A theologian who's done the reading, following the Jesus Way through the hardest questions facing Christians and the world, with depth, honesty, and hope. I'm Graham Joseph Hill, and I research and write every episode myself, then think it through with you the way two people might talk across a kitchen table. These are long-form, deeply researched explorations of faith, justice, spirituality, culture, and the global church. You won't always land where I land, and that's the point. On each topic, I'll lay out the strongest case on every side, go deep into what the Bible and the Christian tradition actually say, draw in history, philosophy, science, and sociology, and ask what it all means for how we live now. Every episode ends where I believe the gospel leads: in hope. And I close each one by recommending three books that have shaped my thinking, in case you want to go further. We take on the questions people are genuinely wrestling with. Faith and honest doubt. Anxiety, grief, burnout, and the care of the soul. The global church, and what Majority World Christians can teach the West. Following Jesus in a post-Christian Australia. Power, gender, sexuality, and who gets to lead. Technology and the shape of the human person. Justice for refugees, the poor, the imprisoned, and the land. Science and the case for God. Politics when the nation pulls the church sideways. Indigenous justice and reconciliation. And the slow, steady work of prayer and formation. No topic is off limits. If you're looking for Christianity engaged with mind and heart together, thoughtful, fair to the people it disagrees with, grounded in Scripture, honest about the hardest things, and alive to the present moment, you'll be at home here.
