of baseball season, but we come off of a weekend
sweep of the Pirates and the Reds were off yesterday.
That gives us an opportunity today to fill in the
gaps a little bit elsewhere around the sports world. We
still have a lot to get to as it relates
to the Cincinna. He reads they are in action against

Not as flashy from a strikeout number standpoint, but from
an era standpoint, over three starts actually a hair better
than Hunter Green at a zero point nine to six era. Again,
Hunter Green strikeouts stand out thirty one strikeouts to whereas

Nick Lodolo has just eight to this point. Is Nick
Loodolo somehow under the radar. Charlie Goldsmith wrote a fantastic

as it pertains to this year's draft and NFL as

We'll get to latest player visits that the Bengals have

about offensive line and highlighted some of the failures that
this team has had in drafting offensive lineman over the

little bit of fun ranking the number one overall picks
in the NFL draft from two thousand to twenty twenty five.

I have to ask before you even get to any

up to space, They traveled to space, they floated around,
they took some pictures they took some videos and then
they came right back down from space. Now, I've never
been one that wanted to go to space in general.
I don't think going to space for ten minutes would

I think I would do it. Yeah. I think I
would try to do it. Man.

I was thinking about this because it's like, you know,
I get motion sick really bad, so I would definitely
be you know, I'd need a couple of dramamine in
my system and I would probably throw up.

Yeah, but the risk is pretty crazy.

Yeah, for ten minutes, I feel like I'd be pretty like,
pretty confident until the day of and then I'd have
knots in my stomach. Yeah, And you're kind of sitting
there and then you hear the rockets go and there's
no turning back at that point. But I think it
would be so cool to be floating around up there
and see Earth from space. I think it would be

worth it.

Yeah, I don't. I just I don't have an interest
to do it, and I don't think that just a
ten minute stay up there would change that for me.
Why not? It's only ten minutes, Yeah, I just I
think there's more risk in it than reward.

See, that's that's where we're different. I can see pictures
and videos of exactly what it looks like. Yeah, but
that's not experiencing it for myself.

There's a lot of other things on earth I'd like
to experience, Like what winning the lottery? See, all you
care about is money, I'd be one. What if they
paid you to go up? Now we're talking a different language. Okay,
now I'm interested. See now we're in two very different
parts of our life. You are a much much, much,
much much much older man than sure. Uh, and you've

got three little kids and a wife. Yeah I've got
none of that. Some would say that's a reason to
want to go to so so if you've got three little.

Kids, so the amount of people that are hurt if
something happens to me is much less than if something
were to happen to you.

Yeah. I also feel like I looked at that capsule,
and I watched the video of the women that went
up there. I don't know, if space is made for
six six it could be a little cramped on that capsule.

Yeah, it would definitely be cramped. Yeah, but I don't
know that I would care in the moment, I mean,
start to finish. How long does that trip take? I
think the whole thing was like fifteen minutes. They went up,
they floated around, they came back down.

That was it. It's pretty amazing. In and out home
for lunch.

And they've done this like two or three times now. Yeah,
Jeff Bezos went up one time. Didn't Michael Strahan go

Yeah, I don't know if. I don't know if that's
in the cards for me yet. I think I would
try it, all right, I think I would. What about
the listeners? I would hate it as it's happening. I would.

it would be the coolest four minutes of my life
floating around and the other seven zero gravity. You want

If that's cool, what's the most exhilarating like feeling of
your life, Like, what was the experience that gave you

Man, I don't know, adrenaline rush, Like I feel like
roller coasters already do that for me, and I don't

I'm not crazy about roller coasters either.

sickness thing. I'm just happy it's over as much as
I'm like, oh, I love that experience, sure, Like what
was what was like what was your heart rate like
when you went into the game against the Saints.

