(00:22):
up the best, you got the best, honey morning.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
No in the world.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
That's Billy with the why and you with.
Speaker 1 (00:37):
Us Ah, And it is Monday, and I feel like
we're meunching a little bit.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
Well, it's funny you say that, because we've got like
I don't know if it's an Alberta clipper, but we're
gonna have someperatures Hi today in the twenties, so like, yeah,
today and tomorrow are gonna be like bitterly cold, and
then we'll start to warm up a little bit again
as we head into the weekend.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
So be careful.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
If there's still wet ground, you could get black eyes,
then I would think, sure.
Speaker 3 (01:04):
Of course you could. Yeah, my driveway does not face
the sun, So my driveway looks so like a frozen tundra.
And then across the street where they get the sun,
it's just beautiful concrete. Everything looks fantastic. Anyway, Hey, that
actually kind of ties in with our show today because
we're talking Judy about beating the winter blues. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
Sometimes you get you know, the Sunday blues I call them.
And when it's winter, it gets the winter blues.
Speaker 3 (01:27):
Yeah. Uh. And you know, the holidays over now friends,
family have gone back home. You kind of hunker down
for the next few months until spring finally gets here.
So what do you do to beat the winter blues?
We're gonna do some sharing on the show this morning.
We're also going to share with you nine more nationwide keywords.
Speaker 1 (01:43):
That's right, The thousand dollars Payday is back today and
at nine o'clock you're gonna get your very first keyword
and we'll give it to you.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
And what you'll do is enter it at Kaylou dot
com and.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
Then we'll flip the script. Just the opposite of that,
the chance to win absolutely nothing this week other than
bragging rights. I do come prepared with a question so
difficulty can't even Google the answer, hence.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
Whitez called the Google Buster.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
We do that just about seven forty istion, then I
have my revenge question at eight forty and.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
Some tea to spill this morning. I would assume.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
How because the wolf Boon is peaking doing.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
What that means. But we're going to find out right
after we get you the news you need for this Monday,
January third. The death toll from the devastating wildfires ravaging
Los Angeles accounting has risen now to twenty four. The
identification process had challenged due to the severe fire damage,
hindering traditional methods. Only one victim, sixty six year old
Victor Shaw, has been publicly identified. He peris while attempting
(02:35):
to defend his family home. Thousands of structures have been destroyed.
The fires continue to post significant dangers as well to
first responders. These Supreme Courts on Friday appeared likely to
uphold a law that would effectively ban social media platform
TikTok in the United States. The nine justices on the
conservative majority court heard oral arguments from lawyers for TikTok,
(02:57):
some of its users, the Biden administration, as well. With
the preliminary decision, they say likely to happen within the
next few days. Now we spill a team with Judd.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
NASA says the.
Speaker 1 (03:08):
Wolf Moon, the first full moon of twenty twenty five,
will be at its peak tonight four twenty seven hour time,
hopefully won't be.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
Cloudy and you'll be able to see it.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
Its name originates from the Main Farmers Almanac, which published
Native American names for each full moon, and it apparently
NASA says it came from packs of wolves heard howling
outside the villages amid the cold and deep snose of winter.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
By the way, do you have a nice weekend, Judy?
Speaker 2 (03:34):
I did.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
It was a little emotional roller coaster because my family
all lives in California, southern California, so they were going
back and forth between evacuation houses.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
Oh my gosh, So you've been staying in contact with
them on the phone or has that even been possible?
Speaker 1 (03:49):
Yes, I have been. I told them to get on WhatsApp.
There was a small communication. I think it's mount whatever
it's called that has it.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
But yes, I did.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
And my niece ended up at my dad's house, which
is so crazy. What Everyone's safe.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
So if you don't know what Judy's talking about Judy
is from California. Are you from Los Angeles? Just outside
of Los Angeles La San Frenetta Valley. Yeah, so you've
got family there right now who has been obviously dealing
with these awful fires that just won't seem to stop.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
Yeah, it's crazy. And some guy was like blow torching
trash Canzama. People are crazy there.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
So someday I will have your family members on for
a podcast that I'm considering starting. Okay, here's my dilemma.
