Three and the Tide bad Grand No Good.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Now, here's your hosts, Dave Gasper and Nick Bruce Aways.

Speaker 4 (00:26):
Welcome into the JK Security Solutions Basketball postgame Show. I'm
your host Dave Gasper, joined once again this year by
Nick Bruce Wiz. The Wisconsin Badgers defeated the ew River
Falls Falcons seventy eight to sixty two in this exhibition
game before the start of the regular season on Monday.
If you'd like to join the show, you can call
us at six oh eight, three two, one, thirteen ten

(00:48):
and we want to know what your expectations are for
the Badgers this season. Well, Nick, it's one final tune
up for Bucky before games count, and this one was
surprisingly close in the second half. Wisconsin had just a
two point lead with twelve fifty five to go in
the second half before going on a big run kickstarted
by Carter Gilmore. Of all players the Badgers, they suffered

(01:10):
a lot of roster turnover over the offseason, and it
appeared to show tonight.

Speaker 5 (01:15):
No doubt about it. David, And this is one of
those games where you want to look at the group
you have and how it can move forward. This season
and last season, you saw a group of players that
really established themselves in one individual year. Here, specifically aj
Store aj Storre was his team's leading scorer. He brought
the flash, he brought the threes, he brought it all,

(01:38):
and then he left. He went to Kansas Connor season
was a fan favorite. Didn't really find his legs this
past season, but people expected a lot from him following
his freshman year the year before. Now he's with Nebraska.
You're starting point guard, probably the most notable player on
your team. If you asked anyone, Hey, name a Badger's
basketball player.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Chuckie Hepbern with Louisville.

Speaker 5 (02:01):
So you have these transfers come in Cam Hunter from
Central Arkansas, Xavier Amos from Northern Illinois, and john Tonjay
who was the most notable one tonight coming over from Missouri,
and it felt like, hey, they're still trying to figure
out how to play with one another.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
It took some time.

Speaker 5 (02:18):
The Badger separated down the stretch, but I'm interested in
seeing what it looks like once the games officially begin
on Monday.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
Yeah, john Tonjay was a leading scorer for Wisconsin in
this game, fifteen points, three of eleven shooting, though from
the field, eight of nine from the free throw line,
it's where he got the bulk of his points, but
one of seven from three. He started the game with
a three pointer on the wing and then after that
zero of six from three. Really just kind of a
rough shooting night after that for Tonjay, but but he

(02:49):
led the way offensively. Four Wisconsin Stephen Crowell after that
with fourteen points. Crowll had a pretty good game, and
we'll get into that here on the show as well well.
But as you mentioned, the other transfers here Xavier Amos
four points, one shot from the field, made a three,
and then also having Cameron Hunter three points, made a

(03:12):
three pointer as well, and three pointers were It was
really the story of the game for Wisconsin because they
lived and died by the three in this one. Thirty
two to three point attempts twice as many as River
Falls had, and in the first half they shot eighteen
three pointers. They had twenty nine shots total in half

(03:34):
like they were shooting majority threes. They had plenty of
size inside with Stephen Crowell Nolan Winter. He had two
seven footers on in your starting lineup, and the Badgers
were on the perimeter seemingly all night long. They opened
the second half seven straight three point attempts. They go
one of seven on those shots, and then next thing

(03:57):
you know, they don't take it three for a while.
I think go Card told them, hey, let's cool it
with the three pointers and get in the paint.

Speaker 5 (04:04):
Absolutely, and they have a game plan, and their game
plan led them to a ton of open threes and
they just weren't falling. I feel inspired by the fact
that it felt to the most part that those threes
weren't contested shots.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Right.

Speaker 5 (04:18):
There were some that were pressed that they were trying
a little too hard and that they were setting up
when they probably didn't need to. But open threes lead
to great opportunity in later games. They need to make them.
Unfortunately tonight they weren't making them. So you do see
John Tojay down here on the court. He was just
making some threes after what was a disappointing shooting night
for him from deep.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
Yeah, he's coming out taking some extra shots, some extra
opportunities here after the game, and you'll love to see that.
You love to see that that kind of effort and
putting in that extra practice, putting in those extra shots
because he was the leading scorer. Only two players in
double digits tonight for Wisconsin. But then again, I mean
they did get a lot of players in. They got
the whole roster in there, even just for a little bit,

(04:59):
a couple of guys on the back end of the
bench getting in at the end. But a lot of
changing things out. But you still kind of kind of
get a feel for where this roster is going to
be looking. But still with those three pointers, you know,
he got Stephen Krowell out on the wing. Krow took
took four to three point attempts in this game, missed
all of them. And when he was when he was

(05:20):
shooting in the paint, six of seven, six of seven
from two point range, and so that was looking, you know,
much better. And Guard has talked about Stephen Crowell needed
to get the ball more, being more consistent down there
in the paint, and when they got it to him
down there, it was great, But you'd like to see
more of it. Especially when he's got four inches on

(05:42):
the on the tallest guy that River Falls has.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
No doubt about it.

