Speaker 1 (00:00):
We keep talking about the Kendrick and Sissa concert and
Jamie Lee Curtis brought this up. But it's good. It's
a good point. Why are concerts all at night? I
think Jamie Lee said something like, if Coldplay is scheduled
at nine o'clock and they get an opening act, I'm
gonna go to the cold Play concerts at nine o'clock
at night. They won't even come on until ten thirty. Yeah,

(00:21):
it's a good point. Yeah, So why don't they have
mattin a concerts? You know? Why isn't Kendrick and Sissa
one o'clock in the afternoon? I mean festivals are Coachella
is like starts like in the afternoon, I think.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
But even like festivals, they'll put like the like kind
of lower name earlier on and then the you know,
big name is at night. But I get your point.
I see, like, why not a five o'clock concert?

Speaker 1 (00:44):
Yeah, you skip out of work a little bit early. Yeah,
and then you got traffic I guess to deal with.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
Yeah, that's annoying. Transhiberian Orchestra does a mattiname okay ye
three and like an eight thirty or something, and I'm like,
sign me up for the three thirty hours like a Saturday.
So that for me, but yeah, not for everyone else.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
That's one of the hard parts about like, you know,
we get up really early in the morning. My alarm
goes off at four fifteen. And one of the reasons
that I don't really go to a lot of concerts
is because, Okay, if it's on a Tuesday night, I'm
not gonna get home at twelve thirty after seeing Maroon
five because I don't want to stay up that late.
Now they're gonna move them to like if they did
like a four o'clock in the afternoon. Maybe maybe they
started at noon.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
And I always try to take like a super long
nap before things like that, but that.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
Does not equal out.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
If I get four hours of sleep, I still I
even if I got a two hour nap, I still
only got four hours of sleep that night.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
I don't know why I can't do it. The time
doesn't feel wrong. I think it's the time on weekdays
is the problem, right, because Saturday concerts, Friday concerts. I
don't mind doing all that. It's like a nice you know,
let's go out free drinks and stuff into the weekend.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Other people work other jobs that don't include having weekends off. Yeah,
that's true them too.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
M h you can't accommodate for everybody. No, it's my point.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
I mean, I guess that's the best time, but I mean, really,
the most practical time would be like a one o'clock
on a Saturday.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
You know, maybe if it had to be a week night,
should we all go around the room and say what
time we would want it to be if it's a
weeknight and it's someone we really want to see, mm hmm,
five o'clock. See, I'm going four, because then at least
you get there before probably.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
The I would take sure, Okay, I would take four o'clock.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Yeah, well then you still have to get off of
work by like three to get your pants on and
get over there.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
But so my pants work.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
No, I would say five thirty is probably my best
because then you could potentially just say, like I need
to get out of work fifteen minutes early versus an
hour two hours.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
I won't go too far off. I'll go six o'clock
because let's just say the opener goes on at six
or the DJ or whatever. Seven thirty is about the
time the main act plays like there were two weeks
in March. What would I see? I saw justin Timberlake
that was a school night, and I saw Mary J.
Blige was a school night. And I came in here
the next day and I was kind of just like, okay,
but I feel like if they were six o'clock, it's

(02:56):
fine's a little earlier, and I, yes, you.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
It a school night, I would too.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
Yeah, this is like a work night.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Yeah, that could be anything but a school night.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
Yeah, And it's works for us because we wake up
even earlier, whereas the average Joe Schmo what works at
nine to five? So at least like you could sleep
it a little later.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Yeah, I guess. So. I guess you could justify it
by saying, you know, if you go to a concert
only twice a year, you're only suffering through that twice
a year and you get to go see Teddy Swims
or you know, Kendrick or whatever it is.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
Before I moved here, I just didn't go to concerts often.
And you know, I'm grateful that we're able to go
to so many concerts because we interview artists. I didn't
know they did concerts on weeknights. Oh, no, weeknights at school.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
Nay, most of them are, Yeah, because if you think
about their traveling around the country, around the world, they're
not going to just do Saturday night and Friday night.
They get it, you know, they got to make it
as you know, practical as possible.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
That makes seem to a.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
Certain level you actually do do weekends. Like Kendrick and Sissa,
I think a lot of their tour dates are weekends. Yeah,
And like Taylor Swift was always on weekends. I didn't
notice that maybe there was like a Thursday night one
everyone's while, but yeah, her Twin City stop was Friday
and Saturday, and almost every tour stop was a Friday
and Saturday. And I remember, like Garth Brooks was like