I can't find a name that hasn't already been taken
any like any name I come up with if I
google it, there's a podcast for that, So you have.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
To put something in front of it, like number one.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
So here's my question though, if someone has the name
of a pod, So, for example, what I would like
to do is a podcast that's called and that's how
it happened. Now I looked it up. Someone had you
that's how it happened. They haven't had a podcast on
there since twenty twenty one, but they took the name right,
that's my problem. So they're like sitting on it, but
(05:08):
they're not using it.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
So then you add something simple like so that's how
it happened.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
So that's how it happened. I just don't want it
to be confusing to be searched for it, because what
I thought was like the like the initial podcast, the
very first one, I get my mom on, I get
my brother on, and we talked about the day I
lost my leg and what my mom was going through.
And so that's how it happened because had people ask
me all the time, how did it happen? And then
(05:34):
you randomly get different people on with their stories of
something that happened. Could be something fantastic, could be something tragic.
So that's how it happened.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
I love it. Why aren't you doing it?
Speaker 3 (05:45):
So it's still in the early stages.
Speaker 1 (05:47):
Oh Billy, you're not supposed to tell people until it
actually happened.
Speaker 3 (05:51):
Well, anyway, that's what I'm working on today. Hey, so
that's what's going on in your world? Anything? No, wait,
that's what's going on in our world. Anything going on
in your world?
Speaker 1 (06:00):
When you know, you get the winter blues and what
do you do to survive that?
Speaker 3 (06:03):
And the interesting thing is I've lived a few different
places in my life. You have, as well as some
places where it snows, someplace where it doesn't snow. I've
lived up north where it's cloudy all the time, and
so yeah, so psychologically it can get depressing this time
of the year. So what do you do Survival tips
for making it through winter?
Speaker 1 (06:22):
Yeah, basically it's about putting in a good mood when
you get those.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
For me, it's January to be.
Speaker 4 (06:28):
In a bad mood.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
So what do you do then to survive the blues?
The winter blues?
Speaker 1 (06:32):
Well, for me, one of the things we talked about
the other day was comfort movies. But the other one
is I get back into doing crafting because it's a
creative thing, right and I you know, and especially in
January when there's not a ton going on. So I
get back to doing my painting and doing little crafting
and it makes me feel better.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
That's great. See, I don't have anything like that. I uh.
To survive the winter blues, I make the transition to wine.
Oh yhi. The summer time, it's all about the beer, margarita,
the beer and the barbecue, and in the winter time
it's the wine and the fireplace.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
And I like red wine or just red wine.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
I gotta be red wine. And there's just something that's
just soothing about it. I don't overdo it, you know
a problem. I don't think anyway. But I don't even
have to have the television on. I just like to
sit there with a glass of wine and look at
the fire and it just warms me up and it
kind of helps me unplugged.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
I love that. See that's a beautiful thing. And this
is this is what we're looking for. Things that help
your mood to survive that, the winter.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
Doldrums, surviving the winter blues. What do you do? We've
shared ours, Now it's your turn.
Speaker 1 (07:38):
All you gotta do is leave a message on the
free iHeartRadio app. There's a little red bike. It's called Talkback.
So our friends over a Live Nation have announced that
a fire aid benefit concert is set for the Into
It Dome in California. This is January thirty. It's to
help rebuild the community is impacted by the wildfires. The
planned concert is described as an evening of music and solidarity,
(08:01):
and the proceeds will help support displaced families. Performance, as
well as ticket information is set.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
To be announced in the coming days.
Speaker 1 (08:09):
And I promise you I will let you know who
those performers are and the times.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
Aame and Judy will be all over that rest assure
and that is the tea. We're doing some sharing on
this show today because it's just that time of the year.
You know, you get excited about the holidays, You've got
friends or family visiting, and then all of a sudden
they're gone, the decorations come down, and you're just kind
of there, and it can be a very depressing time
of the year. For me.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
It is definitely.
Speaker 1 (08:33):
It's almost like it's a it's called the leftdown winter leftdown,
and you can remember, we don't really have a lot
in January and February. We've got Valentine's Day, you know,
so that we got bills coming up, you got your
W two's coming in.
Speaker 3 (08:46):
Yeah, it can be depressing. So Judy says that she
does more crafting this time of the year.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
Yeah, because I feel like, first off, I love it,
I love painting, I love crafting, and I love that
I have a finished product.
Speaker 3 (08:58):
Yes, I like to finish all off a bottle of wine.
I make the transition from summertime it's all about beers
and barbecues and hanging out by the pool, and in
the winter time I transitioned to you know, a little
red wine fire in the fireplace. It's warm, it's cozy,
it's my it's my sort of sanctuary.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
I love that says, that's what we want to hear
because maybe it'll spark some.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
Things for us.