Speaker 5 (05:45):
It felt like an odd night when it came to
some of the more notable guys.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Max Klesman didn't score.

Speaker 5 (05:50):
I'd love to talk about his night as we push
forward in our program here.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
Yeah, we'll talk about Max Klesmant and the rest of
the Badgers group here, and we'll get to you on
the talk Fine six oh eight three two one thirteen ten.
The Badgers beat UW. River Falls seventy eight to sixty two.
We'll get to more of you and more coming up
here on the JK Scurty Solutions Basketball postgame show.

Speaker 6 (06:12):
Just watching her all on hair, sun burn, stare at
them postgame show.

Speaker 4 (06:26):
JANK Security Solutions from home theaters to smart lighting to
universal home control, go online to jksecurity dot Com. Dave
Gasper here alongside Nick bruce Witz after this Badger's win
over UW. River Falls seventy eight to sixty two in
this exhibition game prior to the beginning of the regular season,
we'd love to hear from you on the talk Line

(06:48):
six oh eight three two one thirteen ten, And we
got Tony from river Falls. Uh waiting, Tony. Uh, this
had to be uh, you know, quite quite the feeling
for you watching this one in the second half of
two point game, river Falls was was right there are you?
Are you a parent of a River Falls player, a
River Falls fan?

Speaker 7 (07:09):
Well, I well, I work at the University of River
Falls campus.

Speaker 8 (07:14):
Okay, okay, there we go.

Speaker 7 (07:16):
And so I know the guys and I told him
kick some butt and uh play smart. And you know
they are good. They they this team is good. And
you know, I'm very proud to work at the University
of river Falls and you know those guys, I'm very proud,

(07:40):
and you know, Wisconsin, they're good, They're good, and they
just I wish good luck to the youse over you
over Falls Falcons, and I'm Wisconsin and you guys are
doing no great job. And please stay hi to them
at Lapey and Mike and all those guys that I

(08:02):
I mess them and I helped the hopefully they stay
high to me on the radio.

Speaker 4 (08:09):
Good jobs, guys, absolutely appreciate it, Thank you, Tony, and
we will absolutely we will absolutely tell them pass along.
And yeah, I mean really this this was a pretty
good game for for river Falls. They played well, especially
Zach Johnson twenty three points on nine to fifteen shooting.
He had a he had a fantastic game and rever
falls as that's what he was saying, like they're good

(08:29):
and and they come from from the Yak obviously, and
the Yak is best conference in the country. Uh if
you know, depending on who you ask, is as as
coach Kent dernback over at Stevens Point as he always says,
Way is best conference in the country, and River Falls,
I mean, you gotta give him credit. They really showed
up in the in this game, and they were pushing

(08:50):
Wisconsin pretty hard there, especially in the first eight minutes
of that second half.

Speaker 3 (08:54):
Yeah, no doubt about it.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
What a game for Zach Johnson tonight.

Speaker 5 (08:57):
He was able to keep them in this contest early
and stick with the Badgers into the second half.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
And I'm you know, hey, give.

Speaker 5 (09:06):
Credit to these guys because this is quite the challenge
for them to come here, to play in this environment
against the team that no one thinks they can beat,
and then to be as close as they were, just
down by two in the second half.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
It's impressive.

Speaker 5 (09:19):
I Mean, these are guys that were overlooked by schools
like Wisconsin, and in most cases rightfully so. I mean
there's an occasional guy who plays at one of these
schools who balls out, who gets another opportunity in D
one at a higher level with maybe a power four,
power five.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
School, if you want to call it that. Zach played
his heart out tonight.

Speaker 5 (09:38):
He finishes with twenty three points, nine to fifteen shooting.
But yeah, Wisconsin had the better hand and they were
able to pull through in the end. But it it
making me a little uncomfortable at times.

