Services studios.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
Well, good morning, five am is our time here in
Houston's Boring News. I'm Jimmy Barrett along with Sheriff Ryer.
Among her top stories this hour, Trump's town hall versus
Kablo's one on one with Brett Bear, illegals a bit
registering on Facebook to vote for Harris and coming up
at five oh eight, about one third of all products
produced are victims of shrink flation. Details in the minutes ahead.
(00:41):
And you're in Houston's Borning News. First you get to
got that morning drive. You can register, you can do
something on Facebook that's insane.
Speaker 4 (00:48):
All right, let's go down your East Text freeway. Now,
I'm a big shot, but I'm on parole from the tollway.
Speaker 5 (00:53):
So I took the East text this morning and it
wasn't too bad.
Speaker 4 (00:56):
In fact, if you're coming down from Roman Force, let's
go back to the New Hay Here, Flying Jay, what's
you doing this morning? We look good on your East
texts all the way down past the North Belt, past
the Cemetery and we're looking good into downtown twenty minutes
from Humble End. Rest of our freeways are chilly and
they rock. I'm Skymichael the Generator Supercenter dot Com Traffic Center.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
You have a totally patrol, you know.
Speaker 5 (01:18):
Yeah, they're like Barol officer looking for me.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
Got a report to the Parole Officer Club. Check in
from our KTRH top tanks Defenders twenty four our weather
Center Sunday height seventy six for today, so very nice.
We'll get the latest on the forecast with the weather
Channel Terry Smith coming up in about nine minutes right
now fifty at your official severe weather station, News Radio
seven forty k TRAH.
Speaker 6 (01:39):
Kids.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
Time now for the news. Here's Sheriff Ryer and good morning.
Speaker 7 (01:43):
Everyone is Sound five o two on news Radio seven
forty KTRH. And our top story of this there, well,
we get to compare and contrast.
Speaker 8 (01:49):
Now we are going to end all sanctuary cities immediately.
Speaker 9 (01:55):
We're going to end down because they're really He's had
an executive order.
Speaker 10 (01:59):
You do that?
Speaker 11 (02:00):
Really, I could deal with an executive voder.
Speaker 7 (02:02):
Donald Trump at the first of two town halls that
he hosted yesterday promising to end sanctuary cities on Fox.
He also did a town hall for Univision, And then
there was Kamala Harris, who refused to answer Brett Bear's
question how many illegal aliens have come in under her
watch as borders?
Speaker 12 (02:22):
Are you know what I'm going to talk about?
Speaker 11 (02:24):
Yeah, but you're just a number. Do you think it's
one million?
Speaker 13 (02:27):
Three million?
Speaker 12 (02:28):
Brett?
Speaker 14 (02:28):
Let's just get to the point, Okay. The point is
that we have a broken immigration system.
Speaker 7 (02:35):
Just one of many questions she refused to answer directly,
her campaign, calling that interview by the way, in ambush,
they agree to it. We'll have more on that interview
and reaction to it at five point thirty. More polling
problems for Harris too. Newest numbers from Fox Now put
Trump ahead by two points fifty to forty eight percent.
It's five oh three. Despite the mainstream media spin we've
(02:59):
had to undergo for years, there's even more evidence that
illegal aliens are registering to vote in American elections, and yes,
to vote for Harris.
Speaker 15 (03:10):
Not only is this happening, but the Democrats want to
use it to their advantage.
Speaker 16 (03:13):
The Democrats are quite aware of the non citizen votes
and are engaged in machine type politics to feel those
votes to save their very unpopular politicians.
Speaker 15 (03:23):
William Dean, founder of Alipak, told KTRH that we need
stronger laws and enforcement to stop this.
Speaker 16 (03:28):
Yet to see legal for a non citizen diregster and vote.
But if that person checks the yes I'm a citizen box,
there is no citizenship verification.
Speaker 15 (03:36):
OLIPAK has launched the website non Citizen voters dot Com,
which exposes the non citizen voter crisis Ethan Buchanan News
Radio seven forty KRH.
Speaker 7 (03:45):
And the lack of the Department of Justice and the
FEDS and dragging it down. Then there's this too. Money
meant for border security winds up with FEMA, which then
uses it to advance the Biden Harris regimes open border policies.
See how oh it just does the spend there.
Speaker 17 (04:03):
Is this this true? It really doesn't surprive me. It's
just more political maneuvering by I get by the administration
to achieve their their goals.
Speaker 7 (04:15):
Former US Marshall Robert Almonte he says, because of Biden
and Harris, every state is now a border state. Daily
Mail reports the violent gang trend de Aragua has taken
over four apartment complexes in San Anjonio, committing the same
violence there that we've seen in videos from Aurora, Colorado.
It is now five oh four. As you send your
(04:37):
kids off to school today, you want to know about
the incomes of some Texas public school administrators.
Speaker 11 (04:46):
Some of them pull in more than the governor.
Speaker 18 (04:49):
That person who is now retired from Cyprus Fairbanks IENs.
Speaker 19 (04:53):
He made more than a half million dollars last year.
Speaker 9 (04:57):
James Kinterra, the Texas Public Policy Foundation says lawmakers need
to take care of this next year.
Speaker 18 (05:03):
That's time for strong legislative reforms to rain in excessive
compensation growth at the local level.
Speaker 9 (05:10):
Hisd's Mike Miles also made more than Governor Abbott last year,
three hundred and eighty thousand dollars. Cliff Saunders News Radio
seven forty KGRH.
Speaker 7 (05:19):
You know it was passed way back when into law.
Is a funding arm for Texas education, but the Texas
Lottery contributions to educational fund to education. Overall, it's meager.
Despite having his second best year ever in sales, the.
Speaker 20 (05:37):
Lottery, during the course of its life is constantly under
fire for one thing or another. There's not going to
be a changed in the lottery, and there's a ceiling
for how much they're going to be able to generate
for education, and it's ever going to be that high.
Speaker 7 (05:50):
Yeah, it goes into the general fund and then they
take it out. Janueal Career with the Texas Scorecards says
the lottery actually gave about two billion dollars to education
and veteran in services, roughly one percent of the state budget.
It's now five oh six. Not a peep from mainstream
media about this. The FBI went back and revised its
(06:11):
report of the lower violent crime for twenty twenty two
that they alleged and now shows that it didn't go down.
It actually rose by four point five percent. Unless the
course of the governor gets involved, well, Texas will put
Robert Robertson to death tonight. It would be the first
execution in this country in a shaken baby syndrome the case.
(06:33):
There's been a bipartisan call though to stop this execution,
which includes the detective who actually arrested him.
Speaker 21 (06:39):
He's an innocent man and we are very close to
killing him for something that he did not do.
Speaker 7 (06:46):
A state House panel voted unanimously to subpoena Robertson today,
and that's just hours after the Texas Board of Paroles
denied him clemency. It's now five oh seven. Israel's retaliation
again to ron for a missile attack earlier this year
this month appears imminent.
Speaker 22 (07:06):
American officials reportedly expect Israel's counterattack to happen sometime before
election day here in the US. It could further grow
the conflicts in the Middle East, making it an even
bigger issue.
Speaker 12 (07:17):
For voters as presidential election.
Speaker 7 (07:19):
Foxes Christina Coleman reporting Houston. Roncas played their final game
of the preseason tonight, hosting San Antonio coverage six point
thirty on Sports Talk seven ninety. I'm shepra Fryar on
News Radio seven forty KTRH.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
What happened, Why it happened, Jimmy barrettan sheriff Fryar, explain
it now back to Houston's Morning News.
Speaker 3 (07:42):
Five oh seven Here on Houston's Morning News. Shrank flation
one third. Approximately one third of roughly one hundred common
consumer products tracked by Lending Tree have shrunk in size
or servings since twenty twenty. The worst defenders, the ones
that should make us the most upset our household paper
(08:03):
products like toilet paper and paper towels. Not only has
the price gone through the roof for these items, but
you're not getting as many, for example, for as many
single pieces of toilet paper with your average roll anymore.
That's gone down your the size of the paper towels
you're buying has has decreased, but you're paying that much
(08:26):
more for it. Why why why the paper products?
Speaker 6 (08:30):
Why?
Speaker 3 (08:31):
Why do you think the paper products have been hit
worse than just about anything else? Get any idea on
that share.
Speaker 7 (08:39):
I don't have an idea exactly. I just know that
it has to be transported. They're on a whole lot
of local paper plants, so people who and when there's
suddenly this rush and the demand, you know, price goes
with demand a lot.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
I wonder if this is again one of the I mean,
we were just talking about this when we had the
threat of the port striking. There was a run on
grocery stores all around the country, people buying up toilet
paper and paper towels, even though those items were not impacted.
But I think we have proven as a society that
we are willing to pay more for it, that it's
(09:14):
a necessity to.
Speaker 7 (09:15):
Say it's a necessity, we have to have it. And
if the size of individual sheets are not as thick
and are smaller, well that means you're using it that
much faster, so you have to buy that much more
exactly right, because it's not like a bag of doritos,
no where you can okay, you can't eat the air,
but you just don't eat as many chips.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
Speaking of doritos, Eric had found a story about how
evidently some of the lace products and said they're adding
they're going to add back. They're going to do the
opposite of shri inflation. They're going to add back some
chips to their bigger bags, at least in certain markets.
I think chip sales are down. I think people have
(09:58):
to take it a look at. Chips are one of
those things I think, unlike the paper towels and the toilett.
Speaker 7 (10:03):
You don't always think of it as a necessity.
Speaker 3 (10:05):
No, exactly, you can you can live without that, you know.
And I think what really got and I know I've
mentioned this before, but what really got my attention is
what now is called family size. You know, the normal
bag of chips is now family size, which used to
be the gargantuan bag of chips.
Speaker 7 (10:23):
I had problems with Freedo pie. I mean during COVID
when you couldn't get Friedo's, I thought I was going
to lose my mind.
Speaker 3 (10:32):
Did you walk the free doos just because you couldn't
get them?
Speaker 20 (10:35):
No?
Speaker 7 (10:36):
I eat when the weather gets cold, I eat chili.
I make chili.
Speaker 3 (10:40):
I do too.
Speaker 7 (10:41):
I love Freedo pie, but I haven't had it in
a long time. I got a lot of chili.
Speaker 3 (10:47):
That would be a good time to make it, because
it's a little chili here this morning.
Speaker 7 (10:50):
Yes it is.
Speaker 3 (10:51):
Speaking of which, we'll get the traffic in weather together
to see what's going on with first sky Mike is here.

