The Daily Life of Frank

The Daily Life of Frank

How you doing? I’m Frank, a husband to Kate, dad to two kiddos, Lil and Leo, and petdad to two cats, Moose and Nemo, who like to give me passive-aggressive stares from the windowsill. The Daily Life of Frank is my weekly podcast where I share the chaos, comedy, and occasional existential crisis that comes with being a parent, a husband, and an average guy just trying to keep the house from spontaneously combusting. I cover it all in a way that is unfiltered, unapologetically real, and held together by the kind of love that makes the madness meaningful. Because when you’ve got two kids calling the shots, two cats silently judging, one very patient wife, and an unhealthy dose of awkward dad energy, the chaos isn’t just part of the deal, it’s the whole show. And honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. That’s what The Daily Life of Frank is all about. It’s messy, it’s honest, and if you leave thinking, “Wow, I can relate,” or “Okay… maybe my life isn’t that bad,” then I’ve done my job. New episode drops every Wednesday at 6am CST!

Those darn cats are back at it and I’m starting to think Moose is being purr pressured by Nemo. Meanwhile, both kids are down with the flu, we had a zero‑toilet‑paper emergency first thing in the morning, my son is cracking jokes about what day of the week it is, and my daughter is out here almost giving me a heart attack while I’m driving.

And can we please stop with the fake ‘Punch the Monkey’ news alerts? I don’t need any more em...

What a week — full of family, food, and me officially entering my old‑school era. I’ll recap my birthday, including the watch that is bringing back a much simpler time. A waitress convinced us to try caramel‑covered cheese curds, and against all logic, they were absolutely incredible. And back at home, the cats are acting up and the jealousy levels are at an all‑time high which is giving full feline-WWE energy.

And yes, I absolutely...

I am taking my birthday week off, and will have a new episode next week! Until then, enjoy a very special Flashback Episode as I go back to the Fall of last year as the podcast celebrated 300 episodes.

Here's the preview:

To celebrate 300 episodes of The Daily Life of Frank, we’re throwing the mic wide open to the people (and creatures) who know me best. In this special edition, I sit down with his wife, my kids Leo and Lil, Moose t...

We’re heading into warmer weather this week, and my body has absolutely no idea what season we’re in. Hoodie? Shorts? Both?I recap the Super Bowl, Valentine’s Day, and NBA Saturday Night. Plus, I got my test results back, and let’s just say… it could’ve been worse. Looks like I officially survived the holidays, even if my body filed a small complaint. And because my brain is a carnival, I’ve also been making cat parodies for TikTok...

The Big Game is almost here, and I’m praying this bloating clears out in time so I can properly demolish Sunday’s menu. Meanwhile, I’ve stumbled onto a new TV show that has me convinced I’m basically part of the team. At home, my wife has decided Nemo needs a rebrand, I’ve finally joined Wordle, and been trying to figure out if a gyros sandwich can give you a charley horse.

The deep freeze of 2026 came in like a wrecking ball and did I hear my tree pop? Da Bears lost and I’m heartbroken — not soul‑crushed, just emotionally limping into 2026. Caleb Williams is a damn superstar, but Packers fans keep invading my TikTok like it’s their personal victory parade. Between Stranger Things ending and the Bears season being over, this year has been so emotional. Meanwhile, my son is a natural at Madden, claims ...

I told my wife the Earth might lose gravity this August and proved it by falling down… which she says makes me look dumb, but here we are. My knee still hurts which I am beginning to think is arthritis, there was a squall warning, and I discovered I am fascinated with the corncob buildings in Chicago. I played early‑morning video games with my son and felt young again, then immediately lost my parking spot as I panicked as I though...

Where’s Bruce the Shark when you need him, as the cats decide it’s the perfect time to “play” with the fish. I’m recapping Christmas — the food, the family fun, the gifts — and confronting the shocking truth that I may have a full‑blown Christmas‑tree obsession. I dive into Stranger Things Vol. 2, survive what was basically the undiagnosed flu, and scroll through my Spotify Unwrapped that proves I am a 33-year old Mom with toddlers...

This week’s episode of The Daily Life of Frank the cats have gone full mischief mode, turning the Christmas tree into their personal battleground whenever we’re not home, while Moose has developed an obsession with candy canes that’s getting out of hand. Nemo is finally settling in comfortably, though Moose decided to steal my earbud just to keep things interesting. Amid the madness, I remind myself that cuddles and hugs don’t last...

This week on The Daily Life of Frank, I’m trying to figure out who signed me up for a loan underwriting program while battling the cold and snow that just won’t quit. Meanwhile, my cats have officially claimed the Christmas tree as their secret fortress, turning it into their personal holiday hideout. My wife and I finally finished Stranger Things, and wow just wow. My son attempted to eat an Italian sub and somehow committed a foo...