Speaker 4 (09:49):
Yeah, it does, especially with you know, a Wisconsin team
where you know, you have expectations, you know that this
is the Big Ten, this this is Wisconsin basketball. You
see the Final four banners hanging up over there, you
see you know, Frank Kaminsky's number retired, and and you know,
it's just that there's a lot, as we kind of

(10:10):
talked about earlier here on the show, the turnover that
this roster has has gone through, expectations for this team,
you got to kind of wonder what they're at. And
I think a game like this, I don't think it
helps boost expectations much. I don't think there's any moral
victories here for Wisconsin. I think there's certainly a moral

(10:31):
victory for for River Falls taken into Wisconsin as well
as they did. But but for Wisconsin, Nick, what are
your expectations for for this team this year? After as
we've talked about Chuckie Hepburn leaving and aj Store leaving
and Tyler Wall graduates and and now you got these
new transfers in here, what's your expectation for this group?

Speaker 5 (10:53):
Well, the Badgers seem to be at their best when
the expectations are low.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
There once to get picked to.

Speaker 5 (10:58):
Finish in the bottom third, an ish of the Big
ten this season wherever you want to look, they're right
around eleven thirteen ish.

Speaker 3 (11:07):
You don't know until they start playing these games.

Speaker 5 (11:09):
I know that somebody's gonna have to step up and
be that guy this season. Someone needs to become the star.
I don't think it's Max Klesmant. I don't think it's
gonna be Stephen Krow because we've had such a long.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
History with these guys.

Speaker 5 (11:22):
They can be your best player on a given night,
but on the season, a guy like John Blackwell needs
to step up and you need to become that guy.
John Toddjay Transfer your wing from Missouri. You need to
see something from somebody that we don't quite expect it
from in order for this season to kind of exceed expectations.

(11:43):
My expectation is that the Badgers this season are gonna
be just.

Speaker 2 (11:46):
A few games over five hundred.

Speaker 5 (11:48):
But this is gonna be a year where Daniel free Tag,
a highly touted freshman, whether you want to think of
him as a four star or a three star coming
over from Minneapolis, he is the future and he's gonna
get a lot of and we're gonna know a lot
about what this team can be in the future based
off of what we see from this season. Anything above
a few games over five hundred that we're talking about

(12:10):
exactly what Greg Guard does, which is get the most
out of his teams. I know that there's a gripe
that many people have with him when it comes to
the postseason, but regular season, he's done a very very
good job for now just under a decade. This is
his eighth full season, I believe, in his ninth partial
season with Wisconsin.

Speaker 4 (12:28):
Yeah, I'm with you there on the expectations. I think
it's gonna be around middle of the pack in the
Big Ten for this group and Daniel Freteg as you
mentioned one point tonight, one rebound, four turnovers in six
minutes of action. That has got to be cleaned up
if he's going to continue to get more playing time
as the season goes along. But I think also, you know,

(12:50):
in terms of guys stepping up, there were two guys
I think that really stepped up tonight in their action,
and that was Carter Gilmour who really he kickstarted that
fifteen to two run when it was forty seven to
forty five and things were not looking good and River
falls forth Wisconsin to have to call a time out
here to stop their run. Carter Gilmore hit a big

(13:10):
three to kickstart that run and then he also ended
up hitting another. He was three of three from the field,
all all of them threes nine points. Carter Gilmore had
had a really strong salt five rebounds as well in
his fourteen minutes, really strong fourteen minutes from Carter Gilmore.
And Marcus Silver too when he came in he had
his five minutes in the first half, made his first

(13:32):
three shots, two of them threes. Marcus Silver with eight points.
I think you're gonna need development from from those guys,
you know, Ilver especially, you know Gilmore, It's nice to
see him make a couple of shots, but I'm not
expecting that much from him in the regular season when
it comes to three point shooting. But you need those
guys to continue to step up. John blackwell, as you mentioned,

(13:55):
I think you're gonna need to see a lot more
from Nolan Winter this season as well if this team
is going to be able to make steps forward. But
as we've also seen quite a bit of the last
few years with this Badger's basketball program, really this first
part of the season, you know, even though again this
is an exhibition against a Division III school in River Falls,
they really tend to hit their stride right around the

(14:18):
the you know, late November, the Thanksgiving tournament. Times this
year they're going to get the Green Briar tip off
in West Virginia, but it's usually right around there, whether
it's whether they're in Maui or the Bahamas, wherever those
destination tournaments are, that's usually when we see this team
start to figure some things out. So even though you've
got this stretch of home games here to start the season,

(14:43):
that's really where we start to kind of figure out
what this team actually is so you don't want to
read too much into this exhibition against River Falls, but
you know, so you don't want to get overly optimistic.
But this is also one that you would think they
would have won by a bit more.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
Yeah, no doubt about it. Right.