we've got some forties and some fifties this morning. Definitely

It's Houston's Morning News, brought to you by New South

info you need to take on the day.
Speaker 3 (12:50):
Tell you what there was amazing contrast between the Trump
town hall in the Kamila Harris one on one with
Brett Bear. If you had to guess going into it,
or if you were to ask somebody who didn't have
a dog in the hunt on this one who they
thought would be combative and who they thought would be
friendly and engaging and warm, you probably would have They
(13:11):
probably would have guessed that that Harris would have been
the one that was engaging in warm and Trump would
be combative. Right, It was the complete opposite. Yesterday. She
did not like being answered direct questions where she was
not allowed to just give her generic words, Salid answer.
She didn't like it at all, So we'll share a
little audio from that coming up next. First, though, let's
do a little traffic and weather together as we check
(13:33):
out the drive once again with Skymie.
Speaker 5 (13:35):
Now it's almost slinky time.
Speaker 4 (13:36):

a briefer version, obviously, you know we have time lives
staring our newscast. Yes, of what of the exchange between
Brett bhar and Kamala Harris on the illegal alien numbers.
Here's the long version. You get a chance to see
just how unwilling she is to answer the questions on
(15:20):
illegal immigration.
Speaker 11 (15:21):
How many illegal immigrants would you estimate your administration has
released into the country over the last three and a
half years.
Speaker 14 (15:30):
Well, I'm glad you raised the issue of immigration because
I agree with you it is it is a topic
of discussion that people want to rightly have and you
know what I'm going to talk about.
Speaker 6 (15:41):
Yeah, but you're just a number.
Speaker 11 (15:42):
Do you think it's one million?
Speaker 13 (15:43):
Three million?
Speaker 12 (15:44):
Brett.
Speaker 14 (15:45):
Let's just get to the point, okay. The point is
that we have a broken immigration system that needs to
be repaired.
Speaker 11 (15:52):
So you're all Land Security secretary, so that.
Speaker 12 (15:54):
Eighty I'm not finished. We have a we have a
six million.
Speaker 11 (16:00):
People have been released into the country. And let me
just finish. I'll get you the question. I promise you.
Speaker 12 (16:04):
I was beginning to answer.
Speaker 11 (16:06):
And when you came into office, your administration immediately reversed
a number of Trump border policies. So, looking back, do
you regret the decision to terminate remain in Mexico? At
the beginning of your administration.
Speaker 14 (16:20):
The first bill, practically within hours of taking the oath,
was a bill to fix our immigration system.
Speaker 11 (16:27):
This, ma'am. It was called the US's and Citizenship Act
of two thousand and twenty one. Essentially, I've wait a
citizenship for the I finished.
Speaker 12 (16:36):
I finished responding for you, but you have to let
me finish.
Speaker 11 (16:39):
You had the White House and the House and the Senate,
and they didn't bring.
Speaker 14 (16:42):
Up responding to the point you're raising, and I'd like
to finish this, ma'am. We recognized from day one that
to the point of this being your first question, it
is a priority for us as a nation and for
the American people, and our focus has been on fixing
(17:03):
a problem.
Speaker 3 (17:05):
But she never gets.
Speaker 7 (17:06):
Around giving him a pathway to citizenship. Exactly, come on
in and we'll make you all Americans.
Speaker 19 (17:12):
No will will.
Speaker 3 (17:13):
I will say this, And you and I have talked
off the air about Breadbear before and where he's at politically.
Speaker 7 (17:18):
He played it a lot storter than I thought he would.
Speaker 3 (17:21):
I thought he did a help of job. I thought
he did a help of job. He was willing to
ask tough fut.
Speaker 7 (17:25):
I'll never forgive him, though, for what they pulled in
Arizona in twenty twenty, killing that race when you still
had six hours left to vote. What in the hell
did they know?
Speaker 3 (17:34):
I agree, I agree, but I have even the devil
gets credit every now and again, and he gets he
gets credit for two things. Number One, asking difficult questions
that the rest of the mainstream media was unwilling to ask,
and trying to hold her feet to the fire, trying
to make her answer the questions, although clearly, as you
can tell, she didn't. But here's the good news. If
you're watching it and you care about what answers are,
(17:57):
you realize you're not getting any answers.
Speaker 7 (17:59):
Maybe unless you're just already over the edge and you
just love Kamala.
Speaker 3 (18:02):
In that case, you probably didn't watch it. Now there's you.

Good morning. It's five thirty one on news Radio seven
forty KTRH and our top story this hour.
Speaker 11 (21:16):
Well Biden concerns rue.
Speaker 12 (21:18):
Joe Biden is not on the ballot. I understand Donald Trump.
Speaker 7 (21:21):
Is an evasive Kamala Harris she talked tough sat down
with Fox for her first interview on that network, refusing
to answer though many of Brett Bear's questions she just
wanted to spar with him instead, including this one, by
the way, about how she covered for Joe Biden's cognitive fitness.
Speaker 11 (21:41):
You met with him at least once a week for
three and a half years. You didn't have any concerns.
Speaker 14 (21:48):
I think the American people have a concern about Donald Trump.
Speaker 7 (21:51):
She showed up fifteen minutes late for the interview, and
that meant that had to cut it down. It was
supposed to be a thirty minute spot. Because of course
they edited it down. It was only twenty minutes when
they finally aired it. After watching it for twenty minutes,
Eric Trump said Americans should be petrified of a potential
Harris presidency.
Speaker 27 (22:13):
There was nothing about that interview that showed any kind
of strength, any kind of backbone.
Speaker 7 (22:19):
Trump was on the ingram Angle now five point thirty two, Well,
there are multiple reports not only is Joe Biden still
angry at Harris for taking his spot shoving him out,
he's also maybe trying to sabotage your campaign.
Speaker 13 (22:35):
And sure it's not a surprise to political commentator Sylvio
Canto Junior.
Speaker 28 (22:41):
Somebody's going to write a pretty interesting book in about
ten years. And if you're President Biden, you have to
be angry with the way you were treated.
Speaker 13 (22:48):
The real question is is Biden even capable of doing
any damage.
Speaker 6 (22:53):
That's a very good question.
Speaker 28 (22:54):
I don't know how much he's on the level anymore.
Speaker 6 (22:57):
I think the bottom.
Speaker 28 (22:58):
Line is these two people don't like each other. And
it goes back to the campaign in twenty twenty when
she accused him of being the racist.
Speaker 13 (23:04):

Speaker 7 (23:12):

