Speaker 1 (00:01):
My son g Morning shows one of six am out
page number one for hip hop and RnB. Today's another
day to get some blessing.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
You better come get my blessing. Hey, I got them
all morning long pretty much. We're gonna start off with
Rolling Loud at eight ten and then we got more
tickets from Mary Neo and Mario coming up at a
forty five. And you know, we use a free Ironheart
Radio app for that, so you might as well. If
you're in the web or you're leaving and going into
the office stream us on that day and you're ready
to hit us back, we'll have a trivia question for you,
(00:31):
ay forty five for that.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
Right now, we got the news. What's going on, Ben Sonaje.
Let's go ahead and get into Olivia one of them
good collaps. Let's talk about what's been happening out here
with our folks in the street. Because you know, Governor
Gavin Newsom has officially said that there's going to be
launching a brand new website that is called Accountability dot
CA dot gov to help you better assess homelessness in
your neighborhood. Now, this is the kicker, nine hundred and
(00:54):
twenty million dollars of funding is supposed to be going
towards making sure we can help with you know, unhe
house folks out here throughout Kalaki.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
Can we get half of that for education? Can I
get an amen?
Speaker 3 (01:04):
Amen?
Speaker 1 (01:05):
Please? Who would be nice?
Speaker 3 (01:06):
But they're saying they're looking at three target areas about
encampments getting cleaned up, making sure that these people will
not only get housed, but stay housed, and also getting
them the necessary services to help them out anywhere they need.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
Here we are with another situation and you know, I
don't know if you've complained like I have on the millions,
and I feel like at this point billions of dollars
that we've used across the state to try to reconcile homelessness,
which is like trying to attract, attack and correct drug abuse.
Like it's hard man, because there's constantly new people going
on the street. And he's like, y'all have been abusing
(01:39):
this money, where is it going? Because we haven't seen
that much change. So but you know, there is the
other coin aside of the coin that people don't want
to get off the street for whatever reason. So I
don't know, but he's going to be doing some checks
and balances. Now, is this money being used the way
it's supposed to? And I'm like, if it ain't, let's
put it for our kids, man.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
For education.
Speaker 4 (01:59):
People want to see their sidewalks taking back. They want
their streets safe again. They want to bring their kids,
walk them down the streets, get to the playground without
stepping over people on the sidewalks.
Speaker 5 (02:09):
That's about getting encampments cleaned up. That's about getting people
into housing and getting them the necessary wrap around services.
We've got to make sure the money that we are
spending in the state is going to practices that are
proven by evidence to work.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
Well.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
See the repercussions.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
I mean because a lot of community organizations are pulling
from these funds nine hundred and twelve million dollars and
we're closing schools. Like I'm sorry, it just irritates the
hell out of me. I'm not even gonna light to you.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
Man, got big news for your clap two times.
Speaker 3 (02:37):
Let's talk to all my Starbucks fans out there, because
Starbucks is number one letting go of over one thousand
corporate employees nationwide. So no, not of course your favorite
Mareisa at the corner store, but those folks who are
sitting up in those cushy offices making all that good money.
They said, they're gonna be cutting down and downsizing very quickly.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
Look at that, trimming the tree from the top man.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
But they also are going to be taking away some
of your faithavorite drinks.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
They said.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
Thirteen of their quote unquote less popular drinks are I'm
gonna be leaving next week.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
What is unpopular? Some of them?
Speaker 3 (03:08):
Okay, well, basically what they're saying is, look, man, the
list is quite long. Here sona ge number one. I
know for a fact my lady loves this one. The
white chocolate mocha frappuccino.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
That's my dream. I feel so bad. I don't know
what I'm gonna do when I can get her one
of those.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
Also, the chai cream frappercina, chi caramel ribbon crunch cream frap.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
That a gross.
Speaker 3 (03:33):
A lot of these FRAPs, ice macha lemonade, and this
one for sure is gonna hurt my heart. The white
hot chocolate. Oh, on a nice winter morning, I need
one of those.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
I mean, apparently that's not the sales are down right.