Speaker 5 (15:01):
Last year you saw when they took down SMU in
the championship game.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
I believe that was down to the Bahamas.

Speaker 5 (15:08):
You know, they hit a stride there, they figured some
things out, they won a bunch of games in a row,
and then they were ranked. Then they were a top
ten team in the country, and then things fell, you know,
to the wayside, and they ended up kind of I
wouldn't say limping into the finish, but not necessarily bad.

Speaker 2 (15:24):
They're not accelerating towards the end, and that's been a.

Speaker 8 (15:26):
Problem for this group until the tournament.

Speaker 5 (15:29):
Yeah, and then in the Big Ten Tournament they got
all the way to the championship game, which has been
what many people think might be a detriment to teams
whether they make it to the Big Ten Tournament championship
game because they end up playing four games in four
days or five games in five days, depending on what
round they started.

Speaker 8 (15:46):
But yeah, you're right.

Speaker 3 (15:47):
So Carter Gilmore played two minutes in the.

Speaker 2 (15:49):
First half tonight.

Speaker 5 (15:50):
He didn't score, he didn't do anything. He comes back
in the second half and he ends up being the
spark and Jack JANICKI had a spark, right. These guys
that probably aren't gonna see a ton of minutes this
season were the most impactful players today. And I wanted
to look at Max Klesman. He didn't score in this game.
He played over twenty minutes. I don't think he was

(16:12):
feeling right. Something was wrong. I try to read the
facial you know, the reads that he's offering me, and
it felt to me like he was off.

Speaker 4 (16:23):
Yeah, like he was maybe a feeling a little under
the weather, like a certain like a certain co host.

Speaker 5 (16:29):
Not all of us are able to battle through it
and end up like Michael Jordan. We can't tell ourselves
it's the Michael Jordan flu game every day. But yeah,
you know, there's just a lot of breathing through my
mouth right now.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
There is there is.

Speaker 4 (16:43):
I am sitting several feet away from Nick up here
in the coal center, try trying to keep my distance here.
But still, yeah, Klesmit did not have a very good game.
He certainly didn't look right. Zho of five from the
field really just just kind of a rough forms for him.
Three fouls as well, the only player with three fouls

(17:07):
for the Badgers, and yeah, you're gonna have some games
like that. Better to get it out of the way
now than during the regular season. So it's just kind
of how it's gonna go for close met But we
know what Max Klesmt is, we know what he can
bring to this team, and he's gonna bring a lot
more than than zero points in twenty one minutes. As

(17:28):
regular season gets going. He'll bounce back, as will Nick
once he recovers from from the flu or whatever it
is he's got over there. So we will get to
Greg guard and we will hear from him later on
here in the show as well. Here what he said
to Matt Leapey and Brian Butch after this game. We
also have once again the return of Fun Facts with Dave.

(17:51):
That's coming up next. You're listening to the j K
Security Solutions Basketball Post Game Show. Welcome back to the
Jank Scurity Solutions Basketball Postgame Show. Jank Scurity Solutions. From

go to jksecurity dot com for more info. Dave gasper

(18:14):
here alongside Nick Bruswiz. The Badgers win seventy eight to sixty.

Speaker 8 (18:18):
Two over UW.

Speaker 4 (18:19):
River Falls in this exhibition game. The regular season will
begin on Monday. Tip off is going to be at
seven pm. That game is against holy Cross, the basketball
powerhouse that is holy Cross coming here to the Cole Center.
So that is when the regular season is going to begin.
But it is time once again for everyone's favorite segment

(18:42):
to return to the JK Security Solutions postgame show, and
that is Fun Facts with Dave. And we've got a
couple of fun facts here for you. During this exhibition
game for Wisconsin, you know they've played YAX teams now
for twenty years. You know this is you know, this
has been going back years now, you know, starting with

(19:02):
the Bo Ryan era, where during exhibition season, Wisconsin brings
in one of the YAK schools. You know what, one
of the other schools in the state of Wisconsin brings
them in to play an exhibition, gives them a chance
to play here at the Cole Center, play some D
one competition that they otherwise would not get, and Wisconsin

(19:23):
moves to twenty and zher in against WYAC teams. They
are undefeated. Good record to have being undefeated against YAK teams.
A little worried there for a split second in the
second half when this was just a two point game.
Wisconsin ends up pulling away for the sixteen point victory
and they moved to twenty to zero against their YAK opponents.