Speaker 3 (09:23):
By the way, on that note, we did get this
talk pack message.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
Good movies long walks outside and it's standing dead once
a week, so.
Speaker 3 (09:30):
The long out walks outside that can be a bit
of a challenge depending on the weather.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
Yes, if it's cold, no I'm not into that. But
if it's nice still and it's not too hot because
it's not.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
Summer perfect, well, you know what she said. Movies. I
would also add to that, I love to catch up
on all the documentaries that I haven't seen since I
was outside all summer long. I love a good documentary.
In fact, I just watched one yesterday and it was
about Jerry Springer.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
Oh really, yes, I would watch that.
Speaker 3 (09:58):
It was fascinating to see all the behind the scenes
and how and why all of their guests acted so
crazy and what they would do if they didn't act crazy.
It was fantastic.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
And I got to tell you, Billy's recommendations and documentaries
are great because I just watched the Michael J.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
Foxwell, which was.
Speaker 3 (10:14):
Fantastically fantastic one. Yeah, so what do you do to
survive the winter blues?
Speaker 1 (10:19):
All you got to do is again leave a message
on that free iHeartRadio app, the Red Bike.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
It's called Talkback.
Speaker 3 (10:25):
It's more of those messages in just a few minutes,
and a question so difficult you can't google the answer
Google Boster question in less than ten minutes. Judy, we
need to get an update on your sky Vibe report.
Speaker 1 (10:35):
Yes, this is something I do with a professional astrologer.
Speaker 2 (10:38):
It's free.
Speaker 1 (10:39):
It's on our brand new and improved iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 3 (10:42):
Nice. This is just a little snimmett, a little taste
of what you'll get there.
Speaker 4 (10:47):
What I've been seeing in the chart way that it
is lining up right now. Everything is connected and that
is hyper energy. So you'll have two planets in a
favorable and a challenging aspect connected to all the other planets.
Speaker 3 (11:00):
Wow, it's wild.
Speaker 4 (11:02):
I mean, well, you see how January of twenty twenty
five came in. Yeah, the challenging side emerged. A lot
of that is because I think the opposition between the
farthest out Pluto and one of the closest in Mars,
which is in retrograde, so it's moving back. And it's
been a troublemaker since the very beginning because the day
it went retrograde was when they shot that CEO of
(11:24):
United Healthcare in Manhattan. I mean, you can't make this
stuff up, folks. And that I think is the most
tense aspect in the sky, and offsetting that, we have
the most favorable aspect, which is called a mystic rectangle.
Just think we're rectangle on the chart, you know. We
have them offsetting each other, and both of the points
of all of that are all tied to each other.
(11:46):
So it's like crazy time right now.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
So explain that to me exactly what that means to you,
because I don't really understand any of that sort of stuff.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
That's why I do.
Speaker 1 (11:54):
This podcast so that people could understand.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
A little bit more.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
And basically, there's a lot going on in the sky
that it does affect us, believe it or not. And
so if you are going back and forth, whether it's
in your relationships or in your family or at work,
and you're feeling tension, just remember there is the other
side to it as well.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
There'll be some good stuff as well. All right, so
you want to get the entire podcast? Is that up
right now on our Facebook page?
Speaker 2 (12:20):
It sure is. Also it's called the sky Vibe Show.
Speaker 1 (12:23):
I'll put the link up as well so you can
catch up with everything.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
You learn a lot.
Speaker 3 (12:27):
Billy and Judy by the way on Facebook if you
want to check that out.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
Billy with a y at Judy and now you're a
google buster answer coming with a question so difficult you
should be able to Google the answer.
Speaker 3 (12:37):
Just a task, right there, Judy. The most common name
for counties in the US Washington. They're actually thirty one
Washington counties in America. Okay, at twenty six, this is
the second most common name used. What is it?
Speaker 2 (12:56):
Jefferson?
Speaker 3 (12:59):
How'd you? What are you doing to me?
Speaker 1 (13:01):
How do you?
Speaker 3 (13:01):
This is the second time this month, second time this year.
I know that you have buzzed at my Google.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
You know why?
Speaker 1 (13:07):
I just watched a documentary on Thomas Jefferson.
Speaker 3 (13:11):
Unbelievable. Yeah, there are thirty one Washington counties in America.
There are twenty six Jefferson counties in America. You went
absolutely nothing, not even bragging rights.
Speaker 2 (13:22):
Oh I'm bragging, Billy Greed.