I also saw the cookies.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
And cream frappucino on there because y'all just want to
have diabetes in a day. But you know, I guess
these are just you know, not selling as they should,
so they're making a lot of cuts over at Starbucks.
Speaker 3 (03:58):
I guess y'all been brewing at the I don't know,
got big newspay clap three times. Let's go ahead and
talk about DoorDash. Now. There's a brand new lawsuit that
just got kicked off basically saying that DoorDash has to
pay sixteen point seventy five million dollars to all of
his delivery worked as well. You got to make sure
you put your name on that list, right because they're
basically saying DoorDash was cheating them out of the tips
(04:20):
they are supposed to be making while they were out working.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
This is another lawsuit just like the ones before, and
they continue to find ways to take money from people
and use it as paid so they can continue to
get more cash. Here's the dash you're talking about.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
It should be ashamed of yourself taking advantage of people
that ain't got money, driving our own cars, taking care
of your consumers.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
They weren't making more money, the driver wasn't.
Speaker 3 (04:44):
Dordash is using customers tips in generosity, whether it's a
dollar tip or whatever to pay us, and then they
would pay us less so they can keep more money.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
Yeah, So I mean it's really unfortunate.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
I feel like all these you know, contract workers, I
guess is what we call them independent contractors, either of
it's Doordas or Uber, and a lot of you do
all of it right right because your phone is constantly painted.
Somebody wants breakfast, somebody needs to ride from the airport,
or whatever the case may be, and these companies continue
to find a way to get over on whoever is working,
(05:13):
you know, this share type of situation.
Speaker 1 (05:15):
So it's just unfortunate.
Speaker 4 (05:16):
Man.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
But that's a small number. What is it, sixteen million? Yeah,
just over sixteen million, you know what I mean. It's
not a lot.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
But if you do want to ahead and put your
name on that list, hit upag dot ny dot gov
to get the full link to go ahead and make
it happen.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
And we appreciate our dashers out there that are riding
with the signat you want.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
To show this morning all our rights here folks too.
What up lift Uber?
Speaker 2 (05:35):
All right, right, all right, we're gonna cloud in the day,
coming up in a second. And when we talk about
someone doing bad or making bad decisions at six thirty
five every morning, you know, normally it doesn't make me mad,
like I'll just laugh it.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
Off because they'd be funny. But this.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
Oh snack eating woman in Pittsburgh has my blood boiling.
This morning. We're gonna talk about it. Six thirty five
will break down for you for clown to the day,
Happy Tuesday, sign a g morning show right here on cameo.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
Here's Kendrick straight.
Speaker 2 (06:17):
It's gonna pretty much take everything I got to control
myself from cursing on the radio. Man. You know, I
complain about my dogs and they get on my damn nerves.
But just like kids, you got to care for them,
and they are your extended family. I don't care what
you say. You could be the hardest thug on the street.
You got yourself mastiff or whatever. That's your baby boy
(06:38):
or girl, period. Like you know, we treat them like family.
And so when I saw in this viral video of
this altercation in Pittsburgh right out here in pe world, now,
I don't know how it started, right, and I'm I
hope details come out, and I honestly don't give a bleep.
How it started. A man is seen in the surveillance
(06:59):
video from my house washing his truck.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
He's got his two little white dogs out there.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
For whatever reason, this woman who they're saying her name
is Legaisha Williams, and I think she's the daughter of
the woman that's with her. I don't know if they
were walking and it was some kind of racially charged
thing or whatever. I guess they have a black BMW.
I don't know how they ended up in this area.
Maybe they live next door. I have no clue. There
(07:25):
was some words exchange, and then, for whatever reason, this
young lady decided it was going to be the best
option in this verbal altercation to take out her aggression
on this little ten year old white pup that this
man had sitting out there while he was watching his car.