(04:08):
one of the biggest concerts I came to town. He
was a Friday, Saturday, maybe Sunday, Okay. Yeah. I think
that once you become big enough, you do get to
kind of pick that, whereas smaller artists they've got to
go to a different city every few days, you know.
Whereas Taylor Swift does a concert, flies back to New
York for a few days, recoups, and then flies up
to the next city for the weekend.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
Carson's on tour with an artist named Willow Avalon. Right now,
the Carson is my son and he's their tour manager.
And so they do a show. They got one tonight
in Cleveland, and then when they don't have a show,
they're driving. They're in a van. They're not flying first class,
they're not in the tour bus. Carson is driving the
sprinter van around the country with Willow in her band

(04:50):
in the back. I said, cute, I said, is Willow
ever drive? He said, she offered to, but he said,
now I want to do it because Carson wants to
be able to say I drove the entire tour. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
I follow Willow Avalon on Instagram because she has really
cute hair and I like her music. But every time
she posts something, I just like, I pause it to
see if Carson's in the background at all.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
So I'm just like, it's a where's Carson situation?

Speaker 4 (05:13):
Where's Waldo?

Speaker 1 (05:14):
He usually does her videos? Oh well, he's usually taking
the video. So if you go to Willow Avalon's page
and you look at her performing on stage, she doesn't
have a social media person. It's her and Carson. Okay,
so Carson will video and then air drop her the
video so she can post it, so let's follow her.
She's awesome. It's a Willow avalon. Can I get the phone? Yeah,

(05:35):
go ahead, Well, good morning, it's Katie WB Who is this?

Speaker 5 (05:38):
This is Patrick Smith?

Speaker 1 (05:39):
Patrick Smith? That name rings a bell. I think I
heard you leave a keyword for Kendrick the other day.
Would I be right? Yes? I did? Patrick. Guess what?
You are a winner and you're going to Kendrick Lamar.

Speaker 5 (05:50):
Oh no way, thank you very much.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Who's your cohort? In the background, I hear some sing.

Speaker 5 (05:57):
That is my girlfriend, Nikki screaming her head off.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
Nikki, are you excited to go to Kendrick this weekend?
We were so sad because we missed. We didn't give
up on you, guys. We're gonna call you again and
again until we got you.

Speaker 6 (06:14):
Call them back.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
How many times, Patrick did you say? Would you say
you entered the did the keyword?

Speaker 5 (06:21):
Honestly, it feels like thousands amongst any of the other
promotions that you've been doing to give away Kendrick tickets,
whether it was the ticket Tuesday or whether it was
the the other one as well that was Kendrick Lamar
tickets for like the past few.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
Months, so they are that is the hot tickets. So
now you guys got to like get downtown to us
Bank Stadium. She can buy you dinner before you go
and go somewhere absolutely and then go to the show,
enjoy yourself and uh, just remember you won them here
on what radio station? Patrick kd W b woo. The

(07:03):
key to winning is listen. I mean that's really it is.
It's like what did he do? He played the game
over and over and over. It's like buying more scratch tickets.
The more scratch tickets shod buy. But these are free,
you better your chance to win, So make sure you
do it, like right now, here's your another opportunity to
open up your phone, open up the iHeartRadio app and
then just use that red microphone and just say this.

(07:25):
The keyword is Bill and you can say it any
way you want to. You could even say it in
Spanish if you want to, but just say Bill in English, okay,
whatever you want to do. The keyword is Bill, or
Bill is the keyword, or my name is Bailey and

this money on whatever you want to buy your own

(08:09):

That would not be that hard to do.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
Okay, you might be able to pay us all more too.
If you want to hire us, you.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
Could buy, oh, I don't know, a trip to Wisconsin.
Dell's full on, full out trip to Wisconsin. Del's for
you and the family. Probably the Kalihari.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
I like that.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
I like the Great Wolflage a lot.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
It's a good one.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
However, I still would want to go to Noah's Ark.
That's your place, because I love I went there all
the time the summer.