of America? Where is Jill Biden in the kitchen? I
don't know she was running the cabin at the last time.
I look, don't know what's she doing. Five point thirty
three is our time we got to bid. Another sign
of trouble for the left. Democrat voter registration and key
swing states it's declining. It's not as high as it's been.
(23:35):
Political strategist vlad Davidik says it could be a sign
for November.
Speaker 19 (23:41):
If you look at the trend, what it shows is
more voters are leaving the Democrat Party rather than a
huge surge in the Republican registration. And those changes reflect
registered Democrats switching to the GOP because they just the
values are no longer reflecting their core beliefs.
Speaker 7 (23:57):
Yeah, he says, Republicans have caught on to and caught
up to the Democrat push to vote. They're maximizing those returns.
Now it's five thirty four.
Speaker 29 (24:08):
We want them to come in, but they have to
come in legally. They have to love our country, they
have to love you, love our people.
Speaker 7 (24:14):
Donald Trump at a town hall on Univision last night,
talking about the Biden Harris border disaster, and new research
from the Brookings Institute reveals that Harris could actually be
import more than twelve million more illegal aliens during a
four year term if you give it to her. New
polling from Marquette University calls this race a dead heat
(24:36):
economy the issue people most care about, followed by border
security numbers so bad for Democrats now that whatever lead
Harris might have had, it's actually been wiped out. Unlike
the massive positive polling for Hillary Clinton in twenty sixteen
and Joe Biden four years ago, she's not that positive anymore.
Speaker 30 (24:57):
Clinton was ahead of Trump I like about five point,
Biden ab eight points, and Harris is about one and
a half point, though he is significantly underperforming Clinton, who lost,
and Biden, who barely won.
Speaker 7 (25:09):
American thinkers Brian jundav He told Kati Ragi thinks Trump
could be ahead by as many as three points in
the popular vote. So the Harris campaign scrambling now tells
the Wall Street Journal that is very ballyhooed opportunity for
black men entrepreneurs only agenda. Well, now they've decided maybe
it better be open to all Americans, and they say
(25:32):
it will be on a quote race neutral basis. Secret
Service issue is a six step guide to prevent mass shootings.
The agency is still under fire for botching security in Butler,
Pennsylvania July thirteen and in Florida in September and the
two Trump assassination attempts. So now they call it mass shootings.
(25:52):
Five point thirty six is our time climate change ground.
Guess what they come up with now? Their latest demand
slowed down those airplanes.
Speaker 31 (26:02):
A study from the University of Cambridge on cutting carbon
emissions recommends reducing airplane speeds to burn less fuel. Aviation
consultant Mike Hatton says this one required redesigning all planes.
Speaker 32 (26:13):
Redesigning would cost millions of dollars per airplane. Who's going
to pay for those millions of dollars? The airlines is
going to be the government. It's going to raise the
costs of airplanes. You can see there's a problem there.
Speaker 31 (26:24):
He also notes it would keep planes in the air longer,
increasing congestion and causing more delays at already crowded airports.
His verdict, it's not feasible. Cory Eelson New's Radio seven
forty ktrh.
Speaker 7 (26:36):
It's five thirty six and in Austin, big question here
about the right you have to control your own body.
Oh yeah, Now I'm not talking abortion here. Police and
Austin are extending now they're no refusal DWI initiative. It's
no longer just for select weekends, is now all year round.
Speaker 33 (26:58):
APD sees driving as an increasing risk and then contributing
to traft fatalities, speeding, unsafe driving, and other things. So
this is a way to try to tamp that down,
try to bring those statistics down.
Speaker 7 (27:11):
Yeah, except they want to stick needles in your body
and draw your blood. Matt mccobac with Save Austin. Now
under no review, so police can get a blood search
warrant to draw blood samples. Quote, when an arrested driver
refuses to submit to that blood alcohol test, wouldn't you
(27:32):
want to have your doctor or your lawyer present. After
years of delays, yesterday was the official groundbreaking for the
North Freeway I forty five overhaul.
Speaker 34 (27:41):
This is a long overdue project. This has been in
a log gym for a while, tied up with a
lot of different legal issues. But now drivers can finally
look forward to the day when this opens.
Speaker 7 (27:52):
Terry Hall with Texas Turf. Completion date is supposed to
be twenty forty two. Jimmy, We're going to hold them
to it. Texans defensive end. What will Anderson Junior? He's
been named the AFC's Defensive Player of the Week. He
picked up three sacks against the Patriots Texans in Green
Bay on Sunday. I'm Sherby Fryer on news Radio seven
forty k TRH.
Speaker 35 (28:14):
Keeping you in the know all the information in real
time and in the now, right now, news Radio seven KTRH.
Speaker 3 (28:24):
What does this say about Americans that Butterball thinks they
can sell a whole lot of turkeys if they put
it in a bag and say cook from frozen. In
other words, you know, we realize how hard it is
for you to remember to thaw your turkey. Therefore, go
ahead and cook it while it's frozen.
Speaker 7 (28:44):
You know, it's done so much. It's having the room
to do it. You know, it's recommended you though it
in your refrigerator, right, you know. Not liking how big
is your on the thing, Well, if you're going to
roast a turkey, you might as well make sure you've
got plenty of that's my attitude.
Speaker 3 (29:01):
You like twenty five pounders, then well I don't like them.
Speaker 7 (29:04):
Too big because they're not as tasty. But you know,
when you're feeding a crowd, that's what a turkey is
all about. That's what thanks it's all about. Yeah, I
get a good sized turkey.
Speaker 23 (29:13):
It's just you've got other things in your refrigerator because
you're getting ready for all those other.
Speaker 7 (29:16):
Things you've got to make.
Speaker 3 (29:17):
That's why you need more than one fridge.
Speaker 7 (29:19):
The grocery. Yeah, you've been to the grocery store.
Speaker 3 (29:21):
Yeah, that's why we have more than one fridge comes
in handy from time to time.
Speaker 7 (29:25):
But they're just getting kind of blair bleak at our house.
Speaker 3 (29:27):
Here's here's what is kind of you know, I find
kind of silly about this whole thing though, Uh, butter
ball has obviously they're they're they're trying to appeal to
a certain crowd that that you know, wants the convenience
of not having to thaw the turkey and deal with
pulling the neck and the giblets out and all that
kind of stuff. So what they've done is they've they've
stuck it in a bag and basically said, you just
(29:50):
take it out of the freezer and put it right
in the oven. Now you can do that technically with
any turkey. It all it all that happens is is
that it takes about fifty percent more time to roast
a turkey to completion when you start frozen versus starting
thawed out. There's something about it just seems wrong to
(30:14):
me about taking a frozen turkey and sticking in the oven.
You know, well, it's frozen by the end of the day.
The only thing that really changes is is the cooking time.
You know, you're trying to get the temperature of the
turkey to one hundred and sixty five one hundred and
seventy degrees and and whatever it takes to get there
is however long it takes, depending upon the condition of
turkey and your.
Speaker 7 (30:34):
I have I love it, I love it turkey best
turkey I ever made when I brind it, But I
bitch you skylike is deep fried one?
Speaker 20 (30:40):
Right?
Speaker 3 (30:41):
That's that's that's the other thing you can't do with this.
Obviously it'll blow up. You can't brind it is it's dangerous. Yes,
you cut, you cannot stick it in the you know,
a bat full of peanut oil to fry it. You
can't know. You can't do any of those things. Five
forty one time for Traffic and Leather together.
Speaker 6 (30:56):
Did that.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
One of my father in laws did that, did the
deep fried and deep was really good too.
Speaker 5 (31:01):
He was kind of a redneck and he was he
would make gets stuff.
Speaker 3 (31:04):
I've never had deep freight turkey. I know that sounds crazy,
but I've never had it. I'm tried some time.
Speaker 5 (31:09):
That sounds good.
Speaker 4 (31:09):
We'll get together, let's do let's do some south side.
First of all, if you're coming up from Brazoria County,
cover your eyes, Terry, you don't need to see this.
Speaker 5 (31:18):
There's Stephen F. Austin.
Speaker 4 (31:19):
We're looking good now in bounds. She doesn't need to
see that past Manvil. Now we're twenty one minutes up
into the canyon northbound.
Speaker 5 (31:26):
We're good.
Speaker 4 (31:27):
Also, golf Freeway, rocking along Galveston Causeway. That water looks
cool too, coming up from galves Stun. We're looking good
all the way up into I don't even have the
scooch around park Place.
Speaker 5 (31:37):
Wow, look at you go, Golf Freeway and Southwest Freeway.
Speaker 4 (31:40):
You twenty two minutes said, I don't even have a
Schulenberg festival.
Speaker 5 (31:44):
All I've got is ghetto Dave. This morning on the
North Freeway, Hey.
Speaker 20 (31:47):
M, I zoomed in from junction eight thirty and no
back hords, lives, no tickets.
Speaker 36 (31:52):
Back around Greens Road, there was two Trader box trucks
on the side.
Speaker 4 (31:56):
I think one of them may just be assisting the
other one that had a possible and his span belt.
That's southbound, so look out right before the beltway. Bananas
ticker extra points for bourbons. Dave Terry, are you feeling okay?
Because have you ever seen a movie called Sybil? One
day she was like this in the next station. You know,
she wasn't doing very well. I'm in the classic GMC
traffic center.
Speaker 3 (32:17):
Who you, Jimmy, who are you accusing of being Sybil
Terry or Mother Nature? It's like, where are we going
with this? From Marquis our Age well said Generator super Center,
twenty four hour Weather Center. I think he's trying to
say that, you know that we're seeing some real ups
and downs as far as the temperatures go.
Speaker 6 (32:35):
Here.
Speaker 3 (32:35):
Yes, you know, yesterday versus today versus tomorrow.
Speaker 23 (32:37):
Yes, Mother Nature is showing us some of her many moods,
and there are many of them, as we well know
here in Southeast Texas. Yeah, big Dosa, some cooler Canadian
air made its way across our area yesterday.
Speaker 7 (32:53):
You probably noticed it.
Speaker 23 (32:54):
You're certainly going to notice it this morning because these
temperatures are about fifteen twenty degrees cooler this morning. But
it's really going to be a nice day, nice stretch
of weather, lots of sunshine, and we do slowly recover
from all the chill mid to upper seventies today. Temperatures
tonight not quite as cold, still kind of chilly in
the fifties, but tomorrow close to eighty, and over the
(33:16):
weekend into Monday, highs will be in the low to
mid eighties, and that's where they're supposed to be this
time of year.

These headlines are responsored by Moral Mechanical. It was an
all women town hall on Fox yesterday, one of two
town halls Trump did, and he promised those women he
would keep their families in this country safe from crime,
and also promised he would keep men out of women's sports.

They like that.

Speaker 3 (35:34):
Danger was brought up to open up the Trump town
hall last night. The Democrats did a preept to have
tried to do a preemptive strike before the town hall
in Georgia by having their Senator Warnock put out a
warning how dangerous Donald Trump is. So they played that
for President Trump at the beginning of the town hall,
and of course he reacted to it.
Speaker 37 (35:54):
If you do not hope is a vote as a
vote for Donald Trump is to send this man wants
to closer to the White House, which finally, let me say,
will be literally dangerous. Were so much so many of
the people that we know dangerous as we've demonstrated for women.
But this man, let me remind the black men who
(36:16):
are listening to men of color, communities of color, he
will be dangerous.
Speaker 12 (36:22):
You are up with minority voters.
Speaker 6 (36:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 38 (36:25):
Vice President Kamala Harris is hurting right now in that
category of voting block. And they know all women are
at this town hall. This is a pre buddle from
a short time ago.
Speaker 8 (36:36):
Your reaction, well, I would say this, We just got
the endorsement of voter patrol all over I mean all
over the country, vorder patrol, virtually every sheriff's department, every
police department, the Fraternal Order of Police four hundred thousand police,
the biggest in the country.
Speaker 6 (36:53):
We have.
Speaker 8 (36:56):
We have every single I don't think they have a
policeman or a policewoman single.
Speaker 12 (37:02):
And we have the border.
Speaker 8 (37:04):
We have the safest border in the history of our country.
Now we have the most unsafe border in the history
of our country. So when you talk about safety, we
had it was just announced as you know, last week,
thirteen thousand and ninety nine murderers were released into our country.
Drug dealers, drug addicts, drug everybody is released into our country.
(37:24):
We've never had anything like this. We've never had a
mess like this. Six hundred and twenty five thousand criminals
released into our country along with twenty one million people.
We have no idea who they are. And you know,
that's just a SoundBite. I don't know this guy, but
he got lucky as hell to win. I'll tell you
that much. But it's a SoundBite that they like to use.
(37:44):
But remember this law enforcements with me one hundred percent,
and we have to keep our community safe, and we
have to take these murderers that they've allowed to come
through open borders without knowing.
Speaker 12 (37:55):
Anything about them. We have to take those people and
we have to remove them.
Speaker 3 (37:58):
We have to get them out of our country. I
think he did a pretty good job for reminding the
women there that they're all women. Yeah, they're calling they're
calling me dangerous, but you know, you letting, letting all
these people in. We don't know who they are. Why
do you think all the police officers, unions, one hundred.
Speaker 7 (38:13):
And sixty one thousand border patrol.
Speaker 3 (38:15):
Agents, why do you think they're Why do you think
they're endorsing me? Because you know, because what the Harris
administration would do is dangerous.
Speaker 7 (38:22):
I just want to give a quick tip to Harris Faulkner.
You know we talked about Brett Baer on Fox and
how he handled that. It was Harris Faulkner who handled
that entire town hall. Unfortunate name, Harris, but whatever.

