a Men Thompson, Jalen Green do their job. The key
here is that somebody else or other guys on the
night when and I know you can't have you say, well,
all of them can't play good. Well, they have before,
and we've seen team for Golden State back in the
day for their guys would be scoring eighteen to twenty

five and step would hit thirty right from Draymond Green
and Klay Thompson when they're all together. So you can
have your stars all playing well at the same time.
But take a look at that Sheng Gun doesn't get
into the scoring act very much and they still go win.
So it's a really this is a really good situation.
I'm telling you what a Men Thompson is becoming a
star on this team now, he really is. And we
was you know, Jalen Green, Jaalen Green, Jayen Green. That's

mental fortitude men, which is good that they can win

really good watch as you go forward. It's going to
be a really good watch, man. And while they may

bring in June meeting the NBA Finals, I think that
they're not far away. They're really not another one last night.
They've they've been a joy to watch this year, man.

Rio's golf tournament and I was like, and I don't
get mesmerized due they were sitting at the table and
I shook his hand and I'm looking at him thinking,
good gracious.

Right, he had an event there and and Jimmy was
there and right next to him was was because they
had Jimmy's a big fisherman. They just like outdoors. And
he's lived in Santa Fe. His homes in Santafa for
a long time. You know, you'll see him at the
local breakfast place and walking with his dog and stuff.
He just in Santa Fe. Well, all of a sudden,
you wake up this morning and Gene Hackman dies, his

wife dies, his dog dies. Yeah, and they say there's
no foul play. Yeah, that's that's bs.

If now do you consider what it sounds to me
like it's only one or two things, either something that
I don't know, is there a gas leak that that
or or I'm not saying this.

going that's pretty quick. But you see what I'm saying.
But you know, my point is, I don't even know
what this is. We're all going to speculate. We shouldn't,
but how is there no foul play involved? Now, listen,
there's no foul play involved? If they walked into it.
You can smell the gas or something, and it was accidental.

But the first thought if you walked in and smelled
the gas would be what.

You got a gas leak and cure. It was an
easy way for all. I don't right, you know what
I'm saying.

Yeah, depending on how you think, right, he said, No,
not Jeene, but Gene Hackman, his wife, and their dog
were all found dead inside his home last night.

He was ninety five, she was sixty four. Yeah, and
the dog and the dog as well.

But how do you just push that out? They're investigating.
If so, it doesn't appear any foul plays involved.

Foul play is not suspected as a factor in those
deaths deaths At this time, however, the exact cause of
death has not been determined.

Okay, So if they didn't walk in there and they
didn't smell gas, Okay, hear me out for a second.
They don't smell gas. There's no blood for you know,
a home invasion like a John Wick thing where they
killed the dog. I'm not being smart, I'm being serious,
you know, Or they and all three of them are
in the house and there's no smell, there's no sign

of gas where you They weren't found in their car
inside the garage, you know, with the garage dog and
any of that stuff, so is found.

I don't even know. Do we consider a suicidal situation
foul play?

I think Okay, then if that's if they don't fall
into the same cat Yeah, to me, it's it's gut wrenching.
So it almost feels like thou but it's it's listen,
we'll go find out that it. I mean, if if
if it's not foul playing home invasion and it's not
a gas leak in their house and it was else,
I'm not.

Trying to speculate, but it's but we are everybody the
neighbor called the sheriff's office to do a welfare check,
so that means he hadn't seen them or it wasn't
seen them in a while. So that only leads to
me carbon monoxide poisoning or a gas leak, or it
took everybody out.

found dead? What with his wife? And Yeah, and then
I clipped the article and it says, with his wife

It's just a peaceful life. And when he retired from acting,

He was spectacular. Yeah, but retired and it was out there. Yeah,

But when I saw that, I was gut It was
gut wrenching because he's another one. You know, that's like
in the Clint Eastwood era. Right, it's just I just
it's on. It's regardless of how it happened or why

it happened. Gut wrenching sucks. Man, He's probably lost another icon.
It gives you a six stomach thinking about how it