Speaker 4 (08:37):
I love it so much.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
I always want to go in that building that looks
like it's collapsing at Wisconsin Dell's, like the.

Speaker 4 (08:41):
One that is on its side, on its side, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
It looks like what's in there anyway?

Speaker 3 (08:45):
I think it's just like one of those places where
it looks like your sideways. It's such a mind blank.

Speaker 1 (08:51):
You know what's happening where you want to go to
Wisconsin Dell's or buy your own radio station. You got
to use that keyword. The keyword is check, and the
way you use it is we were a little bit
different with the keywords different times. So this one is
you go online to KDWBT dot com. Go ahead and
do that, and do it on your phone. A box
should pop up that says what's the keyword? You enter
the keyword check, and you're good to go. We'll give

(09:14):
you a call within an hour for one thousand dollars.
Coming up next, who tweeted it? Van's going to give
us an example of a celebrity tweet or x or
whatever you want to call it. We're gonna have to
guess who tweeted it. You got one to get us
warmed up.

Speaker 4 (09:28):
Yes, here's a tweet. Why is Rhode Island nor a
road or an island? I'll give you multiple choicest. Oh
you want them now, okay, Leam Hemsworth, Seth Rogan, Justin Bieber,
Harry Styles. Oh, I've got a guess. I was gonna
say Seth Rogan before you even said it. That's an
option you to be wrong. It was Justin Bieber.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
Okay, we'll do more of these coming up on KD
double ub. Never more than thirty minutes away from Kendrick
and Sissa. We're right now eleven minutes away, so stay
here to you be Okay, it's Katie, You're very ridiculous.
I'm just telling Jenny that her mom, Cindy and I
it can happen.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
Welly, he always brings her up in conversations and he
is like, well, Cindy would do that with me. And
I was like, you're just so horny for my mom.
She's not interested. Okay, she is good with her life.
She don't she doesn't need you coming.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
In tick her out on a motorcycle ride.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
Oh, absolutely not. She's terrified of everything. She would never
get on the back of a motorcycle. What's your mom
doing then, Bailey, she's probably she's probably free.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
Okay, good little game here. If I's going to read
a celebrity tweet. I don't know whether you call it
a tweet or an ex anymore, but you know what
I'm talking about. And then you got to figure out
which celebrity tweeted this saying yes, indeed sentence this post.

Speaker 4 (10:41):
We'll go one by one, so we'll go around the room.
We'll start with Jenny. Here's a tweet. My daughter's only
six months old and already drawing. I'd hang it on
the fridge, but honestly, it's absolute garbage. Who tweeted it? Jenny?
You got a Chris Pratt, b Conan O'Brien, c Justin
Timberlake or d Ryan Reynolds Chris Pratt final answer, Yeah,

(11:03):
it was the good looking Ryan Reynolds. He's such a
good looking dude, but a clown too. All right, this
one's for Bailey j The tweet is, oh God, I
just realized I'm stuck with me my whole life.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
Now.

Speaker 4 (11:17):
I could have tweeted that me right. Hear your options?
Was it a Olivia Rodrigo, b Blake Lively, c Anna
Kendrick or d Jojo siwah Uh, Let's go a Olivia Rego.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
I think she takes herself a little too seriously, I said.

Speaker 4 (11:33):
Jo, rest of them take themselves too seriously. Both of
you are wrong. Anna Kendrick tweeted it. She's funny. I
like her all right, Jojo Siwa definitely takes yourself all right, David.
Here's the tweet, four thirty am eating a sausage McMuffin
and looking up at gestation period of animals is A

(11:56):
Christy Teagan B Britney Spears see Jennifer Aniston or D
Jennifer Lopez.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
Duh Chrissy Teagan?

Speaker 4 (12:05):
Correct? She tweets weird stuff. She is weird. She's weird,
very odd. Okay, next one for Jenny. How can mirrors
be real if your eyes I'm sorry, let me do
it again. How can mirrors be real if our eyes
aren't real? Sounds like a middle of the night high tweet.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
Who tweeted it?

Speaker 4 (12:22):
Jenny? A Snoop DOGG B. Jaden Smith, C. Matt LeBlanc
from Friends or D Jimmy Fallon.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
Oh, Jimmy Fallon's too funny for a not funny tweet?