Top story this hour Donald Trump talking border security. It
was a Fox News All Women town hall yesterday detailing
how he would end sanctuary cities in this country.
Speaker 8 (44:06):
You could do it with the Aliens Act of seventeen
ninety eight. We can do things in terms of moving
people out. We can move them out of the sanctuary cities.
Speaker 7 (44:15):
Trump also addressed IVF and other concerns of women, particularly
before doing a town hall on Univision last night. Meantime,
Kamala Harra sat down also with Fox. Couldn't answer how
many illegal aliens have been released into this country on
her watch as borders are and she didn't like being
confronted with facts such as a so called border security
(44:39):
bill the White House pushed in twenty twenty one that
was all about amnesty.
Speaker 11 (44:46):
We went the White House and the House and the
Senate and they didn't bring.
Speaker 7 (44:49):
Up responding to the point you were raising. And I'd
like to finish, but she didn't. She never did answer
Brett Bear's question. We'll have more of that interview on
the fallout from coming up at six thirty. Her polling
problems are getting worse too, for a Kamala Harris. She
trails Trump now in the latest Fox News Bowl and
he has fifty to her forty eight percent. It is
(45:11):
national polling. Six ZHO three is our time non citizens
registering to vote. It is a bigger problem than mainstream
media wants to tell you. And Democrats are allowing it
all to happen if they're not speeding it up.
Speaker 16 (45:29):
Ohio, Alabama, and Texas I believe have removed over seventeen
thousand non citizen voters, and now we see the federal
government biding to protect those non citizen voters.
Speaker 7 (45:41):
Yeah, don't want to take their names off the voter rolls.
William Gean with the Americans for Legal Immigration Pack says
that the Democrats and Kamala Harris in particular, they have
to have those votes to win. They're relying on it.
Biden Harris regime signs off on all of it too.
Female allegedly used border security funding to keep the border open.
Speaker 27 (46:03):
Money meant for border security ended up being used by
the agency to further allow for more illegal immigration.
Speaker 17 (46:09):
Typical politic for their moving money around to achieve what
they want to achieve.
Speaker 27 (46:15):

Speaker 18 (47:21):
The very first thing that legislators ought to consider is
instituting a salary cap for PP administrators. No administrator in

Speaker 7 (47:34):
Yeah, well, governor's salary is one hundred and fifty three thousand.

billion going to education and veteran services.
Speaker 20 (47:55):
But when you look at the entire state budget, that's
less than one percent of the entire state budget.
Speaker 13 (47:59):
For ye, that's Daniel Greer with the Texas Scorecard, who
says this is not what Texans were promised.
Speaker 20 (48:06):
When the lottery was sold. Texans, it was going to
be a panacea. Well as a materialized. It's an agency
that has, over this man of its life, continually tried
to expand beyond its own rules.
Speaker 13 (48:17):
Bottom line, the lottery is costing Texans more than it's helping.

Speaker 7 (48:27):
It's now six oh six. Mainstream media claims violent crime
is down under Biden Harris. But the FBI just revised
their numbers from twenty twenty two and guess what they
weren't down, They were up four point five percent. Let's
see the best of the revisions coming forward. Bipartisan call
for Texas to stop today's execution of Robert Robertson, convicted
(48:49):
in the death of his two year old daughter back
in twenty twenty two. It would be the first execution
in this country for a case involving shaken baby syndrome.
Speaker 21 (49:00):
Alliance that we based our case on has disappeared. The
foundations of our case no longer exist.
Speaker 7 (49:09):
That's the detective who arrested him, Brian Forton, a state
House panel, though voted unanimously to subpoena robertson today. This
is after the Texas Border Paroles denied him clemency. We'll
keep you posted on that.
Speaker 2 (49:24):
The Rocas.
Speaker 7 (49:25):
Oh, I've got to get this in. A year after
leaving the Astros, former manager Dusty Baker complained about the
lack of freedom that he had, telling the Show podcast
he was only allowed to choose one member of his
own coaching staff. But Baker was hired just weeks before
spring training in twenty twenty. We'll point that out. Rocus

I'm Sherriff Fryar on News Radio seven forty KTRH.
Speaker 3 (49:57):
More with Jimmy Barrett and Sheriff Fryar. This is Houston's
morning News. Being upside down on a car Loan is
not a good thing. I think I'm sensitive to this
story because I've made all these mistakes in my youth.
You know, I bought cars that were too expensive and
I shouldn't have bought them. I if turned in cars
(50:22):
before they were paid off, where I owed more than
what the car was worth, and it got rolled into
the next loan, and what.
Speaker 7 (50:29):
Interest rate were you paying back in those days? I
know what I had to pay all.
Speaker 3 (50:34):
Yeah, you add all that together, and that's a recipe
for financial disaster. And we're seeing the same thing happening
again right now. In the three months ending September. This September,
twenty four point two percent of Americans who traded in
their car towards a new vehicle purchase owed more on
the trade in than what it was worth. It's about
one fourth of all cars that got traded in where
(50:54):
they were upside down and underwater this the other term
they use. That is up from eighteen point five percent
a year ago. Additionally, the amount they owed on the
trade in has climbed to a record high of six
four hundred and fifty eight dollars upside down. Now, a
lot of folks don't have sixty four hundred bucks to
(51:16):
throw it paying it off. So what happens It gets
rolled into the next loan and you start off with
a deficit of almost seven thousand dollars plus is worth
less than the moment you drive it off the showroom floor.
So again, that's a recipe for disaster car shoppers. The
other thing, they're getting into longer loan terms to try
to reduce the monthly payments. And even with the longer
(51:39):
loan terms, the amount of shoppers who are paying one
thousand dollars plus per month is at a record level.
Seventeen point four percent of all new car shoppers from
June through September have a car loan that has a
payment of more than one thousand dollars a month. Ouch.
Six ' ten is our time. Just do a little

Speaker 7 (53:26):
So but folks, the cold air is not going to
hang around very long. That's the nice thing.
Speaker 23 (53:32):
It is chilly this morning, but we got sunshine helping

how about supposedly that funds are being taken away from

start with FEMA, I guess, Robert, and reportedly taking funds
from border security to advanced open border policies the Democrats.
This administration has been very good at shifting money around,
(56:37):
hasn't it.
Speaker 45 (56:40):
Oh yeah, this is nothing new, and quite frankly, as
bad as it's new, there as alarming as it it
does not surprise me. This is something that's been going
on and uh you know, they're doing anything to you know,
just bring people into uh into our country. And what's
(57:01):
really alarming is they don't care who some of these
people are. We got some dangerous parrists coming in. We've
got some dangerous gang members from Venezuela up at ended
at our we gang that are killing people over here,
calling all kinds of harms. So said as it is,
it really doesn't surprise me.
Speaker 7 (57:20):
I think we've been talking about this since twenty sixteen.
You know, it's been eight years trying to sound the
alarm about all of this, and yet not only now
we're still doing having to do the same thing. You know,
when does it end? Or is it just so incredibly
corrupt at all levels that there's no way just stop it?
Speaker 6 (57:42):
Well, it is frustrating, There's no doubt about it. It
is frustrating.
Speaker 45 (57:46):
And what it's going to take is people like you
and I and all your listeners to demand change. That's
the only way things are going to change. Demand change
and do the best we can to try to get the.

Speaker 3 (58:18):
I don't know if you saw any of the interview
on Fox last night with Brett Baer and Kamala Harris,
and she got asked right up front just to just
to you know, ballpark, how many immigrants illegal immigrants they've
allowed into the country. She wouldn't even she couldn't even
try to fow the number. And my guess is the
number is so damn high she's afraid to say anything
(58:40):
that's exactly right. Nobody really knows.
Speaker 45 (58:44):
And you know, and I've been paying for a long
time and I've said it on on this radio show,
is that even.
Speaker 6 (58:51):
If we were to secure the.
Speaker 45 (58:52):
Border and make sure that you know, no bad people
are coming in and people are not entering illegally the
ones that are coming in or coming in legally, even
if we were to do that today, Uh, I'm sad
to say, but it would be too little, too late,
because the damage has already been done. So that's why
I think we need to focus on some national effort
(59:13):
to go after the worst of the worst, those that
we know are here or have come into our country
illegally that are really dangerous criminals. We need to get
them off the streets as quickly as possible. And our
to say, well, let's just go after all the all
the people that are here illegally and and and get them.
Speaker 6 (59:33):
I don't think that's a good idea.
Speaker 45 (59:34):
I think we need to focus on the worst of
the worst birth and then work our way down.
Speaker 7 (59:39):
But situation, go ahead, Robert, just about out of time.
They've been saying that a lot of illegals would be
self deporting when they find out that they can't get
the job so they don't get the welfare, that they
put a block on them being able to send any
money back home to their natives. I mean, do you
see a self deportation happening if you start round up
(01:00:00):
the worst of the worst and deporting them.
Speaker 6 (01:00:03):
No, not at all. That's laughable. They're not going to leave.
Speaker 45 (01:00:06):
I mean, even with not getting a job here, they're
going to find some kind of job with a private citizen.
They're not going to self deport I'll tell you that
they went to a lot of trouble.
Speaker 6 (01:00:16):
To get here. They're left faith that they're in the
greatest country of the world. Where would they.
Speaker 3 (01:00:20):

the greatest country in the world if we keep going
in this direction. Robert, thank you, appreciate it. Robert Delmonese,

not defend her record as vice president in a twenty

You and I leoth to know what I'm talking about.
You and I both know what I'm actually don't.
Speaker 6 (01:03:32):
What are you talking about?
Speaker 1 (01:03:33):
Whoa?
Speaker 7 (01:03:34):
She refused to answer many of Bear's questions, especially about
the border and what she knew about Joe Biden's cognitive issues,
the ones she said, Oh no, he's fine. Harrah's campaign
knows how bad it went, though how badly it went
publicly calling it at ambush.
Speaker 31 (01:03:53):
This was the first time the Vice president had to
answer for herself.
Speaker 27 (01:03:57):
She spent more time defending herself with Brett than she
as defending the actual border.
Speaker 7 (01:04:02):

Speaker 28 (01:04:31):
To be removed the way he was and then to
be replaced by someone who hasn't even gone through a primary.
I don't blame that Biden's for being angry with the
Hairs team.
Speaker 10 (01:04:40):
They should be.
Speaker 28 (01:04:41):
They were treated poorly, to say the least.
Speaker 7 (01:04:43):
He also says, considering Biden's mental decline, he's not sure
how much damage can actually be done by Biden. A
decline in Democrat registered voters now in swing states, it
could be a sign that that Blue wall is crumbling,
if not falling.
Speaker 47 (01:05:00):
The numbers are down by three hundred thousand in Pennsylvania,
and it's a bad omen.
Speaker 19 (01:05:04):
For them in a lot of states. Because voters have
to register by political parties, that's really the first gauge,
the first measurement we get towards voter enthusiasm.