(19:45):
And another fun fact here for you, Nick, Wisconsin is
one of just four teams in the country with multiple
players that have one hundred plus career starts. Can you
guess the there the three other schools that have multiple
players with one hundred plus career starts.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
I mean, that's such a tough question.

Speaker 8 (20:07):
I know, trivia trivia night.

Speaker 5 (20:09):
Here other schools with one hundred plus career starts with.

Speaker 4 (20:14):
Multiple players that have one hundred plus career starts. So
for Wisconsin, you got you got klusmate, you got kraw Uh.
Who are the other schools? These are? These are big
big schools. Nope, not Duke, North Carolina, no u c
l A, No big big schools. Kentucky boom, there's one

(20:36):
Kentucky teams. Yes that's a surprise, because I mean.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
Yes, Calm is gone.

Speaker 4 (20:42):
He's gone, but they still retain a couple of starters
that that have some experience A.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
Right one are the other two?

Speaker 4 (20:49):
There's another one that begins with the K Kansas Kansas,
Kansas is another one. And then what's right next to
Kansas Missouri? Nope, Nebraska, Nebraska. Trying to ask you to
do geography on the air. Yeah, not our strong suit. No, Kansas,

(21:11):
Kentucky and Nebraska are the three other schools with multiple
players that have one hundred plus career starts. And and
for Wisconsin you got Max Klusmant, you got Stephen Krowell,
some very experienced players there in the starting lineup. So
those are our our initial fun facts here on fun facts.

Speaker 5 (21:31):
With you know what I think is a fun fact, Dave, Yeah,
holy Cross.

Speaker 2 (21:34):
Couldn't that be a name for like a pretty sweet
move on the court, like.

Speaker 8 (21:39):
Cross holy Cross?

Speaker 4 (21:41):
We need we need to get that to to Matt
Leape And I'm sure he's going to call that as
soon as the game gets underway against holy Cross on Monday.

Speaker 8 (21:51):
We we gotta we gotta, you know, we gotta.

Speaker 4 (21:53):
Text him and uh make sure that that he's got
that call lined up. Uh, but yeah, holy Cross, that
is when the actual regular season begins. That is going
to be Monday night at seven pm right here at
the Cole Center. So Wisconsin's then going to tip off
their twenty twenty four twenty five regular season and hopefully

(22:18):
they just are able to keep on winning. As they
win here tonight seventy eight sixty two. We'll be right
back with some final stats and wrap things up here
Wisconsin gets to win over UW. River Falls. You're listening

Dave gasper here alongside Nick Brucewitz. As we wrap up
after this Badgers win seven eight sixty two over UW.
River Falls, we'll run through some of the stats here

(23:05):
for you. John Tonjay was the Badger's leading scorer with
fifteen points, six rebounds, and two assists. Stephen Krawell added
fourteen points on six to eleven shooting, five rebounds and
two assists for him, and then we got a long
list of scorers here as Badgers got a lot of
their roster in Carter Gilmore, the third leading scorer nine points,

(23:26):
five rebounds, Marcus Silver eight points, two rebounds, one assist,
Nolan Winter eight rebounds or eight points, seven rebounds. Then
moving on down, Kamario McGee had a really solid game
five points, four rebounds, six assists for him in twenty
four minutes of action. Jack Janicki five points, two rebounds,

(23:48):
one assist in ten minutes, Xavier Amos four points, two rebounds,
Cameron Hunter three points, no rebounds, Daniel Freete gets points,
and Chris Hodges with the final point of the game,
hitting at the free throw line with one point. That
was the scoring for the Badgers.

Speaker 5 (24:09):
Yeah, a whole bunch of different guys got in the game,
and I would imagine that rotation narrows to just about
eight or nine players as the season goes on. The
Badgers are going to open their season on Monday, officially
with Holy Cross and then they'll get Montana State napol
Achian State.