Speaker 3 (12:32):
Like, yeah, I feel like you're trying to trick me
because it sounds like a high tweet by Snoop. But
I'm gonna go Jaden, I would agree you'd be correct.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
Also somebody who's not very bright, but it's trying to
be philosophical and profound, but they don't really know what
philosophical and profound really means.

Speaker 4 (12:47):
All right? Who tweeted it?

Speaker 1 (12:48):
And this is for Bailey?

Speaker 4 (12:49):
Jen I'm watching the History Channel in the club and
I'm wondering, how do these people know what's going on
on the sun? Ain't nobody ever been? Now this is
a round of Kevin's. These are all keV options. A
Kevin Hart, B Kevin Durant, see Kevin Costner or D
Kevin Bacon.

Speaker 7 (13:06):
I'm gonna say A Kevin Hart wrong, No, Kevin Durant, Yes,
the basketball player the be all right?

Speaker 4 (13:16):
Next one for Dave Bailey. You're zero points right now?
You got a donut? Okay? He The tweet is is
meatball and fruit?

Speaker 1 (13:27):
Say that again?

Speaker 4 (13:28):
You heard me?

Speaker 1 (13:29):
Right?

Speaker 4 (13:29):
Is meatball and fruit? Like a like a n Yes?
Of the choices who tweeted it? Is it A Amanda Binds, B.
Charlie Sheen, C. Shilah buff or D post Malone Shila?
What is chilaboff from?

Speaker 7 (13:44):
Again?

Speaker 4 (13:45):
He's from even Steve that.

Speaker 3 (13:46):
Yeah, well and transformers and transformers.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
Indiana Jones and King.

Speaker 4 (13:53):
You're wrong, it was post malone Maloney last one, Jenny, Okay,
here's the tweet. Once I was in the spa in
a hotel in Vegas getting a massage. When I finished,
I turned over and to my shock, Paul Rudd was
massaging me. He saw me go in and convinced the
masseeus to let him take over. Think I'd immediately noticed.

(14:15):
I didn't, and Paul did the entire rest of it. Wow,
tweeted it.

Speaker 1 (14:18):
Jenny Good.

Speaker 4 (14:19):
Yeah, Ryan Reynolds, that was a B Seth Rogen c
Jonah Hill or d Kevin Hart.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
Ah, it's gotta be one of them that has a
good relationship with him.

Speaker 4 (14:29):
Yeah, what was b I'll do them all again. A
is Ryan Reynolds, b is Seth Rogen c is Jonah
Hill from twenty one Jump Street and d is Kevin's.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
It was.

Speaker 4 (14:42):
Dude was always so high? That was who tweeted it.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
Very nice spot appreciate that. We'll be back with Dave's
dirt coming up in a second. Wrap up all the
big brew haha of the space flight that everybody is mocking.
Next here another peak behind the scenes in Hollywood Dave's
Dirk on kd w B. I'm sure that the interwebs
and the socials will be piling on for a few
more days, but we will kind of stop unless something

(15:05):
else develops. Here about the whole space trip, Gail King
is snapping back at people who are making fun of
her and the whole space ride, saying it's not a
ride at all. It was a flight.

Speaker 8 (15:19):
I really resent that people are calling it a ride.
We duplicated the trajectory of Alan Shepherd's flight back in
the day. No one called that a ride. A ride
sounds frivolous, it sounds insignificant. This was a bona fide flight.
So you know, I say, have you been to space?
Have you seen what Blue Origin does to get these

(15:39):
machines up, get them up and get them down with
the precision that they do. I'm sorry they are haters.
There's always going to be haters.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
Okay, all right, Little las X was hospitalized after facial paralysis.
Here's Lil nas X.

Speaker 4 (15:55):
Doesn't mean doing a full sallow right now.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
By the way, It's like it was like, well I
couldn't even laugh, right, Must you swear? Must you swear?

Speaker 4 (16:08):
Constantly, Cali, come on.

Speaker 1 (16:12):
Brian Austin Green also has had some medical problems.

Speaker 6 (16:15):
So last week I started feeling some pain in my stomach.
I ended up going to the emergency room and I
had a perforated appendix not quite burst, but.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
Just before that sounds terrible, Glady coom at a time. Yeah,
it ends with us. This is a crew member saying
that Blake Lively took advantage of Justin Baldoni. Here is
a crew member from It ends with us.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
Maybe Blake smelled his kindness, mistook it for weakness, and
tried to take advantage.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
And take power.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
So yeah, so you believe black Lavely rescued control of
the film.

