I love the examples God gives us in Scripture.

They offer a roadmap for us, so we can stay encouraged and on course.

God used Joseph, Moses, David and Paul to minister to me.

God did not expect perfection from them, only the next step of obedience as He continued to reveal their path.

He does the same for us.

It is so important that we learn to be content with loneliness.

If we don't learn this skill, our relationships will suffer, our ministry will suffer, and our walk with God will suffer.

Even in the best relationships, there is still a hunger in the soul only Christ can fill.

We can be surrounded by people that genuinely love and care for us and still be lonely.

And sometimes, we truly are alone.

No one can meet the intricate needs ...

It is easy to lose sight of who our God is when the world seems so out of control.

But God hasn't changed. God is alive and working in this world.

The devil may think he is winning, but you and I have a Light and message that he can never dim!! Amen!

Sometimes we designate a trial in our life as a time to be “off duty” from being a light for Christ. Suddenly, we seem to have blinders on and all we can see is how our trial is affecting US. 

But if we can view our trials through God's lens, many blessings surface.

We lose many blessings when we isolate our interactions and trials to only be about us.
