The contractors prepare for Gozan no Okuribi, or Daimonji, a mid-August festival where the mountains surrounding Kyoto are lit in the night by bonfires--all to prepare themselves for the next round of yokai to appear. What will they encounter this time?

After resting up for a week, the Contractors get back to work hunting the yokai of legend. Hitting the books, and visiting former sites of wanton destruction. 

Following their blessing from Amaterasu, this week our Arisaka contractors find themselves pitted against the Tsukumogami, or Yokai of the Tool. And find themselves in a bit of an existential quandary as a result..

The contractors live! And they made money and experience (somehow). They leave the hospital, somewhat put back together and visit a local shrine hoping to gain the blessings they need to fight yokai.

In their battle against The Great Oni of Legend, Shuten Doji, and perhaps the most famous Onryo, Emperor Sutoku Tenno, the contractors are nearly outnumbered when a third, blue unnamed Oni enters the field on a cyberbike. But they find relief in the storm as Cloe's voice comes over the comms, announcing that reinforcements have arrived..

The Arisaka Contractors push back against the first of the the Nihon san dai aku yokai, or Three Great Evil Yokai of Japan, and thinking they have him on the ropes find more than they bargained with when a second arrives on the scene.
