The one thing though, I will say, it smelt like
Target Center burned their popcorn and like multiple different locations
because I'm walking through like the lower level walk area,

and it's just like so aggressively smells like popcorn but
like a little bit burnt and so whatever. But then
it started smell better and I'm sitting next to someone
and I look over and midway through they got a
huge bucket of popcorn.

like we were pretty close, like we were in the
lower level, and so I feel like I just was
starting to smell.

something more than something else that they should be trusting.

GPT more than experts.

that chat GPT knows more than experts, at least in
like certain fields. So the things that a lot of
people trust are career advice and product recommendations. Sixty percent
tend to believe what it says about that kind of stuff.
Some things we don't trust, though. Only thirty five percent

would trust medical advice from chat GPT, and twenty eight
percent said the same about legal advice. But half the
users say they do lean in on certain specific things
like financial stuff product recommendations, like I said in career advice,
but then only fifteen percent turned to it.

What I do feel like there is a lot of
opportunity with chat GPT. Don't get me wrong, but I
don't think that you should fully trust it for everything.
For instance, back in like December or something, I had
to have biopsies done of lymph nodes in my neck

from the lab before your doctor even gets to call

and I'm like, I have no idea what this means.
So I did copy and paste it and put it
in the chat GPT.

what my doctor did tell me once she spoke to me.
So I get using it as like a two tool, yes,
but to just like go to it to immediately trust

any kind of backups, I just think that that's not
the way.

or something, what's the first thing you do. You don't

people doing that same thing with like recipes. I don't know,
people are more inclined to go to like a TikTok
to learn how to build a the heater that you

did in your van. Oh yeah, you're more inclined to
do that, So I understand kind of where it's going.

The think with chat GPT, though, is that it's not
pulling from like anything that's credible necessarily. I mean, it's
pulling from like the entire Internet, and so like anything
can be on the Internet. So I get going to
Google if you have a question. But what I hate
about Google now is that it has like the AI
portion right at the top, So when you ask a

question to Google, it'll answer it with AI. But then
I'll be like, Okay, cool, where did they get this information?
And it's not clear where it got the information. It
just got it from the Internet as a whole and
threw it in. And that's where, like I've seen, like
at least high schoolers are like relying on that little
Google AI thing to do all of the work for them,

Like you just have to scroll down, just keep scrolling
past it and click on a link and read that instead.
For sure, But I do appreciate it as a tool
because I do also use chatchipt occasionally to take all
of my notes and put it into a paragraph form.

Right, it definitely has this purposes. Obviously it's blown up
in the last few years, so it has the purposes.
But I did share a meme recently and that was like,
make sure you're eating healthy because your future doctor is

No really though, like sometimes I do think about that sometimes, like, wow,
I did all of college without chat GPT, Like am

but it was still like in its beta stages, so

have the little red bubble, how many unread emails you have,

one still member, and so I like opted out of

So I don't really have anything in my personal and
my work email. I only have three, and then I
only have one unread text message.

Maybe that's why it's a bad habit for me, because
I see so many red bubbles all the time. So

The one thing though, I will say, it smelt like
Target Center burned their popcorn and like multiple different locations
because I'm walking through like the lower level walk area,

and it's just like so aggressively smells like popcorn but

it started smell better and I'm sitting next to someone
and I look over and midway through they got a
huge bucket of popcorn.

guy was next to me, so that probably would have
been like not as good of a situation versus if

But yeah, I really thought about doing it for a second,
just to see what happens. Yeah, obviously I know that's
like completely inappropriate and so disrespectful.

Yeah, they do it every Monday now. I think they
go to different cities. So yeah, it was live on
Netflix and I think a couple other I don't know,

Now, Okay, I was told it was only like two
hours and it started at six thirty and it was
still going strong when we left.

I say, when you say it smelled like burnt popcorn,
I would assume that that's either like the mats the
people that kind of are smelling. I don't know, maybe
muscle and testosterum smells a certain way.

I will say it's starting to smell a little like
a gym way through, I can imagine. I just smeelt
like we were pretty close, like we were in the
lower level, and so I feel like I just was
starting to smell.

Like the sweat and like the slime and.

Stuff, and I was like, I don't know if that's
coming from the wrestling ring or if it's people surrounding me.
But it definitely started to get a little stinky in
there a little bit later. But anyways, it was a
good time. It's something I experienced once. I don't know
that I never I ever need to experience it again.

yelling and telling this backstory of his brother was dying

Then they didn't even fight.

Like it literally was like him coming in whole script.
The other guy just stood there.

It was like a deep lore for every single person.

and forth like bay like it was just anyways, that's enough,

you why. It's because a third of people are trusting
something more than something else that they should be trusting.

Okay, so a third of us are getting dumber in
my opinion, because the third of us already trust chat
GPT more than experts.