Speaker 3 (13:24):
What I'm bragging, taking out with us Billy and Judy
in the morning. Judy, this is interesting. So we've made
it through. But now the second weekend in January, and
we know there are a lot of people out there
attempting a dry January.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
Right, okay, right where they don't drink any alcohol all
of January.
Speaker 3 (13:41):
Correct, and there could be several people by this point
who have failed their dry January. In fact, they did
a survey on this. Guess how long the average American
lasts with their dry January attempt.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
I'm gonna say three days, ten days.
Speaker 3 (13:56):
Oh, not bad, not as bad as you would think.
Now I have the why people have failed their dry January.
Would you like to guess one of the top five stress? Uh,
I'll take that. A bad day at work? How about that?
Speaker 2 (14:11):
Yeah that counts.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
Yeah, that was at number four thirty six percent. Just
behind that at number five because they just wanted to relax.
Number three probably makes more sense. You could feel the pressure.
They went on a date.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, a lot of dates on January.
Speaker 3 (14:28):
Second most popular reason for ending your dry January happy
hour either her friends or probably more specifically, even with coworkers.
Speaker 2 (14:37):
Oh yeah, that's another one.
Speaker 3 (14:38):
And my personal favorite, don't feel guilty if you're not
the only one who has failed your dry January. The
number one answer they forgot they were doing a dry January.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
The offsy sensation with the Toddlers.
Speaker 1 (14:52):
The Wiggles are putting on a country album, then they're
getting some huge names to help them. They say country
music is all about storytelling and connection, and combining that
with the Wiggles fun and imagination felt like the perfect match.
So along with the Wiggles, Country Stalls stars Dolly Parton,
Landy Wilson, and Morgan Evans, just to name a few,
(15:12):
and the album coming out BArch seventh.
Speaker 3 (15:14):
So, my oldest son, Grant, is twenty five. He watched
The Wiggles when he was a little kid. They've got
to be like in their fifties now.
Speaker 2 (15:23):
Hey. They they're the kind of guys that just don't
grow up.
Speaker 3 (15:27):
They just and Judy in the morning. This isn't really
necessarily about the weather. Just this time of the year
for a lot of people can really be depressing.
Speaker 1 (15:37):
It is for me, and I know it's because every
other month seems to have something. February's Valentine's Day and
then there's you know, Easter, and there's always something and
this month is like a letdown kind of it is.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
And I'll tell you you know, I said earlier that
I make de transition from beer that I drink of
the summertime with the barbecue and the pool over to
the wine with the fireplace, And that is true, and
I do enjoy that. The other thing that I do
is and I just started doing this the last few
years and take a vacation. So I'm actually gonna be off.
I think it's like the second week in February.
Speaker 2 (16:07):
Mm hmmm. I think that's smart.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
Goes somewhere where it's dice and it doesn't feel like winter.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
No, I'm going to Missouri. I don't know what I'm thinking,
but I grew up. I grew up there, and I'm
going back home for a week.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
Well that makes you feel warm and fuzzy because you're
a big deal in that small little town.
Speaker 3 (16:21):
Oh yeah, Judy does crafting.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
I love it. I love crafting.
Speaker 1 (16:25):
I love creating, creating stuff for other people, making really
cool jewelry because it feels like an accomplishment and it
takes my mind.
Speaker 3 (16:33):
Off the blues. Do you sell it or you just
give it all? Away.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
No, I give it all away and then they could
throw it out.
Speaker 3 (16:39):
They're right. What do you do to beat the winter blues?
Another talk pack message? Really, I take vite them in details.
I know that's so cliche, but it's true.
Speaker 1 (16:47):
And I also have one of those.
Speaker 3 (16:50):
Little like sun lamps.
Speaker 2 (16:52):
Oh yeah, and that is awesome.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
And then I just keep in contact with friends and family.
Speaker 3 (16:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
I have one of those red Ellie D like things.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
It's not for tanning, it's just it supposedly makes you
feel better on you work.
Speaker 3 (17:05):
We those vitamin D pills. My wife Melissa and I
have been taking those since the pandemic. We take one
every other night, and she actually got a report back
from her doctor that she had too much vitamin D,
so we've had to back off of it a little bit.
But it supposedly really helps with your I guess, immune system,
the defenses. I guess. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (17:23):
I what's one good thing about being a natural redhead?
We make more of vitamin D? Well, look at you, Well,
we don't get tanned.
Speaker 3 (17:30):
So again, Judia, it's a very simple question this morning.
