Marketta Stepp serves as the Director of our Family Care Ministry that helps mothers and children who have been displaced due homelessness and/or domestic violence.
Hurricane Helene hit in late September and in this issue Baxley Campus Administrator Michael Shumans relates the experience of the hurricane as it hit the area and the damage. He also mentions the staff, local volunteers, associations and churches that help to ge the campus back in shape.
Our Baxley Campus spotlight continues in this issue as we meet long time employee Stephen Bene. He talks about his time with the Children's Home and his position as Associate Chaplain/Development Specialist at Baxley.
Helen Arnold is the Director of Foster Care at GBCH&FM. She shares how the program operates and how you can become a Foster Parent or be a part of a Foster Care Ministry.

It's always good to hear from alumni of the Children's Home. In this episode of Hope and a Home Podcast we talk with William Blanchard who grew up in the 1930's on the Hapeville Campus. Now in his 90's he recently stopped by for a visit where he was able to relive some of his memories through pictures and the archives of our museum and the Prayer Garden behind the Archway on our Palmetto Campus.
