God’s B Team

God’s B Team

Welcome to God’s B Team—the podcast for anyone who’s noticed the world seems to be running on upside-down settings while the A Team is… well, doing whatever it is the A Team does. So here we are: the backups, the benchwarmers, the folks God taps when the main crew clearly isn’t reading the playbook. We take an honest, curious, sometimes sideways look at faith and how it actually shows up in our daily lives. We dig into Scripture, question the usual interpretations, and explore the big, weird, wonderful ways it all ties into our existence. If you’ve ever felt like there must be more going on behind the scenes—or that the ‘official’ version of things could use a second opinion—you’re among friends. We're not the A Team, but at least we're off the bench.

In this episode we chase down the strange story of the snake on the pole in the wilderness and why a similar symbol still represents medicine today. Along the way we talk about our habit of worshiping solutions instead of the Creator, our questionable love affair with bacon, and why humans think adjusting the weather is a good idea. It wanders a bit—but so do we.

In this episode, we explore the role of ego—whether it’s something to embrace, surrender, or hold in balance. We unpack the difference between living as a son versus a slave, where true confidence comes from, and how our posture before God shapes the way we see ourselves and others. It’s an honest conversation about identity, humility, and the kind of confidence that comes from knowing who you are.

A deep dive into law, grace, and the God behind both. This podcast explores what the law actually is, why it’s rooted in the very nature of God, how Jesus fulfilled it, and what grace truly means (hint: it ain't a free pass). Expect theology and a little bit of a different look at things as we try to figure it all out.

Expect honest conversations, a little biblical insight, a little tension and a little humor as we workout what it means to work together in real time.

In this episode, we dive into men’s and women’s hormones, the ripple effects of birth control, and the environmental endocrine disruptors quietly reshaping our biology. We unpack the unintended hormonal aftermath of the Western “suppress and prescribe” approach—and explore what real restoration could look like. Do we have the answers? Not really. But we're pretty sure what not to do.

Blood pressure meds, people pressure, and that Karen. This episode unpacks hypertension medications, and why we exhaust ourselves trying to win approval from people who don’t share our values.  Less people-pleasing, more clarity, and a healthier pulse—literally and figuratively.

This episode explores the Temple not as ancient architecture, but as a living bod, your body. From sacred blueprints that mirror human design to the daily “sacrifices” we still make (knowingly or not), we unpack why it’s time to stop thinking symbolically and start living practically. A shift in vision changes everything.

This podcast reflects on America’s foundation of faith in God, how those roots shaped the nation, and where we’ve drifted over time. Through honest conversation and historical perspective, we explore what’s been lost, what still matters, and why an active, thoughtful return to our original purpose starts with people willing to engage—not just observe.