Democrats have typically innovated these ideas different ways that they
can leverage to try to get voters out. For Republicans
assigned ways to optimize.

Harris further.

We want them to come in, but they have to

have to love you, love our people.
Speaker 7 (01:05:49):
I come here and commit crimes. New research from the
Brookings Institute reveals that Harris could import more than twelve
million more illegal aliens is in a four year term.
The latest Marquette University polling has his race as a
dead heat. But if the pass is any guide, Trump
is in better shape, then we probably think or no.
Speaker 15 (01:06:12):
Trump is doing better in the polls than twenty twenty
and twenty sixteen, and that's not all.
Speaker 30 (01:06:17):
I think Trump generally underperformed on the poll and will
probably be three or four points better than he is
showing in the polls.
Speaker 15 (01:06:26):
The American thinkers Brian Jundeff told KTRH. Trump has managed
to pull a lot of support from the Democrats.
Speaker 30 (01:06:32):

Speaker 7 (01:06:48):
Another sign that the Harris campaign is panicking, telling the
Wall Street Journal it's opportunity for black men agenda. Remember
how they announced that. Well, now they've decided they'd better
open it up to all America. They will, they say
a quote on a race neutral basis. If Harris wins
next month, there you go. Panderin six thirty five is

reduce the speed of planes as a way to cut
carbon emissions. This is a report out of Cambridge University.
Aviation consultant Mike Hatton says it runs into the law
of unintended consequences.
Speaker 46 (01:07:28):
By flying slower, you're going to have airplanes in the
air longer, Congestion is going to get worse. Couple that
with the growth forecast for the airline industry and I
think at this particular time it's not feasible.
Speaker 7 (01:07:40):
And on top of it, it would require redesigning airplanes
at a cost of millions of dollars per plane. In Austin,
the police department again, what are the consequences They're going
to extend their no refusal DWI blood drawing initiative to
being all year round. Matt mccoveac would say, if Austin says, well,
(01:08:01):
the intentions are good, isn't that the way it always is?
Speaker 33 (01:08:05):
You would hope that it would lead to more people
utilizing readily available ride share options like gouber and lyft.
Speaker 28 (01:08:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:08:14):
What about a government being allowed to draw your blood
without your permission no refusal? That's when police get a
blood search warrant, a search warrant for your blood to
draw your blood when an arrested driver refuses to let
them do it. Too bad, state, once do we will?
(01:08:34):
Six point thirty seven is our time. The long debated

We've been playing some highlights or low lights if you prefer,
from not only the Trump town hall, but also of
course from Kamala Harris's interview with Brett Baer on Fox.
You know, it got pretty confrontational from time to time,
and there were there were a couple of times where
she looked like she was just about ready to to
blow a gasket. I think one of those times was
(01:10:03):
when they played a clip of Jocelyn's mom testifying in
front of Congress about the murder of her daughter the
hands of due elitions. Yeah, exactly, and she about lost
it on that one. So let's take a listen to that.
Speaker 48 (01:10:17):
Because of the Biden Harris administration open border policies catch
and release, they were enrolled in the Alternatives to Detention program.
This meant that they were released into the United States.
It was not even a full three weeks later that
they would take my daughter, Jocelyn on Gray's life. I
believe the Biden Harris administration open border policies are responsible
(01:10:39):
for the death of my daughter.
Speaker 11 (01:10:40):
That's the early days. So do you owe them an
apology as well?
Speaker 12 (01:10:45):
I shall tell you that I am so sorry for
her loss.

I'm so sorry for her loss sincerely, But let's talk

does not want to participate in solutions.

Let's talk about that as well.

You said repeatedly that the border was secure, When in
your mind did it start becoming a crisis?
Speaker 14 (01:11:18):
I think we've had a broken immigration system transcending by
the way Donald Trump's administration even before. Let's all be
honest about that. I have no pride in saying that
this is a perfect immigration system.
Speaker 12 (01:11:31):
I've been clear. I think we all are that it
needs to be fixed.
Speaker 3 (01:11:36):
Yeah, what we disagree on is how to fix it.
Speaker 7 (01:11:39):
How are you want to fix it?
Speaker 3 (01:11:40):
She doesn't want to have an immigration that's how she
wants to Here's how we fix it, Kamala Hair says,
we will. We'll just get way of border patrol and
we want to.
Speaker 7 (01:11:47):
Have pretty words, no policy.
Speaker 3 (01:11:50):
We won't have a border and I'm really sorry you
lost your daughter, but it's not my fault, basically, is
what she's saying.
Speaker 7 (01:11:55):
Will participate in the solution of the problem.
Speaker 3 (01:11:58):
Right, Well, whose fault is that?
Speaker 7 (01:11:59):
Kamala Hair anticipated in the solution?
Speaker 23 (01:12:01):
What?
Speaker 3 (01:12:02):
Yeahticularly, I wish you would. We've got We've got a
wall and a lot of other things we can do
as part of the solution. Just force our nation's laws.
Let's start with that, all right. Six forty Time for

let's say from Berkshire or Seay, just watch out on
the right side. That's where the ramp enders, and you
know the drill already. We lose about a couple of
two minutes maybe on the ramp itself. On the West Sam,
(01:12:39):
I'm seeing a back up now right around West Road.
We may have had a stall momentarily, new wreck reported.
Let me share this with the TV ladies too. This

Speaker 28 (01:13:09):
I got up this morning, knows my tires were a
little low, so I pulled over at the gas station.

for a few folks this morning because of the cold
air all of a sudden.
Speaker 23 (01:13:35):
I know that always catches me off guard. That's the
fact that I have to wear layers. It's like, uh,
just how poorly do I dress?
Speaker 3 (01:13:45):
I think the top layer is a jacket today, don't you?
Speaker 7 (01:13:47):
Yes, Oh, totally agree.
Speaker 23 (01:13:49):
And then the big question is that short sleeves are
long sleeves underneath anyhow, Listen, even though it is chilly today,
it doesn't last very long. Our temperatures will be warming
up into the weekend and there's no rate around, so
you don't have to worry about that.
Speaker 11 (01:14:04):
Just what do I wear today?
Speaker 7 (01:14:06):
That's the big question.

Mid Hubber seventies today it is not as cold tonight,
it's still cool in the fifties, and tomorrow we start

Dave Portnoy has had enough of the gas lighting coming
from the Biden Harris folks, especially from Kamala Harris. Here's
what he Here's his message to young men who would
support Kamala Harris.
Speaker 49 (01:17:00):
The gas lighting that the left is doing with Kamala
Harris making it sound like she's some great groundbreaking candidate.
Speaker 1 (01:17:08):
She is the worst candidate to ever.
Speaker 5 (01:17:10):
Run for president ever.
Speaker 49 (01:17:11):
There's two people voting in this election, either voting for
Donald Trump. You like Donald Trump, or you hate Donald
Trump and you're voting against them. But Kamala Harris, let's
stop it. And what put this over the edge for me?
Last week I'm watching our campaign rally and she's up.
Speaker 11 (01:17:26):
There being like, we need to turn the page in America.
Speaker 49 (01:17:29):
It's time for a new way forward, and I'm your
candidate for change. And they're hoot and Hollard, who is
the sitting Vice President of the United States currently saying
she's the candidate for change. She is the worst presidential
candidate in the history of American politics.
Speaker 3 (01:17:45):
Honestly.
Speaker 49 (01:17:46):
Now, if you still want to vote for me because
I hate Trump that much and you can't stand you
think he's all this evil shit, do it. But stop
the gas lighting, please. The footage is there. She can't
answer simple questions. If you have any issues with the
last four years, that's her. I mean, I think entirely inevitable.
I mean, Dave's obviously very smart. He's not a conservative
(01:18:08):
or a publican or anything, but his instincts are you know,
from nobs. He's an entrepreneur, very successful one.
Speaker 50 (01:18:15):
But he also has a huge audience slash constituency of
young men who are really the people of the kind
that Kamala Harris, you know, hates most. And a lot
of this just comes down to subverbal cues like why
to working class people of all colors, by the way,
(01:18:35):
like Donald Trump, because they sense that in the end,
he kind of likes them, He doesn't hate them anyway,
doesn't have contempt for them. You know what, I mean,
if you've got two personal bankruptcies and are you know,
making child support payments that are between jobs. Do you
really think Donald Trump's like, you know, you deserve it,
hope you starved to death. Donald Trump's like, I get it,
you know what I mean, I understand how hard life
is your You know, Nephew Od's on Fennel. You think
(01:18:57):
Donald Trump's gonna be like, oh, Druggy, there's gonna be like, man,
that's awful that they're spending in this car. He has
like a gut level sympathy for struggling Americans. Do you
think Kamala Harris does I don't even need to make
the case, like to watch Kamala Harris. Do you think
that a single Barstool Sports fan like has you know,
the love of Kamala Harris?
Speaker 6 (01:19:16):
Are you joking?
Speaker 3 (01:19:18):
I'd say that's pretty a student observation right there. And
David Portanoy, I mean, he's absolutely right know what he
says about her. And again, you know, for whatever it's worth,
he influences the opinion of a lot of young men,
you know, the eighteen to thirty four year old men
who follow him and follow Barstools Sports.
Speaker 7 (01:19:35):
Some rumors that maybe she'd go on barstools sports.

