Talanoa Ako Topic Week 4 | Wellbeing & Hauora (Attendance) You child’s wellbeing – establish routines and expectations, talk about emotions, join your child in play. We need parents to help us get their children to prioritize learning and come to school regularly in the coming year. Each day is a day full of opportunities to learn, develop their skills, and create fun memories with their friends and teachers. We know that over the past few years, school attendance has been an area of particular focus. All children under 16 years of age must be at school every day unless they are sick. Children must be in school every day to set them for life in terms of career options, a sense of purpose and belonging and lifelong friendships. To ensure our Pacific communities stay informed and connected, information is available in 7 Pacific languages, Cook Islands Māori, Fijian, Niuean, Samoan, Tokelauan, Tongan and Tuvaluan — as well as English. now available for streaming on Spotify, iHeartRadio, and the 531pi YouTube channel.