Speaker 1 (17:33):
Yeah, what do you do to get through that winter blues?
Speaker 2 (17:36):
What's the slump? What do you do.
Speaker 3 (17:37):
Yeah, I hit that little red microphone on your free
iHeartRadio app. It's called Talkback, will share those messages in
just a few minutes.
Speaker 2 (17:45):
My bonus buster question. And I am so shocked at this.
But here is the question.
Speaker 3 (17:50):
Okay, this is.
Speaker 1 (17:52):
True for about thirty three percent of adults.
Speaker 3 (17:58):
This is true for about thirty three percent of adults,
so like a.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
Third of all adults in.
Speaker 3 (18:04):
The US our only children.
Speaker 1 (18:09):
No, that's a very good try.
Speaker 3 (18:11):
Though, I mean really honestly, I tried there, I made it, really.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
Did you really did? And and and it's not even close. No,
US only have one leg I mean less than that.
Don't you think track it.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
Should be more. It's pretty cool their Judy has her
own podcast. You call this the sky Vibe.
Speaker 1 (18:30):
Report, and it is with a professional astrologer, very kind
of what's the word practical?
Speaker 2 (18:36):
Practical?
Speaker 1 (18:37):
You know, it's it's entertaining for people who think it's
woo woo, and it's also practical.
Speaker 2 (18:41):
And so I asked him about a full moon.
Speaker 4 (18:43):
Thing that you still want to do in your life
or that you would like to have accomplished by the
time you leave, has extra amplification under this.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
I love it.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
Thank you, Thomas and once on our out got to
do that.
Speaker 2 (18:59):
Your sky And that's just a little snippet.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
You can also get it on the free, new and
improved iHeartRadio app. It's the sky Vibe Astrology podcast and
now your Google buster answer. All right, So the question
is this is true for about thirty three percent of adults.
That's a third.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
Think about this in your neighborhood of adults.
Speaker 1 (19:21):
There's at least a third of those adults that have have.
Speaker 3 (19:24):
This, well out of three of us, man, I mean,
is it bad? Is it something that you don't want?
Or is it okay?
Speaker 1 (19:31):
If you had this, I don't. I certainly don't want it.
And it can be for petty or big.
Speaker 3 (19:40):
Okay, that doesn't help me at all.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
It could have put them behind bars.
Speaker 2 (19:44):
Maybe not.
Speaker 3 (19:46):
Well, there's a lot of reasons I should have been
buying bars.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
Could it get gotten a really bad ticket?
Speaker 2 (19:51):
They didn't pay for this? Could give it to them?
Speaker 3 (19:55):
What are you talking about? A really bad ticket? Like
do you w.
Speaker 2 (20:01):
Instead of a CD? You might buy these.
Speaker 3 (20:05):
A bond.
Speaker 2 (20:07):
They have a criminal record.
Speaker 3 (20:11):
Doing everything?
Speaker 1 (20:12):
I could give it to you.
Speaker 3 (20:14):
What in the world?
Speaker 2 (20:16):
So no records? I was trying to everything, So think
about it.
Speaker 1 (20:18):
Thirty three percent of adults.
Speaker 3 (20:20):
Now hold on a second, what qualifies you as having
a criminal record because I have been put in the
pokey before.
Speaker 1 (20:27):
Okay, well that's what I'm saying is you could have
had a.
Speaker 2 (20:29):
Ticket you didn't pay for. You now have a record.
Speaker 1 (20:31):
Oh, it can be something to put you behind bars.
Speaker 3 (20:34):
You now have a record. I just to clarify, I
was all of seventeen years old. I had a beer
in the car and I got arrested for the minor
in possession and it's and I had worked. I was
put a new car stereo in my car, and I
just happened to have had a souvenir knife from Silver
(20:55):
Dollars City that I used to splice the wires that
I didn't even know was under my seat. They nailed
me for carrying a concealed weapon.
Speaker 1 (21:03):
I have a feeling it's off your record by now.
Speaker 3 (21:05):
Now. No DUIs no no dus. I don't drink it drive.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
I think you will have a clean criminal record, But
just in case, you mightn't want to do a background
search on yourself to what you need to do before
leaving for vacation on just for the hack of it.
I gotta have one on this vacuum seal food. This
is kind of cool.
