AI is everywhere! There is so much talk about Artificial Intelligence (AI). The conversations range from “we’ve hit the Jackpot,” to expressing sheer terror of saying, “this is the end of life as we know it.” However, there is an area I have not heard much mainstream conversation about, such as the Divine purpose of technology. What does God have to say about technology, specifically AI, and how we as believers in God through Jesus Christ are to navigate this new technological era? Hi, I'm LaDonna Slade, your host for Faith and AI: Clear Steps to Use AI with Biblical Wisdom. I've spent over 20 years in the technology industry helping teams embrace technology without fear, integrate wisdom, and foster meaningful connections. When I started exploring and using AI, I felt both excited and cautious. I also began hearing questions like, "As a Christian, should we use AI?" and “If I use it, will I be replacing God in my life?” Now, I get where the question was coming from, especially when using a tool like AI. The temptation is real to make up your own "righteous" paths for the sake of remaining relevant, productive, and making money. However, that is not a reason to dismiss it altogether, nor is it a reason to embrace without question. Something else, the undeniable appeal of AI lies in its speed, efficiency, and the economic benefits it offers. Do you feel torn between getting more done by using AI and staying rooted in Scripture? You’re not alone. Many Christians want the benefits of AI but fear crossing ethical lines or losing their authentic voice. In this podcast, you'll find clarity, confidence, and a sound plan to guardrail your engagement with technology without sacrificing your soul (Mark 8:36 – What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul?). We can ask the same question today. “What will it profit us if we gain all of the advantages of using Artificial Intelligence and lose our faith in God?” I’ll keep things simple, biblically grounded, practical, and actionable. You can expect insightful discussions, amazing interviews, exciting guests and more. Together, we’ll swap anxiety for discernment and trade fear for courage, reminding us that God is present wherever we go. So grab your Bible, pen, paper, and your good listening ear. Let’s go honor God by leaving the AI in Faith.
