Agape Love is a podcast about the extraordinary, unconditional love parents have for their children with disabilities and neurodivergence—and the strength, grief, joy, resilience, and community that grow from that love. Agape Love isn't a podcast about autism. It's a podcast about the parents who love children with disabilities with a kind of love that has no conditions and no expiration date. Who needs to hear this? This podcast is for the mother who just heard the words, “Your child has autism,” and has no idea what tomorrow looks like. It’s for the mother whose child wandered away from home and was found in a dangerous situation—and who still replays those terrifying moments in her mind. It’s for the mother who feels like no one in her family truly understands what life is like inside her home. It’s for the mother carrying guilt because one child needs so much of her that her other children receive what’s left. It’s for the mother who wishes co-parenting looked different—who longs for someone else to understand, advocate, and share the weight of this journey. It’s for the mother who hasn’t slept through the night in years because her child doesn’t sleep. It’s for the mother who constantly thinks three steps ahead because safety is never something she can take for granted. It’s for the mother who dreams about self-care but can’t imagine finding the time, the support, or the resources to make it possible.