Three million?
Speaker 12 (01:23:36):
Brett?
Speaker 14 (01:23:37):
Let's just get to the point, Okay. The point is
that we have a broken immigration system.
Speaker 7 (01:23:43):
Yeah, just one of many questions she refused to answer.
Her campaign, calling that interview and ambush we'll have more
on that and reaction. It's seven thirty. More polling problems
for Harris too. Newest numbers from Fox Now put Trump
ahead by two points fifty to forty eight. It is
seven o three. Mainstream media, there's spinning, but there's even
(01:24:05):
more evidence that illegal aliens are registering to vote in
American elections if they indicate their voting for Harris.
Speaker 15 (01:24:16):
Not only is this happening, but the Democrats want to
use it to their advantage.
Speaker 16 (01:24:20):
The Democrats are quite aware of the non citizen votes
and are engaged in machine type politics to field those
votes to save their very unpopular politicians.
Speaker 15 (01:24:29):

It's just more political maneuvering by I get by the

Former US Marshall Robert Almonte says, because of Biden and Harris,
every state is now a border state. It's now seven

why the Democrats are so opposed to it here in

brought in second best year ever in sales, So what
about all those contributions to education?
Speaker 5 (01:26:27):
Where are they?
Speaker 20 (01:26:29):
The Lottery, during the course of its life, is constantly
under fire for one thing or another. There's not going
to be a changed in the lottery, and there's a
ceiling for how much they're going to be able to
generate for education, and it's never going to be that high.

about two billion dollars to education and veteran services. Roughly,
it's one percent of the state budget. Of course, divided
between education and veteran services. It's now seven oh six. Well,
not a peep from the mainstream media about this. But
guess what. The FBI, which was bragging about his lower

violent crime in twenty twenty two, had quietly gone back
in and readjusted the figures. Now it shows violent crime
actually rose by four point five percent. Unless the courts

Speaker 51 (01:29:20):
Listen, I really feel in the last three hours like
the political wheel has turned and shifted. It was a
terrific performance. So let me just read you a quote
about it. She was combative and energetic. Has certainly landed
some blows on Donald Trump. That was brit Hume, Fox reporter.
Let me give you another one. She had a mission.
She wanted to go after Donald Trump and create a
(01:29:43):
viral moment.
Speaker 1 (01:29:44):
She may have gotten that.
Speaker 5 (01:29:45):
That was for Brett Baer, the guy who didn't, the

You know, she just she you know, whether or not does.
Speaker 52 (01:29:55):
The viewers you know, whether she changed any viewers' minds
on Fox isn't really not even relevant. The point is
that she went into the Lions then confident and strong,
and even if you disagree with her, being wrong and strong,
as Clinton said, is better than being weak and right.
Speaker 5 (01:30:10):
Right now, she looks strong and Trump looks weak.
Speaker 7 (01:30:13):
Okay, you in a party all the way?

then eastbound we're doing the same thing with a left
lane at Imperial Valley two ninety it's Audrey from Cyprus,
so we just hit a.
Speaker 42 (01:31:31):
Wall of break at Antwon and thirty fourth right before
that exit.
Speaker 5 (01:31:36):
There's nothing here.
Speaker 4 (01:31:37):
I don't know why people just freak out as they're
going down to uptown and Tip Lane.
Speaker 5 (01:31:41):
I've got Lance from Magnolia.
Speaker 6 (01:31:43):
Dude, LANs from Magnolia.
Speaker 25 (01:31:45):
I know we're on the North Houston Rosaline and somebody
decided to turn off the electricity.
Speaker 6 (01:31:51):
Huh all the traffic blots, you're out. Holy wow.
Speaker 5 (01:31:54):
All right, that's south of the Beltway.
Speaker 4 (01:31:56):
North of the Beltway, you're a little squishy right around
Cypress would endbound. I'm sky Oh, Terry, you know what
you do not want to do today, But you don't
want to ride a horse.
Speaker 5 (01:32:05):
I'm in the Generator Supercenter.
Speaker 4 (01:32:07):
Dot Com traffics there because when it cools off, horses are.
Speaker 3 (01:32:09):
Like, oh yeah, feeling good.
Speaker 5 (01:32:12):
Yeah, don't get on.
Speaker 7 (01:32:12):
They're feeling their own.
Speaker 3 (01:32:15):
They're feeling a few other things too. For mar Katie
our Age Top Tax Defenders twenty four, our weather Center.
Terry Smith is here, and so is the Chili temperatures,
but not for long.
Speaker 23 (01:32:24):
Yes, it's another cool day today, but we do gradually defrost.
We're going to head in the right direction, get back
to regular October. Here by the weekend, so that'll be good.
It is a little chilly today. If you're a horseback riding,
you might want to let that horse out in the
ring for a little bit and burn off some of
that energy. Temperatures today mid upper seventies, a little bit
warmer than it was yesterday afternoon, not as cold tonight,
(01:32:47):
in the fifties. Tonight it's still cool, but just not
like forties like it is this morning. Tomorrow up near eighty.
The weekend still sunny and dry, low to mid eighties
and mid eighties on Monday next week.
Speaker 3 (01:32:59):
As right down forty eight at your officials, Severe Weather station,

It's Houston's Morning News, brought to you Biden, New South
Windows solutions. Now back to Jimmy and Scherah with the
info you need to take on the day, a little
more trumptown Hall audio to share with you. And also
we're going to ask the question the New York Post
is asking, which is is President Biden so bitter about
being forced out of the race that he's deliberately sabotaging
(01:33:27):
the Harris campaign. More coming up first, we've got traffic
and weather together as we check out the drive once again.
Sky Mike is here.
Speaker 4 (01:33:34):
Forty nine north of the sam We've got a bit
of a scoots from nineteen sixty.
Speaker 5 (01:33:39):
You lose about three or four minutes.
Speaker 4 (01:33:40):
And also we've got traffic lights out, several of them
south of the Beltway. That would be Lance from Magnolia
helping me out Katie Freeway. Here's Alex from Katie.
Speaker 20 (01:33:49):
Hey, Mike, there's a act led shoulder at West Green.
Speaker 4 (01:33:54):
They're taking two left real lanes now, Alex, but that's
still a banana sticker on your briefcase. I will check
your hard work and east side in two minutes and
ten minutes in the classic Buick GMC traffic center from.

It's now seven twenty two on news Radio seven forty ktrh.

York Times Now says that Kamala Harris's plagiarism is worse
than they thought. The leftist run newspaper originally said, oh,
it's not serious. District Attorney Fanny will is trying to

Speaker 2 (01:35:14):
You're reliable forecast next on the ten on seven forty KTRH.
Speaker 3 (01:35:20):
Seven twenty three so time here in Houston's borning news,
Silvia Kento, junior political commentator joins us, you know that
New York Post story is kind of interesting Sylvia where
they claim or they think that Joe Biden is deliberately
sabotaging Kamala Harris's presidential campaign. Mainly, I guess for a
lack of participation. Whorse, they're not willing to help her
(01:35:41):
in any way, shape or former, or go out and
campaign for Yes.
Speaker 10 (01:35:45):
First of all, good morning, and thank you for the invitation.
Speaker 6 (01:35:48):
As always.
Speaker 10 (01:35:49):
Now, I think there's a little petent place going on
there between the Harris family and the Biden family.
Speaker 6 (01:35:56):
They don't like each other.
Speaker 10 (01:35:58):
I think Joe Biden correctly feels, my opinion that he
was cheated and he's not going to do anything to
help her. And frankly, after that debate last night or
that interview last night with Bret Bayer of Fox News,
I'm pretty sure at the White House this morning they're saying,
I told you so, she's not ready. So these feelings
are going to get a lot stronger as that campaign
(01:36:19):
goes on.
Speaker 7 (01:36:20):
Guys, you know he's doing active things though. I mean,
he went out into the press room at the White
House for the first time as an entire administration about
the Tom Kamala Harris was doing something really important. Yes,
he's about ready to go to Germany right now. He's
leaving today for Germany this close to a instead of
being out campaigning for her. I mean that looks pretty
(01:36:42):
overt to me.
Speaker 10 (01:36:43):
Oh absolutely, And this plagiarism story that you mentioned from
the New York Times. That's not a coincidence. I think
that such a story as coming out today. I mean, look,
I think there's a lot of friction between these people.
And again, you know, I don't like Joe Biden as
a present, but I understand how he feels. I think
they literally took the nomination from him, and they gave
(01:37:05):
it to somebody who had not campaigned, somebody who had
never won a single vote, and someone again who frankly
isn't very comfortable answering questions unless she's being interviewed by
very friendly reporters or Oprah Winfrey or something like that.
So I think there's a lot of resentment, and I
don't know whether this is all going to go, but
he's I wouldn't be surprised if he votes for Donald Trump.
Speaker 3 (01:37:28):
Well, speaking of which you know he did. Maybe the
only time he's had a smile on his face recently
was when he put a Trump Mega hat on in
talking to firefighters. If you really want to, if you
really want to stick at the camera, why not just
come out and endorse Trump. That would really stick it to.
Speaker 6 (01:37:42):
All that, right, you know, Again, I would.
Speaker 10 (01:37:44):
I wouldn't put it beyond him, but I mean, he
may not be able to actually get away with that,
but you know, he doesn't have to tell us who
he voted for. And the other player in this thing too,
And let's not forget the first lady.
Speaker 7 (01:37:58):
That was my next question. You know, he was asking earlier,
where's Joe Biden? There's only room for one queen, and
I think she's stepped aside.
Speaker 10 (01:38:06):
Well, and I don't think any queen likes to be overthrown,
and I think that's what happened here. So I just
don't think they like each other now, to be fair,
not the first time that people in politics have not
liked each other. But I think the feelings here are
very intense, and I won't be able to prove it,
(01:38:27):
but I wouldn't be surprised if both of them vote
for Trump just to get back at her.
Speaker 3 (01:38:31):
Well, you know what, Joe Biden makes more sense than
he does anyway, just because she still has her mental
act together. He doesn't. I don't think he's capable of
coming up with too many plots, but I'm sure she is.
Speaker 10 (01:38:40):
Well, she'll tell him who to vote for. You know,
they'll walk over in Delaware and he'll say or she'll say, Joe,
push this one, and that's how it works. But they
just don't like each other. But I have to tell you,
I'm not a supporter of Joe Biden, but I understand
how he feels. I think he was really mistreated. That
is the worst. Loo enough to remember when LBJ went
(01:39:02):
on TV and said he wasn't running for re election,
but that was that was done much better and much
more elegantly, and that was followed by Democrat primaries back
in sixty eight. I mean, this was all done in
such a frankly, in such an ugly way. It's not
good for the country to have something like that happened.
Speaker 19 (01:39:19):
Guys.
Speaker 3 (01:39:19):
It was a coup in every sense of the word. Sylvia,
Thank you, Civia, yep, Sylvia, pleasure. I have a great day,
gre you too. Silvio Canto Junior joining us seven twenty seven.
It is time to take a look at your money.
Forty Donaho is here.
Speaker 24 (01:39:31):
Good morning, Jimmy, we'll tech us back on track.
Speaker 19 (01:39:33):
Today.
Speaker 24 (01:39:34):
We're seeing recovering ship stocks and that's soothing the nerves
of the market. This morning, futures on the tech having
Nastak leading the way. SMP futures are up half a percent.
In a few moments from now, we get the monthly
report on retail sales. Nearly two and five credit card
holders have maxed out or come close to maxing out
of credit card since the Federal Reserve began raising interest
rates two and a half years ago. According to a
(01:39:55):
survey from Bankreat, more than half blame inflation as the reason.
And Walmart has brought back its Thanksgiving meal at a
lower price in last year. From turkey's to trimmings to desserts,
this year's meal will serve eight people for less than
seven dollars a person. Those prices will be available until
Christmas Day. I'm Courtney Dona Hope Bloomberg Business on News

