Well, Robin Ben, We're all looking forward to seeing Azy
Fudd return to the basketball court sooner than later. How's
the rehab going? Is that we get set for a
new season.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
It's going really well and I'm feeling really good and
feeling strong, felin excited and back on the floor.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
So thinks you're good.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
Yeah, it's been a while since you've been able to
play a full season healthy. I would imagine this is
just that alone is a big reason for you looking
forward to a good year.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
You took the words out of my mouth exactly.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
What's it gonna be like to play with Page again?
I mean we've talked about this. There's only been what
a handful of games you played with her?

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Yeah, that's gonna be a lot of fun. But honestly,
don't only care about her. I'm just excited to play
with everyone. Like who girls about Page, right, I'm just
excited to be on the floor and play with literally everyone.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
I feel like I didn't get any time.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
With kk or Ash and the new freshman Caitlin at transfer,
and even Janna hasn't been on the floor yet, So
I'm excited to play with everyone.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
What was what's the rehab been like, for you, what
have you had any setbacks out early on when you
had your surgery and then the early part of your rehab.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
H really no, everything's been pretty smooth.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
People I've been working with have been That was kind
of like our big goal was to take things slowly
so that there were no setbacks.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
We didn't have to.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Slow down at all. So things have been really smooth.
I've been feeling really good, which I'm really grateful for that.
But no, yeah, nothing, nothing major just happened.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
All right? What fun things did you do this summer
other than follow your buddy page around at the US Open.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
I gotta spent a lot of time with family. I'm
a Minnesota time, which I love. Say, I can't remember
the summer. I feel like I've been at school for
so long. The US Open was amazing, though that might
have been the highlight. I would know it was in summer. Technically,
well it was I was in school, so for me,
it wasn't summer.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Yeah. Now you got to meet Cocoa Gough correct?

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Correct?

Speaker 1 (01:54):
What was that like?

Speaker 3 (01:55):
So cool?

Speaker 2 (01:56):
I mean like we've followed each other on Instagram, but
meeting her in person and getting to see her play,
I was fangirling.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
She's incredible and she's such a sweet person too.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
All Right, do you have a target from when you're
coming back or it's still a little ways away yet,
because I know you haven't been cleared to play five
on five yet, correct.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
So I think we're kind of just taking things slow.
I mean, I would love to play sooner rather than later,
but we're seeing how things go, making sure I'm responding
well to everything we're adding in practice, and we're gonna
go from there.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Yeah, because people don't remember this. It took Page fourteen
months before she was clear to play five on five
And we're not just talking this year, We're talking the
rest of your.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Life here exactly.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
And that's kind of been like my Man show is
for spending the next these twelve months to prepare myself
set myself up for the next twelve years. So it's
not about the right now, which is easy to kind
of get caught up in, but make sure I make
that smart, long term mature.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
