of see these things.
If you're just a parent who works at regular nine
to five, you're not really thinking, Ay, if I call them.

Speaker 3 (10:41):
You're like, this is little Joe.

Speaker 4 (10:42):
I love the name. I'm not thinking like ten years
down the line, like they're gonna stop being teased on
radio when they call a radio station to talk about
their life.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
You feel me, you know what? And that's true.

Speaker 5 (10:52):
We deserve it.

Speaker 3 (10:53):
We deserve it because we talk, we talk bad about
everybody else.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
Yeah, I gotta believe there's I actually remember when I
post did that Daisy's name was Daisy.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
Some chick comments and she goes the hell with a question.

Speaker 5 (11:05):
And that's the thing.

Speaker 6 (11:05):
That's how you never tell because before people are like, oh,
I don't like that, and then you start thinking of
about it.

Speaker 5 (11:10):
But it's like forget everybody.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
Yeah, I mean, because at the end of the day
we all chose the names that we chose because of something,
whatever that is.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
We we had a we had a thing.

Speaker 5 (11:20):
Yeah did you?

Speaker 2 (11:21):
And the mother of your children, who we love so dearly,
have stories behind the names.

Speaker 4 (11:27):
Jordan, my youngest, was named after Michael just because I'm
a big basketball and Michael Jordan, Well.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
Then that man's got some big shoes to feel greatness.

Speaker 4 (11:34):
Yeah yeah, yeah, but he's doing this thing. And then
ian Ian's name came up because she had one name
that I disagreed with completely. I'm not gonna say it
on air, and I was like, let me say it.
Let's let's call him Ian. But then we even spelt
his name different, so it's not the regular I A
and it's e I A.

Speaker 5 (11:48):
You know what I mean to give it now.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
Because when people like, imagine a substitute teacher seeing E
A N, he's probably like eon.

Speaker 4 (11:55):
They give it a little French twist, a little bit.

Speaker 5 (12:00):
Yarn is a yarn, It's Ian.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