Speaker 2 (01:40:29):
Or more of what's happening now from the Johan Morris

Speaker 3 (01:40:35):
Seven thirty one is our time here in Houston's morning news.
I'm Jimmy Barrett Long with Sheriff Ryer. Among our top
stories this half hour Kamla and Brett Baar spar on
Fox is Biden trying to sabotage Harris and coming up
at seven thirty eight, Trump on social Security from yesterday's
town hall. Details are coming in the minutes ahead. First,
we're checking out that morning drive once again. Here Skymine,
(01:40:57):
I've never seen.
Speaker 5 (01:40:58):
Two forty nine have many problems.
Speaker 4 (01:41:01):
We've got a stall at Green's, We've got a stall
behind it, our in front of it at nineteen sixty plus.
You've got traffic light issues inside the Beltway. This is
all two forty nine. You lose about eight minutes this
way on the Northwest Freeway. We're a little two ninety
up from Huffmeister.
Speaker 5 (01:41:16):
I'm Skymike Indegenerator Supercenter, dot Com Traffic Center from.
Speaker 3 (01:41:20):
Our KTRH Generators Supercenter, twenty four hour weather Center, Sunday today,
with the high temperature right about seventy six, we stay
dry all the way through the weekend and the temperatures
get a little bit more mild. We'll talk about that
with Terry Smith in eight minutes. Temperature right now forty
nine at your official severe weather station, News Radio seven
forty KTRH. It is time now for the news. Here's
(01:41:41):
Sheriff Fryer.
Speaker 7 (01:41:42):
It is seven thirty two on News Radio seven forty
KTRH and our top story this hour. It was an
evasive Kamala Harris sitting down with Fox for her first
interview on that network, and she refused to answer many
of Brett Beer's questions, including this one about Joe Biden's
cognitive fitness.
Speaker 11 (01:42:02):
You met with him at least once a week for
three and a half years. You didn't have any concerns.
Speaker 14 (01:42:08):
I think the American people have a concern about Donald Trump.
Speaker 7 (01:42:11):
Harris also showed up fifteen minutes late for that sit
down interview, and it cut into what was supposed to
be a thirty minute spot down to just twenty minutes.
Kamala is cheerleaders, though praising her appearance and combativeness, but
what's the reality really?
Speaker 1 (01:42:30):
I think that was a major failure. And the reality is,
you don't go on Brett Baer if you're winning. This
is an act of desperation from a desperate person.
Speaker 7 (01:42:38):
Donald Trump Junior on Fox is seven thirty three now.
According to multiple reports, not only is Joe Biden still
angry at Harris for taking his spot, he's trying to
sabotage her campaign.
Speaker 13 (01:42:51):
And sure it's not a surprise to political commentator Sylvio
Canto Junior.
Speaker 28 (01:42:56):
Somebody's going to write a pretty interesting book in about
ten years. If you're President Biden, you have to be
angry with the way you were treated.
Speaker 13 (01:43:03):
The real question is is Biden even capable of doing
any damage.
Speaker 6 (01:43:08):
That's a very good question.
Speaker 28 (01:43:09):
I don't know how much he's on the level anymore.
I think the bottom line is these two people don't
like each other. And it goes back to the campaign
in twenty twenty when she accused him of being a racist.
Speaker 13 (01:43:20):
Either way, Biden is back in the basement. Juff Biggs
News Radio seven forty kth.
Speaker 7 (01:43:27):
Well, there's still yet more trouble for the left. Democrat
voter registration in key swing states. Guess what it's declining,
Political strategist la Davidicks says could be a big sign
for November.
Speaker 19 (01:43:40):
If you look at the trend, what it shows is
more voters are leaving the Democrat Party rather than a
huge surge in the Republican registration. And those changes reflect
registered Democrats switching to the GOP because they just the
values are no longer reflecting their.
Speaker 7 (01:43:54):
Core beliefs, and it's rising among Republicans. They've caught up
to this Democrat ploy of pushing people to register to vote,
and they are now maximizing their returns. It's seven point
thirty four.
Speaker 29 (01:44:10):
We want them to come in, but they have to
come in legally. They have to love our country. They
have to love you, love our people.
Speaker 7 (01:44:16):
That's Donald Trump on a Univision town hall last night
talking about the Biden Harris border disaster. New research from
the Brookings Institute Jenden reveals that Harris could import as
many as twelve million more illegal aliens during just a
four year term if she gets it. New polling from
Marquette University causes rated grace of dead heat. Now economy
(01:44:39):
the big issue though, the first that most people care about,
followed by border security numbers turning out to be so
bad for Democrats now that whatever lead Harris might have had,
it looks like it's being wiped out. Unlike the massive
positive polling that was there for Hillary Clinton in twenty
sixteen and Joe Biden four years ag go.
Speaker 6 (01:45:01):
Clinton was ahead of Trump I like about five.
Speaker 30 (01:45:04):
Points and Biden maybe eight points, and Harris is about
one and a half point, though he is significantly underperforming
Clinton who lost and Biden, who barely won.
Speaker 7 (01:45:14):
American thinkers Brian June death he told KTRH he thinks
Trump could be ahead by as many as three points
really in the popular vote. So the Harris campaign scrambling
now tells the Wall Street Journal that is balley hood
pandering opportunity for black men agenda. Well, maybe they better
open it to all Americans, but on a race neutral basis.
(01:45:35):
They claim Secret Services issued a six step guide to
prevent mass shootings. That's their response. Agency under fire after
batching Security and Butler Pennsylvania July thirteenth and Florida in
September against Trump, the two Trump assassination attempts. It's now
seven thirty six climate change crowd. Guess what their latest demand?
(01:46:00):
Slow down the airplanes.
Speaker 31 (01:46:02):
A study from the University of Cambridge on cutting carbon
emissions recommends reducing airplane speeds to burn less fuel. Aviation
consultant Mike Hatton says this one required redesigning all planes.
Speaker 32 (01:46:13):
Redesigning would cost millions of dollars per airplane. Who's going
to pay for those millions of dollars? The airlines is
going to be the government. It's going to raise the
costs of airplanes. You can see there's a problem there.
Speaker 31 (01:46:25):
He also notes it would keep planes in the air longer,
increasing congestion and causing more delays at already crowded airports.
His verdict, it's not feasible. Cory Jelson, News Radio seven
forty KTRH. It's now seven thirty Come happen in seven
thirty seven. Well, in Austin, they decided they're going to
make it a year round thing. No refusal DWI. They
(01:46:46):
say is to prevent people in deaths in drunk driving.
I get it, but they want to make it purposeful
year round. That police that they pull you over for
drunk driving and you refuse a blood alcohol test, they
can go ahead and stick a needle in your arm
that they will have a warrant to search your blood.
Speaker 7 (01:47:06):
That's basically what it is. After years of delays, it
was the official groundbreaking yesterday for the North Freeway I
forty five overhaul. Guess what it's been set back, got
set back by three years after local Democrats said it
wasn't equity. It's going to Ultimately the project will cost
taxpayers an additional four billion dollars because of those that delay.
(01:47:31):
So it's a nine billion dollar project overall, and they
said it'll be complete twenty forty two.
Speaker 3 (01:47:39):
We will be around the sea.
Speaker 12 (01:47:40):
Well maybe not.
Speaker 7 (01:47:42):
You know, I hope that neither one of us is
still driving. Then Texas defensive end Will Anderson Junior named
the AFC's Defensive Player of the Week after picking up
three sacks against the Patriots. And they'll be visiting Green
Bay on Sunday. I'm sure a friar on news radio. No,
I hope I'm driving at that age. News radio seven
(01:48:02):
forty KTRH correctly.
Speaker 3 (01:48:04):
Looking for the largest election in town. Had the specs
the fund starts here.
Speaker 42 (01:48:09):
I usually take iten west, but lately that's.
Speaker 7 (01:48:12):
Been a nightmare.
Speaker 2 (01:48:13):
KTRH time saving traffic.
Speaker 3 (01:48:15):
Next on the ten. You know what's funny about this song?
Speaker 6 (01:48:20):
Share?
Speaker 3 (01:48:20):
Do you know how old Paul McCartney was when he
wrote that? When I'm sixty four, he.
Speaker 7 (01:48:26):
Was thirty something fourteen?
Speaker 3 (01:48:29):
Oh really, yes, I never knew that he wrote it.
He wrote it when he was just a kid, you know,
before there ever was the Beatles, you know, and and
it just kind of staying down the shelf.
Speaker 7 (01:48:39):
Well, you still need sixty.
Speaker 3 (01:48:41):
Imagine being fourteen years old and even thinking about being Yeah, exactly. Anyway,
I bring up that just to bring up this. President
Trump at his town hall talking about social Security and
the crowd, the all female crowd, loved what he had
to say about it.
Speaker 38 (01:48:57):
According to America's Health Ranking Organization, seventy point seven percent
of Americans age sixty five and over voted in the
past presidential election, so women are the largest registered and
active group of voters. Social Security is important to some women,
and people over the age of sixty five are a
(01:49:18):
very large voting a block as well. You have said
that you would not tax some of that Social Security money.
Speaker 12 (01:49:24):
How would that work.
Speaker 8 (01:49:25):
We're not going to tax any of the Social Security money,
the benefits they go to seniors, because what you've done,
what they've done to you with inflation is a disaster.
It's the economy. But in terms of really the numbers
of see inflation, we had the worst. They say it's
in forty eight years. I say, ever, we had the
worst inflation in the history of our country. And the
(01:49:47):
ones that really got hurt the worst of people that
are in a fixed income like our seniors. And I said,
we're not going to tax social security benefits of our seniors,
and and we can pay for that will more than
even make up to what you love. I mean, you
lost a fortune, you went up again. They say twenty
one percent. I think it's fifty percent. And all of
(01:50:09):
that money you're at a fixed income. People that were
buying breakfast, they could no longer buy breakfast. They have
a case a woman goes up to the counter with
three apples and then she says, oh, I can't afford it.
Speaker 12 (01:50:20):
She brings one apple back.
Speaker 3 (01:50:21):
That's not supposed to be our country, No not, that's
not the retirement. Then any of us thought that we
would have right where you're parsing over whether or not
you can buy three apples and you have to put
one back because you don't have enough money. Seven forty
time for traffic and weather together. Let's go ahead and
get you up to date on the driving Skymie.
Speaker 5 (01:50:38):
Your onlines might still be showing this accident on screen.
Obviously they just cleared it. Inbound Katie at Mason Road.
That's gone. It wasn't that big of a deal. Everybody's okay.
You got a lot of breaks now coming into Eldridge.
Speaker 4 (01:50:49):
Parkway and you lose about twelve minutes this way downtown.
We're all scunched up now. This is I sixty nine
northbound the Southwest Freeway. Reported wreck right the Downtown split.
So you've got the backups from Kirby. You've also got
an accident on the rent. What a terrible place to
have erect two eighty eight northbound at the forty five
that that's always suckage.
Speaker 5 (01:51:10):
There northbound coming up out of the canyon.
Speaker 4 (01:51:12):
This is to eighty eight downtown plus southbound the East
tex Elevated is all breaks from collings Worth.
Speaker 5 (01:51:18):
Jimbo from Tomballs on two forty.
Speaker 36 (01:51:20):
Nine got Mike A long time since the forgotten freeways
got to mention the Cypress wood and it's a wall
of breaks. We've got car fluffles, habitat series and hoopsnanks
going on between there and the Beltway.
Speaker 4 (01:51:32):
Major burbage right there southbound plus we have signal problems
south of the Beltway. Two forty nine is not your
way to go this morning. Let's do two forty nine
or do I forty five instead. I'm Skymike on the
classic Buick GMC Traffic Center from r KTRH generator of
Super Center twenty four hour Weather Center Terry Smith is
ready to fill you in on the forecast.
Speaker 3 (01:51:52):
Can't seem to buy a rain drop, Terry, but at
least we had some cooler temperatures to deal with.
Speaker 23 (01:51:56):
Yes, cooler temperatures and lower humidity and boys at chili
out there at the moment. But sunshine's going to be
showing up here and helping to make for a warmer
day today. Temperatures will top out mid upper seventies this afternoon.
Not quite as chilly tonight. We're in the fifties overnight
tomorrow near eighty. The weekend right where we're supposed to
(01:52:19):
be in the middle part of October loa to mid eighties.
Speaker 7 (01:52:22):
No rain through Monday.
Speaker 3 (01:52:24):
Jepater right now at one forty nine at your official
severe weather station, News Radio seven forty k TRH. What
you need to know for the day ahead.
Speaker 2 (01:52:33):
This is Houston's Morning News, brought to you by New
South Windows Solutions.
Speaker 3 (01:52:38):
Now that he's not on Fox, you don't seem quite
as much anymore. But at Tucker Carlson shows up on
Makan Kelly's podcast. Of course he does his own special
programming and podcasting as well, and she got him to speculate,
which he hates to do, on how the election is
going to turn out, because, as he admits, he has
a tendency to wishful think the results. In other words,
(01:53:01):
this is how I would like it to turn out.
So here's how I think it will turn on. He
tries hard to give an honest idea of what he
thinks happens with this election. We'll share that with you.
Coming up in a moment. First though, seven fifty time
for traffic and weather together. We have problems in the
Canyon sky Mike got Pardoner. This is northbound. This this
is one of the worst places you can have an accident.
(01:53:22):
Everybody's okay?
Speaker 5 (01:53:23):
That looks like that. That looks like a flatbed eighteen
wheel or two right lanes northbound.
Speaker 4 (01:53:27):
It's I sixty nine right after the merge going through
downtown before forty five.
Speaker 5 (01:53:32):
So here's the backup.
Speaker 4 (01:53:33):
It's messing up two freeways southwest freeways jacked up from Greenway.
Speaker 5 (01:53:37):
Plase. That's also packing up to eighty eight northbound. Avoid that.
Let's do the kdie. Katie's looking durn good right now,
hard hats.