And the more that I watched this video, I literally
can't watch it anymore because I'm borderline high blood pressure
(07:48):
right now, and it just really is the most cowardice
thing that I think I'm probably gonna see this week.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
And just so unnecessary, Like if y'all exchanging words or
whatever's going on again in space, you can keep it pushing,
but you see her tap, she taps the young girl.
The young girl walks on over, takes two steps and
punted the damn dog like she was.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
In the mid little An NFL game.
Speaker 2 (08:08):
She was like, I'm gonna kick your dog. And then
you hear the dog like screeching, and the man he
pulled back, but he told himself and he was like,
that's all right, that's all right, and he went and
got his dog and went inside.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
But there was talk of like a gun and all
kinds of stuff. Listen, I wanted to kick your dog, Yes,
I share dead. Why do dog?
Speaker 3 (08:40):
You gotta catch a straight bro.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
Grown ass woman talking like she's three years old out
there and just you clearly have never.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
Owned a pet in your life.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
Uh, And maybe her mama needs to do better raising
these young people out there. I don't know who you are,
but your shoulder clown of the day.
Speaker 1 (08:55):
You clowns all day. Mann.
Speaker 2 (09:02):
Now, I know some words that can definitely get someone
to not care about what they do.
Speaker 1 (09:07):
And I'm hoping that's not what took place.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
Yeah, I mean, very true, very true. And you know,
on a good note, the doggie did get taken to
the vet. They said everything is fine. No, injuries were
sustained in that entire situation.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
Didn't kick him hell a hard, but she didn't kick
him like, oh my god, we gotta do better.
Speaker 3 (09:23):
People know what's good in the bag.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
Only spread some good news. Bege number one for hip
hop and R and B six point one Son wanted
you on Camo Base number one fIF pop and R
and BS.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
She girl sign it what's up?
Speaker 3 (09:47):
Hey?
Speaker 2 (09:48):
You play the GV all right, so let's talk about
it for Black History Month.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
We got a lot of.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
Vets, you know, and we don't know what they've been through,
what they've seen, And during this time, I feel like
it's the time to celebrate those vets that are you know,
of a certain descent, because it is Black History muk right.
And so my got Floyd, he just celebrated his one
hundredth birthday, right, and his daughter was interviewed. It was like,
(10:15):
my mama always treated my.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
Dad's birthday like it was a holiday.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
And that's what we should do for each other, right,
not only just because they're family, but because they served
our country regardless of what capacity. And they sat down
with good old Floyd to old g the Triple Og.
Speaker 1 (10:30):
And he basically said, I.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
Never shot nobody, and they asked if he was happy
about that.
Speaker 1 (10:35):
But I never shot at anybody. Nobody shot at me.
I didn't go over no battlefield or any of that. No,
you're pretty happy that that's what happened.
Speaker 3 (10:44):
I'm glad that, yes, indeed, because he's still here eighty
years later. You know what I'm talking about now. The
man actually was sixteen when Pearl Harbor happened. So when
he turned eighteen years old, boom, he was straight into war.
And thankfully he said, he drove a truck for most
of that war, which is why he's still around, hanging
out in Oakland for his one hundredth birthday.
Speaker 2 (11:01):
There you go, Happy birthday, Boyd, and thank you for
serving our country in.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
Any capacity man.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
Even being out there suited up, you know, every moment
you don't know what's going to happen next. It's all
our beds too. Celebrating Floyd though. For Black History Month
definitely was good in the Bay. We got big news
coming back at seven, San.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
What's up?
Speaker 3 (11:18):
You know, Sannajia. I gotta talk to all my door
dash workers. I'm sure some of y'all out there right
now picking up whatever from starbus going to make that delivery. Well,
did you know that there might be some money coming
your way because apparently the company's been doing you wrong
man again. Yes, but we'll give all the details to
let you know about it. Coming up at seventeen News.
Speaker 1 (11:35):
This is next, It's.
Speaker 3 (11:38):
Morning show.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
One to six point one km yet morning clog and
clouds for the coast and North Bay. Cloudy skies inland,
clearing the sunshine and blue skies by midday Tuesday. Temperatures
low to mid sixties.