Speaker 4 (16:50):
I think she tried to.

Speaker 1 (16:51):
Yes, did she succeed any Probably?

Speaker 5 (16:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:56):
It's so interesting how people are so divided on that one,
but not everybody is on Blake Lively's side. I wonder
why that is. I don't follow that situation closely enough.
Is because she just got a snotty reputation in Hollywood.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
Well, I think a lot of people like a lot
of snottiness came out about her as she was starting
to get dragged for all of this. So I think
we started to see a different side of her that
other people hadn't seen yet, and of course everything went
viral when she was rude to reporters and stuff because
of all of that.

Speaker 4 (17:23):
I just watched.

Speaker 3 (17:24):
So she's in a movie called A Simple Favor, and
another Simple Favor is coming out like next week, and
I'm going to that. So I watched the first one
last night. She plays this like powerful woman in it
who like fakes her own death and I guess spoiler,
but this has been out for like six years, so whatever, Okay,
But I feel like this character she plays in that
movie is like who she is in real life. She's

(17:45):
very manipulative, okay, she's very controlling, okay, and she's very
like powerful, and I feel like she encapsulates those characters
so well because that's how she probably is.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
There are gin as we know there, Gin New Wenlee
are people that are like that. And okay, I want
to talk about Black Mirror for a second, because the
new season dropped a week or two ago, I'm not
exactly sure, and I love the first few seasons of
Black Mirror. The latest season has been kind of a disappointment.
I actually skipped episode number three, about the woman who

(18:17):
goes back in time to make a movie with like
computerized AI movie because it was just so stupid, and
even my wife Susan and I were like, what it's like,
there's twenty minutes left in this show, let's just skip it.
She was all for it. So we went to the
next one, episode four, which was called Eulogy. Yeah, and
that is a good one. So if you do watch

(18:38):
Black Mirror is probably one of the first good ones. Finally,
on Dave's Dirt Brought to you by six y one
to two Injured Heimer and Lammer's Injury Law Rain Wilson
Dwight Shrewt wrote lyrics for the office theme song, Here
we Go The Office, A show about a boss. Mostly

(18:59):
it's a show about Dwight. Show is a lot of fun.

Speaker 4 (19:04):
Mostly Dwight's a lot of.

Speaker 8 (19:05):
Fun, Rememberstanlee.

Speaker 4 (19:09):
Mostly I remembered why chrisin Ski's manly No one wants
a bobble ahead of Jim Let's face it. It's a
show about Dwight.

Speaker 1 (19:20):
Let's get real in the world did that come up?

Speaker 2 (19:25):
I feel bad because probably every single interview that he's
ever in he just gets asked about the Office. Now, yeah,
but I mean same with like Jennifer Anston probably just
gets asked about friends.

Speaker 3 (19:33):
Is Dwight whatever his real name? Is he in anything else?

Speaker 1 (19:36):
Rain Wilson, Yes, but yeah, he played Dwight Shroot, so
focus Vincent. Yeah, down to the goofy haircut. Yes, he
just really it's like, that's that's who he is. Rain
Wilson is Dwight Shroot. That is the dirt on kd
w u B. Stay here. We're about twenty minutes away,
eighteen minutes away from the next key word for Kendrick

(19:59):
and Sissa, and the only way to win is to
listen and keep your radio on here on KATWB you
will need that iHeartRadio app. By the way, I will
acknowledge that somehow on the iHeartRadio app they're playing old
school Mentos commercials.

Speaker 6 (20:12):
Now.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
I don't have anything to do with it. I don't know.
I wasn't aware, but apparently on the iHeart app they're
playing old school Mentos commercials Mentos Fresh Fresh. I don't
know why, but they are so there you go. We
will see you tomorrow war the Roses tomorrow seven thirty five.

(20:33):
Give us a preset on your phone. Make sure you
got a preset KTWB. It could be the number one, two, three, five,
I don't care what preset we are. Just make sure
when you got that app open and you're on KTBB,
tap that plus button in the upper left hand corner