Oh oh gosh, okay wait, I kind of see where
you're going with it.

Yeah, so it says that apparently, you know, people think
that chat GPT knows more than experts, at least in
like certain fields. So the things that a lot of
people trust are career advice and product recommendations. Sixty percent
tend to believe what it says about that kind of stuff.
Some things we don't trust, though. Only thirty five percent

would trust medical advice from chat GPT, and twenty eight
percent said the same about legal advice. But half the
users say they do lean in on certain specific things
like financial stuff product recommendations, like I said in career advice,
but then only fifteen percent turned to it.

For relationship advice.

What I do feel like there is a lot of
opportunity with chat GPT. Don't get me wrong, but I
don't think that you should fully trust it for everything.
For instance, back in like December or something, I had
to have biopsies done of lymph nodes in my neck
and what happens is like you get the report back
from the lab before your doctor even gets to call

you on like your online portal. So I'm reading this
and I'm like, I have no idea what this means.
So I did copy and paste it and put it
in the chat GPT.

Yeah, and I read it and it made a lot
of sense at that point. It was exactly pretty much
what my doctor did tell me once she spoke to me.
So I get using it as like a two tool, yes,
but to just like go to it to immediately trust
everything that it says, Like if you're working on a
project in school or something and not checking sources or

any kind of backups, I just think that that's not
the way.

I see what it's saying, though. I see what the internet.
When you get sick or you get your lyph noes
or something, what's the first thing you do. You don't
go to your patient portal, You go to Google or
TikTok University. Yeah, so CHATCHEPT in the sense I get
people doing that same thing with like recipes. I don't know,
people are more inclined to go to like a TikTok
to learn how to build a the heater that you

did in your van. Oh yeah, you're more inclined to
do that, So I understand kind of where it's going.

The think with chat GPT, though, is that it's not
pulling from like anything that's credible necessarily. I mean, it's
pulling from like the entire Internet, and so like anything
can be on the Internet. So I get going to
Google if you have a question. But what I hate
about Google now is that it has like the AI
portion right at the top, So when you ask a

question to Google, it'll answer it with AI. But then
I'll be like, Okay, cool, where did they get this information?
And it's not clear where it got the information. It
just got it from the Internet as a whole and
threw it in. And that's where, like I've seen, like
at least high schoolers are like relying on that little
Google AI thing to do all of the work for them,

Like you just have to scroll down, just keep scrolling
past it and click on a link and read that instead.
For sure, But I do appreciate it as a tool
because I do also use chatchipt occasionally to take all
of my notes and put it into a paragraph form.

If I write notes and I'm like, make this make sense,

Right, it definitely has this purposes. Obviously it's blown up
in the last few years, so it has the purposes.
But I did share a meme recently and that was like,
make sure you're eating healthy because your future doctor is
using chatchept to pass med school.

No really though, like sometimes I do think about that sometimes, like, wow,
I did all of college without chat GPT, Like am
I smart? Right?

A lot? You kind of missed the mark on that,

I think chat GPT was a thing like my senior year,
but it was still like in its beta stages, so
I was like, I don't trust this.

One thing I did see recently on social media is
that you can go to chat GPT as like.

A therapist almost.
Speaker 4 (09:32):
Oh and you can like there's some version where you
can almost get like a therapist to talk to you
pretty nice.

Maybe I write that down, yeah, like and talk back
and forth.

So maybe there's a little option there.

But also just remember you're talking to a robot pretty much,
so you know, I'll take it with a grain of salt. Also,
probably just go see it actually therapist.

If I think you need therapy, right, I want everybody
to grab their phones real quick. Your phone, Yeah, I
want you to look at how many emails like you
have the little red bubble, how many unread emails you have,
and then how many unread text messages you have? Okay,
I'll go first. I have eight thousand, six hundred and
five unread emails. That's insane, terrible, and then one hundred

Because I recently had to change my personal emails for

one still member, and so I like opted out of
everything then basically of all the junk and spam and whatever.
So I don't really have anything in my personal and
my work email. I only have three, and then I
only have one unread text message.

I have one hundred and sixty unread emails and two
unread text messages.

Well, the average person has one thousand and forty four
unread emails and twelve unopen text messages.

Wow, and I live better than I feel better.

I'm glad that I'm I guess, part of the average person.
They say that sixty three percent of people say they
currently have zero unread text I just think one. When
I was younger, for the purpose of saying I have friends,
I used to get in the habit of not opening
text messages. But now there are some people that can't
stand seeing that little red bubble there.

Mine is more so the fact I don't like to
see the red bubble, But mine is the fact that
I will probably forget to respond to them if I
don't open it. And oftentimes if you text me during
the morning show, I will totally forget to respond to
you because I do not respond to almost any text

But for the most part now I like will open
things right away.

Maybe that's why it's a bad habit for me, because
I see so many red bubbles all the time. So