It was fast? I mean it was that was a
that had to feel pretty crazy, right, Yes, but in
that sense, like you just you resort back to everything
you've done up to that point and it kind of
calms yourself down. If I've never been to space, or
like I'm on a roller coaster, like in going into games,
I knew I was in ultimate control because of the preparation.
Like if I'm on a roller coaster, I don't I

have no say. Like I've told the story before we
we we used to go to to King's Island as
a team when I was at UC and position groups
had to ride a ride together, and the position group
for quarterbacks they drove. They they chose drop zone. That's
child abuse, by the way, making kids do that. And
one of the guys that was in the quarterback room

as we started to go up, clicked my seat belt.
Now the seat belt is like the third extra precaution
on that, but still, I mean my heart weight rate
was racing on that till I finally got to click
back in.

Yeah, that's just first of all, that's just not someone
you want another part of your life. Correct, Like, people
like that are not good people and you want to
keep your distance from them, Thank you. But yeah, do
you ever hear people talk about a runners high? Yeah, Like,
I've experienced that once or twice in my life, and
that's a cool feeling. It's like maybe those people that

are like marathon runners, you know, those type of people.
That's some pretty crazy feeling.

could ever experience a high while running.

It's not it doesn't happen while you're running. I think
it's like the afterwards.

what do you think jd Vance's heart rate was yesterday?
As the National Championship trophy came tumbling apart, probably paled
and comparison to mine. When I saw him try to
pick it up, wasn't it great? Look, keep your hands

Austin was the fact that the number eight overall pick,
Sadanna Prince, did not get drafted. She was the number
eight overall prospect according to a lot of WNBA accounts,
and people were expecting to see her get drafted last night.

But she is going through right now domestic abuse allegations
and that was enough, even though she is six'. Seven
that was enough for every team in the first and
second round to pass over her last.

he is and trusts his, STUFF i think you're seeing
the guy that's taking that leap from first Time All
star last year to Possible Cy Young award winner this.
YEAR i look at the odds last, night he's right

the Cy. Young SO i THINK i think mixing in
the splitter this, year having confidence and now being a
three pitch, pitcher but ALSO i think just simply at
this point of his, career understanding what he has and
the trust to throw it in the zone at all

his pitch count and guys would start to hit, him
was that he just nibbled too. Much now he attacks
the zone, relentlessly AND i think it's led to its

but his run goes back more than just the start
of this. Season it goes back to almost half of

last season as. Well so it feels. Sustainable it feels
like a guy with, confidence and it almost feels like
now he fully trusts his arsenal and the arsenal has
expanded a little bit here in the last couple of,
years and it looks like a guy now that he
compete for a Cy.

Young he's also done it by throwing the most innings
of any starter that's made four starts up to this,
point so it's not like he's getting five in and
getting out of. There he's also eaten up some innings
for The Cincinnati, reds AND i Think joe in doing
so so much attention has been on how great he's,
been and the strikeout numbers are, High he's actually not
even best on his team from an era. Standpoint that's

the guy that's throwing tonight And Nick ldolo who only
has eight strikeouts through three stars. Arts but is the
greatness and How Hunter green gets it? Done is that
it maybe a reason why That nicolodolo flies under the

AND i always find it fascinating with an athlete at
his level can kind of speak into existence what the
next level of his game's going to. Be and he

talked about that in spring, training about the idea that
and he's always been very open with the idea that
he wants to be the ace of the, staff he
wants to be The All, star he wants to win the,
awards but he has to earn that. Stuff AND i
think that was the correct perspective for a guy like,
him who was drafted as high as he, was who
was given the fanfare he was when he was such

a young, player for him to understand the progression and
understand the idea of earning. It and he has gone
out and done, it and he kind of in a
way called a shot to spring on what he wanted
to improve and he's done it so. Far but you
mentioned just in your question there About Nick. Lodolo THAT
i found fascinating About nick through his first three starts
is that he's faced some decent teams RIGHT i, mean

he's faced The giants twice in The Milwaukee brewers that
his three, stars and he's going only giving up two
earned runs in more than eighteen innings. Picks but the
strikeout numbers are, down and that's fine if he's getting
the results he's. Getting because we always looked at him
as almost a nine to ten strikeout per nine inning
kind of. Guy he hasn't been that so far this.