I think about them and the dog and stuff. I mean,
great love apparently, but they got away from that Hollywood
scene and we're able to just, yeah, to be able
to be out there doing doing his uh, doing his stuff, man,
meaning just being peaceful and you know, a small town
and you know Santa fe living that life.

impactful people, and you know what's great, As he mentioned it,
I kind of like the actors and the actresses. They're
all actors, but actresses that I guess we're is that
the way we're describing him now. Actresses are actors, or
we'll call them all actors. She's an actress and he's

an actress. Yeah, Best Actress Award, Yet we call them
all actors. Is he worked in silence and successes in
silence as well. You know, he just was as Chris said,
he didn't he didn't get caught up in all the hype.
Eastwood doesn't get caught up in all the hype.

He's that, you know.

I think he's still up in northern California at Tahima,
which he has his own golf course and stuff out there.
It just I like those guys who have kind of
because you know what, there's got to come a time
with all that stuff you doing acting, where getting out
on your ranch somewhere in Montana or going to Santa
Fe or living up in into you know, the northern California,
where you're in peace on.

I kind of like it because Hackman was never a
self promoter, never a self promoter, and find me someplace
he did bad work. He didn't take a lot of
roles on every you know, he's one of those guys
who did five movies in a year. But whenever he
did it, he did it really really well. And that voice, man,

I can remember the little league teamates, right, But I'm
talking about you remember the coach quicker and you remember
the backup for sure. You're the backup catcher for the
All Star team, right, yeah? Oh yeah not they weren't
your but but you guys who were maybe on other teams.
He didn't hang around. But except for that three and
with the All Stars, if you're fortunate, it was a
six or eight week period whatever.

Once we got to nine. You like, we stayed together
from nine, you all the way unto high school. We
were pretty lucky. And I'm still really tight with all
those community right, But as far as coaches, I can
rottle them off right now.

Speaker 5 (30:55):
Oh, I'm not saying the ones who were closer you
stayed with four five years. I'm telling about if I
said sixth grade, y sixth grade junior high team.

Speaker 4 (31:01):
He yes, I'm saying, did he played basket?

Speaker 5 (31:03):
That's what you say. Other than the starters of the
guys that were with you my seventh high school, you'll
remember them all.

Speaker 4 (31:07):
Obviously. I was seventh grade B team and eighth grade
B team point guard for basketball. I couldn't tell you
whom I started.

Speaker 5 (31:12):
You were right, but you will remember the coach or
your school teachers far quicker than you will remember the
person who sat on your right in your classroom for
nine years up until junior high school.

Speaker 6 (31:22):
Right.

Speaker 5 (31:23):
It just it's amazing. So the hackers, that's why you
that's what you went. So I started saying, remember all
those acronyms because you remember the coach who put him
on you too.

Yeah.

Speaker 5 (31:32):
Yeah, and it can be a negative effect on kids too,
So coaches, Yeah, it's it's we we remember everything. Yeah,
it's important.

Speaker 4 (31:41):
Yeah, there's that's a really good way to put it,
because I remember all that stuff.

Speaker 5 (31:44):
Still the plunge and they're watching you. Don't think they're
listening to everything you say. Some of the stories that
I have now that make me laugh. There were great
coaching moments that the coach didn't realize he was given
a great coaching moment.

Speaker 4 (31:55):
You don't realize, right, Yeah, just doing his job man.

Speaker 5 (31:58):
And then you sometimes you'll remember those more than you
will that poignant speech that was right like what happened
this gave But you might remember the practice before when
he said, hey, man, oh yeah, does it really matter? Yeah,
let it rip whatever it was. He just said it
in passing and you took it to heart and it
changed your life or whatever.

Speaker 6 (32:15):
Man.

Speaker 4 (32:16):
Coaching, So that's that's why we should always take it
pretty damn serious.

Yeah.

Speaker 5 (32:20):
And then if you're a parent, let your coaches coach. Yeah,
well if not, if not, then go coach them, coach
yourself all the way through. Then give up some of
the hard work you're doing and go coach them all
the time. But when they're coaching, support them and let
them coach them, let them coach them. There's there's there's
good to be learned, life lessons that even in the
fourth and fifth grade, right.
