3 Animators take a comedic and critical look at some of the art forms less than awesome films.
All good things must come to an end. It would seem the same is true of junk.
We go out with a bang though! 'Cause it doesn't get weirder than Strawinsky, whose full name ...
Better late than never I always say. See? 'Cause both our episode was late, and the movie got a pushed back release date! Didn't notice? Doesn't matter.
Elton John has helped make another animated movie about gnomes! This time it's a mystery! (I'm just assuming the first one was a love story; didn't see it) And just lik...
Didya Know?! Eugene Levy and Fred Willard are different people! They were both in 'Best in Show' with Catherine O'Hara though.
Oh, I'm sorry. Was there a movie going on here?
We review Chicken Little.
Our Omni Mic audio adventure continues. I guess the theme month this time is movies that have incidental Brad Bird involvement. Who woulda guessed?
We Review Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland aka Little Nemo aka Nemo.
After years of waiting, it's finally thematically appropriate to review Animalympics. Even though this is probably the third Olympics that has come around since the podcast started.
Word to the wise: Don't take history lessons from animators. Or, for that matter, sports advice. Don't even ever listen to us, for God's sake.
...Sorry Guys! Seth's computer did something weird and now our audio sounds like we recorded it on a Sega Genesis. We aren't gonna subject you to two hours of that though, so this is just an apology file.
We are gonna try and repair the audio, but as you can hear in this episode, it's pretty ear shattering, ...
Gotta be the longest, most convoluted movie title we've had so far. Which is fitting cause this episode is all over the place.
The only good news is we didn't have to watch the first one.
We Review Happily N'Ever After 2: Snow White - Another Bite @ the Apple.
What a way to start the new year. I guess there's nowhere to go ... but UP!
This episode ends up discussing sensitive topics like Bill Cosby and other sexual assault allegations. Just a fair warning if you don't want to have to deal with that. The episode isn't good enough to try ...
We're almost out of the woods this Christmas and the final obstacle is Gummibär (Gummy Bear, but with an umlaut, get it?) The Yummy Gummy Search for Santa.
The box is full of false claims, but at least it's upfront about its hideous star and the fact that aliens appear in this 'fi...
The endless Christmas begins again on the Cartoon Lampoon Podcast. The 8th or 9th or 10th Christmas we've celebrated in the 4 years we've been doing it. Gotta be close to the 5th Rankin/Bass movie we've done, maybe the 4th Santa Origin Story.
Can you believe we haven't even mad...
This has gotta be the worst thing that Harvey Weinstein's ever done right? Without checking the news of the past couple months or paying attention to anything any female celebrity has ever said, or just looking at Harvey Weinstein, I'm going to assume this i...
The lowest grossing computer animated film of all time finally makes it to the Cartoon Lampoon Podcast.
If only it was notable in any other conceivable way.
What a mess.
We review Delgo with our opinions.
We take a nice easy stroll through one of the newest Scooby-Doo! movies to end our 3rd Season and do an end of season recap of some of the best and worst movies of the year.
We also chit-chat about a few other Halloween specials you can look forward to/dread thi...
This movie is tactless and easily the worst thing we've ever seen. I know we say that a lot but this time we mean it. We didn't even get halfway through it before just skipping to the end credits.
So to make up for the lack of movie discussion we have an animation career discussion about 47 minutes in...
That's the image Wikipedia has as the main movie poster image. Its oddly cropped, it has a banner only on the top, and then an overly detailed background image that is bottom left justified for some reason.
Then Richard Williams picked one of his forty titles for the film, slapped it on there, put the Tiny Toon Adve...
I'm just gonna let you all know now, this episode should really be called 'Basics of Animation' and 'History of Flash' because we talk about that a Hell of a lot more than we talk about the movie itself.
One of the worst things we've seen on the show if not truly the very bottom of what animation as an art form has to o...
Welp. It's Party Time.
I'm not sure anything more than that needs to be said about this infamously bad, tone-deaf animated flop. Which, if nothing else, serves to remind us which side of WW2 Italy was on.
We Review Titanic: The Legend Goes On
This episode is alternatively titled " 2 Hours of Crosstalk"
Spoilers for the episode: We hated this.
This was not fun. Talking about it was almost fun. Seeing it was maybe the least fun there ever was.
We review The Emoji Movie. Leave.
Don't let that image fool you. This film is something else.
A nightmarish Hellscape to be specific; from the far off land of Bulgaria made in 1982. Which is JUST in time to create doubts about where Disney got their idea for a space themed Treasure Island. But which one comes out ...
This movie is 90 percent less Christmasy than that image would have you believe. There is no Santa Helpers, only half a minute of Santa, no candy canes, no Christmas lights, no gingerbread cottage. There's plenty of gross CGI animation though.
We review The Flight Before Christmas
