The second half of most Sunday morning services at St. John in Mars is called the "liturgy of the Eucharist," the work of the people surrounding the celebration and reception of the gift of Holy Communion. This part of the service is a mix of ancient tradition and context-based elements. Join Pastor Katie as she walks through this part of the worship service in what is likely to be the last episode of the Worship 101 series.

Jesus used a lot of parables to describe the kingdom or reign of heaven, bringing this mystery of God's presence and power into the hands of the people. What would you use to describe the glimpses of God's reign you see in today's world?

St. John Lutheran Church has been a congregation in Mars, PA since 1897. As you can imagine, there have been a lot of changes over the years, but there have also been some things that have remained constant in the identity of the congregation. Hear some of the stories of the history of the congregation and how these stories shape the values of the congregation and the way St. John worships together.
Who does God call? God calls you! But you are not called to be perfect, you are called to trust, to follow, and to walk the road with Jesus.