Speaker 3 (01:55:10):
Well, we'll find out in two weeks how bright the
future is. The future is not so great right now.
Certainly love of improvement be made. But who's going to win?
That's what we all want to know. I mean, I
keep looking at the battleground state poles, and they keep
going more and more in Trump's favor, although again you
know the Margins eraser.
Speaker 7 (01:55:31):
Then I watch the betting markets, the stock market and
Donald Trump media stock Yeah, which has been going through
the roof. I mean, you're seeing seven eight games every day.
Speaker 3 (01:55:45):
Yeah, let's put this way. Things I think are trending
in the right direction.
Speaker 7 (01:55:48):
People who have money in the game always follow the money.
Speaker 3 (01:55:52):
Especially people who are betting money, especially people who are
betting big money. They they they they make very calculated
bets on perhaps maybe some inside information.
Speaker 7 (01:56:02):
The rest of us are not prevent a lot of times,
they're the ones who are moving the markets. But you know,
is it like a push pull.
Speaker 3 (01:56:09):
Yeah, So back to Tucker Carlson. Let's see what does
Tucker Carlson think and his hard hearts is going to
happen on November the fifth.
Speaker 12 (01:56:16):
You right now, I'm just too.
Speaker 50 (01:56:18):
Emotional about this stuff, and that's why I always get
it wrong. I'll just refer to the publicly available and
the private polling.
Speaker 3 (01:56:25):
Trump's ahead.
Speaker 50 (01:56:26):
You know, there are only seven states in the battleground
states are seven states, and Trump is ahead in five
of them, and that's enough to win in the electoral College.
He's up in Pennsylvania. And again, we have three weeks
from today to go. That could all change. I'm sure
there'll be, you know, a lot of change between now
and then, and a lot of stuff that we don't
expect will happen in three weeks. But as if today,
(01:56:48):
Trump is ahead, and I happen to like Trump a
lot personally, But even if I hated Trump, the machine
can't win. The machine is anti human. It's not about people.
And that was in the way they discarded Joe Biden,
who they claim to love. That they don't care about
Kamala Harris either. By the way, I'm not attaching her,
She's merely the face of the party. That machine has
(01:57:09):
to lose, and as of today, that machine is losing.
Speaker 3 (01:57:12):
We got to beat the machine. So as you take
a look at some of these battleground states, he's up
I think by a full percentage point in Michigan now
and the Michigan this is kind of a telling sign.
The Michigan Firefighters Union refused to endorse a candidate because
they always endorse Democrats, but they want endorse Kamala Harris.
(01:57:33):
And the reason why they want endorse Kamala Harris is
for no other reason. Just like the UAW, their membership
wholeheartedly supports Trump. Ua w uh huh. And I think
I think the blue collar people in a in the
industrial state like Michigan are going to their Their voter
(01:57:55):
enthusiasm is going to be much much higher than the
people that they are running. Again, it's there there. Those
people are going to show up, Those people are going
to vote, and they're going to bring everybody they know
with them. And I'm not so sure that the same
can be said on the other side, where the enthusiasm
is luke warm. And as we talked about earlier this week,
that the governor Michigan didn't help herself or the Democrats
(01:58:16):
when you know.
Speaker 7 (01:58:17):
Proposed fake with their reunion for the Doo.
Speaker 3 (01:58:20):
Dorrito communion wafer, you know, photo.
Speaker 7 (01:58:23):
AP podcaster on that was insulting.
Speaker 3 (01:58:26):
And there's a lot of people, there's a lot of
good Catholics in the state of Michigan who I'm sure
we're very much insulted by what she did. That may
have changed a few minds too. Listen, y'all, have a
great day. We'll find out so enough, what's going to happen,