Speaker 3 (21:23):
Hold on a saying you just threw so much at
me so fast, this early this morning. So I know
we've got it just for the hack of it. Hacked
for vacationing, you said. The other one has to do
with sealing food.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
Yeah, so I don't own one of those vacuum fancy
sealed foods things, and so I thought this was an
interesting way to do that. So if you place your
food in a ziplock bag and you submerge it in
a bowl of water with the top open and sticking
out of the water, you let it sit for a
minute and close it, the water will push out all
the excess air out of the bag.
Speaker 3 (21:53):
Oh that's interesting. That's one of my big pet peeves
at my house. You know, we've got my wife, Melissa,
I've got a nine and seven year old sons here,
and then my mom is retired, so she lives down
in the dungeon. And every time I go to get like,
you know, potato chips or bread and there's air left
in the bag, it just drives me crazy because air
is like the biggest enemy when it comes to spoiling food.
Speaker 1 (22:14):
Yeah, whether it's bread in your pantry or freezer burn.
Speaker 2 (22:18):
I hate that.
Speaker 1 (22:18):
So yeah, this is if you don't have one of those.
Do you have one of those like vacuum seal things.
Speaker 3 (22:23):
No, this is great advice because I always smush everything
because I need to try to squeeze all the air
out before I seal it up. So that's great advice. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (22:30):
Now here's the one about what you want to do
before leaving for vacation. This is especially good if you're
a worry war like. I don't know, you could be
there right one of these people. So take a photo
of your oven knobs in the off position. You never
know when that scary thought pops into your head, like
did I turn off the oven?
Speaker 3 (22:48):
And then you have proof that's not a bad idea,
right there? Take them off? Is that what you said?
Take them off?
Speaker 2 (22:52):
Turn them off? Take a picture of them off.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
Take a picture of everything that you don't have that
you could look at the picture and go, yep, there's
my proof.
Speaker 2 (22:59):
Calm down and joy your vacation.
Speaker 3 (23:01):
I would even suggest taking a picture of some of
your important documents because I lost a bunch of stuff
on vacation. In fact, I left my wall at one
time at a taxi and I had to fly the
next day. I had no proof of who I was,
and they even asked at the airports you have like
a photo of your driver's lice an that sort of stuff,
and I didn't. Something you should have on your phone.
Speaker 1 (23:21):
That is brilliant as well. And that is just for
the heck of it. And so Americans are eating a
lot of pizza.
Speaker 3 (23:28):
Billy Greenwood, I don't eat a ton because you know,
I've gone through this weight loss transformation. However, when I do,
I love the margarita pizza.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
Ooh, that's my favorite too. Apparently we eat.
Speaker 1 (23:39):
Enough pizza Americans to fill two hundred and forty thousand Olympic.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
Sized swimming pools.
Speaker 3 (23:44):
Right, it's a lot of pezza.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
And that's a lot of pizza.
Speaker 1 (23:47):
And apparently of thirty two percent of people predict they're
going to eat even more pizza than they did in
twenty twenty four. The question is what would you give
up for a year to get free pizza?
Speaker 3 (23:58):
Give up for free pizza? What would I give up?
A tough call. I can tell you that at my house,
I bet you pizza is eating at least every other day.
My nine year old son, we get those Jacks pizzas.
Have you ever seen those in the grocery store? Yeah,
in the freezer like cardboard he gets. Yeah, he eats
those almost every meal. It drives me crazy. So he
would probably give up just about everything but his PS
(24:19):
five for his pizza.
Speaker 2 (24:21):
Fuck. Well, the number one thing people would give up,
I know. I don't think you would agree. Alcohol.
Speaker 3 (24:26):
Oh hold on a second, if I don't have alcohol,
what are you supposed to drink with your pizza? If
you can't have beer?
Speaker 2 (24:32):
Well, soda?
Speaker 3 (24:34):
That is in correct to mondo.
Speaker 2 (24:36):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
The second one is they'd quit social media.
Speaker 3 (24:39):
Now that's I could see. We listen. I'm on social
media a lot, but we're also supposed to be because
of the job we have and our company says we
have to otherwise. I don't know that I would have
a problem giving that up.
Speaker 1 (24:49):
Okay, one last thing, and this is important with pizza eaters. Now,
what is the best way the number one way you
should eat a slice of pizza?
Speaker 3 (24:58):
Uh? I see eat this?
Speaker 2 (25:00):
Is it tip first or folded?
Speaker 3 (25:02):
Oh? Tip first? One hundred percent?
Speaker 2 (25:05):
Absolutely correct? Amundo?
Speaker 3 (25:06):
Yay?
Speaker 1 (25:09):
You win free pizza from Food for Thought,