Speaker 2 (24:23):
So those are gonna be three games that you're looking to.

Speaker 5 (24:25):
Go three to zero and certainly and look to get
feeling pretty good because after that you get Arizona on
November fifteenth, and then ut Rio Grande Valley.

Speaker 8 (24:35):
That's a powerhouse over there, a real row.

Speaker 5 (24:37):
Straight home games open your regular season, and then you
go on the road to West Virginia for the Greenbrier
tip Off. Two games in that that'll be UCF and
then LSU or Pitt and then back home again Chicago
State and Michigan. So you don't play a true road
game until Marquette on December seventh, and even that then
that is in the state of Wisconsin.

Speaker 4 (24:58):
Yeah, and that's going to be a very good, very
interesting game as Wisconsin will will take on Marquette there
on December seventh. But yeah, so you got what, you
got a ways to go until you get told the
Wisconsin is getting through River Falls tonight, and yeah, that
rotation is going to be brought down a little bit.

(25:19):
But Jack Janicky, I think, honestly with with you know
what he showed. You know, he was able to provide
a pretty good spark there in his ten minutes of
game action. He's someone I think we could maybe see
a little bit more. He red shirted last year, didn't
play at all, but you know, he's impressed early on
in camp and now in this game here. He also
showed us some really good flashes.

Speaker 5 (25:39):
Yeah, Jack Nicky's one of those guys you have no clue.
So Wisconsin has done it in the past. They've had
guys that are you know, walk Ons or nobody knows
who they are. Last year, John Blackwell was the third
of three highly touted freshmen. I shouldn't say even highly touted,
too highly touted. It felt like Winter and Gus y
Alden who's now with Seaton Hall. Where the two guys

(26:00):
you heard a lot about and then nothing about John Blackwell,
and he was the best of them all.

Speaker 4 (26:03):
Yeah, he really had a fantastic season last year and
now it looks like he's going to be in line
to be the starting point guard for Wisconsin this year.
Twenty four minutes in this game. You know some other
options there, Daniel Freetag just six minutes of game action,
Cameron Hunter just five minutes, and you know, they didn't
really have anything overwhelmingly positive in their performance. Free Tag

(26:28):
four turnovers in his six minutes. That's going to have
to be cleaned up. But Blackwell, you saw him a
lot last year, and I think we're going to see
him a lot more this year as well, especially now
without Chucky Hepburn as the lead point guard for this team,
So there is going to be some inexperience with some
of this group. You do have some experienced veteran leaders

(26:49):
coming back in Max klusmant in, Stephen Crowell in, Carter
Gilmour as well, even though he's not usually in the
starting lineup, So you got experience there. John Tanjay a
grad transfer, He's got a ton of experience coming over
from Missouri. So you have some some experienced leaders, but
you've got a lot of inexperience after that, a lot

(27:10):
of question marks, a lot of things that you really
don't know about this group, about what you're going to
get from guys like free Tag and Hunter and even
Nolan Winter in his second season. Now you know Janicki
now you know coming off of his red shirt. So
you got some questions coming up. But Wisconsin, they're able

(27:30):
to get the win tonight, and now coming up they've
got Holy Cross on Monday. Regular season. It's it's gonna
go fast. You know, we're gonna look back at this
and in you know, a couple months, it's gonna be like,
oh man, this thing really is flying by on us.

Speaker 2 (27:45):
You have no doubt about it.

Speaker 5 (27:46):
Last year, I remember we did what thirty odd postgame
shows together. However many games they played, we did a
post game show for every single one, So it does
go quick. This is the time of year where football
starts waiting down, only a few games left for that team,
and then back basketball. We'll officially take over and we'll
feel like holy Cow. It's already middle of winter.

Speaker 4 (28:04):
And we'll be saying holy Cross as Holy Cross comes
in to start the season on Monday. That's gonna be
here at the Cole Center. Tip Off is at seven.
Pregame coverage we'll begetting right here on thirteen to ten,
WIBA at six, and then of course stay tuned afterwards
for the jan K Security Solutions Basketball postgame Show.

Speaker 8 (28:23):
Once again.

Speaker 4 (28:23):
The final score Wisconsin seventy eight, UW River falls sixty
two for Nick Bruswitz.

Speaker 8 (28:28):
I'm Dave Gasper. Thank you for listening.

Speaker 4 (28:30):
